AN: I've been gone for awhile. I've had to reread the piece to properly get in the mind frame. Sorry for the wait. If you guys have to reread most of the chapters to understand context, I totally understand! Enjoy!

Percy didn't really know how to explain his dream. It wasn't really concrete, but it was a feeling. Percy understood that feelings are powerful. Feelings and emotions basically defined his existence today. Every decision and action was really placed on emotion and feeling. He didn't have any logic for anything. This was wrong. He couldn't walk this path he was following.
Why did he trust Rhea? It's simple. She filled the void that his mom had left once she was murdered. But why did he trust Hera? It's simple. She appealed to him now and she felt… Right. She had a game plan and he trusted her to an extent. That was only why he went through her outrageous plans. Even though he got caught, he could still trust her word over any of the Olympians. Why did he trust Piper? Exactly like Rhea. She filled the void that Annabeth left once she was dead to him. But she is technically dating Jason now. Gods, Percy hated Jason. He was what Percy was a couple years ago. He's a pawn for them and is the golden boy. Percy became disgusted that he was just a tool boy for their needs. But Piper was a sweet girl. She doesn't care about what gods think of her. In their eyes, she's just a pretty girl that's looped in the prophecy. No one really notices her potential. Not even Jason. Jason still feels the need to always be her bodyguard. But she's special, and Percy wouldn't forget that.
But why does he continually trust Reyna? She had cut his hand off for gods sake. Though Hephaestus did a good job of making the hand look as humanly as possible, Percy couldn't really wrap his head around Reyna.
She was a curious case. A Roman at heart, he could never really expect her change of heart. It all seems… Odd. Reyna would do anything for the glory of the gods. She could never truly betray them. Percy couldn't believe anything anymore. He trusted Reyna, but now his conscience was messing with him. Does he really want to take that chance at letting his guard down? For a girl? A special one, obviously, but he needed to take precautions with Reyna.
Percy sighed. He could only trust Thalia and Clarisse. He sensed they were captured. His powers learned from the Titans is slowly diminishing though. He doesn't really want to fight for Kronos or for the Olympians. He truly is a wild card and he's pondering whether the Olympians are recruiting him for the next cause. Probably as a slave. Even though his old job with them was pretty much an over-glorified servant. His powers, on the other hand were slowly fading. He couldn't really summon fire or lightning from his fingertips anymore. He could really only deflect them. He had tried this earlier while in his room. Maybe the room had blocked all his powers, but he doubted it. He hypothesized that his powers are locked. Maybe only until he rejoins the Titans.
But he's made his case to Kronos clear. He doesn't get helpful visions from Kronos anymore. He only receives nightmares and messages to scare him. Though Kronos' powers are really strong, that can correspond to his powers. Percy still has the power to slow down time which was really useful. Kronos probably feels like a fool for teaching him a sliver of his art.
Just then, after an eternity of waiting, a door opening. A familiar face walked through, but was only met with disdain. It was Percy's old protector. His old best friend. It was Grover.

Percy had been attacked by a bathing towel that he used to wipe his sweat off from his dream.
"Wipe yourself off. You literally look disgusting." Grover added.
After Percy wiped every single part of his body (even those parts haha), he proceeded to receive deodorant and some breakfast. Grover impatiently waited and he stomped his foot repeatedly with arms crossed.
Percy didn't really know to trust the Olympians, but if he wasn't wanted, he would have been killed. They need him for something, he thought quietly. He knew Grover couldn't hear him. That empathy link was long severed after the Mount Olympus incident that started it all.
Percy hastily ate his breakfast, still showing the signs that he showed back in Camp Half-Blood. The gods didn't really make his food blue, which saddened him internally, but that didn't matter anymore. Nothing could compare to his mom's cooking.
Grover chuckled silently watching Percy eat. He missed his best friend, but he knew he was a traitor and couldn't converse as they could before.
Percy looked up at Grover's chuckling and smiled before Grover's chuckling became a stern face.
"Hurry up. The Olympians demand your presence." Grover said. "They know about your dream last night and wanted you to tell them more."
Percy paused his rapid eating and looked up curiously. "They know about my dream?"
Grover nodded, but refused to look into Percy's eyes with care. He still cared about him, traitor or not. Looking into Percy's eyes could sway him much more than he realized.
"Yeah, Morpheus felt a disturbance in his realm and pinpointed it to you. He saw it was unpleasant, but this dream was too powerful for his control. He couldn't decipher any of it." Grover continued.
