Hi Hi! I've returned once more after like a month OTL. I'm so sorry TT^TT It was Exam time last month so I had no time to write back then and this month was hell. Save me ;^; Anyhow, I'm a horrible writer because I seriously should update as soon as possible but life is unfair. On another note, this chapter went through 3 changes due to me not liking the first version, me writing the second version but Sakura Hyuga came up with other ideas and forced me to write, entire second version rendered unusable. Anyway, enpugh talk from me and on to the chapter!

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters besides Yukiko.

Once the first exam was over, we board the blimp off of the platform of the World Tree. As soon as we boarded, there was a small speech made by Poro about how we would land at the place of second phase sometime tomorrow afternoon and that room arrangements would be with our partners from the first phase, which meant I was sharing a room with Hana. I immediately moved to the window when we stepped out of the room, the World Tree and the island had already become a small dot in the midst of blue.

"Oi, Yu," I turned my head behind me, staring over at Gon and Killua who stood there waiting for me. "Let's go." The younger of the two stated, hands in his pockets.

I blinked, tilting my head in confusion. "Go where?" I asked, removing my hands from the glass that fogged up due to my breath. The white haired boy sighed, shaking his head while Gon piped up.

"We're going to eat!" My eyes must've sparkled or something at the word 'eat' because the green haired boy laughed right after and I ran up to them, grinning widely.

"Let's go! Let's go! I feel like I haven't eaten in ages!" I exclaimed happily, still feeling like I was glowing.

"Look who's going to end up fat by the end of the day." I heard Killua mutter and I hit him the back for it, letting out a pout.

"It's rude to comment on a lady's weight." Gon laughed while Killua rolled his eyes at me and I shot him a glare. This ended up with more arguing, some hitting, and Gon being peace maker as we made our way over to the cafeteria.

I was honestly surprised by how much I ate. I knew I had a large appetite in this world, especially when I was able to eat that giant plate of spaghetti in less than 30 minute back in Greed Island, not that I really paid attention to it, but I couldn't believe I was still hungry after eating about 10 plate of food. I patted my stomach. Maybe I am getting fat… I thought with a slightly depressed sigh. Actually, can I get fat in this world? In anime, it's almost impossible to get fat. I should test that out maybe. I thought, eyes widening in realization only to stop when something whacked my forehead, making me stop mid-step and I almost slipped on nothing. Placing my hand over the spot that stung, I winced slightly. "Ouch…" I went, as if whining.

"Seriously, Yu. Pay attention when we're talking at least." Killua went with a huff. I blinked, almost surprised since I had actually completely forgot about them. I was so absorbed about the fact of my weight. I inwardly sweat dropped before rubbing the back of my neck with my hand, sticking out my tongue sheepishly.

"Whoops, sorry." I apologized with a small smile, brushing my pony tail back when I dropped my hand. My eyes twitch at something and I looked over to a door that stood a distance away from us. Killua who got confused by my sudden pause turned to stare at the door, Gon doing the same. "What's that?"

"I dunno know." The green haired boy replied, walking up to the door and peeking through the circular window curiously. Oh. I mused in realization. They got taller, before, we would have to stand on our toes to be able to do that before. Following the suite, I peered through the window to see a fairly large, spacious room with the wall covered with cushions and more windows to peer outside with.

"Ah." We all went in sync, easily recognizing the room. It was similar to the room where we played that ball game with Netero in our Hunter Exam, if anything it was larger. Now that I think about, almost everything about this blimp in comparison to the one 10 years from now was larger. Without even hesitation, Gon opened up the door with a strong swing and stepped inside. I probably would've yelled out and said something about how it was rude to just intrude, but no one was in here to begin with so I guess it didn't really matter. The three of us entered the room and just stood there not really knowing what to do.

"So… what now?" Killua asked with that bored tone of his. I shrugged and Gon kinda just stood there before piping up and spinning towards us with a smile. Killua and I flinched automatically.

"Let's spar!" The enthusiastic boy exclaimed, glowing with that stupidly wide grin. I stared at him blankly, not even sure how to react to that. It took me a few seconds to snap out of it and the first thing I did was face palm.

