Well... It's been quite a while hasn't it? Some of you may wonder "Where were you? What happened? Why of all your stories did you update this one first?" Well, to tell you the truth I've been quite ... Stuck in life so to speak. I had little motivation to do much of anything let alone continue writing. I'd love to say I was just stuck in a rut but honestly, its more than just that. It's not even a writer's block problem its a personal problem along with a technical problem.

Few things first, I write/wrote these stories back then on an old laptop which as some knows, broke down, but a year afterwards I was able to get a hand-me-down laptop from my sis in which i continued writing the chapters in, had all the upcoming plans,ideas,drafts,future chapters in bits and pieces and everything in between on that laptop, but as fate would dictate, personal problems got to me again and by the time I was ready to write again which was somewhere around 2017-2018 the laptop along with all those plans etc,etc gave up after being abused by nonstop usage for thesis and college and what not and just stopped turning on thus... it all vanished... from the face of the earth, I tried compensating it with a phone and just write there but I can barely write words correctly while chatting on a phone, let alone a full sentence along with commas and apostrophe and such.

SO with that in mind I had to push it away for a what I thought was "a short while" while I get a Part-Time or something to get money to buy a laptop or better yet, a desktop.

And so, here we are. Didn't get to buy the laptop or the desktop for that matter due to this whole Epidemic and other problems but I was able to buy a cheapo used laptop that is definitely very slow but still somehow usable for when I need it.

TLDR;

Life got in my way of writing followed by laptop I use breaking making me lose all progress and losing interest until i get a replacement.

As for why this story gets updated first compared to others? It's purely because I feel it easier to update with fresh ideas instead of the ideas I lost. Fret not the others will be updated as soon as I rewrite them to give myself new Ideas for how the story will continue.

On a story side note, though I'm 100% sure I didn't plan this for Minato, I feel it's good to add it anyways, so basically, I know for a fact Past Me forgot to add Cu Chulainn to the "Summoned List" for some reason but I might as well use that to my advantage to give Minato a little power limit of sorts so basically, the reason why he can't use Cu Chulainn will be divulged in this chapter.

I decided to revise/retcon the past chapters to fix some inconsistencies that others has pointed out in the reviews (thanks folks.) to try and hash out and maybe smoothen up a few things.

rickyp01 I've taken it into account and have rewritten a few lines. Thanks. Please feel free to point things out. That goes with others too. I'll try to make it better/more consistent if possible.

What he did next surprised both his master and the enemy once again as he put the gun on his temple.

"What're you doing?! Archer!" Minato could easily hear the distraught evident in her voice.

"Giving up already? Where's the fun in that?" Lancer jibed but Minato only smiled at his enemy's confusion.

"This gun was never meant to shoot bullets. It's a trigger after all."

"Alright, who of you wants to test out your powers against this guy?" Minato asked out to the ones inside his head.

"Praetor! Me! I'll carve a path to victory!"

"No Hee! Use me Hee!"

"I wish to test my mettle against your foes."

And similar calls were what he received, except for Archer himself.

And then the silence was broken with the sound of a *Click* and followed by Minato yelling out

"PERSONA!"

BANG!

A Gunshot and what follows was the unexpected sound of breaking glass.

A chill instantly followed after the sounds and Lancer decided whatever was gonna happen was dangerous as he leapt as swiftly as his speed allowed him.

"GAE BU-" He was about to release his Sure-Kill move but felt a sword slicing through his neck, though it didn't happen, it was most certainly going to. "Tch!" he quickly stepped back interrupting the cast.

"That attack would've ended it all. For the both of us." Looking at Minato, his deadpanned, nonchalant look served only to unnerve and annoy Lancer but that was the least of his concern for now.

"How... How can you, a servant, have a SERVANT?!" for all its worth, Minato only shrugged off the question before the aura around him changed.

'Persona Change! Orpheus!'

"You have chosen well Praetor! Leave this one to this Emperor!" Nero exclaimed to Minato as she yelled out "Witness the majesty of thine Emperor! Kneel!"

"Wait!" but his order fell on deaf ears as Nero was already on the offensive.

'I'd have preferred to have use Cu Chulainn here but I've already used up the current limit when it comes to the Star Arcana. Summoning and weapon shifting would be possible still but... I don't think the cost would be good for me.'

"Compendium, Origin of Music, Insert Persona!" Minato called out as the gun changed shapes once again to become a small flute.

"Compendium: Weapon Mode Authorized.

Durability of chosen weapon will depend on User's Mana Pool.

Warning, mana consumption at inefficient level.

Awakened Personas insufficient for proper state to be used accordingly.

Accepted Personas for current weapon: 1.

Weapon will have 5% mana efficiency."Warning! Compendium Usage exceeds current capacity. Continuation may cause severe consequences."

'Well, that ruins that plan. I need to learn more about myself after this.' "Cancel. Agi!" Minato decided not to go with the Persona Insertion as he fires of a spell from his flute.

Meanwhile on the side...

'What exactly is going on here? A servant... With the capabilities to summon a servant?' This was an unprecedented issue that never happened even during previous grail wars.

One thing's for sure, she'll get to the bottom of this after the battle's over.

The battle was nearing its final phase with Lancer sandwiched between the red-dressed Emperor and Stoic anomaly.

"Tch, What's the deal with her? Don't ya think two versus one is a little unfair?" Lancer derided which only caused Minato to raise a brow and smirk before shrugging "Everything's fair in a war after all... Your words."

"I really don't like you. I know I lost here..." Lancer understood that a while ago but he only lost... He wasn't finished yet "but I'm taking you with me! Gae Bulg!" Minato tried to jump back but it was for naught.

"PRAETOR!" Nero slashed at Lancer causing him to fly straight to a wall as she ran towards Minato. "No point in struggling. The moment the spear was called, you're already done for."

Or at least that's how it was supposed to be.

"Impossible!"

There was Minato, standing strong "There are only a few people able to withstand or live against Gae Bulg. You're either the lucky percent or..." but before Lancer could even continue, he was once again attacked by Nero but he was ready for it this time and he was able to dodge away from the cleaving sword.

"I don't know about luck... But I'm known to reverse fate." The pressure coming from him was different. Way different than the few moments ago. The flute was again back to being a gun.

Minato was ready to overload his current self knowing that the time limit of Nero's summoning was nearing but unexpectedly, Lancer backed off.

"Tch. We'll continue this some other time." If anything can be praised, Lancer was quick. Minato sighed and released the Evoker Form.

"Praetor! It was fun to fight with you! Call me again when the opportunity arises!" As scheduled, Nero as if everything was a mirage started vanishing.

Knowing that the battle was over for the mean time Rin ran straight to Minato, he was expecting lots of questions from her.

"Home?" Rin only stared at him for a while before nodding "You have a lot to explain. I can't miss out on knowing the strengths and weaknesses of my own... Familiar. I need to setup contingency when needed."

Minato can only sigh again. This was gonna be a long time. No sleep then.
