Harry groaned as he looked down at his desk in the office of the shop. His phone buzzing with text messages from Momiji telling him that he and Hatori were on their way over. He tried as best he could to trample the urge to bash his head against the wood and render himself unconscious rather than deal with this situation.

"Just so you know Katsu and Klara are also on their way now that everything is under control at the worksite. Also, you're not in too much trouble with the authorities after that thunderstorm of yours. Can we even call it that? I didn't even know you could do that." Kaito remarked as he paced the length of the room, his notebook in hand as he went over all the tasks he had to do now that he was back in Japan as well as the added tasks he would have to do after the mess Harry had made. He sighed as he thought of the complications that were bound to arise from this one small stupid incident.

It had taken weeks to get this whole project back underway after the mess it had become after Katsu and Harry's disagreement. Never mind the shock of realization that had come from finding out that Momiji was Katsu's son and finally hearing about the Sohma families once closely guarded secret. The secret's the fighting, it was honestly far more exhausting then Kaito would have ever expected it to be.

'I'd rather be subjected to George's experiments again then have to mediate this clusterfuck' Kaito thought to himself as he watched Harry silently digest what had just happen to him, his fingers lightly grazing his wounded cheek.

"Yeah well neither did I. And it was just a little thunder and lightning."

"That you did without a wand, or a spell, because Yamaguchi-san instigated you a little." Kaito reminded him, the memory of it still playing in his mind as he thought again and again about how the hell Harry had even managed to do such a thing.

"A little! The bastard threatened to go the British ministry about me!" Harry slammed his hands down on the desk and glaring at his friend's nonchalance.

"It was a threat! You shouldn't have snapped at him Harry. Even if they knew, it's not like there's a warrant out for your arrest or anything so what exactly would have even happened?" Kaito argues in return, refusing to put up with Harry's over escalation of the conflict.

"It would complicate things." Harry challenged in return.

"He signed an NDA it was a hollow threat at best. Don't get me wrong, I honestly didn't expect him to look into you but then again you were the one who decided to steal his staff!" Kaito reminded him, his tone more than a little accusatory considering he had warned Harry against picking a fight with the contractor months ago when this had all began.

"It's a free market and I offered them better pay." Harry argued, once again refusing to back down.

"Harry you're being unnecessarily stubborn, this is ridiculous." Kaito responded, his arms crossing as he looked down at the man the way he often looked at his daughter when she threw a temper tantrum.

"I was in the right! It's not unnecessary when I was right." Harry argued as Kaito tried his best to not shout at him in frustration.

"And I finally understand why brits are always complaining about you bloody Gryffindors. He's a contractor not a death eater, I don't understand why you had to go so far overboard." Kaito argued as best he could without raising his voice any further.

"He was the one who went overboard-"

"Harry?"

Both men stopped as they regarded the Sohmas standing at the doorway to the office.

"Sorry for interrupting but-" Hatori began before Momiji stormed in, a surprising look of anger on his face that Harry had never seen targeted towards him before. Harry jumped up out of his seat his hands stretching out towards the blond almost as though he could hold him back.

"Um I can explain?" Harry stated meekly as he came around the desk and reached out for his boyfriend.

Momiji glared up at him a moment waiting for an answer, the rage almost seeping out of him as Harry attempted to come up with something to say.

"Um so you see, well first how... how was the conference?" He decided to ask before he dug his own grave only to watch the blond grow even more angry. His voice still even as he replied, the lack of shouting terrifying Harry slightly more than he thought possible.

"My conference? The one that began with my father throwing a tantrum about my applications and ending in him needing to run out because of a disaster at the construction site? That conference?" Momiji asked in no more than a harsh whisper, his rage bubbling up as the he was a volcano about to erupt.

In that moment Hatori couldn't help but be reminded of his more temperamental family members, the blondes rage more similar to that of Yuki's rather than Hatsuharu's or Kagura's thankfully but somehow just as terrifying.

"Um yes?" The wizard replied as Momiji slowly made his way even closer to him. Kaito and Hatori shared a look of mild concern as the blonde edged his way closer.

"What. the. hell. happen?" Momiji demanded as he pinned Harry with the strongest glare he had in his arsenal. Harry couldn't help but to gulp in fear as he regarded the man he loved.

"Remember that construction contractor from last time whose staff I got to work for me? Well he came to the new site today and he was demanding to talk to me and well we had a disagreement and then Katsu was called." Harry explained as diplomatically as he possibly could.

