Hi! Thanks to all the lovelies out the who left a comment ^^ Hope his chapter is alright!

A week after the full moon, Remus was still upset and Black actually kept his distance from him now. Of course, he still stared at Remus in class and in the great hall. But he didn't make any flirty comments or pushed him more on the subject. It felt odd for Remus to have his privet life back and to be able to study and spend time with Lily without being rudely interrupted all the time.

"Is everything alright with you and Black?"

"What? There's nothing between us. Therefor it can't be bad or alright?" said Remus determinated and furrowed his brows.

"I'm kidding," laughed Lily. "But seriously, he seems to stay of now. Maybe he finally realized that you don't want anything to do with him."

"Yeah..." said Remus slowly and looked over at Slytherin's table where Sirius sat, talking to his friends. "Maybe..."

Then suddenly, a horried thought struck Remus. What if Black would tell his friends now about Remus' condition? He had probably made Black really angry in the shack last week, so he wouldn't have any reason to keep Remus' secret anymore. That would explain why Black didn't bother about him anymore. Of course he wouldn't be happy after what Remus had said to him and it would be typical Slytherin-behavior to give back on him now.

What have I done! Thought Remus desperately and looked over to where Sirius sat. He still hadn't given as much as a glance in Remus direction. But then again, so hadn't the other Slytherins at the table. They couldn't know then...yet.

"Remus?"

He looked up. Lily was looking at him in concern and he managed a smile.

"What were you saying?"

"That I'm going on a date in Hogsmead today," she smiled happily, waiting for Remus reaction.

"It's not Potter I suppose?" teased Remus and grinned at her. He tried not to think about his problems at the moment and everything felt easier when he talked to Lily.

"Oh shut up. Of course not," she sighed impatiantly. Remus chuckled and grabbed another toast, choosing carefully between the marmelades.

"Well, who is it then?"

"You know that boy from Ravenclaw..." She started and Remus frowned at her. "William. He asked me out yesterday."

Remus did knew him. He also knew that Lily had a bit of a crush on him, so he understood that she was nervous. Remus had seen her look his way at many occasions. Maybe that's how Lily meant that Remus was looking at Sirius...

"Hope it goes well then," he said and managed to smile. He was happy for Lily, she deserved someone nice. Not like Potter. Though he felt a pang of jealusly. He himself had never been on a date before and that was what most people in his age did now. Dating and getting partners... It made him feel even more left out.

"By the way, where were you last night? We were going to study together," she asked, interrupting Remus' thoughts.

It's that problem too. He would never be able to get too close to anyone because of his lycantrophe. His life was a ruined mess...

"I was just tired and went to bed. I'm so sorry about that," Remus sighed. Lily didn't seem upset about it and simply forgave him. She also arranged a knew date for them to study. For the rest of the breakfast they talked about school, their future careers, the Ministry of magic... And as they did the mail arrived.

A big barn owl dropped a letter on Remus' plate. He recognized his mothers hand writing immediately and opened the letter to read it through. It begun with the usual stuff, questions about school, tests and his health. The constant worry about him. Then his mum brought up the cuts of staff at the Ministry. It made Remus' heart jump. He had forgotten that Mr Black, Sirius' father, could sack whoever he pleased for no reason at all. What if Sirius had told him to get Remus' father fired.

Remus hurried to continue reading with a racing heart. But, to his great surprise, his father still had his job left.

'-And his position is safe. They have sacked a lot of people at the Ministry now, but they're valuing the Department of Transport and need the staff. So there's no need to worry about that anymore, sweetie.'

His mum wrote in the letter. Remus folded it and put it back in the envelope, deep in thoughts. What was Black on to? Remus had excpected a much more angry and loud reaction after the incident in the shack from Slytherin's greatest Drama Queen.

While Lily went to prepare herself for her date, Remus stayed in the great hall for a bit longer. He gazed over to Slytherins table sometimes, but Black didn't seem to pay him any attention so after writing a reply to his mum, he left as well.

Hogsmead was full of students as always. Today, Remus just wanted to sit down somewhere and read. His mum had sent him some money in the letter as they no longer had to fear his father getting sacked. So he found a nice looking cafe and got a huge piece of lovely chocolate cake. It was more of a tea room with different looking chairs and tables. The teacups were all unique from each other. It reminded Remus of Alice in Wonderland. A book he'd read lot's of times before he started Hogwarts.

Two hours passed quickly and it started to get darker outside. And Remus, who could never get enough of chocolate, wanted to pass Honeydukes on his way back to the castle.

He crossed the road and turned up the alley to Honeydukes. As he pushed the door opened the sound of the bell cut through the buzzing of the students and he stepped inside. It was crowded as usual on a Hogwarts Hogsmead weekend. He made his way to the chocolate shelves and started going through the wide selection. But just as he'd picked up a new flavored chocolate bar, pumpkin and cinnamon, he felt a light tap on his shoulder and turned around.

"Hey,"

It was Sirius Black who now stood in front of Remus. He didn't use his loud and flirty voice though. He had said it in a 'normal' conversational way which was very confusing. Remus, who was shorter, had first notice the grey sweater Sirius was wearing before looking up and meeting his eyes.

"Er...hey," said Remus back and tucked his long fridge behind his ear. I really need a haircut, thought Remus and blushed as he looked up at Sirius who's hair always was perfectly messy.

"So...how are you?" asked Sirius with his new calm attitude. He actually seemed a bit nervous...

"I'm fine," said Remus a bit stiff. Not used to ordinary conversations like this.

Sirius nodded and took a step closer to Remus so they wouldn't be overheard.

"I'm...I've been thinking, maybe I went a bit too far last time..." stuttered Sirius and nervously scratched the back of his neck, making his hair even more messy. This was very unlike him and Remus was so surprised that he couldn't find a fitting reply. But this was probably the best, and only, excuse he would get from Sirius so he'd better take it.

"Yeah...well, thanks," he said finally. Remus looked over Sirius' shoulder to watch his friends across the room. They seemed busy enough and didn't take notice in their conversation. So Remus asked in a lower voice. "Why don't you tell your friends? About me."

"Because..." Sirius started slowly and looked at the shelf behind Remus, as if he tried to understand himself. "Because it wouldn't be right. I walked into the shack just like that and found out myself. I don't have the right to tell anyone."

Remus couldn't believe what he just heard. Any moment now, Sirius would get that playful smirk back and say that he was 'kiddin'. But after a while, Remus realized it wouldn't happen and he nodded, mumbling a small 'thanks'.

"I have to go but I'll catch you later!" said Sirius more cheerfully and nudged Remus' shoulder, making him to look up in Sirius' eyes.

"S-sure," he replied stupidly and before he could say anything else, Sirius had crossed the shop to join his friends on their way out.

It's getting closer to the end! Not sure how to finish it though...
