Kallist opened his eyes and sat up. He looked at his hand. He could see through.

Echo kneeled down next to him, "You're fading aren't you?"

Kallist nodded, "With Bolas gone I don't have anything anchoring me here. He gave me the ability to travel between worlds and with that gone I'm leaving. He created a copy of my body and so I'm fading." He sighed softly, "Oh well. I've made friendships I'll never forget." He smiled and disappeared into particles of light.

Echo watched him, "Jace is not going to be happy."

"Jace is never happy," Shadow muttered, "I wouldn't be with a life like his."

Chandra opened her eyes to a splitting headache, "Jeez? Is this required?" She sat up, "Where's Ral?"

"Why?" Shadow asked.

Chandra smirked, "So I can blow him halfway to hell." She laughed.

Shadow shook her head, "Wow. That's all I have to say. Wow."

Chandra shrugged. She climbed to her feet and looked around, "So Gideon's gone?"

Shadow nodded, "Bolas swallowed him and then dissipated a bit later. Gideon went with him and you guys started to wake up."

"So I'm not the first?"

"Kallist was," Shadow said.

"Where's he?" Chandra asked.

"Bolas made a copy of his body as a place for him to be," Echo said.

"And with Bolas gone he's gone," Chandra nodded.

"Yeah," Echo lifted her head to the sky, "The skies however are clearing."

Chandra nodded, "That's good." The sun shone down on them and the air warmed up.

The others woke up slowly.

"Where's Kallist?" Jace asked.

Chandra swallowed, "He's gone."

Jace stared at her, "Why? And how?"

Echo explained to him what Kallist had explained to her.

"So that's how he did it," Jace nodded. That's why he was there when he shouldn't have been. Should've guessed. Even so, I guess it was nice to see him again and fix things. Jace looked up, "And Gideon's gone too?"

Chandra nodded, "Yeah, the righteous moron died."

Jace smirked, "I'm sure he appreciates you calling him that."

"Oh yes," Chandra nodded.

Jace got to his feet, "That was fun. I feel like I was trampled by a stampede of rhinos."

Chandra shook her head, "At least I'm not the only one."

"Why do you two look so down?" Ral asked. He wrapped his arms around their shoulders, "C'mon. We promised Gideon we'd rebuild right? Why don't we get started?"

"Maybe because my head is pounding?" Jace muttered.

Ral shook his head, "I'm sure all of us have pounding heads."

"You just don't want to have to do any work," Vadanya added.

Jace glanced at her, "I never said that."

"You're lazy," she smiled, "You always have been and you always will be."

Jace rolled his eyes, "Whatever."

Elspeth shook her head, "Let's go. We have a promise to keep and worlds to rebuild. We might as well start now."

"Let's do the hardest first so that when we get to the easier ones it'll be a piece of cake!" Ral suggested.

"You just want to go home," Jace smirked.

"So?" Ral chuckled, "Don't you?"

Jace shrugged, "I'm not sure I have a place to call home."

"We all do," Elspeth smiled, "We've built friendships that will last and we will always have a home amongst each other."

"Though, if you three could lower the amount of bickering," Sorin added, "I would be more inclined to stick around."

Chandra shook her head, "I'm good. Besides just because one of us isn't around doesn't mean we can't still call the place home. We're planeswalkers. We're always going to wander off and we're not going to get along all the time."

Jace sighed. He glanced at Ral, "Can you get off me now?"

Chandra turned to look at him as well, "Yes. Please get off before I blow you into the sun."

Ral smirked, "I'm good."

Chandra punched him in the gut and kicked him to the ground.

"That hurt!" Ral looked at her and smiled, "Beautiful."

"Dammit!" Chandra glared at him, "I was hoping you'd grown out of that stupid nickname!"

"Apparently not," Jace muttered.

Her glare transferred to him, "Shut it."

Jace put his hands up in mock surrender, "Sorry."

Vadanya laughed, "When she kills you guys I'm going to laugh."

"C'mon," Elspeth shook her head in amusement, "Remember we have worlds to rebuild. Where are we going first?"

"Ravnica," Jace and Ral said in unison.

Chandra burst out laughing, "Wow. Just wow."

Jace shrugged, "So?"

"See, I'm not the only one that wants to go home," Ral smirked.

Jace glared at him, "Keep telling yourself that."

Ral nodded, "I will."

"Unless I seal your lips shut," Chandra smirked.

"Then I'll just think it to myself," Ral shrugged.

"Then it's not the same, though," Vadanya turned into a bird and floated over them.

"So?" Ral shrugged.

Sorin shook his head, "I'm going to rebuild and then I'm not going to associate with them on a regular basis."

Chandra glanced over her shoulder, "Okay."

Elspeth led the way to Ravnica. Many of the buildings had collapsed and many of the people wandered around aimlessly. The guilds had already begun to rebuild. They had divided it into five sections with two guilds working on one section. They arrived in the section the Izzet and Gruul were working on.

Jace cocked his head to the side, "Why are the Izzet and Gruul working together? That never works well."

Ral shrugged, "Don't know."

"Ral!" an Izzet mage walked up to him, "Haven't seen you in a while."

"I was busy with other things," Ral shrugged.

Jace smirked, "Oh yes. Awkward question dodging."

Ral glared at him, "Shut it."

Chandra laughed, "We all do it."

Jace shrugged, "So Ral's already got the section he's working on. I'm going to go look for someone and work somewhere else."

Elspeth nodded.

Chandra smirked, "I'm going to work with the Boros."

Jace glanced at her, "Have fun with that."

Chandra shrugged, "It'll be fun." She disappeared in a pillar of flames.

"For some reason I feel like she's going to end up not really rebuilding," Jace looked at the spot where she had disappeared.

"She does have a knack for destruction but rubble has to be cleared right?" Elspeth shrugged and walked off.

Jace shrugged, "Okay." I guess they aren't so bad. I mean at least I'm not dead yet. On more than one occasion I was pretty sure I would die but I'm not so that's a plus. He disappeared.
