I'm so sorry! So sorry for the last update. I was too lazy then I got writer's block, then I was busy with finals and now I'm free for the summer!

Thank you to those who still keep reading my story and to the new people who followed and favored. Next chapter will be up in three weeks..? More or less, around there. I will finish the story no matter what.

Well, I hope you guys like this one.

P.S. Even though I don't do a disclaimer, Imma do one now. I do not own Gargoyles. My brain ain't smart enough to make something amazing like Gargoyles.

Normal P.O.V

The sun barely sets in the horizon. All is calm and quiet as a city can be. Isolated from the crowded city and the ways of socializing, a prison's inmates huff with anger or annoyance. On the side of the prison, someone in black armor for the legs and gold armor for the chest and arms climbs up the stone wall. He wears a helmet that resembles the face of a coyote. The being uses his built in spikes on his metal gloves to climb. Calculating the height of where his destined floor should be, he stops at a window with bars and melts the bars. A prison guard passing by turns around and gasps at the man in armor.

"What in the world?" The guard snarls as he takes out his small gun. He can't pull the trigger or even back up since the coyote man pulls up his arm and aims some kind of laser. The laser radiates waves that surround the guard. The guard's head feel like its being pounded on. His vision twists and turns so many ways. His body beings to tremble for an unknown force as he curls up on the floor.

Coyote looks down at the guard. He bends down and takes the keys to the prison cells. Leaving the quivering guard behind, he makes his way through the long, colorless halls.

In one of the cells on the men side, Wolf does one-arm push-up with his other arm behind his back. He counts from 200 and up. Jackal rolls his eyes at the egoistic man and leans around the pole to their bunk bed. Jackal fights the urge to mock the old man again; if so, they'll get in another fist-fight and will be punished again. Cage doors are heard being open and the two ex-stars are shocked to see Dingo in his Pack uniform.

"Dingo?"

"How did you-?"

"Answers later. Right now you best stand away from the door." Dingo says as he sticks grey look-a-like play dough on the key-lock of their cell. Jackal and Wolf instantly recognize the bomb-dough and take cover the moment the bars explode. They push their mats down on the floor once the cell is blown. "Come along, mates. The guards will be wanting to talk to us soon." Dingo says in his Australian accent. The alarms ring off caused by the sudden explosion.

The men don't waste any time to run down corridors and in search of the exit. All goes according to plan; Dingo has both Wolf and Jac- Dingo looks over his shoulder to spot Jackal running the opposite hallway from them. "What the-? Jackal! What are you doing?" Dingo stops and runs in front of Jackal, placing his arms up to block him.

"I'm freeing my sister." Jackal determinedly says and shoves Dingo out of the way.

Dingo shakes his head and sighs. Wolf runs up to him and places a hand on Dingo's shoulder to face him. "Let him go. It's his funeral." Wolf gruffs and smirks. Dingo ignores him and catches up to Jackal. "You're funeral too, then." Wolf mumbles and crosses his arms. He'd leave but he isn't the one who arranged the getaway. If those two take more time than expected, Wolf will leave them for the dust.

"Hold up, mate," Dingo says as he reaches Jackal. "Hyena's already being taken care of. Right now, we have to go for cover and wait for her." He holds Jackal's shoulders from both sides and squeezes them. Dingo doesn't wait for Jackal's answer as he pulls him by the collar of the shirt and down the hall again.

Making the way out to the sunset proves to be more difficult than said. The three men are met with about six guards blocking the door. That doesn't stop the ex-Pack members as they keep on running and charge to the guards. Some guards run away from their path while others stand their grounds. Wolf easily takes them out with a punch or a kick full of muscle. Jackal and Dingo take care of the guards on the side, knocking them out and emptying their bullets. Once that's cleared, they run out like fire is on their heels.

Outside, they meet the sun barely setting, the tall, steel, thick walls of the prison and Hyena cheery as ever with the Coyote man. Jackal and Wolf raise an eyebrow at each other, both wondering of the newbie. Hyena notices their looks and gives a chuckles and shrugs. She doesn't know who he exactly is but she already likes him. Their path of freedom stops at the gates. Bullets are being fired behind them and Wolf boils with anger if he has to return to that wretched prison.

