They had finally arrived back at the guild and Ed needed a few minutes away to stop thinking about Winry all the time.

"Looshi you picked one that was way too easy! This time I get to pick our job!"

"Natsu, you only thought it was boring because you had to keep quiet and weren't allowed to destroy anything."

"But Looshi! That's the best part!"

"Natsuuuu." Her voice came out as an angry drawl. "It's Lucy!"

Ed smartly backed away from the squabbling couple. "So how was your first mission with our little love birds?" A voice from behind Ed asked. He quickly turned to see the speaker, he didn't recognize her. She had long blood red hair and wore armor. "I'm Erza Scarlet by the way. Don't believe all the rumors you hear about me, less than half are actually true."

"It's nice to meet you, I am Edward Elric. You can call me Ed."

"So, the mission, how bad did they screw up this time?"

"Umm well let's see…"

So far everything had gone as planned. Happy had done his part and mapped out the entire island. It took him a day and half though since the island was rather large and he had to keep waiting for his energy to recharge so he could fly.

Of course this only made Natsu more eager than before to do something. The entire time Natsu didn't get to do anything and had to laze around on the beach which we almost got away with until Lucy had to do her part with Virgo. He wouldn't let it go, he kept on bugging her and finally she just knocked him out and left him tanning on the beach. She left him with Happy and brought Ed along, he just had to promise to stay quiet and watch.

They had almost finished the blue prints of the last building, there was only one wing left. Then there was an enormous explosion nearby, Ed and Lucy both crossed their fingers that it wasn't what they thought it was, but shortly after the thought had crossed their mind they heard a bellowing shout.

"Lucy, where are you! Lucy!"

"Needless to say our cover was blown, and we never got paid since it was supposed to be covert."

"That bad huh, I can't say that I'm all that surprised though with those two. Ever since they started dating it's like they are inseparable. Natsu seems especially worried about losing Lucy."

"I cant say that I blame him, I would feel the same if Winry did what Lucy does. I got lucky with a more or less stay at home kind of girl."