"For god sake's, Gon." I mumbled under my breath, shaking my head slightly. But to my surprise, the white haired boy spoke.

"Sure." I snapped my head at him, giving him an 'are-you-serious?' look. He met my look and smirked and I swear I was ready to slap him right then and there. "Why not? We haven't done this in a while." I let out an annoyed sigh, closing my eyes and raking a hand through my hair. When I opened them, I was met with Gon giving me that puppy eye look, begging for me to agree and dang this guy. I still can't say no that that. I groaned.

"Fine. But first, someone has to do something about my hair." I complained, pointing at my long blob of brown that was stuck to my head. The two boys blinked, glancing at each other before Gon ended up doing it for me. I sat on the floor, cross legged, while the green haired boy was on his knees doing something to my hair. I could feel him twirling and pulling slightly, but I really had no idea what he was doing to me.

"There we go." I blinked, actually surprised how quick that was and looked over to Killua, using my eyes to ask him for an opinion. His blue orbs started at me for a long time before he turned his head away from me, covering his face. I raised an eyebrow at the reaction. It can't be that bad.

Swiping out my phone to use the camera app as a mirror, I gazed at my reflection almost surprised. "Cute…" I muttered under my breath. Though I didn't want to seem self-centered or anything by calling myself cute, I couldn't help. Gon had somehow put my thick hair into a bun, tying it up with my hair tie and then ribbon. It must've been the ribbon that made it so cute. My purple ribbon was tied with a giant bow that sat at the back of my head. "Wow, thanks, Gon. When did you learn how to make a bun?" I asked, tilting my head. I actually have never done this kind of hairstyle on myself, whenever I tried, it was always failed attempt.

"I learned from Alluka." I saw Killua tense from the corner of my eyes, glaring at the green haired boy. I inwardly laughed. Over protective brother. Pulling myself up to my feet, I walked over to Killua, forcing myself into his view. He jolted and tensed.

"What do you think?" I asked, tilting my head slightly. I smiled at the dust of pink that went over his cheeks. He mumbled something but I couldn't hear it. I raised an eyebrow. "Say again?"

"…Cinnamon bun…" I blinked, stared, and stood there frozen for a moment before bursting out laughing.

"Killua that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard about a woman's hairstyle." I went between laughs, tears forming at the corner of my eyes. I almost hit the floor from laughing so hard. My bun looks like a cinnamon bun… I repeated in my head, laughing harder.

"Gah, Shut up!" Killua yelled embarrassedly while Gon turned his head away to chuckle, facing the former's wrath instantly. Finally calming down, panting heavily already and rubbing my eyes, I got on my way to break the fight that was still going on between the two males. Once it ended, we began are sparring session.

"Ok, so we're doing a three way battle between the three of us. And let's try not to seriously damage each other or the blimp. Oh! And no using Nen abilities. But Ten, Ren, Kou and that stuff are allowed." I explained as Gon, Killua and I stood at three different points, a somewhat equal distance between us. The two boys nodded their heads, an excited gleam in both their eyes. I smirked at this.

"Ok, Start!" All of us with the same ideas started off with a dash, pushing off the ground with the help of Nen, denting the floor in an instant. Wow, what happened to not trying to damage the blimp. Meeting in the center, Gon was the first to arrive and immediately went for a swing kick. Since we were in dash and practically levitating above ground, it was somewhat impossible to stop with our speed and force. So I ducked, getting into a sliding position and aimed a kick for the green haired teen's ankle. He on the other hand dodged, by jumping into the air. I blinked in surprise. While I had ducked, Killua decided to jump, meeting Gon in the air and entering some sort of fist fight in mid-air.

Dang these guys, they definitely trained while I was gone! How unfair! I thought, gritting my teeth while I smile. The two boys hit the ground, landing at the same time and I aimed a kick at Killua's opened back, honestly surprised when I made contact and sent him flying slightly. Sadly, I didn't have a chance to be happy about the blow when Gon came at me, aiming a punch for the face. I raised my arms up, the leg I used to kick the white haired teen just touching the ground when the other male hit me, and I slid back with one knee touching the floor. Woah! That hurt! I thought in surprise. I used to be able to handle one of Gon's punches, as long as it wasn't Jajanken, but now my arms were trembling. Killua, who was back on his feet, aimed for me and jumped to avoid his attack, flipping and spinning in the air. Spotting the eldest of the group standing there, probably planning to hit Killua somehow, I swung my leg down to hit him. He quickly regained his focus and blocked my kick with his arms crossed.