"So, you're telling me that you got into a fight with your former construction worker in front of my father? My papa, who I've spent weeks arguing with about my right to date you and explaining how harmless and wonderful you are. That father?" Momiji asked dangerously.

"It wasn't really a fight per say." Harry added as he tried to redeem himself.

"Mate you punched the guy in the face." Kaito added unhelpfully as he watched the two argue, exasperated with the saviour himself.

"YOU PUNCHED A GUY IN FRONT OF MY FATHER!" Momiji demanded, the dam on his anger finally shattering as all three other men in the room winched.

"It's not that big of a deal!" Harry replied in some sort of feeble attempt to defend himself.

"Harry! He has texted me 30 times already about you being temperamental and violent! Why, just why did you think this would be a good idea?" Momiji demanded as he glared at the wizard with a level of frustration, he rarely experienced.

"I didn't mean to punch him alright! He heard about the new shop and wanted to start shit because I stole all of his staff and he was threatening to tell the ministry about my whereabouts."

"So, you punched him?" Momiji demanded, his hand running through his hair as he considered what the hell he was supposed to do with that information.

"He pushed me first." Harry replied.

"You got yourself a black eye!"

"Yeah well I broke his nose and a couple of his teeth."

"WHY ARE YOU SO PROUD OF THAT!" Momiji shouted just as the door to the office once again swung open.

"POTTER-SAN." Katsu bellowed as he stormed in, Klara quick on his heel as she tried to calm her raging husband.

"Katsu, please." Klara called out in exasperation as the man stormed into the room without so much as a second thought.

"No, I want to have a word with him!" Katsu shouted as he turned his gaze towards the two boys.

"Momiji leave us-" he began, practically forgetting that his wife was even there.

"No." The blonde was almost trembling in rage as he heard his father's voice after the disaster that had been this day, his body still turned towards the wizard as he tried to calm himself.

"Momiji this has-" The moment the words began to leave his mouth the blondes patience finally just snapped and he slowly turned around to face his father and the others, his body practically vibrating in rage.

"Get out." He stated, his voice drowned out by his father's shouting at first until finally he realized everyone else was frozen in fear and staring intently at the blonde boy.

"Momiji! I-"

"EVERYONE OUT. GET OUT NOW!" The blond shouted as he glared angrily at his father. Klara's eyes widening as she saw the rage on his face and the shock on Harry's before grabbing her husband and dragging him out of the room much to his protest. Hatori and Kaito wisely following behind them, shutting the door on the way out without so much as a word.

"Momiji?" Harry called softly as he watched the blonde try to quell his temper as he breathed deeply.

"Can they hear us?" He asked after a moment.

"Yeah, I'll fix that." He stated before reaching for his wand and casting a silencing charm.

A few more moments passed before Momiji finally calmed, his anger a campfire now rather than an inferno.

He turned slowly as he regarded the obvious concern on his boyfriend's face. An outburst like this was as rare for him as it got, and he wasn't too sure where to go now that he had cooled down.

"Your eye..." Momiji said softly as he slowly made his way closer to the wizard, his hand reaching up to cup his face and his thumb slowly grazed the purpling flesh.

"I'm pretty shit at healing charms but I'll ask one of the others to fix it soon." Harry replied, his own hand reaching to cover Momijis as the other circled his waist and pulled him close. His lips softly kissing his forehead as he muttered a soft apology.

"I wouldn't have lost my temper if I knew he would have been called. I know how stressful today was for you." The brit admitted as he softly rubbed the blondes back in comfort.

"I'd feel better if you'd have done it to prevent yourself from being hurt. I... I was worried." Momiji whispered as he rested his head against his chest. The blonde sighed as pulled the wizard closer, allowing himself to relax in the comfort of his arms for at least a moment before he would inevitably be forced to face the world outside that office door. Much to his joy, Harry seemed to get the message and held him just as tightly as he mustered up the courage to continue his apology.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I just can't help it, it's the adrenalin I guess, I don't get much of an outlet anymore, so I guess this is what happens. He pushed me and it was like every bone in my body just reacted without really thinking. And then there was my magic, I just don't know what's happening to me anymore Momiji. It's like trouble seems to always have a way of finding me no matter where I go." Harry sighed as he explained, resting his head against Momiji as the blond finally calmed down.

The moment stretched on between them as they held each other, both equally lost in thought about the events of the day.

"So, do you want to fill me in on what happen at the conference?" Harry asked, finally breaking the comfortable silence that stretched between them.

