Dear Hagrid,

When I think of the wizarding world you are one of the first people I think about. Probably because you're the one who introduced me to it. You took me from the Dursley's and showed me who I really was. Not a failure or a freak, but a wizard. Thank you for that. Thank you for showing me.

Do you remember, back in first year, when you invited me down to your cabin for tea? You sent me an invitation by owl so that I could get post like everyone else. I don't think I ever really got around to really thanking you for that. I hope that you know how much that really meant to me. Even after growing close to Hermione and Ron, you always have been one of my best friends - one of my first friends. I think it's become pretty clear over the years that my upbringing wasn't anything spectacular, but you made the end of my childhood the best that it could have ever been. It meant a lot that you did something so simple for me. That you've done so many things for me. You probably didn't think twice about it, either. That's what's so great about you, Hagrid. You are a kind person by nature, and in the world we live in, it's refreshing to find someone like you. I so appreciate all that you've done.

Even with the album you gave me with photos of my parents. Hagrid I can't even begin to explain the void you filled in my life. You've done so much for me that I can't even thank you properly for. I can't even thank you enough for just being there. You mean so much to me, Hagrid. I love you.

Please look after everyone for me,

Harry

A/N: So I know that I marked this story as complete, but Mischevious Nargle pointed out that I hadn't posted Hagrid, Neville, or the will. The latter two are in the works, but this is all I have to give you for now. Thanks for sticking with me. - Jules
