A quick one shot of my first Tomb Raider fanfic! Let's see how this goes! :D

Sam's eyes had tears welling up. She stretch out her arm while she cried "I'm not leaving without you!"

Lara sighed "Come on Sam we been through this before. You got to let go"

"But I'm not ready" Sam claimed in defense.

"Yes you are. I know you are" Lara tried to reassure her but Sam counters it "But I don't know"

Lara thought to herself for a moment. This was something similar she went through with Roth when she told him that she feel like she wasn't ready and really didn't feel like she was living up to the Croft name. Luckily, Roth steer her in the correct way as she would steer Sam in the correct way as well. Lara smiles at Sam and says "You just haven't discover it yet" Sam scoff at Lara as if in mockery to herself. "Yeah and I believe that I never will" Lara then places a calm hand on Sam's shoulder which cause the filmmaker to be stun by that action. Sam turn just in time to see Lara smiling at her "I do. After all you are a Nishimura" Lara remarked to her.

Sam was struck speechless but eventually she sigh in defeat as she know that she can't beat Lara in this.

"Alright fine..." She admitted heartily.

Sam then looks up at the menu of a burger in the drive thru of a fast food restaurant name Burger Shot. "Goodbye Burger Shot. I will truly miss you" Sam said as tears fell from her face as she slowly lower her arm down. Lara looked at Sam with half pity. Sam and Burger Shot go way back with each other. Way back than Lara. Sensing that her friend need some comfort, Lara then said to her as she began to drag her away "See? Now was it that hard?"

"Yes" Sam instantly replied as she face her. Lara can tell that Sam was having a hard time with this.

"We are only going to be gone for a week" Lara stated to Sam, hoping she would understand but when she saw the anger flaring through the Japanese girl, she knew it made things for the worse. "But we're going to the Jungle, Lara! The freaking Jungle!" Sam snapped as she pointed out to her but Lara just brush off her comment as she said "You get use to it Nishimura" This earning a scowl from Sam as she folded her arms across her chest.

"I hate you Croft"

Lara chuckled "Love you too Sam"

Sam grumbled.
