As Bellamy walked outside he yelled as loud as he could that they were holding a meeting. It took about five minutes for the kids and the Arkers in the camp to assembly in the main room of the meeting hall. Weapons were left outside. Bellamy and Clarke were stood at the front of the room, Abby, Marcus and Thelonious were stood near them. The meeting hall was silent waiting for whatever Bellamy needed to say. Taking a look at Clarke he blew out a breathe and turned to the crowd.

"We have gathered you here to talk to you about the situation with the Ark. We will not be joining the Ark station and they want to stay where they are. We are therefore giving everyone a choice. I will not force anyone to stay in this camp if they want to leave. We will also accept people into this camp. You do not need to be separated from your families. The choice is completely yours and we will be also offering this to those that are currently still at the fallen Ark station. For those who do not know how we run things here, if you choose to stay with us you will be expected to contribute to the running of the camp. You will be given some choice with what you wished to do but if you have any skills we would like to use them. We are on the ground now we can have a choice but you should know that if you do decide to remain here then you have to abide by our rules. The rules that Clarke and I set. If you break them you are banished on your own with no protection. So the decision is yours. You are all free, back to work," Bellamy finished with a smile but he reached over and grabbed Clarke's hand. She squeezed his hand in comfort they would be fine.

The kids moved out of the meeting hall going back to what they had been doing before. Bellamy and Clarke could see kids trying to convince their parents to stay in their camp.

Miller was stood with his dad outside the meeting hall looking out over the camp.

"What do you think of the camp?" he asked.

"I'm really impressed with what you have done here and I know the others are too."

"I really like it here, I fit in it is home and there is someone I want you to meet," Miller said gesturing towards the med-bay where Raven still was. He wanted to introduce her to his dad, so he would know the other reason he was staying. His dad would also like Raven she was brilliant.

They started walking when David smiled "I knew you were going to stay here. I knew when I walked through those gates and I'm going to stay here with you."

Miller smiled as they walked through the med-bay door, "I'm glad you are going to stay here but are you sure?"

"You're my son, of course I'm sure."

Miller walked straight up to Raven's bed, "Dad this is Raven, Raven this is my dad," Miller put his arm around Raven as she sat up struggling slightly.

"Nice to meet you Raven," said David shaking Raven's hand, "Are you okay? What happened to your leg?"

Raven sighed "The Reapers but hopefully I will be able to walk soon."

Miller smiled at her sadly rubbing his hand up and down her arm. Raven not wanting it to be sad said, "So what did I miss?"

Miller laughed, "Bellamy and Clarke been normal and not backing down to anyone. I think it helped that we had the Grounders on our side. Also the fact that we have cabins might have impressed them a bit."

"Oh I wished I could have seen their faces," Raven laughed.

"Well I was certainly impressed and I look forward to help build more," David said.

Raven hugged Miler tighter knowing how happy he would be that his dad was staying.

Across the camp Abby was trying to get Clarke's attention but she was avoiding her.

"Princess you know you have to face your mom at some point."

"I know but…" Clarke trailed off.

Bellamy said nothing just slightly smiled. Clarke rolled her eyes but went over to her mother. He knew her too well.

"Clarke, Are you sure you want to stay here? We need to stick together."

"Yes, I'm absolutely sure. We don't fit in with the Ark. Look at all we have done on our own when we had no help except from the Grounders. We managed to make peace with a hostile people."

"Clarke…"

"I've made up my mind; I just need you to accept it."

Abby had no time to reply as they were interrupted by Marcus and Thelonious. Bellamy who had been hovering nearby came to Clarke's side as soon as he saw putting his arm around her. Still showing a united front.

"We need to get back to the Ark ship," Marcus instructed.

"We will talk to the Grounders for you. You will need to negotiate but we will be there," Bellamy stated.

The two young leaders stood together watching the Arker's leave, some of the parents were staying, others were still unsure. None of the kids went. They simply went on with their day as if nothing had happened. As soon as the last Arker left camp and the gates were closed Clarke kissed Bellamy then hurried along to the med-bay.

Bellamy was about to get back to the cabin being built when he heard Jasper shout "Hey no watch the…"

The crash echoed around the camp. With a heavy sigh Bellamy went to see the damage and to see who he needed to send to Clarke.

Making the way to the Arker's camp was a lot less nerve wracking than the last time they had left the camp but Bellamy was nervous about what was going to happen. Bellamy and Clarke were on their way to the Ark camp with Lincoln, Miller, Anya, and Dwayne with other Grounders as guards. The Ark camp was not that far from the kids camp but the journey was worrying as Clarke and Bellamy were nervous, they did not know what the Arkers would make of the Grounders. The Grounders did not trust the new Sky people due to the scene at the meadow. They seemed to be controlling. Walking into the clearing of the fallen Alpha station the first thing they noticed was all of the guards surrounding the camp, all armed with guns. Clarke noticed the name of the camp and rolled her eyes, Camp Jaha, she was going to pretend it had been named for Wells.

"I wonder where the other stations landed," muttered Bellamy.

"I'm not sure, they must have people looking for them though. As long as they don't attack any Grounders they should be okay."
"We will keep an eye out for any clues while we are out of camp."

The guards where pointing their guns at the group as they got nearer so they slowed down and became cautious.

"This is a great way to greet us," muttered Dwayne.

Bellamy called out "Are you going to lower the guns so you can negotiate or are we going to stand like this all day?"

The guards lowered their guns and the group made their way into the camp. They were led into the Alpha station into a meeting room. Abby, Marcus and Thelonious were already waiting. Not wanting to waste time after people had been introduced they got right to it.

"We already have peace with one of the Sky people's camps why should we make peace with you?"

"I'm sure for the same reasons, whatever help they can offer we can too. We have experts on many subjects," stated Thelonious.

Bellamy huffed at the implied fact that the Arkers would be better.

"While that may be correct they seemed to have adapted rather well. I understand you have more medical supplies?"

"Yes that is correct," said Abby.

Anya nodded "Then I think we can all benefit from all three of our people's working together. Though of course we will need to go over land. I am not willing to give up any more hunting grounds. You are nearest to Clarke and Bellamy's. You already have peace I'm sure it will not hurt to work something out with them."

Great, thought Bellamy, another thing to argue over.

The meeting did not take too long, knowledge and other supplies would be shared but no land given by the Grounders. Bellamy had given up little hunting grounds only those very near Camp Jaha. He could not leave them to starve, it would do for now. The last thing they had to do before they left was offer the same thing they had to the others. After their speech Bellamy and Clarke stood near to each other preparing to leave with a few people who had decided to join straight away. People around the camp kept giving them odd looks.

"It's because they still see me as the guy that shot the chancellor and you at the Princess," Bellamy whispered in Clarke's ear.

Clarke shifted uncomfortably under the gaze of a couple of girls she recognised from class before she was locked up.

"Well they will soon learn that things do not remain the same down here."

Miller came up at that point, "We are ready to leave."

"Thank God for that, I can't wait to get home," said Clarke grabbing Bellamy and started to pull him towards the gate.

I am so sorry about the long wait for this chapter. I was in my final year at University but now I'm finished I'm going to do my best to finish this story. I'm not 100% happy with this chapter and I haven't edited it but I just wanted to get it posted. Again I'm sorry but hopefully I did well in my degree. Fingers-crossed.
