Author Note: Sorry! I had to change the title, because it's been bugging me that after I wrote the story it turned out he had Three Parents.
This is a short epilogue to wrap up the situation with Ares (who may or may not be in the next story), and introduce a character who has been mentioned before (*smile*). The original timelines of the movies will be messed up, because I prefer it that way so please just go with it. The idea behind the epilogue is to show you where everything is at in the story timeline. Also this will give you an idea of what will happen in the next story since it will be a continuation because not a lot of time will have passed (maybe a few days). The sequel/continuation of this story will be titled The Law of Three and if you are interested in why I want to title it that? You can google "the law of three" and there you go. I will be posting the Prologue of The Law of Three shortly after I post this Epilogue to The Son of Three.
You guys are awesome! So I wanted to make sure I answered some of your questions posted in the reviews and here it goes:
(Please don't hate me for saying this again) Yes there will be a sequel, but it will not be posted as more chapters to this story. Yes the next story will still have to do with the Percy Jackson series but on a smaller scale, and will be posted as a Harry Potter/Avengers crossover. Yes Percy, Luke and other characters will be included in the next story (*Mwahaha*)(Oops! Sorry my evil mastermind is showing, but it's like Megamind, not Moriarty, so it's cool). No Neo definitely won't agree with the Asgardians on some things. Yes the story will be listed as complete once I have posted the epilogue, and I'm sorry I confused everyone when I said that chapter 7 was the last chapter because technically it was as you're not supposed to count the prologue and epilogue (you can thank my literature teacher for that. She and I actually had a small disagreement over that subject once, and thanks to my ingrained respect for authority figures I yielded to her due to her years of teaching the subject, but there is a different between knowledge and wisdom).
This is actually a pretty happy and sappy epilogue so I don't need to put up a warning ;)

The Son of Three
Epilogue
*Olympus-Throne Room*
Zeus sat in his throne, while Hera sat beside him speaking in low tones and caressing her husband's hand in a soothing way. They both looked up as Ares came into the room. The god of War marched stiffly up to the thrones and knelt before the King and Queen of Olympus. Zeus pressed his back against his golden throne and eyed his son critically.
"Rise my son," Zeus commanded.
Ares stood tall, ready to face his Father's wrath.
"You have disappointed me, Ares, and as punishment you will be stripped of your powers over War, banished from Olympus, and sent to the mortal plan before the Sun sets on the morrow. As I am not without mercy, while on Earth you will retain your strength, skills and immortality, as you work to protect humanity for the next century. In that time you will not be able to raise your weapon unless it is to protect yourself or another. But you will not be sent to Camp Half-Blood. Instead you will be entrusted into the care of…an acquaintance of mine." Zeus stated. "You can only return when your 100 year exile is over or until I feel you have learned to act honorably and with humility, whichever comes first."
Hera walked up to her son, "You will always be a god of Olympus, my son. I hope you will come to understand that you are a good warrior, but you are not a great warrior yet. A great warrior does battle so that he can protect those he loves. A warrior fights with honor and respect even for his enemy. This is what your father wishes for you to learn. You are the god of War, feared by the enemies of those who fight under your banner, but you are also feared by those who fight in your name. Learn and grow from this and become the greatest god of Warriors and Heroes that will ever exist. My wish is that you become a god to be honored more than you are feared. Soon stories will be written of the gods again, and I hope that your name will be among those who are revered." She finished what she had to say and hugged Ares lovingly. Even after the hug was over Hera stayed close to him as she circled her arms around Ares arm.
The words of his mother stung Ares pride terribly, but ever since the meeting with the Son of Hermes Ares has been thinking. The young god may have been on to something when he spoke of the hearts of his children. Ares had seen something great in Clarisse as well, that was the reason he gave her the spear. His other sons and daughters had not merited his respect due to their need to cause violence instead of having a true cause to fight for. He had taken the hour since the council meeting to think over the things he was finally able to see in hind-sight. If his children were a reflection of him, he could see the disappointment that he had become, for that is often how he viewed his own children. He hated to look into his Father's and Mother's eyes now, and see that he was someone to be disappointed in as well. Fortunately for him, even Ares could suck-up his pride and realize what others saw in him.
