Okay. Woooo! Last chapter! That means that my next fanfic will be up soon. Well, knowing me, not soon. I'm such a slow writer. Sorry for probable suckiness. So yeah. Let May's plan UNFOLD!

It seemed like May only got off the phone in her sleep. May and Drew had an agreement that when May was well enough, they'd start travelling together, because according to Drew;

"You won't last a day in the wild without me." May decided not to argue because even though she knew she could, she was in no state to fight him over it. After they had dismounted the Pokemon in the early morning, it became clear that Giovanni had tied the ropes so tightly that May could barely stand, let alone walk. But the second they got back to the pokemon center and helped May into a wheelchair, she was off like a shot. Nobody could pull her away from the phone, or the phone-book. Drew, Harley, Brianna and Solidad all sat a table, watching May.

"Well Mr. Drew, she's cracked. Now you've gotta love ME!" Brianna leaned across the table, her lips puckered up. In a flash, May had wheelchaired over and used Sky Uppercut.

"It's super effective." May said to Brianna scathingly. Then she was back at the phone before Drew could thank her.

"Maybe the pink and orange one has a point?" Harley said to Drew tentatively.

"What, that I have to love her?" Drew asked, shocked.

"No, no, no silly! I mean-" He lowered his voice and Drew and Solidad leaned in. "Maybe she HAS cracked." Solidad looked at Harley like he was something she had just scraped off her shoe.

"You mean you think May's insane?" Harley nodded.

"No." Drew said angrily. "She's stressed. I don't know why she's always on the phone but-"

"DONE!" May pushed back from the phone with her hands in the air. As she was in a wheelchair, she slid across the floor all the way to the table they were huddled around.

"Hi May." Drew said grumpily.

"Hiiiiii Drew! Okay." She was suddenly very serious. "Solidad. Harley." They looked at each other guiltily. "You had a competition to get us together." Drew looked shocked.

"Say what now?!" He asked. They both turned to stare down Solidad and Harley, who were growing visbly uncomfortorable.

"Well?" May asked. "I'm waiting!"

"I-it was Harley's idea!"

"You agreed to it!"

"You could have stopped me!"

"It was my idea!"

"Well I agreed to it!"

"I could have stopped you!"

"See! I was right, you could have!" Solidad and Harley somehow got into a "Catfight" With heads turned away and arms flailing in front of them. May and Drew sweatdropped. May suddenly had an idea.

"Now kiss!" She said decisively. That stopped them. arms frozen, they turned to look at her.

"What?" May grinned.

"You heard me. Kiss." Drew tapped her on the shoulder.

"May…"

"Shush Drew, I've got this." She smiled sweetly at Harley and Solidad. "Quite frankly, I think that after what you put us through trying to get us together, you owe us."

"Leave me out of it." Drew said grumpily, standing up to leave.

"Stay here Drew." She hissed "Look mournful and dejected."

"I'm mournful that you won't let me leave."

"Just kiss." Solidad and Harley looked at each other and blushed. May cheered.

"I was right! I was RIGHT!"

"What?" Solidad asked, confused.

"You like each other!"

"Wait." Drew said, confused. "I thought Harley was gay? He mentioned it once."

"Nah. I'm bisexual."

"Okay. Good to know." Solidad said. May coughed and used it to disguise ducking under the table. Solidad and Harley were holding hands. May smiled to herself.

A while later, May was out of her wheelchair and the flying pokemon were fully recovered from the flight. Solidad and Harley were traveling together too, and Brianna was forever alone.

"We'll meet you guys in the next town, there's somewhere I want to take Drew." May smiled sneakily. And they walked away from Bonitaville.

"So… Where are you taking me?"

"You'll see." So they walked. And they talked about stupid things and weird things and things nobody cares about.

"We're here." May said suddenly, flinging an arm in front of Drew. "Wait here." She dissapeared into the underbrush.

"Okay Drew! Come here!"

"What's this about?" He said, pushing aside the branches and shoving his way into a little clearing. His eyes widened.

"Drew! We were so worried!" A woman with sparkling emerald eyes and floppy brown hair ran towrds him and tackled him in a bone-crushing hug.

"M-mom?!" He asked, shocked. May stood off to the side, watching this heartwarming scene. A man with spikey green hair and a purple tee-shirt with the team aqua logo on it clapped him on the shoulder.

"You've grown up so much, pumpkin!" Drew's mom was cying big blubbery tears.

"We had thought we'd lost you forever. We looked for you everywhere."

"Even in press clippings, but you must not have been a succesful trainer. Oh what am I saying, it doesn't matter. And you might have been, but just not in trainer's weekly."

"Uh, Mr. Hayden? Drew's not a trainer in that sense. He's a reasonably famous coordinator." May said tentatively.

"Oh. Well, that's better than nothing!"

"Are you going to make me come back and work for the teams again?" Drew asked, this complication having just occured to him.

"No. Your friend here drives a hard bargain. I wanted to at first, but she said she wouldn't tell me where you were if I took you away." Mr. Hayden smiled at his ex-wife and son.

"You should have told us that you didn't want to bounce back and forth! You could have lived with your mother and seen me on holidays." Drew nodded.

"I was young. I was scared." He admitted. "But are we okay now?"

"Of course." His mom let go of him for the first time in the whole meeting. They stood back and smiled at him.

"Look how much you've grown!" Drew's father said, beaming.

And Drew and his parents started making up for the lost four or so years.

They talked and talked until sunset. When the light started to fade, May came over. She had been practicing her contest routine in an adjoining clearing.

"Drew? Mr. Hayden? Ms. Uhh, sorry. I don't know what you go by-"

"I go by my maiden name, Young."

"Right. Well, it's getting dark, and you two promised the teams you'd be back in Hoenn tomorrow. You have to catch the last ferry home." Mr. Hayden smacked his forehead.

"Codswallop, you're right! Drew, amazing to see you again son." He stood up and ran out of the clearing.

"Sweetie…"

"I'll be fine mom. You get back to team Magma." She nodded with tears in her eyes, planted a kiss on his cheek and ran from the clearing.

"That was better than the day I won my first ribbon." Drew said, rubbing his cheek.

"I wanted you to know that I DO care about you."

"Oh, I knew that." He pulled out a rose. "Here." He handed it to her. May threw her arms around him. It only took a second for Drew to hug her back.

"I wish we could be more than rivals…" She whispered.

"What was that May?"

"Nothing, nothing. Let's go to that next contest!"

"Ha! I'll beat you." He said with a flip of his hair.

"Fat chance, you already have one ribbon, I still have yet to win one!"

"Then let's go!" May, feeling brave, took his hand. Drew did not pull away and they ran along the path to a new adventure.

YAAAAH! It's done! I'd like to thank, uh, people. I'll probably publish my new fanfic soon, the first chapter's nearly done. Yay 4 Contestshipping!
