A/N: Lots of original stuff for you guys in this chapter! Hope you like it!

I'm planning on starting other stories so MBAV tv show will be put on hold for a moment but I'm thinking that when I have time, for MBAV, I think I'm going to do the tv series as new stories rather than adding them to this one…I think. I'm still debating.

Let me know what you think: Would you as the reader want to read a continuation or would you want to start new?

**I don't own anything except my OC and whatever convoluted thing that's not recognizable from the actual plot line. Also whatever else I decide to add – be it by someone else – all rights to him or her…them lol.

I glanced back at Benny as I pulled into Ethan's driveway to see him lying down across the seats half asleep.

"Benny?" Ethan called turning back in his seat to shake Benny awake, "Benny, I'm going to call your grandma to come get you, okay?"

"HmmKay." Benny blinked turning to face me, "Come with?"

"Sorry sweetie, definitely after we take down my evil vampire grandpa hell bent on destroying the world." I leaned over after shutting off the car to give him a quick peck on the lips, blushing when he pulled me back down for a longer kiss.

"Guys, come on. We've got four minutes to save the world," turning back to open his door Ethan called over his shoulder to Benny, "You hang tough, okay?"

As Ethan and I got out of the car he pulled out his phone and called Grandma Weir and told her, very awkwardly may I add, that Benny was passed out in the car before hanging up.

"Now that was just painful to watch." I laughed as we jogged towards the tree in his backyard, "You are so awkward Ethan, what are Benny and I going to do with you?"

"Uh so Clare, about you and Benny-"

"Don't you dare even try to give me dating advice E, if you get into a serious relationship that lasts for at least a year then maybe just maybe you can give me advice on something not important…well…I don't think even then, Benny and I know each other pretty well, I'm surprised-"

"Clare! Not what I was going to say."

"Oh?"

"Yeah," Ethan shook his head and grabbed my wrist bringing me to a stop a good distance in front of the tree, "You, Benny, and I have been best friends since forever and it's just…"

I waited for him to continue as he drifted off.

"It's just what?" I placed my hand on his shoulder, "What's wrong Ethan?"

Looking up in front of him he muttered, "I never did like that tree."

"Funny how they name streets after what they tore down to build them." A voice came from behind me, when I turned around I saw Jesse strolling towards us with his fangs in view, his eyes shining bright blue, and the nest of souls in his hand, "This used to be an orchard; one of my favorite spots to come to with…" he drifted off a bit looking towards me and getting a sad look in his eyes before turning back to look at Ethan with malice, "until your idiot ancestors burned my flock alive."

"Yeah?" Ethan inched a little closer, "Well, I'd say their only mistake was not finishing the job."

Jesse scoffed and looked down at the Cubile animus before looking back up at us and smirking. Holding up the box he said, "You made me miss my target, so the rest of my flock may have to wait a little longer. That's fine. I still have enough Dusker souls here to resurrect a few dozen of the most powerful vampires that ever lived. And you'll have the honour of being their first midnight snack." He pointed to Ethan and held out his hand towards me, "Clare, come here."

"Hell no."

Rolling his eyes, Jesse took a step forwards and was about to say something again when Ethan interrupted, "Well, you won't have to wait," I glanced towards Ethan to see him lean down, "because I'm going to reunite you with your flock right now. Just not in this world." Ethan chuckled as he drew the dagger and then groaned as it flew from his hands. I looked back over at Jesse and then at Ethan who seemed to be struggling for some reason.

"Ethan?"

"Don't Clare," Jesse said holding his hand out. Looking back over to him I finally realized that Jesse must have been using some power like the Force to keep Ethan down. "You know…it's funny, I knew your grandfather's grandfather. He was a loser too." Jesse chuckled softly.

"Gramps!" I yelled as Benny suddenly came from no where yelling out, "Courage!"

Jesse and I were both distracted for a second before he turned around to grab Benny and toss him towards me. I didn't even have time to register what happened until I was already on the ground being smushed by Benny. All three of us groaned, Benny and I had knocked Ethan over as well.

Oops.

"Sorry, bud." Benny said to Ethan as he shoved us off him. Which probably took a lot of strength seeing as how Benny and I combined could totally crush Ethan's tiny frame. "You know," Benny who was still on top of me smirked, "I'm not really sorry about this."

