Okay so it took me a while to make this chapter since I want to start making this story more refined. Also if you notice I'm trying to write more words with every chapter. Envy's POV

"Envy wake up!" my eyes open to the site of Wrath jumping on top of me. "Come on brother. Your dropping me off at school today." ugg. Great.

"Just give me a minute I'll be out in five." I say as I turn over in bed.

"Okay! But hurry." I see Wrath running out the door.

"Just great." I get out of bed and slap on some ripped faded black jeans. Picking up a purple shirt from the ground I yawn. I look towards the mirror. Hmm I look alright. I don't really want to put something nice on because my nice clothes are a little tight on me and I'm really sore today. The memories of what happend last night resurface.

Envy's Memory

I walk through the door tired from the little fight chibi and I got into after Pride dropped the news that we're going to be paired together. It was more one sided than anything tho. Ed may be good at sports but fighting is my speciality. He didn't even land a hit, but he sure did look cute trying. Hehe.

"I'm home!" I yell as I walk in through the door. I open my eyes and see Sloth running for me. Oh no. I feel Wrath pushing me towards her. She grabs my hand before I lose my footing.

"My room now." she takes off in the direction of her bedroom still gripping my wrist. I run with her knowing exactly what's happening. That's when I hear it. First it's a crash like someone throwing a bottle. Then I hear her

"Envy! Were the FUCK did you go." my mother yelled in what seems like the direction of the main entrance. We had turned into Sloth's room and she shoves me in there as she lockes the door behind her. I sit on her bed.

"What happend this time." I sigh and lean back on her bed.

"She umm." I look at Sloth fiddling with her shirt. Sloth is my younger sister by a year and the favorite of the man who ruined my life. By favorite I mean he spoils her. In reality I'm his favorite but as a toy to punish and torture he won't let anybody else touch me if he's not there unless he gives them permission. Which is mom this time. Sloth actully looks up to me not as much as Wrath but still loves me. She hates seeing me get beat up by mother every day, but that's the only way mom will calm down and not take it out on the others. So I just take it. Mom doesn't hit as hard as father did but she will leave marks.

"She talked to dad today and he said something that I didn't hear but her face showed it wasn't something good. Then she started yelling out your name." of course it was him who caused this he loves to torture and make my life miserable even if he hasn't shown his face in over eight years.

"So how mad is she in terms of yelling for hours at me or me being sent to the hospital." Sloth glares at me.

"Envy come on you can't be playing around she really is mad and she almost hit Lust for trying to calm her down." oh so this is bad. I'll probably come out of this with some cuts and bruises everywhere. I'm used to this tho. Yesterday I got let off with her throwing things, mostly wine bottles, at me and just making a mess.

"You know I have to go out there right." I raise and eyebrow at her hinting her to move away from the door.

"I know but wait till she calms down just a bit more i think she really will send you to the hosp..."

"Ahhhhh! NO mom! NOO!" Wrath yells cutting off Sloth's sentence. I rush out the door paying no mind to Sloth trying to pull me back. I may hate the brat's guts but nobody is going to hurt him but me. I run towards the kitchen seeing the bitch holding a broken bottle and about to swing it at Wrath when I put my arm in her way. The bottle crashes down on my arm causing me to wince.

"Wrath go." I give him a glare and he takes of running with tears in his eyes.

"Why Envy, you showed up." she looks at me giving off a sinister grin showing her true sadistic self. My family is fucked up.

"How could I not you bitch." I spit at her which results in me being kicked in the stomach and sent hurtling towards the kitchen door. That's when I see Pride hovering over me with a blank stare.

"Oh Pride I am so glad you're here." she slowly walks over to a chair at the table.

"Beat up this filthy whore till he can't stand up." she smiles at me with a glint in her eye saying she's going to enjoy this. Pride picks me up by my hair. The thing with Pride is that he's always trying to prove himself to mother but at the same time does not approve of her actions towards me. He will beat me up till I black out but he won't make it hurt as bad as if mother would do it. He still hates me but not to the point wear he'll kill me since I am not favored by mother so he just doesn't care. I feel a few pinches and cuts hit my body but then a few moments later I black out at the sight of Greed giving me that pity look from the entrance to the the dining room.

End of memory.

Oh yea. I grab my backpack in the ground next to my door and I take off running down the stairs.

"Wrath get your butt outside. We're leaving!" I reach the front door and see from the corner of my eye Wrath poking his head out of the kitchen with a piece of toast in his mouth and his eyes wide. I hear a loud crash from the kitchen as I open the door and run towards my bike. I want to get to school as fast as I can... Because I get to meet my chibi. I grab my side since it hurts from the running but as soon as I see Wrath come out I act like nothing happend.

