As she brewed the cup of lavender tea, she heard a small rustling by the couch.
Looking over, she saw a flash of green, and inwardly sighed, knowing that Beast Bo6y must also be awake.
Of course he's up, he won't leave me alone during the day, so why leave me be at night?
As she poured the tea into her favorite mug and stirred the honey in, the rustling stopped.
She walked over to the couch, and instead of seeing an annoying green boy like she was expecting, she saw a small green kitten, curled up, trying to sleep.
Glare softening for just the slightest of seconds, she quickly turned and sat down at the table, rather than disturb the green creature.
After she had finished her cup of tea, she walked over to the couch to check on him, and she noticed that he had shifted back into a human, and was murmuring in his sleep.
She listened for a few moments, and then, blushing slightly, she walked back to her room, leaving the empty mug by the couch, for him to put away in the morning.
After that night, she was inexplicably polite to him. At least, for her.
And when they were married two years later, her vows mentioned his proposal... The one he made one night in his sleep, on the couch, while she drank tea.
Thank Azar for insomnia.