"That's enough of that! Get off her dork." Jesse exclaimed, "Never mind, he's going to be the first to die." He said pointing his hand at Benny and raising the Cubile animus towards the blood moon, "The hour of rebirth has come. Brothers, sisters, arise!"

This couldn't be happening, isn't good supposed to defeat evil? Come on Clare, this isn't Once Upon A Time, this is real life. Maybe Jesse's meant to win?

Sarah's sudden appearance and battle cry distracted Jesse as he tossed the box away from him and into Ethan's waiting hands. Sarah had shoved Jesse up against the tree with her quick entrance but he had quickly turned them around so she was pressed against the tree with her feet dangling.

I gasped, the book! How could I be so stupid! I swallowed hard and glanced around to see if anyone was paying attention, of course Benny is. Leaning in a whispered, "Stall him," and before he could say anything I quickly made my way over to the house and rushing in ignoring the yells from the boys outside.

"Grandma Weir?! Jane?!" I whisper yelled as she and Jane step out from the kitchen, thankfully, Grandma Weir holding the spell book in her hands.

"Clare, what happened with the vampires? The book-"

"Sorry, no time to explain! Evil blood sucking gramps about to destroy my boyfriend," I paused, "that is not a sentence I thought I would ever say."

"Jane? Come with me and Clare, let's go get this leech." Grandma Weir walked over as I flipped to the bookmarked page I had been reading in the car.

"Here it is! Quickly! He's hurting Sarah!" I show them the lighting spell I was looking at as we got to the porch. "Hey!" I yelled out getting everyone's attention.

"Alma, alphras, alnok, gatran!" the three of us read together and pointed to Jesse who looked confused. Suddenly a bolt of lighting struck him in the middle of his chest causing him to let go of Sarah. I ushered Grandma Weir and Jane back in the house and ran over to Sarah as she started to fall to the ground still weak from being blood dehydrated and Jesse's attempted murder.

When Sarah was safe next to us Ethan smirked over at Jesse and said, "Sure, you can have the box…but not what's inside." He was struggling to open the box when I nudged Benny with my elbow and nodded my head to Ethan. Benny grabbed the cubile animus from Ethan and swiftly opened it as Ethan continued, "You wrecked their premier. Now you deal with them!"

All the souls that Jesse had trapped came rushing out, swirling about until they started attacking him. He dropped to the ground yelling in pain when he looked over at me…tears in his eyes as smoke started coming rising from his face. I stepped forward, a panicked feeling settling over me as I watched him groan in pain. I took another step forward but stopped when I saw him give a subtle shake of his head.

And just like that, he was gone.

Staring at where Jesse had vanished Benny spoke up to Sarah, "I can't believe you dated her great grandpa."

Sarah and I were sitting on the couch watching Teen Wolf and arguing about who was a better match for Stiles while I French braided her hair when the door opened and in walked Ethan's parents.

"Hey!" Sarah and I said at the same time, "You're back! Have fun?"

Mr. Morgan give a little laugh and closed the door, "Uh, yeah, it was fun, except—" he stopped as Mrs. Morgan held up her hand showing us the cast that was wrapped around it.

She narrowed her eyes and grimaced, "You know what they say about karma?" Shaking her head she smiled at us, "How was your night? Did you have any trouble? When did you get here Clare?"

"Uh, Benny came over and Sarah gave me a ring so she wouldn't have to be alone…you two know how Benny can get." We all chuckled.

"Not much trouble actually. It was pretty dead." Sarah smiled and started to get up. "I should get going before it gets too late."

"Of course, here let me walk you out." Mrs. Morgan had already started opening her purse.

Looking over at Mr. Morgan I nodded upstairs, "I'm going to go say goodbye to Ethan."

"Course." He smiled and went into the kitchen.

Tonight had really been like a rollercoaster. I just wanted to take a long bath and unwind; I just need a break from all this vampire crap that's been happening. Hopefully the rest of the school year will be normal.

"Hello?" I asked knocking on Ethan's door four times.

"Come on in Clare." He turned around from his desk closing the video message app.

"How'd you know it was me?"

"Oh please, you always knock four times. Every since that Doctor Who episode."

"That show was the bomb, okay? Now it's just blah." I smiled jumping to sit on his bed and suddenly remembering, "Hey! There was something you were going to tell me tonight!"