"Here you forgot them." he hands me my fingerless gloves and a piece of toast.

"Thanks." I stuff the toast in my mouth and put the gloves on. Don't want anyone seeing the wound I got from the bottle.

"Does it hurt." Wrath is looking down at his shoes.

"Wrath look up and wipe the gloomy expression off your face. It makes you look ugly." I turn to get on my bike and turn it on. "If it makes you feel better Pride is the one who beat me up." Wrath jumps up behind me and hugs my waist.

"Okay" he gently rubs my stomach. Little brat, but I can feel him a little happier. Everyone knows Pride takes it easy on me when he hits me that's why he's trusted. As long as mom never finds out Pride will keep on sorta taking care of me without showing it. I'm going to have to go to his office this morning.

I gun my bike and Wrath and I are off. When I dropped off Wrath I see my chibi running trying to get to school on time which he won't since it's seven minutes away with my driving so he will be fifteen minutes late to first period if I don't give him a ride. Might as well give him a lift right?

"Hey Chibi wanna ride." I yell at him. He falls face first at the sight of me and I hold back a laughter.

"Go away Envy I do not want to see you." he still hadn't made a move to get up.

"I'm just trying to be nice and give you a lift today." he sits up on the sidewalk and crosses his arms as if he's weighing his options.

"*sigh* Fine." he stands up and walks over to the bike. He puts his leg behind me and makes no move to hold on to me. Man his brother and him are so alike.

"Look your gonna fall off if you don't hold on to me. And I won't turn back if you do fall off." I start revving the bike waiting for him to grab me.

"Mhm" he said sounding very displeased. Then I fell him lightly grab my waist. That's when I feel my bottom half wake up. Hehe man does this kid excite me.

"Well then." I take off almost reaching full speed in seconds. "We're off!" he shoves his face into my back which hurts a bit probably cuz of a bruise and then squeezes my waist a bit. We get to school with three minutes to spare. I feel Eddy-kun still holding on to me for his life and I smirk. This will be interesting. I get my phone out and have it ready in selfie position making sure to have my crotch in sight. I lightly force chibis hands to touch my Dick and snap a pic before he realizes what happend.

"What the heck!" he yells after giving me a good nice squeeze before jumping off the bike. I hide my phone when he turns around and points at me with an amazing blushing face.

"Yes chibi-kun?" I say looking at him in a heated gaze.

"Y-y-you. I should have known you were gonna try something. I'm not trusting you again." he puts his hand on his face and turns around still covering his face as he semi runs into the school.

"Such a cutie." I say out loud as I watch him enter the school. I look at my hand. Hmh his hand felt sorta weird. Like as if it was metal. Well whatever. I turn off my bike and head to Pride's office.

Kicking the door open I stroll right in.

"Sup' Pride I need two Asprins." I say holdong up two wiggling fingers and sit down on the beds.

"Okay Envy, take off your shirt and pants I need to put medicine on some of the cuts and I'll add a cooling patch on the bruises so they won't swell as much. I made sure to keep most of your arms and face from any wound. Tho your head will hurt a bit since you were pulled from your hair." He starts applying the medication on me and I'm already covered in cool patches. I look at myself from the mirror near his desk. I look funny. I stick my tongue out at myself and just feel childish.

"Hey Envy." Pride speaks softly which never happens so I look down at him in shock.

"Uhh yes?" he stands up and covers the medicine with the cap.

"If you decide to leave home I will pay for your expences." he looks over at me from his desk. Wow.

"That I have to say is the nicest thing you have ever said to me." I say putting a hand to my heart and add a little 'Aww'. He smacks me on the head but lightly.

"I'm being serious En." that's another first he has never and I mean never *ever* called me by my nickname. I stand up from the bed taking off all the patches and putting on my clothes.

"*sigh* Look thanks for the offer but you know as much as I do want to; I can't." I turn to leave then pause when I have the door half open. "But thanks Pride." I turn back over at him and smile a genuine smile. His face goes back to being cold and hard.

"The offer is there when you need it." I smile another smile and nod. I walk out and head towards first period. This is going to be a fun day. Edo-kun wait for me.~

Edward's POV

"Aaaachooo!" ugg I rub my nose at the sudden sneeze. I look around at my surroundings. "Were am I?"

"1st period in Economics." I turn to my right seeing Roy

"Ahh thanks." he looks up at me from his book.

"Its over already we have five minutes till the bell rings.

