Unlocking the Frozen Flame - Chapter 15 - A Happy Ending - Final Chapter

Natsu x Ur

Natsu goes on a job and finds Ur frozen. So of course Natsu defreezes Ur and helps her heal. Things start to happened and once Ur wakes up.. Ur claims her own private dragon slayer. Gray is beyond pissed and things are starting to happen..

Her heart throbbed as it was robbing herself of her own breath. She could feel her palms getting sweatier and her vision swaying. Why? She was worried, maybe she was going to fast. Maybe this wasn't the right time, just maybe this will mess up everything. If this didn't go well, it could mess up this relationship. 'Why.. am I freaking out like a little girl?!' Ur thought to herself as she stared into the mans onyx eyes. She wasn't some little girl that would freak out like this.. but here she was. A adult women going nuts over someone she had fallen over like a girl crushing on a guy. She tightened her hand and could feel her body practically shaking. She really was.. afraid of this going bad.

Even though due to her being frozen in ice for a extended period of time, seeing her mother who was now almost the same age as she was shaking was a bit worrying some. The women in front of her who always acted proudly and strong was in a nervous wreck that couldn't function right. But who could blame her? Her own heart kept fluttering and pulsing. The man she liked, was sitting there shirtless while showing off his rock hard detailing abs while trying to figure out if they were sick of all things. Yes.. he was a tad dense at times, but was still a good man, and lover. She had uttermost respect for him and how he acted and fought for his family.

Ultear softly bit her lip as she became nervous. Around her the spruce wooden floor boards, white counter, and cabinets were kept tidally from Mirajane's cleaning and motherly nature. The window was closed but blinds opened to let the new day light to shine into the room that now lit up the room with its warm rays of sun. There was 2 beds in the room, one neatly made, and the other messy where Natsu had been sleeping. The only two chairs were around Natsu's temporary bed that both herself and Ur was on as they stayed by the dragon slayers side all night. The brown room door was closed as it left them in a private room to talk while people were probably slowly entering the guild hall for the new day. She continued to look around the room, yeah she was nervous. She couldn't keep focused on anything.

Ur opened her mouth to speak, but only a small squeak came out, and instantly she closed her mouth as her cheeks grew even redder from embarrassment. Her heart fluttered and her eyes kept being drawn to Natsu's. Her heart felt like it was melting in molten hot lava as Natsus eyes met hers and she just wanted to scream out like a happy little child. She really couldn't do it.. here she was, the perfect time was now, and yet.. she couldn't say it. 'I.. want.. you.. Natsu Dragneel.' Ur thought to herself. Those were the words she wanted to say.

'No.. those aren't..' Ur thought once more. Her heart was beating faster. Those weren't the correct words. Was it wrong of her to want something that felt unreachable? Was it wrong for her to want this man? No, it wasn't. What did she want to say? Her heart knew, her mind knew. But her lips didn't. Every time she tried to speak, they quivered, and she would end up holding her breath. Then a awkward sound would come out of her lips and she's become embarrassed to speak again till she got her courage back.

"I love you Natsu.." Ur whispered aloud, not realizing she didn't say that in her head. 'Yes.. those are the words I want to say to him, but why can't I?' Ur sighed. With her emotions being pulled every way, she didn't know what to do. She was being tugged every way as she tried to follow the path she wanted to go down. But as she got to the fork in the round that was her heart, she didn't know what to do. She wanted to tell the man those words to him so badly. But yet again her mouth acted as if it wasn't working.

Ultear could tell that her mother was having issues. But made her begin to suddenly giggle was the words that were whispered out of her mouth. Was she even aware that she just said that aloud? It seemed as if it was most likely not, but she was about to be in for a rude awakening as she saw Natsu. It seemed as if he heard it loud and clear with his dragon like hearing. Ultear saw the smirk across his lips and could only guess that the dragon slayer was about to something.

Those words.. he wanted to hear them o so badly as well. He had fallen hard. The way she stood tall, fought, and her heart loved. So many charisestics that were kinda similar to his own. Back when they had first met as he unlocked her from that ice formation was probably one of his happiest days. Never had seen someone like her, never had he a sometimes dense man fallen for such a women that could make his heart skip a beat by just swaying her body and talking. His heart ached, and from what he learned over the years about this word called love.. he knew what this feeling was.