"I concede your decision and accept my punishment, Father. I will leave tomorrow and I will strive to make you proud of me again, Lord Zeus, Mother," Ares bowed his head and turned to kiss Hera's cheek before he gently pushed her hands away.
"Then you are dismissed. When you are ready to leave the gods will be there to see you off. Hermes will then take you to the place where you will be staying for the next century. While there you are charged with the protection of all who reside there." Zeus gave a nod of dismissal toward the door and Ares quickly left.
*Earth-New York*
The early dawn sun had barely risen causing long shadows to creep across the ground, but the morning had long since started for most. There were plenty of people out and about already.
New York City has a population of over eight million people, so it's safe to say that its culture is diverse and many of its citizens have encountered others with different styles and tastes. But this fact didn't stop people from watching the gorgeous, yet slightly stranger than normal, woman who was walking in the direction of central park that morning.
As the woman, who as mentioned before seemed slightly strange with her long white hair and gothic style dress, walked onto the grass of central park her steps became lighter and she almost skipped over to the closest sitting area.
Taking a seat on one side of a pair of benches that had been placed back to back Azrael Nightshade waited patiently for her old friend to show up. It didn't take long until another figure who was hidden behind the shadow of a tree sat down on the other bench facing away from her.
Azrael smiled happily when she felt his presence, she loved her old friend more than anything else, he was completely different from her but they where two sides of the same coin and she wouldn't have him any other way.
"It's good to see you're still as happy as always, dear. I'm sorry it took so long for us to have a chance to sit down together," the figure behind her said, his masculine voice was soft and gentle carrying a tone that was clearly full of love for the one he spoke to.
"Hah, don't be silly, you don't have to apologize. I know it's not your fault but if you really want to make it up to me you should start by getting your handsome self over here," she said teasingly. Her request made the man laugh as he stood and walked around the bench to sit next to her. Azrael felt a since of complete happiness as she leaned into his side. "Besides, even if I wanted to, I couldn't blame it all on you. I've been a little busy too lately. You know what's been going on, right Zach?"
Netzach Vanguard, or Zach as Azrael usually referred to him while they were out, curled his right arm around her shoulders and with his left hand made her raise her chin to look deep into his knowing black eyes before he let go. As her glittering emeralds met his dark black pools she was sucked into their beautiful depths just like every time she gazed upon her golden haired mate.
"Yes, I always have my eye on you, because I never know what trouble you're going to get into next," he teased.
"Hey now! I don't go looking for trouble, it does a perfectly good job of finding me all on its own, thank you," Azrael's voice had turned slightly annoyed and Netzach raised his left hand to ward off her ire.
"I know, love, I know. I was only teasing. But to answer your question, I have been watching your young Champion and he is doing well. It won't be long before he has reached his full potential and become a master of his fate. I only hope that he will become the Hero we need him to be." Zach's last words were laced with a hint of concern.
Azrael just leaned further into his warm body. "He is getting better every day, and I know he will be a great Hero. We just need to give him some time. He still has some growing to do," she replied gentle and took his left hand in both of hers.
Closing her eyes, Azrael sighed contently, "How long do you have?"
"Technically, all the time in the world," Netzach gently squeezed her shoulders and laid his head on top of Azrael's, "but I have a "meeting" this evening, so I can't stay too long."
"Then just a few more minutes," she whispered as they continued to cuddle in the park. It may be a little too sappy but these were the moments Azrael enjoyed the most.
*Death's Realm*
In the end they sat in the park for almost an hour before Netzach woke his precious mate and bid her goodbye. Azrael had returned to her abode, where she resumed her obligations as Death once again. She may be one of the two most ancient entities of vast power and knowledge, but she always looked forward to the times she was able to sit quietly and enjoy her mate's company like humans do.
Her reminiscing was interrupted by the appearance of a familiar spirit. Elric stood in the shadows cast by the fire light silently waiting for Death to acknowledge him.
"Did you need something, Elric?" Death asked without looking at the spirit.
"I am only here to report that my Lords Sanctuary is complete. All of the other spirits and I have worked hard in preparing it, and the Sorcerer has finished connecting the grounds of the Sanctuary to the designated area outside of the city. He was successful in creating a dimensional rift connecting the Sanctuary, and through it Eternia, to the Earth my Master inhabits. I was informed that it is a simple matter of breaking the connection to insuring the safety of Eternia, something my Lord should be able to do easily once he knows how." Elric replied in his calm voice.