"Oh sorry." I look at him sheepishly. Even if he forced himself to be my friend now doesn't mean I'll be rude to him. I mean if it wasn't for these guys I would be failing worse than I am now. "Oh Shit." I say hitting my head against the desk.

"What happend." Roy leans back in his chair waiting for my answer now that I'm out of my heads grasp.

"Remeber that the principal assigned me a tutor for my classes." he nods his head. "Well Envy's that tutor." I stare at him waiting for his response. Physical or oral I wonder.

"Hahaha what?!" he looks like as if I just told him the most hilarious joke. So it was both.

"Envy is my tutor." I slam my head against the desk again.

"Hey Ed you should stop that your head is already messed up." I see him holdong out his hand expressing his wanting me to stop. I just glare at him.

"Fuck off." I cover my face.

"Ah but you know what. Envy is number 1 in terms of academic rankings. Isn't that funny." I mimick him in my mind

"Yea hilarious." I look at him through the gaps in my fingers. "What am I gonna do." I see a figure walk past the door. It looked alot like Envy. Guays weird since we got here at the same time.

"Just see what happens you never know maybe you guys will end up being friends. I mean he does have some sorta interest in you." he closes his eyes as he shrugs his shoulders.

"Roy. When Envy finds an interest in someone it's because he wants to mess up their lives." I cover my face again.

"That's a rumer Ed. Plus..." the bell rings and Roy and I stand up. "Well it doesn't matter just do your best."

"Yea thanks. Bye Roy."

"See ya Ed." we walk out of the classroom in diffrent directions.

Ahh I still can't believe I'm getting tutored by Envy. Why him of all people. He's crazy and a psychopath. I had Ling fill me in with all the details and rumors that circle around him last night. Apparently Envy has sent three kids to the mental hospital and all three have been deemed psychologicaly incapable. What makes it worse is that those three kids were some of the smartest people of the school. Then there's the rumor of that teacher Envy manipulated to commit suicide. Then you have all those kids that were sent to the hospital for major and minor injuries inflicted by Envy himself. That guy is scary.

"Edward Elric!" wow wait what. I turn to the voice that pulled me suddenly from my thoughts.

"Oh hey Russell sorry. What's up." Russell points over to his right, my left.

"He has been staring at you change for a while now I suggest you put on your shorts like now. I turn to the person Russell pointed at and notice Envy. That is disgusting. I wonder if he's gay. Forcing myself not to go back into my brain I pull up my shorts and go to the center of the gym. I notice Envy stays still sitting on the bench. I wonder what happend to him. Not that I'm worried about him. Lukly PE is split in all boys or all girls classes so I don't have to worry about accidentally hurting a girl when I go under. For some reason it seems to happen more often recently.

"Okay class were entering basketball season. Everyone who wants to be on the team line up by the bleachers. Oh and Envy you think you can play one game." Envy gives her this do I even need to try out look. "I have to force you to try out to make the team there are no favorites. So either you can play one game or wait till last period and play three." I look over at Envy again and he stands up.

"Fine fine I'll play but if I pass out it's on you." he points at Izumi. I didn't know they were on good terms. I go over with the guys who aren't going to try out because I just don't have the time for it.

"Ah Edward I was told by the principal that you and Envy have to do things together." the whole class starts laughing at the way Izumi said that and my face turns red with embarrassment. I look over at Envy who makes it worse by raising his eyebrows. Fuck him.

"I can't tho I have work and need to be at home." she out of everyone here should know that.

"Ah yes about that your work is postponed you will be receiving a paid vacation and for the home part I'll explaine later." she waves me over to her and looking down I jog over.

"What?" she gives me that glare that says watch your tone.

"I'll be talking care of your brother until your grades get better and I already let Sid know but you will go to work today since important people are coming. However after today your on temporary leave." she gives me that look.

"Okay but only till I get my grades up to a B."

"No and A. We both know what your capable of and also if you don't keep it at an A your not getting your job back." she turns ti the group of people who aren't trying out.

"Okay the rest of you go outside and do six laps then play something." she watches them to make sure they do as there told then goes back to us.

"Alright now your going to play one game I will pick four teams of five. The first half two teams will be playing continueisly. I will focus on one team per quarter. The next two teams will play the second half. I'm looking for five main players. I don't care if your señors I will only pick you as a main player if your good." she makes us face forward then gives us a number between 1 and 4. I get number three and Envy gets 3. Looks like were going to be playing against each other. Russell and I are in the same team. I used to play basketball all the time when I was little. Russell and I together were unbeatable on the streets. Then Al got sick and I stoped but my body never forgot the feel of the sport so I'm just naturally good. My position is as a center and Russell is good as a small foward. I have no clue what Envy could do since I just took notice of him yesterday.

