Wow, it's been over a year since my last update! Sorry! In fact, I probably wouldn't have updated if I hadn't of been cleaning out my notes and found this chapter hidden a year back. Oh, well. Better late than never! Enjoy!

Chapter 4

"Ohh, Spiiikeee!" Spike sighed and exchanged annoyed looks with Donnie. The orange clad turtle skipped into the lab, humming a familiar tune under his voice.

"Yeah, Mikey?" Spike forced a smile on her face and turned around, taking off the protective goggles she was wearing.

"Do you know what pizza is?" He asked, a devilish grin on his face. Mikey was holding something big behind his back, but it was obscured by his large shell.

"Pizza?" Spike frowned and racked her brain for the term. "I know it's some sort of food.. Raph wouldn't shut up about it for like a week!" Donnie snickered.

Mikey sighed and shook his head mockingly. "Such a pity, only ever eating lettuce and leaves your entire life."

Donnie rolled his eyes. "We ate algae and worms for 15 years.. I don't think you can talk." Spike giggled, and Mikey waved Donnie aside with a wave of his hand.

"Touché, brother. Touché." Mikey pulled out a box of hot pizza from behind his back, and his grin grew bigger. "So I got you some!" He handed the girl the box. "Try it! And I promise that this time it won't be as hot as the coffee." She shuddered in remembrance.

Spike looked curiously at the box before flipping up the top. Hot steam went up with a WHOOSH, and Spike looked in awe at the masterpiece in front of her.

"No food allowed in the lab!" Donnie scolded, seeing his goggles fog up. Mikey gave his older brother puppy dog eyes, but Donnie was firm. "I don't need you two getting crumbs and sauce everywhere!"

Spike picked up the box, and after telling Donnie thanks for letting her work with him, walked out behind Michelangelo.

Mikey bolted to the couch and plunked down. He bounced slightly as Spike took her own sweet time getting over there. "Come on, Spike! You're doing this on purpose!" She giggled and sat down beside him.

"It's jellybean, anchovy, and Jalapeño! Best flavor ever!" Mikey watched her with wide eyes as she picked up a slice and brought it to her mouth.

One bite, and her mind exploded. "THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING THING IN MY LIFE!" She screamed, shoving the rest of it in her mouth. Mikey's eyes lit up in delight.

"Really?! No one else likes jellybean, anchovy, and jalapeño!" He grinned, and stole a pizza slice from her box. She frowned at him for stealing her pizza, but otherwise let him take it.

They shared the entire box, chatting and eating pizza. Spike wondered why Raph hadn't trusted Mikey with her as a turtle any before; he was so much fun to be with!

They must have sat there for hours, just hanging out. Mikey had introduced her to video games, too; she had a blast playing those. Neither of them ever noticed Raph walk by with a jealous look on his face. Leo walked by more than once on his way to the dojo, but other than that tried to avoid them. Donnie repeatedly stuck his head out of the lab and yelled at them to be quiet, which they tactfully ignored.

After a while, Leo approached them with an annoyed expression. "You guys are gonna have to move. ''Space Heroes" is on now!" He waited patiently for them to leave, but both ignored him, too.

"No pizza for a week!"

"I'll burn your comic books!"

"I'll throw out your video games!"

"Michelangelo!"

He was interrupted by a girly scream. "How did ya beat me again!?" Mikey cried out. Spike just giggled and threw down the controller.

"I'm just awesome like that!" She smirked, standing up and turning off the console. She handed Leo the remote with a smile.

'Gosh, she's so pretty!' Leo thought. He blindly accepted it and she laughed when he dropped it.

"Hey, Leo, do you mind if I watch it with you?" She asked hopefully. "I want to see what all of y'all like to do, so I can kinda figure out what I like." Spike grinned at him.

Leo's face lit up. "Yes! Nobody else will watch it with me!" He pulled her to the couch and turned on the TV, pulling up the correct channel. The theme song was just starting, and Leo started singing along, exchanging excited looks with Spike.

"How many episodes have you ever seen?" She asked in awe, watching him as his eyes were glued to the screen.

"Oh, I don't know. I've seen almost every episode at least 3 times a piece," he said casually. "And some I have only seen once or not the entire thing." He rolled his eyes. "Perks of living with 3 younger brothers."

Spike snickered. "Every time I was in here with Raph, he'd always turn it off." She shrugged. "At least I can watch it now!" The two exchanged smiles and quieted, looking forward to the show.

Spike couldn't take her eyes off of the TV screen. "This is the most amazing show I've ever seen!" She said, dead serious. Leo chuckled and offered her the bowl of popcorn he had somehow convinced Donnie to make for them.

"Uh, Spike, this is the only TV show you've ever seen!" Mikey butted in, and both Leo and Spike shushed him.

Raph casually walked into the living room, but groaned when he saw what the duo were watching. "No, Leo! Why'd you have to introduce her to "'Space Heroes?'"

Spike threw a piece of popcorn at him. "Hush, I'm trying to watch this, Raph!" He rolled his eyes and stomped off.

Leo and Mikey exchanged glances, and Spike huffed. "Boys," she said.

Now, let me be honest with y'all... I don't really remember what the plan was for the rest of this story... So I can't tell y'all when the next update will be either, or how much longer it'll be. Sorry! Anyway, thanks for still reading, even after a year! R&R!
