Scrabble

Summary: Theo and Luan are playing Scrabble and every one else is smart enough to stay out of it.

Disclaimer: Don't own them

Camille had no idea what they were doing but it involved wood titles and board. She was also trying to figure out why everyone was just watching them. Was this amusement to them?

"Dude…that isn't a word!" Luan said as he stared at the board.

"Yes, it is. It is Latin," Theo said.

"Bro, I thought that we weren't doing any foreign words, bro," Lu said as he pointed to the board.

"You started it with churro."

"It is a dessert! A very yummy one, I might add."

Theo snorted.

"Then there is nothing wrong with eureka."

The brothers gave each other looks for a moment.

"We call it fair and move on?" Luan suggested.

Theo nodded his head and waved at the board.

"Your turn."

Camille watched in utter confusion as she watched Luan make another word out of these weird word titles. She leaned over and whispered to Fran.

"I do not understand this game." She said.

"Oh, this is Scrabble. You make words in order to score points. Who ever has the most points at the end of the game wins. Also we don't play with Luan and Theo," Fran said.

"Why?" She asked.

While she might not enjoy the game, it did appear that Luan and Theo were enjoying themselves. For some reason, that appeals to her.

"It's because Luan and Theo know too many words in too many languages and that is coming from me and Dom. And they always win no matter what we do. Lu likes languages or at least, he picks enough of them from his travels. Theo is opposite. He likes the old languages. The older, the better…it appears. So playing with them is like play in a game of baseball with a tennis racket. It just isn't going to work out well. So, we sit there and watch them. And possible make bets on who is going to win. My bet is on Theo," Fran said.

"My bet is Luan. He was in France for some reason or another. So, he is bounded to pick up some words," Casey said as he passed by them.

"Mine is Theo. He has been learning Ancient Greece. He is very good at it." Lily said with a slight flush.

She wasn't going to ask.

"I bet on both. I have a 50 to 50 chance of winning," RJ said as he took a seat at the table.

Fran laughed and she just rolled her eyes.

Such silliness…but still.

She stared at the twins for a moment longer before moving from the table. She walked over and took a seat next to Theo.

"Fran has told me that you two are very good at this Scrabble game. I want you to teach me how to play," She said.

The twins looked at her.

"At least, she isn't afraid of us like the others. We send a couple of big words their way and they are like OMG…FLAIL. It is kind of funny. We are…okay…I'm totally not scary." Luan said.

"Thanks." Theo said with a look.

"You are welcome!" Luan said with a grin.

She stared at them then at the board.

"So, are you going to teach me?" She said.

"Of course." Theo said.

She listened to them explained bags of titles and numbers on a board. Perhaps, she will get this game of theirs and maybe, she won't.

One thing that she knew for sure was…

She was going to give them a run for their money. She is over 1000 years over. She knew some pretty big words herself.