"Yo Ed what just happened with teach and what's with you and Envy?" I turn my head in Russell's direction. The first game already started.

"Ah oh yea remember how the principal said that I'm going to have to pick up my grades and that she's going to assign me a tutor."

"Yea and?"

"Well Envy's my tutor." I look down to my side waiting for his reaction which I know is going to be oral.

"HAHAHA! What the heck ain't he the guy that made you black out yesterday." some of the people playing got distracted and everyone on the benches were staring at him. I see Envy pick up an eyebrow and grin at me.

"Will you shut it Russ everyone's staring." I shove him away.

"Haha okay whatever but I want details of what's going on kay." I roll my eyes.

"Like your not gonna find out anyway."

"That's true. But I would like to here it from the direct source."

"Yea yea okay watch the game I bet you Izumi if going to pick that short guy on team 1 I think his name is Kain Fuery he seems like a pretty good point guard." I point him out on the court.

"Yea he does look pretty good heard he's a wiz with electronics and he's a Freshman." we both stare at him then we see someone take the ball from some kid and shot it from the three pointer line. He makes it easily and I notice it's Kimblee. That guy is in our grade a junior but he has the same kind of reputation as Envy just a little less psychopathic. We used to hang out last year until í said something that got him pissed and he has never spoken to me since. I don't even remember what I said.

"Looks like Kimblee is on the team." Russell says effectively keeping my head at bay.

"Of course he's an amazing shooting guard." I respond. Then I feel am arm wraping around my shoulders. I shove the owner away from me with great force.

"Whoa wait a minute chibi I'm not picking a fight." Russel tries to hold back a laughter. That prick.

"What do you want Palm tree." I see his eye twitch but he doesn't respond to it farther than that.

"Pride just wanted to give you a message." he points over at the person by the gym doors. It was Dr. Sin.

"I only see Dr. Sin who is Pride." I feel Envy flinch.

"Oh yea Dr. Sin is Pride that's his name. Anyway he told me to tell you that after school you are too come with me to my house to start the tutoring session." I give him a yea right look and jog over to Dr. Sin leaving Russ with Envy.

Envy's POV

The chibi just leaves me with this guy who standing around awkwardly after his giggle fit ended.

"Umm well hi I'm Russell." he holds out his hand towards me. I know his name tho. I know everyone's name.

"Yep I know we have fourth period together. I'm Envy by the way." I shake his hand. Doing it only cuz he's Ed's friend and I rather be on good terms if we're going to see each other more often.

"Yea just thought you might not know." he starts messing with the hem of his shirt. "So what position you play or trying out for?" he looks over at me looking all awkwardness and now has a look of pure curiosity and exciment. Weird kid.

"My specialty is power foward but I'm pretty good as a shooting guard too. What about you."

"Ah that's cool that means you, Ed and I would be working together during games. My specialty is small foward and Ed's is a center." wait what. I would think Ed is a small foward or maybe even a point guard. "Yea weird right the position that ussuly tall people take, Ed has. But Ed is really good. He's favorite sport is basketball after all he would have to be the best on the court than all the other things he does."

"You rambled there but yea it is surprising he's a center but I kinda saw that comming." we hear the whistle and a bumed out Ed dragging his feet over to us. Guess he found out I wasn't liying.

"Aww my chibi found out I was right. Nah no talking; game time." I cut him off before he had anything to say and sprint to the court. From what I saw in the game Kimblee and a Freshman named Kain Fuery are going to make it on the team. I would just need to see Russell's ball work. *giggle* ball work. I crack myself up. A kid I think a sophomore gets creeped out next to me. Well whatever.

The whistle sounded the end of the game. Damn was Edward a good center he keept shooting ball after ball. And that Russell guy complemented Edward perfectly they were great. If Edward, Russell, Kimblee, Me, and that Kain guy get picked our team would be pretty dang good. Well now I just can't wait till school is over so the cute little chibi comes over.

And that completes the chapter. Next chapter is going to continue this day. The day in the story is a Thursday sometime in November I'm going start doing some time skips now that were getting close to completing the information chapters. Also I'n stating this now but this is a EdwardxEnvy story not a basketball story so I am not going to be specific on the games and drills there doing but I will had things here and there. I still need to introduce some characters like all the girls really. Oh and in case you didn't read the first author's note in the beginning I'll add it here too. I have a deviant art account were I'll post pictures having to do with the story and just some random lone characters or yaoi shipping.
