AN: Hello again my friends. I haven't written like this in quite awhile, multiple chapters a day. I hope you are enjoying them when I can do them, I don't know if I will be able to keep up a chapter every day if work picks up again like it has been. So today is Thursday, October 3rd and this is the second chapter today. Once again anything you recognize is JK Rowling's and anything you don't is mine.

Remus POV

I stood outside the buildings and sighed before squeezing my eyes shut. My head throbbed sharply and I pinched my fingers against the bridge of my nose. Hermione, My Mate, had almost given me a heart attack. I knew she hadn't meant to but bloody hell.

I had been working at the Hog's Head when my heart had all but pounded out of my chest. Now what? I didn't even realize I was running to Hogwarts until I heard Aberforth screaming behind me. He was docking my pay for every moment I was away. Hagrid was already at the gates waiting for me as if he knew I would come. He told me Hermione was in the hospital wing having her teeth shrunk since they were engorged during a fight. I had apparated away without a thought and landed behind a bush in muggle London. Which I had been here for the last twenty minutes trying to figure out what to do.

A soft whimper made my eyes flick open. The bear-like dog hadn't been next to me a moment ago but he was here now.

"Where did you come from?" I asked shocked. The dog rolled his large eyes before running up the steps to the townhouse. I guess that was as much of an invitation I would get. My hands twitched as I went up the steps leading to the front door. I opened it and the dog ran in. By the time I had walked into the house and shut the door my best friend was leaning against the wall.

"What are you doing here Remus?" Sirius asked his arms crossed.

"Didn't you get my owl?" I asked my eyes wide.

"Of course not. I've been living with a wizard as a dog and have able to floo here whenever he's out." He said flicking his hair out of his eyes.

"Well haven't you been getting the owls once you were here?" I asked confused.

"Of course not. Don't you remember what I told you?" Sirius asked darkly.

"Erm."

"No. Of course not. When I'm in my animagus form I can't get letters. They end up here on the stoop." He said pointing to a pile of letters on the floor.

"Oh." I said vaguely. "I forgot about that."

"No kidding." He said shaking his head with a sad smile on his face. "Anyway I ask, once again, why are you here?"

"A lot's been happening -" I started but Sirius cut me off. "I know."

"How much do you know?" I asked my eyes wide.

"A lot." He said turning to a staircase leading down. He waved for me to follow him and I did. Once we got to the bottom of the steps we found the kitchen. It was absolutely filthy, as if it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Cobwebs covered most of the room and there was a thick layer of dust covering everything. Cabinets covered both walls and a giant table took up most of the room. Dishes lined one of the glass cabinets and they were pure gold. My eyebrows raised in surprise.

Sirius opened on of the cabinet doors lining the wall and pulled out a cup. He made a disgusted face and threw it into the sink where the sound of broken glass could be heard. I blinked slowly and took a seat at the table. As soon as I did a cloud of dust released from the upholsterer chair. I coughed while Sirius tried to do a cleaning charm but it only stirred up the dust more. He had always been awful with cleaning charms.

"Sirius just... just let it be... achooo!" I sneezed loudly.

"Bloody house-elf!" Sirius yelled dropping into one of the chairs with a huff. Another cloud of dust erupted and I coughed loudly.

"House-elf?" I asked as another sneeze took over me this one much bigger than before.

"Well I didn't see his head on the wall so he should be here somewhere." Sirius muttered shaking his head. I all but gagged at the thought, what a disgusting practice!

"Anyways," I said shaking my head. "What all do you know about?"

"Well I know Moody's the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher." I nodded to show him I knew this too. "And I know that you and the smartest witch of Harry's age is your mate."

"You already knew that." I said rolling my eyes. Sirius had been able to figure it out the first time he had seen us together.

"Yeah but not like anything I've read on." Sirius said shaking his head.

"That's why I'm here!" I said loudly. Sirius jumped in surprise but I ignored him. "She and I have a Pristine Mating but neither Dumbledore nor myself can find much of anything on it."

Sirius frowned thoughtfully for a moment. "I know we have some books on werewolves, I had a great uncle who was one after all, but I don't know what all we have. My mother never spoke of him having a mate but that doesn't mean he didn't have one. All I really know about him was that he died young and dear old mum blasted him off the family tapestry upstairs. Mind you she did that with mine too. Bloody mental that woman."

"Right." What else was I supposed to say? I knew what that woman had done to him. Almost tortured him to death when he was sixteen when he wouldn't support Voldemort. There was a reason he had ran away from home. "So you don't mind if I look through your books?"

"Not at all." Sirius muttered absently looking around the room with unseeing eyes. I quietly left the room without looking back. What else could I say to my best friend when his memories were the things of nightmares? I didn't deserve to be in Gryffindor... I hung my head and slowly plodded up the steps my heart heavy in my chest.
