Aria POV
Unstoppable tears rush down Aria's face as she barges through the hospital halls. How could she? How could Jenna just give up on their relationship... After everything Aria did... all the worrying... Everything that Jenna said could've been all lies...
Just as she was entering the waiting room she sees Hanna... And Spencer.
Aria immediately turns around and starts walking the other direction.
"Aria wait!" Spencer calls as she jumps up from her chair. "Whats wrong? Why arnt you with Jenna?" She looks at Aria concerned.
"You were right Spencer..." Aria says crying harder and harder as the seconds pass. Every time she closed her eyes she saw Jenna... Looking right into Aria's eyes and saying that they were over. "She doesn't love me" Aria cries. The next thing she knew Spencer and Hanna were both hugging her.
"I'm sure she is just overwhelmed with everything that happened... She might really love you Aria..." Hanna whispers into her best friends ear causing Aria to cry harder
"Yeah... She probably just thinks she is hurting you... who knows what that monster did to her when she was gone..." Spencer says as she pulls out the hug.
"I know but... she looked me in the eyes and say were through" tears fall down her face as she imagines Jenna's face when she said it.
"I know... But everything will be okay" Hanna says as she envelopes Aria into another hug. "I'm sorry for everything I said when Jenna went missing... I was incredibly wrong I shouldn't have acted like that..." This causes Aria to cry even more.
"Let's go back and talk with her please?" Spencer offers, not wanting her best friend to feel this way.
"No... I just want to go home... Please" Aria says wiping her tears. A memory of Jenna comes to her mind as she thinks of her home.
*FLASHBACK*
"You okay?" She asks and walks with Aria up the stairs. Why was Aria so timid? Did she not trust her anymore? Jenna starts to worry... if Aria didn't feel comfortable around her then their friendship wasn't as close as she thought.
"Nothing... I'm just worried about you..." Aria says and she rubs Jenna's back and walks her into the bedroom. Jenna's hand were shaking a little. Aria was really starting to worry. She helps Jenna sit down.
"I'm fine... Honestly... this happens a lot..." Jenna says smiling a little and grabs Aria's hand. Jenna calms down a little. Aria was just tense cause she was worried... Not afraid. She lays back and closes her eyes.
"I'm going to go change into something more comfortable... I'll be right back okay?" Aria bends down and kisses Jenna on the cheek. She wanted to kiss her for real but didn't want to make Jenna feel pressured. For all she knew Jenna didn't even like her. She starts to get up.
"Wait..." Jenna whispers. She pulls Aria back down to her and kisses her on the lips softly. She knew that Aria had feelings for her but maybe Jenna wasn't being obvious enough that she liked her back.
Aria lowers herself back down to the bed kissing Jenna. It was like everything around them disappeared. She moves her hand to Jenna's cheek and kisses her more passionately. She was surprised at Jenna's actions but she wasn't going to complain. They slowly pull apart.
"Don't apologize this time..." Jenna says moving Aria's hair out her face.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Tears fall down Aria's face and she cries harder. Lies lies lies! Jenna was a liar...
"Okay..." Spencer says as she grabs Aria's hand. "Sleep over?" She asked.
Aria honestly just wanted to be alone. She needed to sleep and cry and eat a gallon of Chunky Monkey ice cream.
"No... I think I'm just going to call it a night..." Aria replies while staring at the ground.
"Okay... Do you want me to drive you?" Spencer offers.
"No... I'm sure that I'll be fine, You two should go home." Aria says to Spencer and Hanna. She didn't want to get in the way of her friends sleep or time.
"Okay, I'll see you at school tomorrow" Hanna says as she waves to Aria as her and Spencer leave.
Aria's heart was aching and it felt like it might burst out of her chest. Tears fall down her face with out control as she walks outside only to be stopped my Mrs Cavanaugh.
"Aria? What's the matter why arnt you with Jenna?" She says concerned. She had some small bags with clothes and bathroom supplies for Jenna to use while at the hospital.
"She... She broke up with me" Aria says as she cries harder. She still couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe how selfish Jenna was.
Mrs Cavanaugh gasps.
"My daughter broke up with you?!" She says shocked.
Aria just nods. She was tired of repeating it. She takes a deep breath and continues to walk down the street to her car.
"Aria wait... Just... Let me talk to her okay? I can make her change her mind and maybe we can-" aria cuts her off.
"Im really sorry Mrs Cavanaugh but I can't okay! I have to go!" Tears fall down her face as she gets into her car and drives home.
A month later
Aria was sitting in Mr. Fitz class just staring at the wall not even listening to what Ezra was saying. The past month had been a blank blur to her. Jenna moved away and completely shut her out and her mother moved to Europe with her boyfriend.
The only person she could truly rely on was Hanna. Which was strange because Hanna originally wasn't her shoulder to cry on. Her train of thought was interrupted by Spencer poking her in the ribs.
She looks up at her quick, ready to give her a harsh glare when she sees someone standing at the front of the room.
Her long dark hair flowing down her back and her bright green eyes more gorgeous then ever.
Aria couldn't believe it... Jenna was back, and look surprisingly amazing. She saunters to a desk and sits down. She glances over at Aria and smiles a little, winks, then looks away.
How dare she! How can she just break up with her, disappear, and then come back and make a move like that!?
"May I be excused" she says it as a demand more then a question as she gets up and walks out the room not waiting to be dismissed. Tears form in her hazel eyes as she walks down the hall.
She hears the clank of someone's size 6 heels not far behind her. She stops.
"What do you want Jenna?" She says not even bothering to turn around. She knew that she couldn't look at her and stay mad. She knew that if she looked into her big green eyes that she would melt and forgive her. But she couldn't.
"I... I came to apologize Aria. For everything, everything I ever did to hurt you.. I never meant to hurt you okay..." Jenna's voice cracks and Aria's heart breaks. "I love you so much but there are things I can't tell you and reasons why I broke up with you last month... Things that you won't understand." Tears fall down Aria's face as she turns and faces Jenna.
She knew it... She knew that she would forgive and forget when she saw her beautiful face. She looked even more beautiful after everything she's been through.
"Tell me then.. Tell me everything Jenna" Aria says.
"Don't you understand?" Jenna replies as tears fall. "If I tell you someone will hurt me... Or even worse... You. And I can't let that happen baby..."
Aria walks to her and kisses her softly. She feels Jenna try to break the kiss but doesn't let her escape it. She puts her hand on Jenna's cheek as Jenna begins to kiss her back.
Aria kisses her back with her tounge and presses her against the wall. Jenna moans softly and kisses her back. Tears still falling.
She loved Jenna and she missed her kisses so much that it almost hurt. She kisses her back passionately and runs her hands through Jenna's hair. She presses her body up against Jenna's, trapping Jenna between the wall and Aria.
"Ach-em..." The principal clears his throat.
They both jump apart quick and look at Principal Hacket.
"Principal Hacket... it's so nice to see you" aria starts to say but he cuts her off.
"My office, both of you, NOW" he says as he turns on his heel and walks to his office.
Jenna smirks at Aria and grabs her hand then walks into the office.