Natsu slowly moved in as he noticed Ur breath a hard breath of frustration and closed her eyes. He made sure to not say anything as he was planning on doing something sneaky. As he got his face right up to hers, he could feel her hot breath, and decided to dip in.

"Mmm!" Ur moaned at first as her eyes flashed open instantly to her disbelief. At first before she opened her eyes she had wondered what that warm soft feeling was against her lips. When her mind figured it out; she opened her eyes to see the man she loved right in front of her. Slowly she fell deep into the long needed kiss as her arms draped around Natsu's neck to keep him close as long as she could. The warmth radiated off of him as she could feel roll through her body; she could even feel it down to her bones.

Breath; she was losing it fast. She wanted to keep going, but it wasn't possible as she pulled apart and took a long deep breath. Ur began to giggle like a little girl being tickled by her mother as she saw the smile on Natsu's breath. 'Warmth.. and smoke. Guess that's what you really taste like.' Ur thought and still wondered why he had done that. She hasn't even told him anything yet and she could only guess that he would becoming inpatient soon.

Suddenly Natsu began to laugh as he laid back from where he was sitting Indian style. Once he did he looked up he saw Ultear's face peering down at him and trying to figure out why he had been laughing. "Yo." Natsu told Ultear with a piece sign made with two his right fingers. He watched at Ultear eyebrows scrunch in confusion and a cute smile cross her lips with a giggle of her own. Suddenly Natsu decided to raise with his hands and place them on the women's face that was looking down at him.

"Nats-..mm!?" Ultear begun to say but was interrupted by Natsu's strength pulled her down to have red ruby lips connect with his own. Beyond disbelieving surprised, she was there feeling a new feeling that she was quickly becoming addicted to. Warmth pulsed and suddenly ran at high speeds through her body. She could feel it in every ounce of her body, from her toes to her fingers. Her heart, rocketed even faster then it was over as it went into overdrive and began to melt down. Every barrier she had put up in her life to protect herself was being broken down by this man kissing her. Every protection she had melted away by him and her urges of not just loving this man changed. Now she wanted him, no. She needed him in her life.

'You always know what to do. It's like in any situation your a lot smarter then you let out and know how to make anyone smile.' Ur thought to herself as she saw Natsu pull her daughter into himself. She four inured to giggle and smile with happiness for her as she was glad she finally had someone. She could easily tell from the way she was resting on him that she was in heaven. Hell, it looked like she was in a shock of pleasure from the ways he was grilling the blanket under him.

"Why?" Ur asked as she heard a gasp. Her daughter was forced to pull back her head and she began to breath heavily. She was still in heaven it seemed as she rose her head and looked back down at Natsu with her cheeks bright red due to her blush.

"Hmm..?" Natsu replied back as he pulled himself back up slowly and steadily due to his injuries. Once up, he stared right into Ur's sparkling eyes as he tried to understand what she had meant.

"Why?" Ur asking again. She wanted to why he had just suddenly kissed her. How was he able to tell? "Why did you suddenly kiss me?" Ur asked and explained to Natsu as she watched him begin chuckle.

"Well you said that you loved me, thought when you love someone you can kiss them." Natsu explained his reasoning's normally without acting anything different them from how he normally did. He was scratching his head and now thinking maybe that it had been the wrong thing to do.

"W-what..? W-when did I.." Ur began to mumble as she became embarrassed and began to over think. 'I SAID THAT OUT LOUD?' Ur suddenly screamed inside of her head and leaned back in her chair as she gasped. Was it luck that she did this aloud or was it a horrible mistake? Though it seemed at the moment it worked for her.

"Now this is just going to become a awkward silent moment." Ultear huffed with her face still red from the hot kiss she had with Natsu. Even though her mind was on another entire planet at the moment, the room had grown to silent for her likings.

