This is set during season 6. After they know the truth about who Chris is and while Piper's bump is quite big.

Piper woke up in the middle of the night like she always did and without even bothering to check the baby monitor she rolled out of bed. On her way out of her bedroom she grabbed her dressing gown and pulled it on. She wrapped it around herself and tied it up as she headed towards Wyatt's room. Nothing was ever wrong but she always checked in on him if she woke in the middle of the night, just to be sure.

This time, however, when she reached the room someone else had beaten her to it. She leaned in the doorway, watching carefully as Chris held Wyatt in his arms, bouncing him softly. Wyatt's head was on his brother's shoulder and his eyes were drooped a little as he stayed in that haze between being awake and asleep. One of Wyatt's hands could be seen gripping Chris' shirt on the opposite shoulder. The other hand dangled into view holding Wuvey.

"It's okay," Chris cooed softly as he continued to bounce Wyatt. "No stupid demons are going to get passed me."

Wyatt's body was getting more and more relaxed. He was practically draped over Chris' shoulder now. Piper watched as he became so relaxed that his little hand loosened, letting Wuvey drop to the floor. Chris looked down at the ground. He shifted Wyatt a little, careful not to wake him, before he crouched down and picked up Wuvey.

"Come on," he said to the bear. "Let's get you both back to bed."

First he dropped Wuvey into the crib. He then moved Wyatt round to cradle him and paused for a moment. When Wyatt made no movements and continued to sleep Chris slowly lowered him into the crib. He made sure that his little, big brother was tucked in safely before he moved Wuvey up to sit in the corner of the crib closest to Wyatt's head.

Piper watched Chris lightly brush Wyatt's hair aside with his fingers. As he half-hummed a little tune she felt the little Chris kick. Her hand rubbed at her bump as she stepped into the room. The floorboards creaked below her and Chris turned instantly, using his body to shield Wyatt.

"Mom," he breathed out in relief as he relaxed. "You scared me."

"I'm sorry," she apologised as she glanced passed him at Wyatt.

He came over to stand with her and looked back at the crib. "He woke up so I was just putting him back to sleep."

"I know," she agreed. "You're good with him. That was a nice little tune."

"I, erm, I pick it up in the future," he commented, knowing he shouldn't say too much about where he got it from.

"Well you seemed to like it," Piper said as she placed a hand on her bump. "Maybe you can teach it to me?"

Chris wrapped an arm around his mother's shoulder as they left the room, thankful that he didn't have to outright say that it was her who was going to sing it to him in the future. "Sure I can, and between us tired means over the shoulder while you sing and upset means cuddles on your lap while you sing."

She smiled herself as she looked down. "I'll remember that."

Chris leaned over a little and pointed at her bump. "Now remember, mini-me, the rule is you need kick up enough fuss until she promises to sing the whole thing every single time."

Little Chris kicked at the sound of his older self's voice. Piper placed a hand on her bump and mumbled, "and I thought my pregnancy with Wyatt was strange."