"Which part? The part where he suggested that he'd never allow me to step foot out of Japan, or the part where he called my dreams childish and foolhardy? Oh, or the part where he tried to pick a career path for me because mine was apparently stupid." Momiji said with a groan as he leaned further into Harry for comfort.

"That bad huh?"

"For a moment there he was even beginning to compromise. I just hope we can get back to that because he's probably going to spend the rest of today blowing a giant fit." Momiji groaned, he could almost see how the day would play out once they walked out of that stupid door.

"That's a given. You know we could always sneak out from here. Make a run for it." Harry joked, eyebrow quirking with the suggestion as he looked down to the blonde.

"Tried that, can't escape him, it's basically impossible." Momiji replied, the joke finally giving him a reason to crack a smile as he looked back up at the wizard.

"Just our luck." Harry pretended to complain, only to make Momiji smile even brighter.

"Should we-"

The sound of an explosion ran through the store, practically shaking the walls from the force. Instantly the two men pulled apart shock and confusion obvious on their faces. Much to their horror the explosion was followed by another and then another.

"What was that?" Momiji asked.

Harry didn't think twice before grabbing his wand and running out the door, his boyfriend following quickly behind.

Just as they ran down the stairs, they could see green and black smoke outside the windows of the shop and could hear screams in the distance, everyone inside of the shop looked as terrified and as confused as they were, unsure of what was happening and what they should do next.

"Harry!" Kaito shouted as he met his friend halfway through the store.

"What the hell is going on?" Harry asked as he tried to get a look around the store and make sure they were at least safe.

"They're Death Eaters Harry. I don't know how they found you but it's them. It has to be them." Kaito couldn't help looking back and forth between the front of the shop. He could see that Klara was already warding the door as Hatori and Katsu tried to calm everyone in the store.

"They're fucking Death Eaters! Kami what are we going to do?" Kaito asked more so to himself then to Harry as he watched a hooded figure walk down the now almost deserted road. The wind blowing the hood off of his face to reveal him much to Harry's horror.

"Greyback! That's impossible I... I captured him a year ago. He should be in Azkaban… Fuck." Harry didn't think twice before he ran towards the door, his wand drawn and ready for battle.

"Harry don't-" Kaito tried to hold him back but the wizard shook him off before he could even complete his sentence.

"I'll go out there, it's me that he wants." He made to leave but once again an arm held him back before he could throw caution to the wind and run into the fray.

"Harry, what if-" Momiji wasn't able to finish his thought before Harry's attention turned back to him and grabbing his shoulders with a strength that caused Momiji to fear for the worst.

"Momiji stay here. Promise me. Promise me that no matter what happens you won't leave the store. Swear it to me."

"Harry I-"

"Momiji please. Just promise me. Please, I need you to be safe. Please." He begged as he held onto the blonde's shoulders. His eyes stagnant with a conviction that caused terror to pulse through Momiji unlike anything he had ever felt before.

"I ... okay … Okay I promise." Harry didn't think twice before kissing him. Trying his best to ingrain the memory of him in that moment before finally pulling away and turning back to Kaito and calling for Klara, Katsu and Hatori.

"Katsu, Momiji, take all the children and muggles upstairs and into the office. The wards are strongest there and no one will be able to get in. Klara, the wards in the building are strong but I need you to control and reinforce them but before you close them, Kaito I need you and Hatori to pull any civilians into the shop. While you do that, I'll run distraction." Harry explained as quickly as he could before one again looking out of the store, Greyback was once again out of sight and lost in the smoke and there was no telling who else was with him and what he might be up against.

"Harry they are here to kill you! You can't just-" Klara began before Harry cut her off.

"I can handle them. It's not an issue just keep everyon- AHHH." Harry crumbled to the ground, his hands clutching his head as he felt someone push against his mind for the first time in years.

"HARRY." He heard Momiji shout, but he couldn't pull himself together and try to reply.

'Potter can you hear me? It's Malfoy, stop being a twat and don't fight me I need to communicate with you. I'm using Legilimency to communicate with you.'

'Malfoy!? The hell is going on!?'

'Me and Longbottom are both here with a couple of Japanese Aurors. Greyback is here with eight others and they've got civilian hostages. Can you take Greyback while we get the rest, we're largely outnumbered.'

'Yeah… Yeah I can do that, just get any civilians into the shop, it's heavily warded.'

'Got it.'

"Harry! Harry are you alright." Momiji called out as he zoned back into where he was.

