Are your teeth clean and white? Do you brush them every night? ~ kid song to the tune of "Do Your Ears Hang Low"

Dean squeezed a tiny dab of Crest onto the bristles of a small toothbrush before handing the toothbrush to his three-year old little brother.

Sam accepted it and smiled up at him, excited about the "big boy privilege" of being allowed to brush his own teeth.

Dean smiled back, suspecting Sam was too young for this task but was willing to let the kid try after Sam had asked for the fourth night in a row.

Mr. I-Can-Do-It-Myself finally having the opportunity to do just that.

...even though experience had taught that the three-year old usually just made a mess with whatever he was attempting to do by himself.

Dean wrinkled his nose at the reminder, knowing he would be cleaning toothpaste off his little brother and the bathroom counter by the time this experiment was over.

But Sam was still beaming with anticipation...which meant there was no turning back now.

This was happening.

Dean sighed and reached for his own toothbrush, preparing to demonstrate how this was done as he stood beside his kid.

Sam watched Dean's every move, little brother mirroring big brother.

The three-year old unintentionally adorable and hilarious as he stretched his mouth impossibly wide, determined to scrub every tooth...and actually doing a pretty good job.

Dean smiled around his toothbrush, giving Sam a congratulatory wink before thumbing toothpaste foam off his little brother's chin.