"Now what?" He yells at Coyote. Coyote doesn't answer. He merely walks to the closed shut gates and pries it loose. The Pack stares astounded at Coyote as he holds the heavy steel gate over his head. "Ok. I'm impressed." Wolf mumbles. His impressed face goes to a scared one as he and the rest of the Pack watch Coyote throw the gate in their direction. They don't have to worry, though, as the gate slams down near incoming guards, trapping a few of them under.

The Pack runs for cover under some boulders at the edge of the land. Waves wash over them, making them sometimes slip from their hold. It's either the bullets of the plunge of death to the rocks under the water. Staying in place seems to be the best option. Wolf uses this quick break to ask questions. "Where's Fox?" They were expecting to see Fox and Hyena together in the escape, thinking since Jackal and Wolf were put together, Hyena and Fox were too. But for some reason, she didn't come out with her. "And who is this guy?" He shouts over the bullets fired and rocks crumbling.

"He's Coyote. The guy who is saving your tails." Dingo responds. He also wonders where Fox is but right now dealing with the guards comes first. Since Dingo is the only one with a gone and isn't like Coyote staring out into the sunset, he fires his own gun, wounding a few.

Coyote's red eyes glow from his helmet. The ground shakes powerfully; rocks become loose and drop on the Pack and the guards. Bubbles pop on the surface of the water and smoke rises. Water shots up like a geyser and a flying machine hovers over to them. "All aboard." Coyote says smugly with a grin which can be heard.

Clock Tower

With the sun gone for the next twelve or so hours, the gargoyles make their way inside for a peaceful night when the bad news hits them like a grenade. Goliath sees Elisa there like always but not with a worried expression. In the instant, he knows something is wrong. "What is it, Elisa?"

"Bad news, I'm afraid. The Pack has escaped from Riker's Island."

"WHAT?" Lexington shouts a little too loudly next to Brooklyn's ear.

Brooklyn cringes at the ringing in his ear and covers it with his claw. "Nice wake up call." He mumbles at both the shriek from Lexington and the news of the Pack.

Lexington doesn't seem to listen to a word he said. "We got to track them down now! Before the trails gets cold." He bitterly grumbles, a growl threatening to come out full of rage.

Goliath knows they need to do some action, but instead of blinding anger, he is calmly thinking of the situation. First by getting information. "How did it happen?" Riker's Island is difficult to get out or in The Pack may be slick but without their weapons, they're stuck in there.

"Dingo and someone dressed in black. Took them out fast and clean." At every Elisa's word, Lexington is hopping from foot to foot.

"What are we waiting for?! Let's get moving!" Lexington pushes his way past the clan and hops on the stairs skipping every step.

"Where do we start?" Broadway pushes past Brooklyn to talk some sense into Lexington. "Manhattan is a much bigger castle than the one we used to protect." They could be anywhere in the city. The Pack may be smart to leave the city in just one night.

"The Pack Media Studios. They'll go back to it like snakes to a nest. And I'll be waiting." All throughout his words there is regret and anger. His claws curl into fists and tremble as the memories of the betrayal he faced from his so-called friends. Without a moment of hesitation, Lexington hops out of the clock tower to the ledge.

"Lexington, wait!"

Goliath and Elisa both pop their heads out the door. Lexington stubbornly stops from gliding off to turn his head over his shoulder. "The Studios is the first place we're checking."

Back with the rest of the clan, they all stand still like soldiers waiting for a command. An idea pops into Alex's mind. Lexington won't like it one bit but… "One of us has to go with him." She states. The two brothers and female gargoyle look at each other, mentally asking the question. Who's willing to go with the ticking bomb called Lexington?

"Not me." Broadway ways his hands with windshields. "He won't listen to me no matter what I say."

That leaves Brooklyn and Alex. "I'll go." Brooklyn states. Broadway enthusiastically nods his head in agreement.