He looked around suddenly interested in his socks, "No there wasn't."

"Uh-huh, tell me!"

"I was just going to say I didn't like that tree, you pushed me out of it when we were kids."

"That is sooo not what you were going to say. You started off with the three of us."

"Which three of us?"

"Ethan! I know you know who I'm talking about!" I exclaimed, shaking my head.

"You know I know you know what?"

"What?"

"What?"

"Ethan come on, tell me."

"It doesn't even matter, Clare, come on let me get ready for bed." Ethan got up from his chair and went to the closet and grabbed his pajamas setting them down on the bed before walking out of the room.

"I've already spent a good half hour trying to get it out of you, you really think I won't stay here and bug you about it the entire night?" I started to poke his back as we walked down the stairs.

Sighing he turned around and shook his head, "I was just going to say that I hope you and Benny being together doesn't change anything."

"Change? What do you mean? Change what?"

"Just change! I don't know, like you and Benny going off to hang out with other couples and leaving me with Rory."

"Aww Ethan, we wouldn't leave you alone with Rory! You two could totally double date with Benny and I!"

"Clare! I'm being serious!" He shook his head at my giggling and walked into the kitchen where Mr. Morgan was sitting having some cereal.

"Clare? I thought you went home a half hour ago?"

"Well I was supposed to but since my dad forgot to tell me he was going to be out of town for the weekend Benny said I could crash at his place."

"The, - if you don't mind me asking – what are you-"

"Still doing here?" I shook my head and smirked, "I told Benny if he made me stay in that pigsty he calls a room I'd make him go to Comic-Con dressed as Peter Pan. Tights and all."

Mr. Morgan laughed spitting out the cereal he had just eaten as Ethan exclaimed about the milk hitting him in the face.

"Great, now I'll have to take another shower."

"Good. You still smell like garlic popcorn." I said wiping off some of the milk that landed on my arm. "Ethan about what you said-"

"Forget about it, it's not important." He said as he grabbed his backpack off the chair and started making his way back upstairs.

"Yes," I stopped him by the door, "Of course it's important. We've all been best friends since we were babies, duh we're not going to leave you alone with Rory. I mean have you met the dude? Sure maybe sometimes if Benny and I feel like making out, we are dating now you know, and don't want to bother you with having to watch us we'll leave you alone then-"

"Thanks, great visual-"

"Shhh."

"Clare-"

"Hush, Clare's talking." I put my hand over his mouth, "But we will always come back. Okay? I mean tonight kinda proved that you're not going to be able to get rid of us that easily. We survived a vampire attack- hell we prevented probably what could have been the end of Whitechapel. Okay, we are so never leaving you Seer. You got that?" He just looked at me, "I asked if you understood?" Rolling his eyes he pointed to my hand that was still covering his mouth, "Oh, hehe oops."

He smiled widely and pulled me into a hug, "Thanks Clare."

"Anytime Ethan."

And that's how Benny walked in through the front door to see us hugging in the middle of the doorway.

"Betrayal!"

"Shut up Benny!" Ethan and I exclaimed laughing and pulling apart.

"Rooms all ready for Miss Cleanliness."

"We better get going-"

"Ethan what did she mean by garlic popcorn?" Mr. Morgan asked peeking at us through the kitchen door.

My eyes widened as I gave a little cough and grabbing Benny's hand, "May the odds be ever in your favor Ethan." Benny and I booked it back to his house laughing at Ethan's sarcastic 'thanks.'

"Clare?"

I slowly looked up at Benny realizing that I had just been sitting and staring down at the towel in my hands. Sniffling I gave a small smile and chuckle, "Hey, Benny."

"Clare-bear?" Benny knelt down in front of me, "What happened? What's wrong?"

"I don't- I just- I-" gasping I put my head in my hands.

Benny gently lifted my head so I was looking at him, "Jesse?"

"I don't know why I feel like this? He was a bad guy, evil! He was going to destroy Whitechapel and hurt you. But there's still this part of me that keeps thinking he was family, no matter what, and oh gosh this is ridiculous, I didn't even know him. What is wrong with me?" I looked down, ashamed to say that I was tearing up.

