Author's note: So... Final chapter, just a short little epilogue. I don't even want to know about how many years this thing's been going... But thanks for those who have stuck with it.

Yumi Ishiyama smiled softly in the warmth of the evening sun as she fixed the stage. There was quite the crowd gathered together in this space. All of them chattered loudly as they waited. There was a familiar blonde man nearby. He offered her a little smile from time to time whilst two children watched carefully, excited and anxiously waiting. It wouldn't be all that long now… She glanced at her watch, a few more minutes now. Her eyes would periodically drift towards the sides of the stage, searching for a familiar figure she knew could be found there.

"When's it starting?" A child standing next to her asked.
"Shortly sweetheart." Yumi raised her gaze to another group of youths nearby. "Why don't you go with your brother, stay with him mind, it'll be more fun than hanging around here with the grownups."

The girl seemed a little hesitant. She was still quite young but would be starting at Kadic in the coming year, just soon enough to catch her brother's last year. The woman nudged the teen a little bit towards the nearby group but would do little more to encourage her on her way. If she wanted to stay then that was fine. She wasn't about to pressurize her. Slowly however, she took a few steps away before eventually hurrying over to the youths along with the blonde man's children.

He offered her a knowing smile before focusing on something else behind her. Yumi turned around. Behind her was another pair of couples. She offered them both warm smiles. The young man was difficult to miss with his spiky hair and unconventional dress. Those standing next to him were a little more discrete. She smiled, recognizing each of her old friends. It hadn't been all that long since she'd last seen them but their presence never went amiss.

"Good to see that the rain finally broke." William noted as he joined them.
"Yeah. Ulrich's been worrying about the electrics with all the rain we've been having."
"Well… Hopefully this will be the beginning of summer."

They didn't have much to catch up with. Having seen one another not all that long ago. As such, they simply discussed their lives. There was some ranting about bosses or other issues but mostly, they just talked about the kids. Between the six Lyoko warriors, they now had a grand total of 12 children. A small army and definitely not something to be taken lightly when they all got together but all things taken into account, they were good kids.

On stage, there was some cheering, an announcement was made informing everyone that Aelita Belpois was about to come on out and give them a show. Sure enough, a woman with bright pink hair entered the stage where a set of turn tables waited for her. There was a torrent of applause. Yumi looked up, just catching sight of a familiar brown haired man as the curtains were lowered. She flashed him a smile, not that it mattered all that much. She'd see him later.

The woman allowed herself a smile. All was well.