"You sure?" Alex ask worriedly.

"Hey, you haven't seen Lex when he is mad. He can match Goliath's level any time." The youngsters laugh at the little joke, but Hudson's glare makes their laughter turn to whimpers. "I should go before Lex leaves."

"Hold it right there, lad." Brooklyn turns back around to face Hudson. Hudson stands next to Alex and places a claw on her shoulder. When Alex feels the claw on her, she mentally whimpers like a puppy. "Alex is better qualified."

"Why?" Brooklyn asks protectively as Alex asks with a whimper.

Hudson pats Alex's shoulder encouragingly. "First, it was your idea." Alex pouts at the reason. "Second, Lexington looks up to you like a sister. He'll listen to you more you two lads. No offense." Hudson chuckles at the brothers' depressed expression. Alex ponders at Hudson's words, thinking whether or not to believe him. Before she is given the chance to say something, Hudson lightly pushes her up the stairs. "Go on. We still have those hunters to catch."

Nodding, Alex jumps up the stairs. She bends down to cross over Elisa and Goliath blocking the door. "Alright Lexington. You and me. We'll check out The Studios." Alex looks back at Goliath's and Elisa's confused looks. The only explanation she can give is pointing behind them, where Hudson has just come up.

Lexington doesn't notice Alex pointing behind because of his clouded judgment. Without a word, Lexington jumps off the ledge. A second later, Alex glides off too.

The three adults watch as the two youngsters glide away. They each have a stern expression as their brains are put to work. Hudson is the first to speak pf what they are all simultaneously are thinking. "The Pack won't be foolish enough to return to the Studious." That's probably the reason why Lexington was able to go without much of a commotion. He'll be too angered to fight properly. Hudson advised Alex to go so that she can really knock sense into Lexington.

"We have to go to the source of the problem." Elisa adds in following the direction in where Hudson was going.

"Xanatos." Goliath growls, hitting the spot of the conversation. Goliath gathers the rest of the clan. He gives them a quick recap of what their conversation was about. Broadway and Brooklyn nods their heads in understanding. Moving into action, Broadway and Brooklyn grab a paw of Bronx's and glide in the direction of the castle with Hudson and Goliath right behind them.

Pack Media Studious

"Lexington, we're going to have to be careful. The cops are here," Alex says. They are perched in a ledge of a building across from The Pack Studious. Police cars surround the whole block. Sirens are flashing red and blue as the sound echoes in the emptied streets. The roads surrounding the studious are completely blocked from any pedestrians by yellow and white stands.

Lexington registers her words but not as a warning. "They can have The Pack once I'm through with them." He says in his still bitter voice. He leans over the small falcon perch he is on, like a vulture watching the prey for any sudden movements before it gets it claws on it.

Alex sighs and rubs the back of her neck. How am I supposed to talk to him when he's like this? …I'm blaming Hudson for this. Taking a breath, Alex tugs on Lexington's claw to gain his attention. "Look, I know you were badly hurt by them but you have to think straight here." Lexington huffs and turns back to the surrounded studious.

"You're not the only one going through this kind of problem, Lex. You, me, Goliath, the clan. We were all betrayed by someone we trusted." Alex sees that Lexington has given her somewhat his attention, but his tail swings aggravatingly. She keeps on going. "Your clan was betrayed by the captain. That betrayal affected Goliath the most. Goliath may hold some anger inside but that doesn't stop him from protecting the rest of you."

Lexington ponders over her words. He can see the connection from Goliath's to his but it's a small connection. Lexington shakes his head to clear of the distraction.

Alex sighs and tries again. "I was betrayed by Demona, who I trusted deeply. I thought she actually cared for me and would protect me, but I was wrong. You have no idea how much I hate her and want to beat her." She gently drops her plae grey claw on Lexington's shoulder and makes him look at her. "The time will come when I'll get my chance. And your time will come too. Maybe not tonight but soon." Alex softly smiles.

