Review Response:

Zer0the0mega108 (Chapter 18): Glad you enjoyed this little story so far XD. Hopefully when I post the first REAL story in the Infinite Crisis series that you'll still enjoy it.

Hero of the Multiverse (Chapter 18): What happened was that I pulled a Matrix lol. But on a serious note, since this was my first DC story (I believe) I wasn't too sure where I wanted to take the story. I mean, I had the IDEA but the way it was going was a bit convoluted (ironic since this is Infinite Crisis lol). Essentially I was going back and forth whether or not to go through with this concept of the fake reality but I decided to go ahead with it (which explains a lot regarding the Star Sapphire Corps and the other events that hadn't happened in the YJ universe but in the JL/JLU universe [Universe 1 for Isun Te]).

Matthew gemm (Chapter 18): Correct, outside of the first chapter of this story, none of this was real; only a fake reality after Prime and Isun Te fell into the Source Wall in the first chapter.

Silver crow (Chapter 18): Yep, everything you read here never happened. I'm enjoying the reactions to what the last chapter has done to the other readers lol.

I can't wait to see what they do for YJ Season 3…

Well the version of Doomsday I used was the Magog Doomsday (the most powerful version if I remember), which stems back before Isun went into the Source Wall (that Doomsday was the last one he saw).

I'm just waiting for the shipping names for Isun's collective lol (I'll post the list down below in the A/N).

As to what's going on with Kara, if you remember from the last chapter, Prime mentioned that Kara offered him a deal of sorts. However, given that they are in the Source Wall who knows if Kara and Prime were actually saying the truth; which will play with what Sodam showed Artemis about her death (both parts are true).

Glad you liked the Killing Joke reference! Though about Prime… this is Prime we're talking about here lol. Given the context of the Infinite Crisis, Isun would still fear Prime more than anything else, even if he's kinda lost his mind. Also the comparison about Batman killing Joker (for reference) is switched for Prime and Isun; what I mean is that Batman and Prime are the pinnacle for their race, while Joker and Isun could be easily killed by the former if they wished. But it will be one hell of battle once Isun gets his act together…

About Artemis, she will disappear since she's still part of the false reality (as is Sodam and Metron). Remember the scene in the final episode of JLU where Metron takes Luthor to the Source Wall? Metron said that he wouldn't venture into it, hence the whole scene with Artemis makes sense that it was false (Where I believe I said that Earth-1 for Isun is set in the JL/JLU series, which makes sense in some regards since JLU was the closest to a true comic book show outside of the comics lol). Essentially the false reality that Isun lives in is made from his memories and Prime's memories, which is why those events played out as they did in the story; it's what Isun was used to on Earth-1.

Yep, I'm kinda surprise no one really picked up on the whole Artocitus aspect during this lol. I placed little "mistakes" on purpose, to see if anyone could recognize (kinda like a glitch from The Matrix).

Speaking of which, I actually did write a Sodam x Artemis lemon for the last chapter but I figured the revelation of Kara, Prime and the Source Wall would be more of an impact on the story (which I was right about).

Well, much like Isun, Sodam did lost a planet, an entire Corps, feels guilt for not stopping Prime, AND losing his only family. Fun bed time isn't going to be that high of a priority for him lol.

With Kara, is she sleeping with Prime or is Prime being a lustful dick?

Not to mention that even though Isun's background has been ambiguous and the brief insight to his life on Earth makes it all the more insightful. I've been considering a prequel story to Isun's time on Earth in the Earth-1 continuity.

Given the vast power difference between Isun and Prime (Large Star compared to Solar System), Isun's got his hands full. Though there is one thing that could even the odds…

Excellent question about Earth-16, the way I figure is that, like I mentioned above, that the universe that Isun was living in was a construct created by his own memories. Though you may also remember that Isun and Sodam mentioned that Artemis never existed in the Earth-1 continuity, so the question is why does she appear here? Because of Prime's memories? But to answer your question, the "Earth-16" universe still exists, Isun just now knows that it is fake. However if he were to break free from the Source Wall…

xhanti.m70 (Chapter 18): Lol.

Thanks for the review. Though Isun snapping Prime's neck wasn't going to happen (remember Prime's stronger still).

Guest (Mdhunter; Chapter 18): Glad you enjoyed the plot twist!

