My Batman

Chapter 1: New Girl

•keep in mind this is just chapter one. It'll get there when 2 rolls around. I don't own Teen Wolf•

My name is Carla Summers. I'm 18 years old with long brown hair and dull blue eyes. My father, Josh Summers, is a marine and because of that I've had to move around my whole life. We're in the process of doing so again. For the past few hours I've been looking at road signs and passing cars as we drove towards our new home in Beacon Hills.

Normally I would research a school before going in and either standing out or fitting in so bad I became invisible, but this town looked so homey and normal I didn't. I paid close attention to the houses we passed and took more of the fact that each house had its own way of saying "hey! I'm different from my neighbor!" When dad pulled into the driveway of our home I noticed this house looked sad and dull. I got out of the car as the moving van pulled along side the road in front of the house.

"Alright Carla, go pick a room."

My dad said with a smile. My dad was 38 years old and was a fairly tall man with short brown hair and a close shaven beard. He had a deep voice that reminded me of far away thunder. His bright green eyes had always held a type of laughter that made others smile but also hid away his pain.

I gave a forced grin and walked up the stairs to the front door. Inside were wooden floors and white walls. A fresh house. When I turned to my left there was a staircase leading to the second floor. There were closets and two bathrooms from what I saw. When I reached the top there was a bedroom directly in front of the stairs. I already didn't like it because it was to close to the front door. The other was down past the bathroom. This one was smaller but through the window I could see the neighboring house.

It was something about the room I saw through the window that caught my eyes. I walked into the room and straight to the window. If I squinted I could see through the other window and see the corner of a bed, a computer desk, and a red flannel shirt on the floor.

"Carla! Come give me a hand!"

I heard dad yell from downstairs. I sighed and turned away from the window.