Lexington looks down as the words break down bits of the wall he put up to block Alex. Sense slowly creeps in through the small cracks. Maybe not tonight is the right time… But The Pack is out there running a mock! It's the perfect time to strike back! The cops pack it in for the night. Lexington's crumbling wall is back up now, and so is the anger for The Pack.

"I'm checking it out." Lexington glides down to the roof of the Studious.

Looks up to me like a sister my ass! He didn't pay attention at all! Alex growls, her claws curling in to fists, the claws digging in her skin only slightly. I'm blaming Hudson. Alex jumps off the ledge to catch up with Lexington, who is already inside the Studious.

Inside is completely empty. There are crops of the cancelled show piled up on the sides. The lights are off but that's not a problem for the night creatures. The only problem there is that The Pack isn't here.

"Happy?" Alex says grouchily with her arms crossed and her weight shifted to one leg.

Lexington drops his head in shame. "I guess you're right…" he says quietly.

"We can search for clues if you want." Alex says to try and cheer him up. Lexington silently shakes his head. Aw man…I'm not good at this. Alex rubs the back of her neck as she mentally hits herself. She doesn't know how to really bring people's feelings up. Not even her little brother's. How is she to fix Lexington up? "C'mon. Let' find Goliath. See if he found anything." Lexington numbly nods.

The floor suddenly breaks apart under their feet. Smoke rises with a burning smell of an engine in the air. The heavy smoke stings their eyes, making them tear up. They are blinded by a bright white light, covering their eyes with their wings or arms. The sun of an engine humming softly rings in the air, along with other sounds such as clicks and hisses. Lexington and Alex back up from the floor opening as a giant, plain colored airship settles in The Pack Studious. Cold shivers go up and down on Alex's spin. Opposite of Alex, Lexington boils anger inside of him.

The airship's side door opens and members of The Pack stand with their noses help up high like lions on their pride rock. Lexington growls at the cocky hunters and lunges himself to them, only to be held back by Alex with her arms wrapped around his small waist.

"Wait!" Alex hisses at the pain in her arms. Lexington's claws dig in her skin causing small punctured holes to heave blood out. She ignores the pain and focuses on restraining Lexington and The Pack. She looks at each one of them, all with a wide grin and a bloody hunter's evil glint. Alex is so focused if The Pack makes any sudden movements that she is easily thrown a few feet back by the small gargoyles.

Lexington throws himself on Wolf. Wolf stumbles on his feet by the sudden attack but easily throws Lexington to a metal beam. Dingo takes out his small laser gun out and shoots the green gargoyle. Lexington hops from one foot to another in place, ducking one in a while when a shot is aimed for his head. Thinking fast, Lexington climbs the metal beam and with enough height, glides to the back of the airship.

Dingo gets ready for when Lexington will come out the other side of the ship, his gun aimed at the estimates height Lexington may be, but the green gargoyle never comes out. Lexington stops halfway around the side and climbs to the top where he has a clear aim at Dingo. With his big eyes glowing pure white with anger, Lexington pounces on the unaware Dingo, pinning him to the floor. Dingo struggles to get the small gargoyle off him, but Lexington pins his arms behind his back, the gun far from range on the floor, and allows his body weight to pin the Australian down.

Wolf creeped up behind Lexington and punched him right in the back of the head. Lexington half roared, half hissed from the shot and the pain coursing through his side and left arm as his body hits the cold floor.

While Lexington fights with Dingo and Wolf, Alex deals with the troublesome twins. Alex ducks or throws her body weight to the side to dodge Jackal's combination of punches and kicks. It's not easy fighting Jackal. Alex keeps her distance and waits for an opening but there is none. She backs up to some wooden crates as Jackal nears her, having stopped his swift kicks and punches to corner Alex. Alex looks around for an escape route but none offering a safe way pass Jackal.

Because she looks around, Alex noticed Hyena on top of the crates above her head. Hyena laughs wickedly as she snips her scissor claws together. Risking it, Alex throws her claws and wraps them around Hyena's sharp claws and pulls her down. Hyena is thrown off her unbalanced feet on the crates to her brother below. To insure they stay put, Alex shoves some of the crates on top of the siblings.