"Anyways, I got some satyr council things to do. You can let yourself out. You know the way, but any false move, you'd be punished harshly. Do you understand?" Grover asserted.
Percy nodded again with apprehension. Were they really letting him leave the prison unattended? He knew bodyguards were around, but this was a perfect way to find escape routes if he was ever back here.
Grover left after finishing his commands. "If only things were different." Grover said silently before leaving.
Percy found a new pair of clothes pop on his nightstand, obviously something from the gods so he doesn't look like street trash. Percy changed before breathing. He took a step out of the prison with caution. He looked around after making a couple steps to assure he wasn't being followed.
Percy knew it was smart to not tamper or explore wanderlessly. He didn't want to piss anyone off right now. He wasn't simply in the mood. After he left, he was surprised to see that he wasn't far from Olympus. He took a stroll and took his time. He made sure to take the longest route possible. And for once, everything seemed calm. He didn't worry about the imminent war or any of that. It was good to take some time and just walk. He slipped his hands in his pockets and walked. He felt peaceful. He felt safe.

The gods were fuming after letting Percy walk unattended. They knew he wasn't doing anything suspicious, just taking his sweet time making his way to the throne room. Zeus and most of the gods were furious and wanted to summon Hermes to fetch him, but the gods that sided with Percy assured him that this was for the best.
"Will someone please get Percy?" Zeus impatiently said.
Hera sighed. "Just let him be, Lord Zeus. This is his first time Perseus has had time to properly think. Us letting him have this time only strengthens our case. I think we might have him on our side again."
"Him on our side again? We don't want him as a loose cannon for us." Athena chimed in. "You still forget, Hera, he is a traitor. We all labeled him as one."
Zeus nodded. "Yes, just because we might have some use for him, we can't welcome him back all dandy like he didn't do anything. I will allow him to finish his walk, but that's about as nice as I'm going to get."
Hera shook her head. None of the Olympians understood him. Mainly Hestia and Hephaestus (she was aware of what he did for Percy). Hestia was always a favorite for Percy and she felt the same about him so nothing could persuade her to thinking differently. And Hera felt a new mindset for Hephaestus. He was already casted out as a defect and no one really liked him. He was always to himself. Maybe that's why he supports Percy. He has a new connection to Percy. Hera almost regrets throwing him off Mount Olympus as a baby. She sighed. Regretting the past will do nothing. The present is what is at stake.
Percy finally walked in, and the meeting commenced.
Line Break
Percy knew that he was taking too much time, but frankly he didn't care. If they wanted him immediately, they would have sent someone to hurry the process up. He knew that he was being watched. He knew it when he got captured. They lock up everything in Olympus. They knew every move. It was kinda creepy, and Percy remembered reading the book 1984. The most famous line was "Big Brother is watching you." In this it showed how people were forced to conform to the government's way and everything was watched. Normally, Percy wouldn't read a book just to read a book, but Annabeth had showed him the book and urged him to take a look.
Percy cringed. He hated Annabeth, yes, but he fondly remembered all the memories he had with her. It was weird, he was betrayed and he's gone through hell, literally, but he can never truly hate anyone. On the exception of Kronos and some immortals, but demigods? He knew they were conflicted. Everyone has a story, he realized. Maybe he misunderstood things along the way, but everyone is… Truly good. Even him? Is Percy even truly good? What is the path that he wants to forge? This was a bad time for deep thinking. He was on the verge of a war and he predicted that he was be a huge part of it. He knew it too, he would be forced to join a side. And he was trying to figure out which side would benefit him the most. Screw benefits, what side will make him happy? Hera surely made it seem tempting for him, but Rhea with the Titans treated him well in the trainings of Tartarus.
Percy sighed. This would be so easier if he could just die. It may seem somber, but Percy had gone through it many times. He could easier plunge his abdomen with a sword and be done with it. He knew it was harder than that. The Fates had woven his fate so complex, no one can interpret it. Dying seppuku style wasn't an option. He wished he didn't had to fight in this way. He wished he was a regular kid instead of a demigod tossed around by prophecy.