"Woah, Yukiko!" Gon went, amber orbs wide in surprise. I was slightly surprised by how quickly he reacted to that, even though he seemed to be lost in his thoughts. I let out a small laugh.

"Pay more attention, Gon!" I replied, grinning while he grinned back. He pushed me up with his arms and I did a few more flips but was taken by surprise when Killua popped up behind me. He aimed a punch at me and I countered it with a kick. We both hit the floor and I took a step back for balance, my hand skimming the ground to stop myself from sliding. Feeling Gon's large presence behind me, I lowered myself to the ground. Before I could recover to a position where I could probably move, Killua sent me a flying kick and I barely managed to block it, sliding back again from the force and my back hit the cushioned wall with a crack. I winced. Obviously, it wasn't my back that cracked but the wall. Whoops, I hope we don't have to pay for that. Pushing myself off the wall, I made another dash like before charging for the two boys and punching them both in the side. They rather blocked it or dealt with it, Gon being former and Killua doing the latter and aimed a kick from either side of me. I jumped to dodge, using their legs as a base to jump again and to create some distance. The two boys also jumped away from each other and we were once again in our starting positions.

I wiped the thin line of sweat from my forehead, making sure to keep an eye on both of them. Dang, I can't believe I'm already sweating. My body feels kinda rusty or something, and my endurance seems lower than usual. My coordination and balance is pretty bad too. And these guys have much more experience than I do now. Seriously, I didn't think it was possible to get weaker. I let out an inaudible sigh. This sucks. I went in my head as I ducked, already noticing the attack Gon was aiming at me, and moved to his open side to punch his stomach. He counter attacked it by grabbing my arm and flipping me like it was a judo move or something. I gasped in pain when I hit the floor. Gon's eyes widened in realization, thinking he really terribly hurt me and opened his mouth to apologize. Taking the opening he so honestly gave me, feeling kinda bad about it, I gripped the green haired boy's wrist with the hand that was still being held by his, lift myself from the ground without my arms, semi-surprised that I managed it, and flung him at Killua's direction and hit them both. I feel bad…

"Yukiko! That was mean!" "Oi, what was that for?!" Gon and Killua yelled respectively and I let out a sheepish laugh.

"Whoops. Sorry." I apologized light heartedly, though I did feel bad. But this was a fight so… I blinked, instinctively stepping back when the two dashed straight at me. "Oi! Now that's mean!" I shouted at them, bring my arms up to block the blow from both the boys and we ended up in a close ranged fight, me being in a double disadvantage because the other two were teaming up against me, how unfair, and two being that I'm the worse out of us three at hand-to-hand combat. I took a step back to find my ground when the two were beginning to push me back.

Suddenly, my foot slipped from underneath me and I gasped in surprise, watching as the world flipped and I banged my head against the ground, making me let out another gasp in pain. Next was a hit on my leg and I realized that it was Gon who must've tripped, actually, maybe I kicked his leg from under him on accident. The teen hit the floor with a thud on top of me and I winced at the contact. Killua was next, tripping over Gon, probably from surprise of us randomly falling and landing on the very top with an ouf. In the end, we were in some sort dog pile with me on the bottom, Gon in the middle and Killua on top. I gasped once more, struggling to breath.

"Get off!" I yelled in somewhat pain because god dang it, these guys were heavy! The two boys scrambled off me, even if we were sparring, that by no means mean we were going to make each other pass out or break a bone or something. I let out a sigh of relief, placing a hand on my stomach, moving up to my ribs. Oh, it feels bruised. I thought with a wince as I put pressure on to my rib cage and sat up.

"Are you ok, Yukiko?" Gon asked with that worried look in his eyes as always. I nodded with a smile.

"What did you even slip on?" The white haired boy asked and I shrugged. "Wow, what a klutz." He teased and I shot him a glare and pout.