"Your right.. so are you going to say it?" Ur replied back to Ultear with a malicious smile. Right away she saw her daughters face freeze in place as she could practically see her trying to jump out of her seat and hide. She had officially told her lover that she was in love with him, even though it was not in the way she had wanted it to go. But now it was her daughters turn to announce her feelings for a certain dragon slayer in the bed between them.

"I.. um.." Ultear began to stutter. Could she say it? Would her heard be broken or be thrown away like how the world always treated her? 'No.. this is Natsu I'm thinking about..' Ultear thought inside of her head. Natsu Dragneel, a man with courage, a heart, and the ability to fight back against any one who ever challenges him. He wasn't the brightest, but he was still a man that she trusted with herself, and her life.

Her mind was now working over time as she quickly licked her lips as she was trying to get rid of the dry feeling on her lips that she was now getting. Her heart rate was soaring and now she was figuring with her hand as goose bumps appeared in her smooth skin.

"Natsu.." Ultear whispered and suddenly jumped forward as her two arms wrapped around his back and she snuggled her head straight onto his chest without revealing her face. She was far to embarrassed to actually say it, but deep down.. she lusted for it.

'I can do this..' Ultear thought as she could feel her heart beat in her throat as she swallowed hard. She could feel the warmth difference due to her cheek touching Natsu's muscular chest. Her mind rolled over as she took a deep breath and sighed.

"I love you Natsu." Ultear whispered at the bottom of her breath. Her eyes couldn't focus on anything, her breathing was ragged as if she just ran a marathon, and she was hoping Natsu wouldn't of heard it. But at the same time she knew deep down he would, his hears could always hear anything; even a leaf falling down in the drifting wind.

With a smile forming on his lips and his salmon spiky hair covering his eyes, his heart was beating hard. This.. was true happiness. Emotion was at every corner and the two people around him truly cared for him. This wasn't the same love of loving a comrade, this was the love of wanting to be with this person for the rest of there life.

"Huh?"

"Eep."

Both females slightly gasped and squeaked as suddenly a hand grabbed each of there sides and pulled them up out of there chairs and into the bed with the dragon slayer. Then they were almost crushed by a warm hug as both of there heads rested on his chest as they sighed with a happy smile on each of there faces.

Confessions were always hard to make. There wasn't anything easy about them and the most you could ever do was confess and hope it goes will or bites you in your but. Luckily for both sides, they wasn't even a need to worry. Both girls were happy and know had let Natsu Dragneel, the man they adored known that they had loved him. Now.. there was only one confession still left to announce and it was a dense males turn to say something.

At the moment he already knew both women could feel his hurt beating fast, almost bursting out of his chest. The best thing for him to do was to keep holding onto the two people he loved more then anything. 'Ur.. Ultear..' Natsu thought to himself. Never was he scared.. most times he never knew why to say and just let the words come naturally to him when certain moments happened. He always stood tall without a fear and never wanted to see someone from his family hurt. The two women in his arms were his treasure, just as much as his scarf that was forever wrapped around his neck.

"Sometimes I mess up and I will probably either say or do some stupid things." Natsu began as he sighed to himself and decided what the hell, just let the word come. "Something I know.. are that I want to be with both of you, I want to be there for you both always, and be by both of your sides. Most times I'm not to sure how to always do that, but I want to be there." Natsu explained as he closed his eyes and felt as if massive boulders of weights were being taken off his heart slowly by surly.

"I also know most people think I'm pretty dense an stupid at times, but I don't try to be. I want to be there for you both, my heart thinks so also." Natsu began again as he took a deep breath to calm his racing heart that was finally heading back to its normal rate. Yeah, it wasn't just his imagination. When ever he thought about these two women his heart fluttered. Back with his fight against Boreas, he stood there, and fought to protect them both. Not just as comrade though, but because of how much he wanted to. It drove him to go all out and show that monster how truly powerful he was.

"Natsu.." Ur whispered as she looked up to Natsu's face. His eyes were closed and resting. She could feel his heart beat with her hand slightly resting on his chest as she herself was on the verge of tears of happiness.

She couldn't say a word. She was awestruck from his words as her cheeks stayed pink from her raging blush that hadn't even calmed down yet. Ultear so badly wanted to just grab him and pull him into a wet hot kiss.