Percy took a seat near a park bench and just placed his head in his hands. He was truly conflicted now. He would never be the same. He was never the same. He doesn't know what to do. He still wanted vengeance, but he was wondering if his happiness and vengeance can line up. The Olympians had treated him like complete dogshit. He wanted to show Annabeth and Luke and Jason his true power. He wanted them to feel only a little of his built up anger. But in the end, is vengeance truly worth it? Is it worth the repercussions that can line up? Percy didn't know, but he was destined to find out.
Line Break
Percy made his way to the throne room after a much needed pow wow to himself. He was really happy that he had opened his emotions up to himself. It gave him time to look at his options thoroughly. Percy felt better even after feeling conflicted a couple minutes ago. He made his way to the throne room, and proceeded to speak to the Olympians with respect, but not hailing them with nice remarks and formalities.
"Sorry for being late. It was a while since I had a walk and I thank you for not interrupting it." Percy's first remark had said. He walked in and took the only empty space designated for him in the middle. It was probably one of those chairs that forced you to face the god that was talking at that moment.
And it was. The chair was positioned first facing Hestia. She was tending her hearth, as expected, but didn't really had a designated seat. That angered Perseus, he would have to say something about later. She gave him a reassuring smile, which calmed his heart down. He noticed something. His heart was beating faster as time progressed. Hestia's smile only gave Percy new life and courage to face the gods.
Percy then rotated to Zeus, who proceeded to talk.
"We know of your dream you had yesterday. Tell us more about this dream." Zeus exclaimed with power and slammed his lightning bolt down, signaling for Percy his time to talk was now.
"Uh…" Percy's eyes began to wander. He wanted to address all the gods, but he was forced to look at Zeus. "Well, I got a dream from Kronos last night."
His chair turned to Athena. "SO, you are still communicating with Kronos?" She asked the question while putting the information into her mind.
"Well, it's not like that… It's.." Percy continued.
He was cut off by Ares and his chair swiveled. "So is he giving you plans on how to DESTROY US?" He roared in laughter. "As if!"
Percy was getting frustrated. He was continually getting interrupted. "Well, I mean I don't communicate with Kronos anymore." Percy answered Athena's question. "But he sometimes comes and tortures me in my dreams."
No one really gave him sympathy, but his chair swiveled to Hera.
"Well, Perseus, what did the dream consist of last night?" Hera asked gentle, but assertive.
Percy didn't know whether to trust Hera or like her. She led him to many traps, including the Camp Half-Blood and the Mount Olympus attack. But he didn't really have fans, so he decided to answer her the politest.
"Well, Lady Hera, it was vague, but it is crucial." Percy added. "I know you all don't trust me and whatever, but what I'm saying is the truth and you can take it with a grain of salt or whatever, but I'm saying what I think is right."
No one talked. Just waited for him to talk.
"Straight forth, the Titans are mobilizing. They are coming again." Percy said.
Gods were arguing saying how that was impossible and how that was improbable. Zeus put a hand up, silencing the crowd, but his chair turned to Athena.
"If your allegations are true, where will they be attacking?" Athena asked.
Percy was stumped. He didn't really know where they were. Kronos probably left that out on purpose so that he could scare Percy. He scared him, but Kronos didn't give him the option to prepare.
"Well, I'm not so sure where they are attacking…" Percy said slowly, careful with his words. "I just know they are attacking. I don't know when or where, but it's going to happen."
The chair turned to Artemis. "That is highly unlikely. My Hunters have been scourging America, watching for signs of disturbance, and have not found any close to that and they saw an attack is highly unlikely."
Percy breathed. "Maybe it's the calm before the storm? Wouldn't monsters keep continually spawning? If you haven't had that many disturbances, wouldn't they be stocking their attack?"
Athena whispered into Zeus's ear and he nodded. The chair turned to him. "I don't think we should continue to speak to your about our plans. We don't want you to know anything. You have to tell us your plans."
"My plans or Kronos?" Percy asked.
The chair turned back to Ares. "Po-tato, po-ta-to. You both have the same plans, traitor, and I would ram my sword into…"
"That's enough, Ares." Poseidon said. Percy was surprised. He didn't realize his father didn't say anything till now. The chair turned to Poseidon and Percy looked into his father's eyes with disgust.
"What are your plans, exactly?" Poseidon asked. "Answer carefully." Poseidon paid no mind that this was his old son, but as a POW.
Percy didn't answer. "I have no idea." And he left off with that.
Apollo chimed in, but Percy's chair didn't turn. "Maybe what Perseus is saying is correct, but I don't think we should focus on him. We can use this to our advantage."