With those two busy getting splinters out of their skin, Alex runs around them to find Lexington. She sees him being crushed in a bear hug by Wolf. Anger flares up inside of her. Alex's eyes glow to their unusual color of purple as she lunges at Wolf. Wolf, seeing her from the small distance, decides she is more of a fighter than the puny gargoyle in his arms, so her throws Lexington to the side and punches upwardly to her stomach.

Immense pain strikes her mid-section. Alex's body drops to the floor and curls up. Wolf scoffs in disappointment in the lack of action. Nonetheless, he kicks Alex in her stomach with brute force. His second kick is stopped by Alex. She has a firm grip on his ankle. Growling up to Wolf, Alex uses her whole body weight to throw Wolf off his feet. With him on the floor, Alex jumps on him and punches him directly in the head. Punching the guy isn't enough to settle Alex's anger so she switches to scratching him deeply with her claws around his body.

Lexington shakes his head from the unexpected throw and goes back to the battle. He hurls at Hyena, who she and her brother managed to free themselves of the crates. Hyena is blinded by the green gargoyle on her shoulders. Jackal sneaks up behind his sister to get Lexington off, though Lexington's wild tail hits him in the face. Jackal stumbles back with a hand to his face as it reddens from the whip. Feeling something hit his tail, Lexington looks over his shoulder to growl at Jackal. Lexington jumps off from Hyena to take care of Jackal but something with tremendous shock and force hits in straight in the back.

Lexington feels the air knocked out of his lungs. His body lands painfully to the floor. The pain from the shock tingles over his body. He feels his body going limb as his vision starts to become blurry. Then, darkness overcomes the small gargoyle.

On top of the airship, Coyote stands with his arm in an angle aimed at Lexington's position. Smoke rises out of the gun which he used on Lexington. Turning his head to the other fight, Coyote aims at Alex. Alex is too preoccupied to notice the black and gold figure. Her body drops to Wolf's side. She goes limb and cold with the shot that hit her back. Wolf gets up and gives a final forceful kick.

Ten minutes later, the human sized doors of the studios open and Goliath and the rest of the clan enter. Their search for Xanatos at the castle came up useless. Apparently, Xanatos is out and cannot be reached. They at least hoped Bronx could pick up any traces of the rich man or of The Pack members. The only place they cold think to have a clue is the Studious. Plus, Owen told them to go here. But there's nothing. Only the remains of the battle are left.

Hudson inspects the broken crates, plucking one from the floor and seeing claw marks. "There was a struggle here." He announces, confirming the gargoyle's thoughts.

Bronx whines at the announcement. He wishes something other than his friends getting hurt happened here. But even with the scents her picks up, he knows it's true. He can smell Lexington's and Alex's distinct smell mixing with those of The Packs. He even picks up an unfamiliar scent. He growls at the floor where Coyote was after shooting both Lexington and Alex.

Brooklyn pats Bronx encouragingly. The remains of the fight don't look pretty. Apart from the crates, there are some deep and not deep scratches on the floor and on the beams. If they look real hard on the floor, they might find a speck of blood, belonging to either Wolf or Alex during the brutal fight.

A phone rings, interrupting the gloomy looks on the gargoyles. Broadway, being the one closest to the phone hanging on the wall, right away lifts his claw to pick it up but stops. Looking over his shoulder, Broadway is granted the permission to answer the caller by Goliath.

Goliath has a deep feeling in his gut that is has something to do with his two missing members. Kidnapped by The Pack, and now, they might be demanding for a ransom. If it is something close to a kidnapping, he is ready to do what is necessary to get Lexington and Alex back from their clutches.

"Hello?" Broadway's voice is rocky, even though he tries to make it sound more humane.

"Good evening. Uh, Broadway, is it?" Owen speaks in his always dull tone. "I've been instructed to invite you to an intimate swarey The Pack is having tonight. If you and your friends are free around midnight, please consider attending. At the oil tanker at Toushiana Mauro in the middle of the bay. I believe some of your party is already in attendance." Owen ends the call once he is done with his part.