"Rude. Be a gentleman and help me up." I demanded, sticking my hand out at him. He laughed, grabbing my outstretched hand and pulling me up. I flinched at how fast he was to pull me up; usually it takes a while to help someone off the ground.

"There you go, milady." I rolled my eyes, a smile coming on to my face at the comment Killua made with a smirk. Shaking my head, I let out a soft sigh.

"So, shall we continue?"

We were now lying on the floor side by side, breathless, panting, and drenched in sweat. We probably sparred for hours and I was impressed by how long their Nen endurance was. I used to have the longest time of withstanding my Nen, but those two trained and extended their time to 5 hours maybe? Possibly more while I was stuck with my 3-ish hour endurance.

"T…That was unfair." Gon stated through a number of pants. I would've glared if I could. It was more unfair on my side!

"What are you… talking about?" Killua asked, an annoyed tone in his exhausted voice.

"You and Yukiko… Ganged up on me!" The other male exclaimed, whining and I could see he was pouting.

"Well, you almost used Jajanken!" The white haired teen shot back accusingly, waving a lazy finger at the boy. I rolled my eyes. Though he was right, Gon had almost done so, going as far as collecting his Nen into his fist. I kicked him in the face before he let it out although. But the speed it took for him to get all his Nen into his fist felt quicker than before, I was almost unsure I was going to make it.

"Killua, you almost used your Nen abilities, too." I stated simply and I heard a 'tch' as I closed my eyes tiredly.

"Whose side are you on, Yukiko?!" Ah, he called me by my name this time. I thought with a slight sigh. Recently, he's been calling me by my nickname all of sudden, I don't really know why. I never bothered correcting him for it.

"My own side. After all, Gon, you and Killua ganged up on me, too." I saw the green haired boy tense from the corner of my eyes before letting out a nervous laugh. I let out a groan. "I should've got a handicap; you guys got stronger while I was gone. No fair." I went on with my own complaints.

"Huh? But Yu, it felt like you got better, too!"

"You're exaggerating Gon, I don't get a chance to practice Nen and stuff in my world."

"It wouldn't have been fair if you got a handicap!"

"It was unfair that I didn't get a handicap. I could barely keep up with you guys. In endurance or strength or even agility. Ugh… I'm so weak now… Actually, no. You guys are too strong!"

"Eh?! Yukiko, that's mean!"

"Don't push your own weakness onto us, Yu!"

"But it's true! It was practically a fight between you two only!"

"But you were still a part of it, so it wasn't!"

"Gon. Please don't use that logic against me." And before we knew it, we were arguing like little kids while lying on the ground exhausted. It felt like that time of the first part of the first phase from our Hunter Exam, arguing about who arrived to the finish line first and had to treat them to dinner. It had ended in a draw and Gon came up with this weird situation where I got him and Killua dinner and Gon would give Killua and me dinner while Killua would treat Gon and me to dinner. Before I knew it, I was smiling while listening to the two boys argue about if this spar had a winner and who it was or was not. I let out a small laugh, gentle and soft to the point that typically no one would be able to hear it. But of course, I was in between and assassin and a boy with enhanced hearing, and they stopped in the middle of their argument and turned to look at me, raising themselves up from the ground with their arms.

"What's so funny, Yukiko?" Gon asked me with curiosity as always. My smile widened slightly.

"Nothing. It's just… This is just so much fun!" The two boys blinked at me. "Being able to do stupid things, being able to argue over stupid things, being able to think about stupid things, I didn't think I'd be able to do it again. It's fun." The two boys once again blinked, looked over at each other before Gon grinned that regular smile of his while Killua sighed at me, shaking his head at me in disbelief.

"Yeah, it's fun! It's much more fun with you around again." My eyes widened again at what the green haired boy said, without any shame as always, before I let out a smile of my own and nodded.

"Yeah!"