Guest (Chapter 18): Lol, you're not wrong.

-Infinite Crisis: New Destiny-

The dying laughter of the broken Daxamite filled Kara's ears, making her take a step back in regret. All this by her choice, to save him? Prime was right about her.

"I hate that joke," muttered Isun, his fit of broken giggles flowing through his words.

"I do to," admitted Prime, a tired smile on his face. "But we don't get what we want: me with my perfect Earth, and you… with whatever the hell you wanted."

The Daxamite patted Prime's shoulder sharply before pushing himself away from the Prime Kryptonian, wiping his tears with his forearm. Isun shook his head lightly, trying to figure out something.

"Now what? You and I are just stuck here now?" Isun asked.

Prime looked towards the monitors expectantly. "You are. I can probably punch my way out, it might take me longer than last time since I don't have Luthor's reality manipulation powers to boost me."

"Where are you going to go? Whatever's left of the multiverse during the Infinite Crisis, and your brawl with the Anti-Montior, must be minimal."

"I had less than nothing when my Earth was destroyed by the Anti-Montior, so this heaven to me," Prime declared. "You, however, will drown in your own misery." He paused and looked towards the Daxamite, a flicker of pity flashing in his eyes.

It made Isun sick.

"You truly got screwed over, didn't you? A child who wanted to see the stars then blackmailed by the heroes of the Justice League for being a ripoff Kryptonian. Even among that you managed to find somewhat of a life on Earth, making friends and a family. Then of course Kara comes to the picture," Prime nodded his head to Kara as he watched the twitch of fear in the Daxamite's hazel eyes. "And a beauty she was too, naturally I had to kill her."

Isun's hand balled into a fist, shaking in frightful anger. His breathing, the Prime Kryptonian noted, was increasing at a even tempo.

"You and I are alike," Prime said almost cheerfully. "Both our lives were ruined by monsters of the multiverse, and the sad part is: it'll happen again." Prime directed Isun's attention to the monitors. "And again, and again and again. Nothing we can do to stop it. Nothing. At. All."

The Daxamite shuddered under Prime's touch, but knew better than to remove himself.

"Difference is I can't die, while you can," Prime mocked. "Naturally it's a double-edged sword but it's a small sacrifice I can live with. You'll die before you can kill me, and when I destroy the Anti-Montior I'll be alone… for a time anyway. Then everything will be perfect."

Stepping away from the Daxamite, Prime walked towards the monitors for one final viewing. All these universes, including the construct designed to torture the Daxamite, made him sick; each universe for their own separate reasons.

Hesitating in fear that she would disappear, Isun turned regretfully to find her still there. Perhaps the fact that she was still there made him broke him even more. Each step the Daxamite made towards Kara pained them both, Kara finally looking away in guilt. Isun rubbed the swelling tears away before he stood a foot from her.

Isun shook his head, anger and regret flooding through him. "I want to ask why." The Daxamite shook his head harder, his mind racing with thoughts. He exhaled in tired anguish. "I'm afraid that you're not real. Yet I fear that you are." Staring at the back of her golden-sun hair, Isun continued. "What's worse, is that you thought this was helping me, or saving me."

When he walked away, he didn't hear the soft whimpers of a broken girl.

-Infinite Crisis: New Destiny-

Prime smirked as he felt his body being forced to turn around and the Daxamite's fist slamming into his cheek.

"That's the action of regret," mocked Prime, flexing his jaw. "Glad to see that you haven't lost any of your strength, this will make it fun-" A warrior's scream interrupted him as Isun threw another planet destroying punch to Prime's other cheek. Prime sighed in disappointment, dodging the Daxamite's rabid punch, destroying the monitor behind him.

Bright crimson eyes snarled at the Prime Kryptonian, ignoring the blood leaking from his knuckles.

"You will never be rid of me Daxamite," Prime threatened. The Kryptonian caught the bloody fist, returning it back to Isun's face. "I however can be rid of you." Prime grabbed Isun by his face and slammed him into the monitor, sharp pain inflicting all over the Daxamite's skull. Reaching blindly, Isun grabbed Prime by his throat and pulled him into another monitor, breaking it in the process.