Broadway blinks at the silence in the other end, confused of Owen's action. He may be dull, hardworking and boring but Owen is one mysterious guy to them all. Getting back to the matter at hand, Broadway drops the phone back in its place and turns to the clan. "The Pack has them."

Goliath growls at the mention of The Pack and of what they have done. Not wasting precious time, Goliath walks to the door. "We must act quickly." The clan follows him outside. They climb the side of the studious to get airborne.

The Pack's Ship

Lexington groggily wakes up from his forced nap, rubbing his sore back the best that he can. His eyes blink rapidly, trying to focus on the grey figure in front of him. Alex sits cross-legged with her elbows on her knees and her head on the knuckles. "No way we're getting out of here. The ship's made of thick steel." Alex reports to Lexington, whether he wants to know that kind of information or not. She got up some time before Lexington. While she waited for Lex to wake up, she explored the place they were put in, with no way out; only a high ceiling. Must be a cargo ship.

Negatively, he doesn't want to know. His eyes go back to glowing white with anger, jumping from his lying position. "I almost had them!"

"Oh yeah. They were begging for mercy." Alex retorts with a glare. They got thrown, punched, shot at, and kidnapped and he still doesn't get the point! Alex moves her head to her right palm and drops the other claw on her knee. "We need to wait for Goliath. Hopefully he'll find us-"

"I don't need Goliath!" Lexington exclaims. He walks behind Alex to the steel wall of the ship and pounds his little fists on it.

"Lex, take a moment to see where we are!" Alex snaps but keeps her fuse low from exploding. It's hard for her not to lash out at him when he keeps on pounding on the steel wall, completely ignoring her and shutting her out. "Just hear me out for a second, will ya? We need to keep our heads clear and wait for an opportunity to escape. We need to stick together in case The Pack decides to fight us again. Think of a strategy to overpower them." Alex has nothing else to say to the stubborn gargoyle.

It's like talking to a wall... Alex inwardly groans. Guess The Pack didn't knock any sense into him either. She lets Lexington pound on the wall, until it gets very annoying that Alex drags Lexington away from the wall, leaving small dents and claw marks, and holds his claws in hers. That doesn't last long. Lexington keeps moving around and tugging away from Alex. Sighing, Alex lets go of him, hopping he doesn't go back to pounding the wall.

Instead, Lexington does his own exploration of their imprisonment. There's nothing in the ship. It's completely empty, except for those two. Not even a metal ladder to climb. The walls can be climbed but there isn't anything to use for escaping. Only a blocked hole in the ceiling.

While Lexington thinks of ways of getting out and beating The Pack and Alex thinks of getting Lexington to understand the situation without hitting him, The Pack are gathered around in a circle with weapons in their hands, ready for the gargoyles.

"Think they'll come?" Dingo asks. "They got to know it's a trap."

"They'll come." Coyote says with confidence. True to his word, roars are heard behind them. "They're coming from the south!" Hudson and Goliath are taking over the thick fog surrounding the ship. They only come out of the fog for a millisecond before they are blasted with laser guns. Since The Pack dropped their guard from behind to stop Hudson and Goliath, Broadway and Brooklyn comes in from the front side. They get close to the ship to drop Bronx. The blue dog runs to his aimed target, hitting Wolf square in the back. Brooklyn dives and tackles Jackal, and Broadway tackles Dingo.

Coyote jumps all three of the fighting pairs and lands on the second floor of the ship. Goliath sees him from the skies and follows him. Hudson swipes Hyena guns out of her hand. She growls in frustration at Hudson. Snipping her sharp claws, she aims for Hudson. The old gargoyle uses his sword to block her claws from all the points she tries to make on his body.