"The aurors are here. That was Legilimency, they're trying to get things under control I need to go help them."

"Potter-san are you sure that's wise?" Katsu asked as he looked skeptically between him and whatever might be outside of the shop doors. Just as he was about to reply another explosion of black smoke went off and without a second thought Harry ran towards the door.

"It's our only option! Don't leave the shop the wards will keep you safe! They won't be able to get in!" He shouted back before running headfirst into the streets, his robes billowing behind him as he twisted and turned searching for the death eaters.

Momiji froze as he watched Harry leave before sprinting into action himself rushing towards the parents and the children and ushering them up towards the office. The others jumping to life with him as they rushed to help. Hatori and Kaito running out into the streets to usher scared civilians into the shop as quickly as they could while hoping and praying that they wouldn't get caught by whoever it was that was out there.

"GREYBACK!" Harry shouted as he scanned the streets for the werewolf, he could hear the drum of his own heartbeat and had to force himself to concentrate and fight the urge to keep looking back to the shop and making sure everyone was safe.

"GREYBACK! COME OUT COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE! ITS ME THAT YOU WANT AFTERALL? SO, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" He shouted as he got his wand at the ready. From the corner of his eye he could see Kaito and Hatori ushering people into the store from the surrounding shops. They were an obvious target and there was no way in hell Harry would allow anything to happen to them.

'Potter I can hear you shouting from here! I said handle him not sacrifice your dumb ass to the maniac. Could you manage to keep yourself alive long enough for us to get to you? For fucks sake.'

'Just tell me how long Malfoy. I think I can manage this much.'

'The issue isn't managing it. It's about living to tell the tale of it. I know that hero complex of yours is about the sail off the handle by now but do try to keep it in check.'

"POTTER!" The werewolf shouted; his voice enhanced so that everyone within a 20-block radius could hear them. It was dawning on Harry that Greyback wasn't here just to capture him or attack him. He was here to put on a show and Harry was beginning to worry.

"Greyback. It's been a while." Harry replied as he slowly backed away from the shop. The wolf following him like he was his newest prey, the look of bloodlust on the killer's face was in clear contrast to Harry's obvious trepidation. Both their wands were at the ready for anything that might come from the other, but the question of what was to come hung heavy between the two.

"Took a long time to track your scrawny ass down Potter. We spent months combing the international news, putting out feelers all over North America, searching for you all over Britain and Scotland. All just to find you here." Fenier replied with a snarl as he moved closer and closer.

"I'm more curious how you managed to get out of Azkaban. After all the hard work I did putting you in there in the first place." Harry replied with a smirk, instantly enticing Greyback to growl at the memory.

"They never put me in Azkaban Potter. Ministry decided to go with a new underground facility. My people broke me out within the month." He said with a laugh. The sound loud enough the trigger howls from the others he had brought with him.

"And now what? You want revenge?" Harry replied as calmly as he could, not wanting to give Greyback a reason to believe he was worried.

"Oh, I want a hell of a lot more than that." Greyback replied before beginning to throw spell after spell at Harry.

Harry reflected them almost instantly, the whole act was almost instinctual, a dance of spells, hexes and curses thrown back and forth and back and forth. Neither of them batted an eye as they fought, Harry making attempts to pull Fenier away from the shop where he knew Hatori and Kaito would be ushering people into its door under the guise of what must have been a powerful disillusionment charm considering that he could no longer see them.

"You know they say that you've turned Potter!" Greyback shouted, the sick smile on his face causing Harry more than a touch of anxiety. The bastard was up to something.

"You should know better than to trust the papers Greyback." He shouted back.

"They make some fair points. They say you've been ruined by his magic. That there's evil that courses through your veins. That he took root in you." He snarled. A laugh following soon after in chilling fashion.

"Here to recruit me then?" Harry asked with a raise of his eyebrow and the reflection of another of Greyback's attacks.

"Or kill you. Whichever works best." The monster smiled, his pointed teeth glistening as he displayed them for Harry like he was trying to give him a taste of what he had in store for him.

"Voldemort couldn't do it what the hell makes you think you can." Harry replied with a pompous smirk of his own that he knew was bound to rile up the werewolf.

"DO NOT SAY HIS NAME." He shouted in return, as though the statement would have any effect on Harry.

Harry couldn't help but to laugh as he threw another spell at him, this one hitting him and tearing a gash into the side of his abdomen. Greyback let out a terrifying howl before launching a killing curse at Harry. The boy who lived reflected it without a second thought.