"Ur.. Ultear.. thank you." Natsu whispered softly. This is what it felt like. With butterfly's in his stomach and goosebumps on his skin. He was ready. For the last 6 months since unlocking Ur from that ice.. it had changed him in so many ways. So many adventures in that little amount of time. So much learning, it felt like he had ages 10 years in the mere 6 months. Yes, it was so short amount of time to say these particular words. But he knew they were the right ones to say.

"Ur.. Ultear.." Natsu whispered. He always had courage, but this one time it was far away in the mountains where Igneel was probably hiding at. "Ur.. Ultear.. thank you so much. The adventures and the fun things." Natsu began as he recountered over all of them. Finding out Ultear got pissed off at him for going on a date with Ur and eating a tub of ice cream. Waking up with a naked Ur in his bed due to her accidentally striping which she thought she had made sure she stopped. There first missions. Running into Ultear and her now following them around with blushed cheeks. So many memories, they were so wonderful.

"Ur.. Ultear.. I love you."

As If the world went silent. You could probably here a pin hitting the ground if you wanted to. Those words were the entire world of things she couldn't comprehend. Her body didn't know how to react, Ur could only feel the tears begin to streak down her face as she used her nose to push against Natsu's. Not giving him a second she pushed forward and captured his warm soft lips with her own red ones.

This.. was happiness. Something she had always wanted. Her first love was a disaster, but now this was right. The past was slowly fading as a new chapter was being opened, a chapter were there will be no sour moment, and no tragedies to come. There will be only happiness and love.

Boreas had been defeated and now will be forever locked up for the rest of the days to come. Those memories were now slowly being erased and forgotten as her new ones paved over them. Her realtionship was a some what weird one as her lover didn't just have one lover, he had two. But that was alright. All was happy and her heart couldn't stop enjoying her life.

Ultear didn't know what to say. Her past was sour and horrid. Natsu was her light, a flame red hot fire burning through her black night. When the fire should have been burnt out.. it didn't. Instead it grew larger and warmer, it let her begin to see around her as thins began to change. Her sins were slowly disappearing.

Finally and surprisingly. A flame that was covered in ice stood there. There wasn't one, but two. He could see the flames burning and wanting to be released. The blue ice like fire burned and scraped at the ice that somehow magically held it. Slowly though, a man with salmon hair walked up to it. He lit both of his hands on fire and those red hot flames slowly melted the ice as it disappeared. Once two holes were made, one in each ice formation he opened his hand. He placed a hand next to each open hole and slowly watched as both frozen flames crawl forward to see its barriers open. Gladly with hope as the cold flames began to grow and come out, they jumped into hand with glee.

With that they disappeared as they happily connected with the man who had saved them.

Natsu had unlocked the Frozen Flame.

Kids began to run by there teacher as they giggled and laughed all around. They were enjoying the short winter day and excited to once again be training there magic as they hoped one day to become strong magical wizards like there parents. They all hoped they could cast magic like there parents even though they all had only 1 similar magic and 1 different type of magic they could use. Some were happy that they could and would use it to tease there friends.

There magic they were all learning together? Ice-Make Magic; the type of magic they all had flowing through there blood. From either there mother or there father. A few knew who it was from, others couldn't easily tell. Although they were happy to learn, there came one large issues surrounding it all. Like all Ice-Make mages.. there cloths magically disappeared in a blink of an eye. Though that might of been due to how there teacher taught them.

"Enjoy the time while it lasts, we will begin training again in a few minutes."

She watched as all the children running around sighed as they heard her announcement. It was only roughly nine in the morning of a blue filled sky without a cloud in sight. The ground had fresh white snow like clouds on the ground as they walked through it to reach there training grounds; a open field. Ur sighed to herself with a smile. She watched her very own child; a child that she was able fully watch and protect as she grew up. The mistake of losing Ultear at a young age would never happen again.

Ur looked over and saw Ultear's child standing next to her own. Since they were born, both children always were around each other. Maybe that was due to them both being girls, but she had a feeling it was because they were basically sisters due to how close they were. She looked at what both girls were looking at and couldn't stop but laugh. They were watching to boys fighting and some how they had both stripped down to there boxers. Both of the were wrestling in the snow.