Wolf throws Bronx off from him and gets on his feet. Jackal is thrown to him by Brooklyn who flexes his mildly scratched wing. Wolf and Jackal switch partners on Wolf command. Jackal grunts but takes on Bronx. He doesn't like using his scissor claws, unlike Hyena who is an expert at using them. He prefers to use his strong, swift kicks. With Bronx being so low to the round, Jackal might win. Wolf can easily overpower Brooklyn and the red gargoyle knows this. That's why Brooklyn takes cautious steps back, his muscles tensed and fist ready to be put to good use.

Dingo and Broadway are in hand-to-hand combat, the adult human matching the young gargoyle's strength. Broadway bends down and snakes him claws on Dingo's legs. Throwing the hunter's body over his shoulder, Broadway launches Dingo back a good distance, landing right in Hudson's and Hyena's battle ring. Dingo gets up and joins in on their fight.

Broadway watches as Dingo leaves for Hudson. He only takes one step before the sound of pounding reaches his fin-like ears. Broadway stays still and drowns out all the other noises to focus on the pounding. Turning his head, Broadway pinpoints the pounding coming from a chained shaft. Even with his strength, Broadway isn't able to break the chains off the wheel of the shaft. He tries, instead, to pulls the shaft up, but when that doesn't work, he tries to put his whole weight on it to smash it. Nothing.

Wolf jumps when Brooklyn swipes his tail under his feet. Brooklyn throws punches from left to right. Wolf easily dodges the incoming blows, smirking teasingly at the red gargoyle. Brooklyn has enough of this, anger boiling. He braces himself and hurls like a bull to Wolf's metal-plated stomach with all this strength.

The force knocks Wolf off his feet and thrown in Broadway's direction. With the combined strength, the shaft breaks on the side and rolls over the railings. "Thanks…" Broadway says half-heartedly, half sarcastically. The pounding stops and is replaced with screeches of metal. Soon, Lexington hops out of the shaft with Alex right behind him. Lexington wastes no time to engage in the battle. Lexington tackles Dingo, who was about to strike Hudson from behind while he dealt with Hyena.

Alex gets out of the shaft, her eyes lading on Wolf. She cracks her knuckles as she walks over to Wolf. The wolf-man gets up, holding his stomach and grunting at the residing pain. He shakes to clear his vision and sees Alex's purple eyes. With a smirk, Alex punches Wolf straight in the face. The man stumbles back, holding his face, looking at her and clenching his teeth tightly.

Coyote runs to the back of the ship and hides around a corner, taking out the powerful hypnotizing gun. Goliath lands a few feet back from where Coyote is hiding, taking cautious steps forward. He is caught off guard though when Coyote activates the weapon when Goliath passes him by two steps. The lavender's head throbs in pain. Goliath can't take the powerful wave, his body succumbing to the floor but he still has his upper-half up. The wave makes his body throb painfully with each sonic wave that hits him. Coyote stops his sonic gun and brings out his laser gun. Goliath takes the chance to clear his head for a moment and pound on the metal floor.

The bolts and screws on the metal floor twist and become lose with the force. The metal plates dent and the floor becomes shaky like an earthquake. Coyote loses his balance and fires the shot to some gas tanks on the first floor. The gas explodes with tremendous heat waves going everywhere. Coyote's back is slammed to the metal wall as Goliath pins him with one claw and the other claw reaches for the helmet. Goliath easily detaches the helmet, shocked to see the face underneath.

"Xanatos." He growls with bitter anger.

"Nice to see you to, Goliath." Xanatos smirks. He grabs Goliath's arm that pins him down and punches Goliath with his free hand. Goliath, still holding on Xanatos, falls off the railing and into the fire below.

Xanatos snatches himself away from Goliath and throws a punch. Goliath stops the punch, as well as the other punch that Xanatos tried to throw. The two try to crush the other down, but it's a challenge for Goliath. Xanatos matches Goliath's strength with the armored suit. Fists are locked between the two males. Xanatos retracts one of his hands and turns around, twisting Goliath's arm locked on his right fist, and throwing Goliath over his shoulder. Goliath lands way too close to the fire.