"That is good news. I will meet with the Ancient One so that the dimensional wards will be placed into my care for now. I will also be adding a little extra," she said with a smirk. "Only those who are welcome and need sanctuary will ever be able to enter. I will not have the home of my Champion in Jeopardy."
She straightened in her chair. Then a table with a pen and piece of paper on it appeared and she started to write something, "On another note, since everything is ready you will be able to join him now. When you do I have something for you to do. You will give this to him," she said while placing the paper into a folder, which had come from nowhere, and handing the folder to Elric.
*Break*
The clock moves ever forward for most, but for some it moves…in a different way. Fate gazed out at the constantly expanding Multi-verse and felt indifferent. Not only could Fate see the vast Cosmos made up of every Universe and Dimension, but Fate could see the Past, Present, and Future. For sometime now the ever unfolding dimensions that weave through each other and create the fabric of existence have seemed so bland and tedious. But one spark of exciting change filled the vast workings of "Everything".
Yes, Neo Evan Thorson the Master of Death was a new little twist to the thickening plot. He would make sure that things were not so boring for a while.
This new god was young but had greater experience than most. Oh, he would do great things indeed. He had shown that by completing his quest to save his brother while at the same time setting to rights the wrongs done against two of the children of Loki. Fate watched as Neo's ever changing future stirred the fates of those he came into contact with.
It was beautiful to Fate, chaotic perhaps but that was what made it so beautiful. As a cosmic entity of immeasurable proportions it was still not easy for Fate to make changes, even for the better. Only a person who was not completely ruled by Fate was capable of changing the future. Fate would look after this young god, oh with a very close and careful eye, so that when the possibilities are spread before him the young god can make all of the right choices. Neo had been doing a great job on his own so Fate would trust this young ones judgment.
Still, Fate watched what would come. In the next fifteen days on Asgard the sorceress Amora would be plotting and cleverly tricking the Thunderer into inciting war between two of the Nine Realms. Asgard and Jotunheim were notorious in their dislike of one another and it would not take much to cause a war. Death's little Champion would have his work cut out for him. Then again he would have help in the form of the three Norse gods who currently were taking up residence in his tent.
Loki, Jormungadr, and Fenrir would also help their young family member become one of the mightiest heroes of the Earth. Fate watched still seeing the tragedy that would come but any worry was soothed with the knowledge that all would turn out right in the end. Both his old family and new would make Neo Thorson a great warrior and an even greater man.
'Oh, this is going to be good,' Fate thought as the Multi-verse continued to spin.
*Unknown Location in the Galaxy*
A lone figure sat on a floating throne watching the starry Galaxy around him. It had been a long time since his creation. One Universe had died and here he was his old world gone and he was forced to exist in this new time and space. Thanos was sent from one Universe and into another. He has thought of what went wrong, why he hadn't died before, and why he was still alive now.
At first he thought that Death had rejected him, but that could never be the case. He believed himself to be the greatest of all beings and his thoughts had never even considered that he would be forgotten. Thanos may not know the truth but he was convinced that Death had spared him because she, and he knew it was a "she", wanted to keep him for herself. The idea that this "second life" being a chance at something greater and not a punishment made him treasured Death as much as she obviously treasured him. Yes he was sure that Death was saving him and that when he proved his love for her, she would accept him with open arms. It had taken him a while to figure out what she had wanted from him and how he would win her favor, but he had come up with a plan. To court "his" Death properly he needed to give her something that she wanted. Thanos was sure she wanted the souls of all those who lived so he would give them to her. He would destroy every planet and kill every living soul in the Universe, then Death would be free to spend her time with him.
As Thanos sat thinking of his plan he grinned evilly. He would have Death and destroy Life to do it.
Author Note: And there he sits that delusional arse Thanos, the Mad Titan, on his throne just smirking away. You know for a powerful being like him he should still consider staying in shape, because it would be really embarrassing if he got his but kicked just because he let himself go. That's just my thoughts.
Alright readers, this is your fan-fiction author speaking, it's going to be one heck of a roller coaster ride in the Prologue of the next story so hold onto your butts and enjoy the ride. Remember the new story is The Law of Three.