Percy was confused, but didn't really care. The gods were incompetent as usual. They relied on heroes to get the job done. They just commanded. No dirty work. The gods put a barrier around Percy so that he couldn't hear their conversation.
He just stared at Poseidon, unpleasantly. He looked away, and he could see Poseidon's face slowly sadden at the sight. Percy noticed this, but he couldn't take that as anything. The gods kept talking and after a while and the barrier came down after a couple of minutes.
Zeus gave the final word. "We have searched your mind for the truth, and we have come to a consensus that your word is taken truthfully."
Percy sighed in relief. He didn't want to be in any more hot water. He still hated the Olympians, but he didn't want to get on their bad side while he was vulnerable.
"But!" Zeus continued.
Percy groaned. Buts are always the worst.
"You will be kept here in solitude as a hostage. If the Titans are really coming, we assure it will be to recollect you first." Zeus continued. "And you will have no contact with the outside world."
Percy was sad. He expected this, but he began to think about ways to save Thalia and Clarisse. They were his team and he needed to be with them. Percy took his sentence before he was taken away… He would have to act hastily. He wanted to keep on the DL in order to escape.
Percy left without any restrictions and escorted himself back to his room.
After he left, the gods waited about 30 seconds to make sure he was gone.
"We need to control him," Athena stated. "He can't be against us. He's too powerful for any of our children."
Apollo also popped in. "We'll need him in the battle against Gaia. If he sees us as a threat, he'll just be a prisoner."
"You already called him a hostage." Hestia added. The gods were befuddled as Hestia never interrupted a conversation.
"He already feels unwelcome. He has no place to belong. He didn't work out with the Titans and you all have gave your share on the matter." Hestia continued. "In order for him to work out with us, we need to treat him like he's one of us instead of a prisoner of war."
Athena pondered on this. She knew that Percy would feel hate towards the Olympians if they jailed him up. Percy thrives on social interactions, well the Percy they all had a grasp of was. He had changed, yes, but Athena doesn't believe everything was a ruse with Percy. His personality showed even throughout his traitorship.
"I think it would be wise if we personally put someone to oversee him and to converse with him. We want him to feel welcomed, but we don't want him to overstay this… situation." Athena began.
She was thinking rapidly which demigod on Olympus was most likely to succeed in this task. It would have to be one from the 7. Athena wouldn't choose Luke, Annabeth, Jason or Leo as they all despise Percy and would stab him the first second they are alone with him. Athena believed either Hazel Levesque or Frank Zhang would round out the last of the 7. Athena still had no idea on the definite list of the 7 from the prophecy, but she was certain on either Reyna or Piper.
"I propose we assign one of the females from the 7 to oversee Percy until we have made modifications to our war plans." Athena started. "I would recommend either Reyna or Piper to be his guardian. Does anyone oppose?"
No Olympian shook their head against the wisdom goddess. If she said it, they agreed with him most of the time. Even Poseidon was level-headed to agree to this.
"Well, alright, who shall it be?" Athena asked.
Even though this may benefit the Olympians or completely backfire, Athena had to wonder:
Whose side was Percy on?

AN: It's been about a year, but I'm back for at least another chapter. I don't think I'll be consistent as I was, but this story has been on my mind ever since I returned on this site.
Whoever the person watching Percy in the story (Reyna or Piper), this will be dramatic and very crucial to this story. I'm going to leave it at that. Anyways, you guys will vote on it, and once I feel a good number has voted (in the reviews), then I'll start writing next chapter.
Sorry for the year and a month hiatus. I've literally done a lot of things regarding myself. Nothing bad, I'm still normal, but I needed a break and after school, I just focused on summer and… More school.
To all the old readers, if you might have grown distasteful in my hiatus, I apologize. I made a promise to finish this story and I intend to finish it. If it takes me another 2 months to finish it or another 2 years, I will finish this story! You have my word. Anyways, if anything is confusing pertaining to the story, DM me. I will happily answer your questions without spoiling anything. I even had to read my story again to write things that were logical.
SO. The story has taken a turn.
Percy had begun to take a crossroads. I've hinted at this throughout a lot of chapters. Percy does not know what side he's on. He still has the trauma from Tartarus, (this will be retouched on), he still has the hate for the Olympians (though it may have lessened), but he is caught on his emotions vs. Logic. Does he go with his brain or his heart. This is overall, one of the many themes in this.
See you soon.
