(A/N:) Shout out to Vidgealz C Valvatore for the idea of a poem about Loki's feelings towards Sif and The Warriors Three. This poem is inspired from the scene of when they first discover Loki on the throne and he says, "My friends..." (hence, the title). That scene always frustrated me, because Frigga GAVE the throne to Loki. It was rightfully his, but they got mad because he wasn't a pretty blonde thug.
Okay, enough of my ranting. Enjoy and please review!
MY FRIENDS
"My friends," Loki says,
The words dripping with scorn,
Because in this little phrase,
So much irony was born,
Even in their childhood,
They always seemed to be at odds.
Now Loki finally admitted the truth,
They were not friends, but frauds.
With Loki residing on the throne,
The four Asgardians knelt,
But not out of reverence and respect,
Hate was all they felt.
And so they turned on Loki,
Him, they would never aid,
And by his very 'friends',
The rightful king was betrayed.
He was never one of them,
Now it was all too clear,
He knew that him they'd never love,
So instead, they shall fear.
They are not my friends, he thought,
Now they've all crossed the line.
They love and follow Thor.
Thor's friends, never mine.
