As much as Emma should be happy in this moment, she was in great agony. Regina yells obscenities as she held an iron grip on Emma's hand. Yep, she thinks a bone or two broke. The doctor and nurses yell "Push," clang nosily in the spacious hospital room given to the mayor in labor. The nurses tried to soothe Regina, make sure Emma doesn't pass out, and keep from family members panicking on the outside waiting for the next royal coming into the family.

Emma wipes the hair out of Regina's eyes as her grasp was firmly in place.

"We are almost there, just keep pushing."

"Shut up, idiot," Regina growled with clenched teeth as she continued in labor.

Given that her fiancé is pushing their daughter out of her body, she let insults and continuing to hold the fierce grip. Regina above everyone in the room was relieved when she her cries from daughter. For the mayor, this experience was much better than Henry. She actually had the love of her life right next to her, a room of people that actually cared for waiting for them. Tears of joy filled her as she was handed her daughter.

Dr. Robinson smiled lovingly has she handed the bundled of pink flesh to the couple after having her clean and Emma helped to cut the umbilical cord. It was a cerebral experience for her.

"Hey mommies. Here is your daughter."

Emma had tears in her eyes as she stared at her daughter. She looked at Regina who was radiating and she never saw her in a more beautiful light. For the blonde, she had a little ping of guilt that she wasn't there for Regina and Henry for the first time around, but she vowed that she was going to be there from the start.

Regina held there beautiful daughter in her tired arms as Emma looked on. Her red face stopped crying as she felt her mothers' warmth.

"She's gorgeous. We did it," Emma excitedly kisses Regina on the forehead.

"We did." Regina lifts their daughter towards her. "Hold your daughter." Emma grinned stupidly and carefully took their daughter in her arms and held her closely.

"Do we have a name for her?" Dr. Robinson asked as they continue to adore their baby.

Regina looked at Emma expectedly. Emma nodded, she felt so grateful and honored that she can name their daughter.

"Emily, Emily Swan-Mills is her name".

The couple had their time with Emily alone but they knew there was family anxiously wanting to see the baby as well. Storybrooke Hospital has a strict policy of only up to three people being in the delivery room. Of course Henry will be one of the first, he is super excited. The other two spots were contentious. Cora managed to bully her way into the room. David decided that Snow should go in to see the baby.

Henry speedily ran into the room, beaming at his mothers and baby sister.

"Wowww, she is so tiny." He cooed at his baby sister, she stared up at her big brother with beaming green eyes.

"You were small too my little prince," Regina lovingly combed through her baby boy's head.

"She is such a little angel. What's her name?"

"Emily," Emma answered as she smiled at her mom who gave her a hug.

"Yes! I helped Ma out with the name."

"Oh really," Regina responded as she looked at Emma conspiringly.

"Yep, I needed some help. I think we did a good job, didn't we buddy?"

"Yep!" and the two first bumped. "Can I hold her?"

"Yes, but you have to be careful. Make sure you keep your hand behind her head to give her support." Emma is so happy with herself that she read pregnancy book s and asked Regina questions about child rearing. Now she doesn't feel like such a putz.

Henry held his baby sister in adoration. "Hey Emily, I'm your big brother and we are going to have an awesome time." Everyone giggled at his childlike enthusiasm. Snow then got the chance to hold her granddaughter.

Cora was standing regally next to Regina's left hand side. She hesitantly and softly held onto her hand, a ghost of a smile on her face, but pride in her eyes. Regina has never felt more support from her mother until now, and she was grateful.

"She is beautiful, Regina. A royal princess she is. We have to plan to present her."

Emma was confused. "Present her? What is that supposed to mean?"

Snow sighs, she really should take the time to explained Enchanted Forest traditions to her daughter.

"Whenever a child from the royal family is born, they are presented to the nobles of the court." Snow rolls her eyes at herself. "I can't believe I am agreeing with Cora, but this will be a great opportunity for all of us to be there and show the community a united front."

Cora arrogantly smugged. "I did it for Regina. This is a common practice." She still feels giddy having nobles who used to look down at her now bowing to her and her daughter. Yes, she knows that she can be petty.

"I'm not going to parade my daughter around like a pageant."

"Soooo…I mean…is this like going to be a Circle of Life scene. If so I'm totally down."

Ughhh…her lovable idiot. "We are not going to reenact a scene from Lion King," she exasperatedly responded as Snow placed Emil into her arms because she looks like she was sniffling. Darn Snow and her mother putting ideas into Emma's head. "Everybody out, I have to feed Emily."

Everyone exit the delivery room except Emma. "I think that it will be a great idea. I mean, look at how cute she is. You know everybody would want to see her anyway." Emma softly caresses Emily's wisps of hair as she suckled for milk. It looks blondish but she has no idea what her daughter's hair color will be.

Regina shook her head as she adores her daughter who easily latched onto. "You're such a child."

"A child that gave you two children," she smartly responded back. She couldn't help but laugh. "I'm so happy that she is here finally."

Emma placed a soft kiss on her lips. "I'm glad that you are so strong. I love you so much."

"I love you too."

Now that the first three set of people had their time with Emily, the next set can come into the delivery room; Neal, Rumple, and Charming.

Neal came in and punched Emma in the arm and gave her a side hug as soon as he entered the room.

"Ouch, I just had a kid here."

"No, Regina did all the work. Is everything ok?" He looked at his niece in Regina's arms. "What's her name?" he asked as David and Rumple made their way into the room.

"Her name is Emily Swan Mills and yes, I am fine. There were no complications." Regina was touched at Neal's concern for her well-being. She did not have anyone other than her father caring about her in such a way.

"Regina, she is lovely, just as you were." Rumple carefully supplied. The older man remembered when he held Regina in his hand when she was a baby. There weren't paternal feelings at the time; it was more how he could manipulate this new person to find his son. He is still trying to navigate his relationship with Regina. At this point, he is just glad that he was allowed in the room.

"Thank you," Regina responded. She is slowly trying to allow Rumple in her life as a father figure. He hurt her, she hurt him, but throughout their relationship he was mentor to her. Maybe that is why the transition shouldn't be too much handle.

David had his granddaughter in his arms now, he was cooing at her. Everyone eventually got a chance to hold Emily but the nurses made them scarce so Regina could recover properly. After two days the couples were able to return to their home.