I gasped and a shiver crawled up my spine when I splashed myself with cold water. "Uwah… Cold…" I whined softly, using a towel that Killua had gave me from somewhere to pat my face dry. I let out a huff, wiping my skin clean of any sweat or water before swing it around my neck. I stared at my reflection in the mirror, before moving my eyes upwards to the messy brown bun. It's a cinnamon bun… I thought with a laugh. After pulling and untying a few things, I somehow managed to get my hair out of Gon's bun without it ending up in some tangled mess before retying it into a high ponytail. My regular ponytail just won't work anymore with the length of my hair now. Ugh, how do I even deal with this thing? I thought, swinging my hair over my shoulder and combing my fingers through it.

I stepped out of the girl's washroom with another sigh, I don't know why I've been sighing so much recently, maybe I'm just tired. I glanced at my phone that I clicked on once taken out of my pocket, the numbers '11:47' flashing on the screen. It was pretty late after all. I took another step and was immediately surprised by the burst of cold air that blew against me. I shivered. "Cold!"

"Haha! Sorry, Yu." Killua laughed and I pouted at him for teasing me, as always.

"Look, look, Yukiko! We can open the windows!" Gon announced and I turned my head to face him before staring at the open space he was pointing out, blinking out of surprise. So that's where the air was from. I walked up to the opened window and peered out, looking at the blimp wings and engine then to the ground that was very far away, glowing with lights from cities. I leaned out a bit more, wanting to see more and get closer if possible. But then, I felt myself tip outwards. Eh…? I thought as I froze, eyes widening.

"Wah! Yukiko!" I heard the two boys from behind me shout and I was flung backwards from strong arms around my waist. I hit the floor with a heavy thud and I winced.

"Well, that was close. Ouch!" I was so close of being relieved when the white haired boy flicked my forehead, hard enough so my head snapped back. "That hurt!"

"It was supposed to hurt! Seriously, how can you become such an idiot in half a year, wait! You've always been one!" The boy yelled back and I felt a tick mark pop on my head.

"What was that?! If you don't remember, you were more of an idiot while I was still around, idiot!" I went, stretching the word 'idiot' at the end. This obviously, as always, led to a giant heated argument of calling each other idiots, reminding each other of the stupid things we've done, some whacking and slapping, and the possibility of it becoming a full out brawl when I ended up tackling Killua to the ground. Gon had somehow managed to get it to stop. How? I have no idea.

Sitting on the bench, leaning my face on my arms, I watched as the scenery passed by peacefully. We were silent Gon and Killua on either side of me and I let out a breath of air. The silence wasn't awkward, it never has been if it was the three of us, no matter how different we were. I let out a soft sigh, as I watched the scenery change with every passing second. Suddenly, Gon piped up the way he always did.

"Ne, Killua!" I turned my head over to the green haired boy and then the boy who was called out.

"What?" The white haired boy asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion at the boy.

"Tell us the story about how you left home again!" There was a long pause as we started at Gon blankly, practically sparkling and smiling his head off. Killua sputtered.

"Wha- Why?!" He asked as I shook my head at this. Gon really came up with the weirdest idea.

"Because we haven't heard it in a long time!" Gon whined, letting out a pout. I sighed but then thought that it would be nice to hear the story again, so I turned over to the white haired teen.

"Yeah, tell it to us again." Killua tensed, surprised that I was siding with Gon before sighing, his sapphire eyes darting around to see if anyone was eaves dropping, and then shrugged.

"Fine." He grumbled and I smiled while the green haired boy let out a small cheer beside me, making me laugh slightly.

"So…"

I stood in front of my bedroom door that I was sharing with my 10 years in the past aunt. It was on the second level of the blimp, so after getting lost for a bit because we had no idea where the stair case was, we finally found our separate rooms. After Killua retold the story of how he left home to take the Hunter Exam and realized how childish he was for a bit, making Gon and I laugh, the green haired boy decided to tell us stories of his own adventures since we split. I learned more about this world once again, hearing more about different things that were happening since the past half year. Not that it mattered since we were ten years in the past, but nonetheless. We talked on and on, sharing stories after stories for what seemed like hours and really was. It was already 2 something in the morning and we never would've realized it if Gon hadn't fallen asleep in the middle of his story telling, even though it was hilarious. Patting down on my pockets, I let out a frown when I didn't hear the clinking of my key.

"What's wrong, Yu?" Killua's voice went and I turn around with a pout. Gon had went off first, us forcing him to since he was way too tired to be even moving about.