'Gray's and Lyon's are already rivals, why am I need surprised.' Ur thought to herself as she smiled. Her four students; Fuyu, Aki, Silver, and Fynn.

Fuyu was her own daughter that she had with Natsu, her husband, and received her name due to Natsu's name. Natsu means summer and the opposite of that was Fuyu which means winter. She was winter due to her being born on the first day of winter; December 21st and that it was similar to Natsu name. She had dark purple hair like her mother but had onyx gray eyes like her father. She could use a strong Ice-Make magic and could tap into Fire Dragon Slayer magic that her father was teaching her. She was also the oldest of the 4 and was 6 years old. Of the four, she would be the first to become a Fairy Tail Mage.

The second girl who was like a sister to Fuyu was Aki. Aki was 5 years old, a year younger then Fuyu, and was Natsu's and Ultear's daughter. She had pink hair like her father that suited her with her brown eyes from her mother. She was born on September 23rd which surprised them all as it was the first day of fall and was just when the temperature began to fall. So similar to Natsu's name, Aki recovered her name which also means the season fall. Even though she was a year younger then Fuyu, she was learning magic, and trying to grow strong. She used Ice-Make magic, only a part of arc of time, and small bits of fire dragon slayer magic so far. Even though she knew and could use three types of magic, all three types were equal in power for her self.

Grays child that he had with Juvia after so long was already fighting with the other boy who was Lyon's son. Gray's son was named Silver like his his grandfather or Gray's father. He was like Aki in age and only 5 years old so far. His hair was jet black like his fathers. He was learning Ice-Make Magic with the other kids and it was much easier for me due to also being able to control water fluidly like his mother.

The last and final child that Ur was teaching was Fynn. At the moment he was off and busy fighting Silver as they head butted each other. Fynn had white hair similar to his father who was Lyon, Gray's rival since young. He was also the fourth and final child learning Ice-Make Magic under the teachings of Ur.

Ur watched all four children go about and prepare themselves for there training to come. Each of them were doing something different, some stretching, and others getting excited. Her mind wandered as she watched them and slightly giggled as she remembered them learning that she was also Gray's and Lyon's teacher. At first all four children thought she was very old, but after explaining what happened that kept her the same age they slightly understood it a tad better. But of course they were still rather confused over the ordeal.

'Well I guess it's time.' Ur thought to herself as she sighed over thinking about the memory. Even though it was still morning, it was now time to train these kids to top shape. They wanted to learn Ice-Make Magic like there parents, so they were going to now, and of course the hard way just like them.

"Alright.. I think it's about time we start." Ur explained aloud as all 4 of the kids eyes instantly looked over to her. With an instant the only logical thing happened, that was sadly similar to all of there parents. Clothing was hitting the snowy ground as all 4 kids had smiles on there face without realizing what had happened.. yet.

"Today, we will be doing two handed ice-make magic casting to try to perfect it. As you know last week was almost all your first times trying it. Now we will continue on that same thing.. of course after you all get dressed again." Ur began to explain her lesson for the today and suddenly all the kids eyes spread open even father.

Quickly as ever and embarrassing silence all four of them raced around looking for clothing. As they did she couldn't help but laugh and remember when she used to do that. Luckily it had taken her some time but she had finally been able to control it. Though it still did seem hard for her to keep her cloths on when Natsu was around.

'Times like these.. I'm happy to be alive..' Ur thought once again as the children in front of her ran around grabbing there clothing as there teacher sighed and began to walk over to fallen log to sit and wait. These days she's been relaxing as she watched her own child and students grow up. Every part of her life was happy, there were no worries, and the only thing she had to do was care about her own little one.

"Thank you.. Natsu." Ur whispered into the wind that passed her as she looked back up towards the sky.. it was a beautiful day.

This.. Was a bit late. Sorry, got trapped by school, and work. But.. This story is now completed. This story has done a lot more then you think for me. It has taught me to develop my characters I write and how to bring out some more emotion.

This story was originally meant to be a single chapter one shot.. Now it's turned into a full story of emotion that I've tried to build! So over all, thank you a million times!