The fire spreads around the ship, creeping around the fighters. They noticed the fire spreading out of control but pay no attention to it. All their focus is on the opponent. The fight starts to reach its climax. The gargoyles switch partners to get the upper hand. Hudson deals with Wolf while Alex deals with Hyena. The trio deals with Dingo and Jackal. Bronx runs over to Goliath. He successfully tackles Xanatos and ferociously claws and bites him. Goliath is stunned at the gruesome way Bronx is handling Xanatos. He is even more stunned when Bronx bites Xanatos' head.

Xanatos knocks Bronx off him and stumbles as he gets on his feet. He removes the hand from his face and stands in a battling position, either ignoring his ripped robotic face of not processing it. The fighters stop mid punch or kick as they gasp at the Xanatos robot.

"A robot?" Dingo asks bewildered for The Pack.

Hyena hums with a small smile. "Even better." Alex looks at her with a crazy look at the crazy woman.

Bronx growls at the robot and lunges at him. Robot Xanatos is thrown to the floor again. Unable to throw the beast off, Bronx rips the head out and throws it away. The body machine still functions and gets up, punching Bronx even without a head. It slowly walks to search for another opponent when a lavender fist is punched throw its systems. The body falls; sparks of the wires flaming in the air.

The head Bronx threw rolls over to The Pack members. The stare in shock at their 'leader' defeated. The gargoyles huddle together with confidence over the battle. Lexington has a mischievous smirk on his lips. He holds his claw out and waves them over tauntingly.

"Time to book, sis." Jackal grans Hyenas wrist and hulls her back and over the railing. Wolf and Dingo follow behind them as a prepared aircraft.

"No! Get back here!" Lexington shouts.

An explosion shakes the ship violently and causes a hole in the side of the cargo ship. Barrels of oil on fire roll down the tilting ship. The gargoyles jump up or to the side to miss the incoming oversized tin ans. Xanatos' head still functions and fires up its rockets, smoke crowing in to the gargoyles' lungs, and leaving the site. Lexington notices an abandoned gun of The Pack and aims carefully for the escaping ship.

Another explosion rocks the ship, powerful heatwaves sending Brooklyn flying to the railing. He hits his head against the railing, knocking him unconscious as his body leans over the oil in the water starting to fire up.

Lexington has his claw ready on the trigger-

"Brooklyn!"

The sudden shout brings Lexington out of his anger to see Brooklyn slowly sliding off the ship. He looks back to see Alex far behind, trying to get to where Brooklyn. She won't make it in time before Brooklyn falls in. Lexington is much closer but… it's either the ship he goes after of Brooklyn.

Looking up, the aircraft is still in range to take the shot. Looking down, Brooklyn just needs another heatwave to push him down the fire. Grunting, Lexington throws the gun away and barely reaches Brooklyn's body before it falls.

The ship goes down by the heavy weight of the water, but the fire above doesn't let itself be extinguished. A silent order surrounds the gargoyles. They nod at each other and lift their wings up to catch the current. Bronx runs to the other side of the side and howls for help. Goliath swoops down and carries the beast with ease. Lexington has a bit of a struggle with Brooklyn, until Alex comes by his and takes him in her arms. She struggles with the extra weight but is able to carry her lover.

"Thank you." She smiles. Brooklyn groans and slowly gets on his own wings, confused as to how they got from a fired up, sinking ship to the safe zone of the sky.

The memory of the last moment before he passed out comes back. "Oh... thanks Lex. You saved my bacon back there."

Lexington gives a light chuckle. "No problem. It helped get my priorities straight."

Alex squeezes Brooklyn's claw for reassurance. Brooklyn smiles, showing he is alright.

Next morning

Fox walks out of Riker's Island prison in an unnatural shade of green suit with a white under shirt. She climbs into the waiting limousine, pulled into a passionate kiss by non-other than Xanatos. She cuddles closer to him, laying her head on his shoulder and a small yet strong hand on his chest. Xanatos possessively wraps an arm around her and holds her close.

Lying on the other side of Xanatos wrapped up in a dirty piece of cloth is the torn head of the Xanatos robot.