Spell after spell they battled and battled until almost out of nowhere Harry heard a blood curdling scream. Without warning a little girl flew towards Greyback under what must have been a spell placed by one of his companions. Harry dove forward attempting to pull her from him, but it was too late. He caught her and had a wand to her neck before Harry could do anything about it.

"Let her go Greyback."

"Drop the wand and maybe I'll think about it."

He felt almost a tidal wave of dread come over him as he stared at the little girl. He knew her like he knew most of the children that frequented this area and the store, her name was Sara and she didn't deserve to have this happen to her. She was only 7 years old and her poor mother was probably terrified somewhere close by, praying that she would be safe. He knew he had to save her. This, all of this, it was all his fault and he wouldn't let her suffer through what Greyback was likely about to do to her. For a moment he thought about the terror he would feel if it was Teddy in his grasp and he knew exactly what he needed to do to save her.

"On three Greyback. You push her to me, and I'll toss you my wand." He tried as best he could to make sure his voice didn't waiver. If he would die today, he wouldn't give them the pleasure of seeing him afraid.

'Potter I've gotten word from an auror near you. I know what's happening. We've got the auror on his way there, he will get her the second he lets go.'

"How many other hostages Malfoy.'

'Two.'

'How long'

'We've almost got it taken care of. A couple of his people made a run for it, so we split teams the second we catch them were coming. Potter don't instigate him.'

'Just tell me when they're safe. I can use some wand less magic, but I won't unless I have to.'

'If he tries to kill you-'

'I will.'

'Good.'

'Malfoy … If anything-'

'Potter don't-'

'Tell Teddy I love him. And there's a blonde in the store… Momiji… Tell him I'm sorry'

'Don't die Potter.'

Harry sighed as he held up his wand, ready to throw it towards the werewolf. Greyback similarly grabbed the girl and readied himself to push her towards him. Within the blink of an eye he pushed the girl and Harry tossed his wand away from him. Almost instantly an unseen force pulled the child towards the doors of the shop faster than Greyback was able to realize. Harry immediately bolted forward in an attempt to catch his wand but Greyback was faster.

Harry hissed as he felt invisible binds grab him by the arms and legs, hoisting him away from the ground. He pulled against them as best he could but to no avail. He swore to himself at the vulnerability of his predicament. He turned to look at the store for a moment, his mind coming to wonder if it wouldn't be long now before he would see Fred again. Then his eyes fixed in the window to the second floor. To the blond head of hair standing in it staring back at him. Momiji was there instead of inside the office like he had hoped. And there was nothing he could do to warn him, to force him to look away. He had finally finally found love and peace and now it would be ripped away from him just like everything else was in his life.

"You shouldn't ignore your betters Potter." The werewolf drawled out as he approached the Gryffindor.

"You are nothing, but the pet vermin Voldemort left behind. And you'll die just like he did. Like vermin." Hardy spat back at him; his voice amplified by some sort of magic the werewolf must have used without him noticing. The confusion on Harry's face must have been obvious because Greyback seemed more than a little proud of himself for the stunt.

"I did it on purpose you know. So that they can hear your screams. So that they'll remember how I killed you." Greyback explained as he licked his lips and eyed the seemingly prone figure of the boy who lived. His mind conjuring images of him finally tearing the boy apart limb from limb.

"Fuck you" Harry replied, forcing himself not to show a shred of fear to the monster before him.

"The saviour of the wizarding world. The boy who lived. The chosen one. How pathetic. Tell me Potter, is this how you wish to die. You have a choice you know. You can either die here like a mongrel or bare our arm. After all, you are the only possible successor to you know who." Greyback smiled hoping beyond hope that he would refuse, and he'd finally get to kill the boy who lived.

"I fought to kill him because he deserved to die and because the world didn't need a bastard like him. Why the fuck would I become him?" Harry barked in return, the idea enraging him far beyond even his own expectations and hitting a painful nerve.

"Let's see if we can get you to tell the truth. I don't have any vertaserum but I find that torture loosens tongues just as well." Grayback reasoned as he raised his wand to the wizard's chest and pushed as far as he could without breaking the wand.

"Rot in hell-"

"Crucio."

The green light was blinding as the pain ripped a scream from his throat before he was able to suppress it. It's lasted only a few moments, but the pain seemed to linger in his subconscious as he finally looked back up at Fenier Greyback.