Growling in anger, Prime ripped his head from the monitor and grabbed Isun by both his hands, strangling his neck and lifting him over his head. "Pretty soon, no one will believe you ever existed."

"Go to Hell!" exclaimed Isun.

Prime dragged the Daxamite close to his face, his cerulean eyes staring through the bloodshot hazel eyes, enjoying his strangled breaths for life. "Where do you think I come from? Look into my eyes, I want to see you die!" Tightening his godly strength around Isun's throat, Prime grinned demonically as he saw those hazel eyes begin to roll backwards…

A swift crimson boot slammed against the side of the Prime Kryptonian's head, crashing against a number of monitors. Isun gasped for air, glad that his trachea wasn't completely crushed. Kara grabbed Isun around his chest and flew beyond lightspeed, knowing that Prime would catch up in a microsecond.

"K-Kara," Isun croaked, his voice barely audible. He coughed severely, tiny droplets of blood leaking onto his hand. Kara kept her eyes focused ahead. Isun looked behind him, noticing that Prime wasn't-

Isun lurched forward at the Kryptonian's sudden stop, seeing Prime floating ahead of them.

Prime glared mockingly at them. He wanted to express how pathetic they were, and how stupid this "plan" of hers was. It took much willpower for Prime to bite his tongue, letting his actions speak for itself.

Kara floated backwards, keeping Isun close to her chest. She made a mistake. She had already put the both of them to death. Drumming his fingers against his forearm, Prime watched them through narrowed eyes, his patience finally boiling over.

Thinking quickly, Kara lunged Isun with her remaining strength towards the wall. Isun's body became morphed to it before spitting him out on the other side. The Daxamite tried to throw himself back at the wall, but it wouldn't budge or break. Slamming his fists desperately against the crystal wall, Isun rewatched in horror as the same events on Earth played out in front of him.

He could hear it now as he heard it back then.

Her blue eyes stared longingly at him, twinkling in remorse; hoping, begging for his forgiveness. Kara placed her hand against the crystal wall, silently pleading for Isun. Tears welled in his eyes as Isun regretfully placed his hand over hers, trying to ignore Prime's hand around her skull.

Isun winced as blood splattered against the crystal wall, the crimson liquid mocking the Daxamite.

He failed her. Again.

His tears dried. He wasn't going to waste them. Glaring at the Kryptonian, who slowly pressed his body against the morphing crystal, the two aliens stared at each other.

The silence confirmed that they were both going to die, regardless of who died first.

Shouting in pure bloodlust, Isun lunged with the strength to burst a star, shattering the crystal wall entirely; colors and shapes unrecognizable to mortals and gods alike shown through it. Regardless, the Daxamite missed his target.

Chasing down Prime, Isun threw another punch, as before he missed.

Millions, tens of millions of punches and kicks shattered whatever Isun was hitting in microseconds, yet all missing Prime's bones. Isun's hazel eyes morphed to a demonic crimson, unleashing a devastating heat vision equal to a supernova. The Daxamite's head buzzed and his eyes burned from using such power in a short burst, but he didn't care.

Strong hands wrapped around Isun's throat from behind, Prime repeating his attack from before. Grabbing Prime's forearms, Isun grunted before throwing his body weight forward, swinging Prime over his shoulder and rocketing after him. Tackling Prime in midair, Isun tried to ignored the bone shattering flare of Prime's fist smashing against his back.

A powerful headbutt forced Isun to let go of Prime, the Daxamite's vision severely blurred and disorientated. Looking desperately for Prime, Isun noticed the familiar colors and sounds of the Source Wall; its true presence being uncovered from his bloodlusted violence.

Large rocks crashed into Isun, pinning him tightly in the middle. Isun thrashed violently, trying to free himself; in the far distance he saw Prime staring at him before flying off.

Isun's veins throbbed against his face and his eyes, his pupils nearly melting themselves from the hate and power coursing through him.

He only made one promise in his entire life: to protect Earth and to kill Prime.

His solemn vow to Kara after he failed to protect her. Twice now.

"I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO DESTROY MY WORLD!" Isun roared with the primal wrath of a god. The solar energy reserves encased in his body exploded in a fiery explosion, destroying the rocks to ash as Isun sped through time, space and the Source Wall; mindlessly chasing the demon who scorned him for the last time.

"PRIME!"
