She may not have shown it. But her heart... broke. It shattered. It's in a million peices. Nanue. She felt special with him. He trusted her right off the ice berg.

'He's gone... I wish I had told him.' The girl thought to herself.

Frost made it out of Arkham, but she had to play it low for a while though.

Frost found a place that was abandoned, but just recently because everything was in place, and clean. Using her ice abilities, she added own personal ice things and such.

She laid down on the master bed, and began to think. Right now, she just wanted to close her eyes, then open them to his red eyes, and goofy skark toothed grin. A tear slid down her cheek, but only did it turn to a small sphere of ice. She lowered her body temperature to ninety-eight point six degrees Fahrenheit.

There was a rapping at the door. 'Who the hell could that be?' She asked annoyed and found a robe and towel that she use to wrap her hair and slip over her crime uniform.

Opening the door slowly, she saw what she wanted. She saw Nanue or King Shark.

"Settling in?" He asked in his deep, raspy voice

She couldn't speak. She was over joyed, and she jumped at him wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him tightly.

Nanue used one hand to wrap around her small waist. She meant so much to him. Though they had just met, he felt so strongly for the ice girl.

"Nanue..." She whispered through sobs of happiness. "B-But... I saw your head! It... you were dead."

Nanue slowly pulled her back. "Well, I'm not normal. I can regenerate any body part separated from my body."

She smiled. "I'm glad you are back." She said

"I'm glad I found you." Nanue said

Frost hugged him once more and sighed, "if you want you can stay here."

"Well... I actually planned on it." He said smiling sheepishly

She hugged him tighter, "I... I love you." She whispered

His keen hearing heard the three most simple but loving words he'd thought he'd never hear from her... I love you.

"I love you more.." He whispered.

"I love you most," Frost said

Louise and Nanue settled down that night. Falling asleep in the peace. Knowing that... they would always have eachother.