"How was that Potter? Changed your mind." The bastard looked at him with a smirk, his clawed hand all of a sudden reaching up and pulling his head up by the hair. This time lifted his wand to his forehead and rested it against the scar that had defined him as long as he had lived.

"No." His voice was raspy as he stated it. He glared at the man with a hatred he was very rarely capable of, but he seemed dead set on harnessing today as he looked into the eyes of the werewolf in front of him. The wolf seemed more or less overjoyed to see the hatred reflected back at him before once again plunging Harry into unmeasurable amounts of pain.

"Crucio."

The pain didn't subside this time and for a while Harry couldn't think, couldn't breathe, couldn't understand what was happening. It was all just one onslaught of pain after another. Almost from a distance he could hear it. The sounds of the werewolf repeating the curse again and again in an attempt to not let up on his unending cycle of pain.

He knew this curse. Some part of him seemed to be reminding him that it targeted his brain. Made him feel like he was in physical pain. He could almost hear Hermione lecturing him about it but instead he tried his best to focus. To not let the pain overcome him. To push against it the way he sometimes could against Legilimency. Just enough to maintain his sanity long enough to withstand the attack. Just as he began to feel like maybe he could gain enough control to cast a spell nonverbally he felt the onslaught stop.

He felt the pressure at his cranium as Greyback pulled his head back, once again looking him dead in the eye.

"Last chance Potter. Ready to give into the piece of him left in you?"

Harry could barely think over his own panting as his lungs attempted to catch up with him.

"Never." He spat back as he glared back at the man once more. If he would die today, then so be it. He just hoped that no one else would die with him.

"You know, I'm happy that you say that Potter. I've always wanted to kill you." Greyback stated, his face practically lighting up with delight.

'Potter keep him talking we'll be there in a minute I swear.' He could hear the panic in Malfoys voice and as surprising as it was, he couldn't help but to be thankful that he was coming.

"Oh yeah and why is that? ...For revenge? Cause that rationale is getting old... Do you know how many of you bastards have tried to kill me?" Harry tried his best to draw it out. Hoping against all hope that it was only a matter of time before reinforcements could arrive.

Fenier laughed at the question in a way that made Harry dread what would come out of his mouth next.

"For completion." He stated joyfully.

"Finishing off your masters work then?"

He felt the clutch of Feniers fist tighten as he said it, his anger obviously returning to him for whatever reason.

"Not his. My own... You see the dark lord may have killed your mother and father, but I was the one who killed the others." The smile on the werewolf's face was all sharp teeth and a disgusting dosage of pride.

"What others." Harry demanded.

"The rest of the house of Potter of course, all of your great aunts and uncles all those distant cousins, nieces and nephews. Every single person who could have taken you in. Raised you. Protected you. I killed each and every one of them."

"That's a lie." He stated it as though it could be the only fact. He knew that it had to be but Greyback just laughed back at him.

"Didn't you ever think it was strange that the only family you had left were those disgusting muggles. The only reason I didn't kill them too was because of the bastard Dumbledore."

"SHUT UP." He shouted in return.

"And now I get to kill you too." Greyback said with a laugh, his wand digging into the scar and Harry thrashed against the basic binds

"Fuck you."

"Avada k-"

"REPULSO"

Instantly Greyback was pushed away from him, Harry's magic stopping him from finishing the curse but not enough to do much damage. Before Harry could conjure his wand Greyback was once again on his feet and running towards him.

"YOU BASTARD!"

The werewolf lunged at him the moment he got his footing back, his claws both extending as he imbedded them into Harry's abdomen as deeply as they would go, this time making sure that Harry couldn't be pulled away from him. Harry screamed as Fenier retracted one of his hands and once again pulled out his wand and pointed it at his throat, the spell was a second away from being uttered when Harry saw the wand fly from the werewolf's hand.

Harry felt the werewolf withdraw the claws as if he had done it in slow motion. The pain was excruciating as the binding spell that had held him in place dissipated and he fell to his knees.

He could hear Greyback fighting with the aurors. Knew that they were going to catch him momentarily, but he couldn't will himself to stand up no matter how hard he tried.

Finally, he heard the howl of the beast and the relief that cut through the tension in the air.

"HARRY." He could barely look up at Neville and Draco as they ran over to him. Draco instantaneously berating him for his recklessness as Neville tried to help him up.

"I don't think I can. Move that is." He whispered.

"It's alright. Just lay down and- Harry? Harry!" The sound of Neville's distraught voice was the last thing he heard before his consciousness faded to black.
