Anna's eight and Elsa's eighteen.

Anna looked out at the audience. They weren't there. She checked her watch. "Five more minutes." she whispered to herself. She scanned the crowd again. No familiar faces.

She sighed and walked backstage.

No one ever comes to her talent shows. Her parents don't care and Elsa's too busy.

Elsa.

She hasn't seen her sister in days. She's always gone when the redhead wakes up and she's never home when she goes to bed. She really misses Elsa. They used to be inseparable.

"Three more minutes, Anna!" someone called. Anna nodded her head to no one in particular. She just wished that someone would show up.

She'd told her parents about it but they told her to go away. She told Elsa too.

"Hey Elsa, guess what!" chirped Anna.

"What is it Anna? I'm busy." Elsa groaned.

Anna, not put off by her sister's rude tone, shared the big news. "There's a talent show at my school next Thursday and I'm going to be singing a song I wrote!"

"That's nice." The platinum wasn't really paying attention.

"Will you come? It starts at seven but I'm the last act so I don't go on until seven fifty-five"

"Okay."

Anna sighed. She knew the older girl wasn't listening. "Bye Elsa." She sulked and walked away.

"Next Thursday. Seven fifty-five Got it."

Now it was seven fifty-six and Elsa was running through the halls. She found the right room and saw Anna onstage getting ready to sing. She didn't look happy and she knew that it was her fault.

Elsa walked down the aisle and up the stairs to backstage. She talked to the director and since Anna was the last act, it was alright for Elsa to wait for her little sister there.

The music started and Elsa heard Anna sing. The younger girl had an amazing voice and Elsa didn't know. As she listened to the song that Anna wrote, she realized that it was about her and Anna.

When the song ended, the crowd erupted in cheers. Anna smiled but she didn't really care that people she didn't know were clapping for her. She wanted Elsa or her parents.

Anna walked backstage with her eyes trained on the ground.

"That was amazing, Anna."

"Thanks." Wait was that... Anna lifted her and saw Elsa smiling back at her. "Elsa!" She ran to hug her. "You came! You came!"

Elsa squeezed the little redhead. "Of course I did. What kind of a big sister would I be if I didn't come?"

"You'd still be the best. I'd still love you."

"I love you too."

"...and the winner is, Merida!" The director said onstage.

"I'm sorry you didn't win." Elsa said apologetically.

"It's okay. I didn't really want to win. I just wanted you to come. Thank you."

"You don't have to thank me. Go get your things. We're going out for pizza."

"Yay!" Anna grabbed her bag and coat. Elsa held the girl's bag while she put on her coat. The blonde picked Anna up and put her on her hip, carrying the girl out of the school.

Anna gasped. "It's snowing!"

"Yes it is." Elsa said. "What was the name of that song?"

"Do you wanna build a snowman?"

"I'd love to."