"Clare, there's nothing wrong with you." Benny sat down next to me and pulled me onto his lap. "You're perfect. You're just feeling- look I know you love your dad but I think…maybe you felt a little alone. Correct me if I'm wrong but Jesse paid attention to you, he showed you your family history, where you came from. No matter how evil he was he made you feel like you were family? I'm sorry if I'm upsetting you, but ever since everything with your mom, your dad has been distant and maybe-"

"Maybe it's getting to me more than I really let on?" I look up at him having stopped sniffling when I realized just how much Benny pays attention.

He nodded and rubbed his hand up and down my arm, "I'm sorry."

"No, no. You're right, dad keeps going to these teacher conventions that are miles away and I'm just scared that…that he'll leave me too. Everyone always leaves…"

"Not everyone."

Looking up I gave a small smile and a small nod, "Not everyone."

"Awe you two! Stay there! Let me get the camera!"

"Grandma!"

"I always knew you two would end up together."

"Grandma Weir!"

"I told your mother Benny, I told her, 'Just you wait, she's going to set him straight, they'll have beautiful little babies-"

"AH!" Benny and I yelled at the same time as she came into his room and started taking pictures of us with a Polaroid camera. I just started giggling when she reached over after licking her fingers to fix Benny's hair.

Flicking her hand away he exclaimed, "Grandma!"

"Quiet, you're my only grandchild, let me have this."

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"However many times you ask Clare the answers still going to be no."

"Fine! I'll just ask Ethan-"

"Fine, hop on." Benny relented as I clapped and jumped on his back as we started walking to school the next day. Benny had been carrying me for about five minutes while Ethan laughed at us when we bumped into Sarah along the way.

I tapped Benny to let me down and jumped down, making my way towards Sarah, "Hey! Nice shades!"

Giving her a quick hug I heard Ethan try to ask Benny quietly, "How are you not tired carrying her?"

"Hey!" Benny and I exclaimed. Both for different reasons, mine for inadvertently being called fat and heavy, and Benny for Ethan believing him to be weak.

"Not that you'd be heavy!" Ethan tried to backtrack, "And not that you couldn't do it!"

"Oh shut up." We both laughed as the school came into view.

"No, no, no," Looking over we saw Principal Hicks talking to a few reporters and camera crew, "I'd like to ask you not to repeat these sill rumours of alleged 'attacks' in the theatre. In the first place, fans of the vampire genre have active imaginations. And secondly, I am told that defective 3D glasses may have caused adverse neurological side effects. In any case, there won't be any more Dusker events on my watch. Believe it." Principal Hicks gave a smile and bounced up twice on the balls of his feet, looking like an over excited child.

Sarah scoffed, "Faulty 3D glasses? Who's gullible enough to believe that?" Looking over to me she raised her eyebrow.

"Um, these are Duskers we're talking about, remember?" Ethan shrugged.

"Besides," Benny pulled me towards him, his arm going around my shoulders and making me smile, "the town is safe, Jesse's rejoined his flock…" looking down at me, "It's all good, right?"

"Yep!" Ethan smiles, "Wait," looking at Sarah he asked, "You're not still dying are you? I mean your mortal body seems to be doing just fine."

Sarah and I looked at each other and smiled, turning to look at Ethan I said, "Grandma Weir and I were able to help out with out actually."

"When was this?" Benny asked.

"When you were asleep all of Saturday." I smirked rolling my eyes.

"Oh…"

Sarah nodded, "Clare and Benny's grandmother make a mean human blood substitute."

"And! They found my spell book!" Benny smiled and made an 'okay' symbol with his fingers.

"Hey, guys!" someone called to us. Looking up we saw Rory standing a little away from us with Erica. Both of them were wearing sunglasses like Sarah.

"Hey…" Benny said giving a little wave.

"Well, it's pretty much all over." Ethan said giving a small nod as the bell rang, "Let's go to class." He and Sarah started to walk towards the school but I kept Benny back a little.

"Good id-" I cut Benny off giving him a kiss on the mouth and wrapping my arms around his neck.

"GUYS?!" Ethan yelled, "Really?"

We broke apart grinning.

"Shut up, Ethan!"

As we caught up with them Benny started saying, "The trick with spells is you kind of phrase it like Klingon, but with kind of, like, a, you know, Romulan twang, and just a splash of Cylon—"

"Benny! Shut up!"

"Sorry…"