"I can't find my key." I replied simply, continuing to search through my pockets before looking through my bag. I was sure I put it somewhere after we were given them from the speech from the first examiner. The white haired teen raised an eyebrow at me, in somewhat disbelief.

"Seriously, what is up with you screwing up?" I hit him for that, glaring daggers. He is not helping.

"Shut up. I must've dropped them or something." I then sighed. "Ugh, it's going to take ages to find it." I whined out of annoyance. If I had to rewind my steps, it would practically be impossible. For all I know, it might've been crushed when Killua stepped on my bag while we were sparring on accident.

"Well, you have no choice but to find it if you want to sleep in there." The boy stated, shrugging his shoulders in a non-caring way. I let out another groan, before realizing something.

"Oh, I'll just go find Hana! She has a key!" I said happily, letting a grin come on to my face. Killua on the other hand frowned, and did this guy have to have a grudge against my aunt. The male teen huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. I rolled my eyes at the action, letting out a huff if my own. "Mou, Killu. I get that you hate her but she's my aunt and she hasn't done any actually harm, heck! Her job is to keep me safe."

Killua merely sighed, probably not even wanting to argue with me now, after all, we've been arguing all day, and grabbed my hand. I blinked and almost felt the heat rush up to my cheeks. "Hurry up, let's go find that witch."

After wandering to the cafeteria, control pit, kitchen, halls, empty rooms and everywhere really, Hana was nowhere to be found. I let out an annoyed sigh.

"I'm sleepy!" I whined, badly wanting to act like a spoiled child and throw myself to the ground. Obviously, I didn't because I didn't want to be seen as a kid and the fact that if I did that, I'll be throwing Killua to the ground as well. Which wasn't all that bad actually. Ugh, when did I become so mean?

"Yeah, yeah." The white haired teen went, not really caring about my whines or anything. As a response, I let out a pout and another groan.

"Where is Hana anyway?" I asked to no one, and of course, no one replied. The boy who was still holding onto my hand let out a sigh.

"Let's head back to your room. Maybe she's there." He stated simply, continuing to drag me about. I blinked. It was a reasonable guess, I mean where else would she be. Heck, I never even knocked on the door; she might've been there the entire time! I inwardly sweat dropped at my stupidity.

With that we walked back to where my room was and soon enough, we were in front of my door. I took a step closer and basically lightly tapped the door and to my surprise, the door opened up slight with a click. Killua and I stared blankly at the door, not even sure how to react. What the heck?! The door was so frail; I could've just hit it to open it?! I thought in disbelief. I could've went into an extreme fit, but by now my body was too tried to even do so. I opened the door wider, letting out another tired sigh and I felt Killua follow behind me.

"I'm b-" I froze as I stared at the scene in front of me, the white haired teen yelling at me slightly for stopping suddenly and was about to yell at me before his own eyes widen and he froze as well. "Wha-" I barely went.

"Welcome back!" Hana greeted us cheerfully, an innocent, most likely fake smile on her face. I ignored her for a bit staring at the other person station behind her, staring at us with an expressionless look. Illumi just sat there, holding my aunt's blond locks in his hands, in the middle of twisting and turning it. W-Why the heck is Illumi braiding Hana's hair?! I stared at them blankly, trying to process the scene. Hana was sitting on the inner bed that was against the wall, probably claiming it as hers, with a relaxed look on her face as the eldest Zoldyck son sat behind her, merely staring at us but I felt like he was killing us in his head. But he was just, just braiding her hair! Why? How? When? I know that Illumi tends to listen to my aunt, but seriously, what is this? My mouth opened and I tried to say something that made sense but nothing came out of my lips from shock. I couldn't even process what was going on here. I heard a thud beside me. I think Killua just fainted. I went in my head.

"W-Wha- You know what, never mind. Good bye." I went after finally managing to say something properly but gave up because I don't even want to know anymore while shaking my head in disbelief, trying to get this scaring image out of my head. Illumi was braiding Hana's hair, Illumi was braiding Hana's hair, Illumi was braiding Hana's hair. Was all that was going through my head as I slammed the door closed behind me.

What has the world come to?
