Having more or less grown up knowing the man, Naruto knew full well that Kaiba usually spared no expense when it came to things he was interested in. But still, having several helicopters fly the students from the high-tech building built specifically to test the duelists to the private island with a bigger but equally high-tech school made to teach them all about dueling may have been a tad much.
Alexis looked at the other blonde that was seated next to her grumble to himself something about technology and maybe Kaiba. They had gotten to talking on the flight, really having nothing better to do, but the moment Naruto noticed the island in the distance he started grumbling.
"Ahem." Alexis let out a fake cough to get his attention.
"Sorry about that." Naruto rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "It's just… That guy's just too much sometimes."
"Right, you would meet him." Her eyes had a glint of excitement in them. "What's he like?"
Naruto hummed, scratching his chin and looking out through the window, trying to arrange his thoughts and come up with an appropriate response.
"Kaiba?" He grinned. "He's a jackass."

The island was situated miles away from the mainland, far enough to be almost completely cut off from the outside world. His father had said Kaiba insisted it helped with… something. Neither of the Mutos could begin to understand what.
"I don't understand that man." Naruto sighed.
"Hm?" Alexis was standing next to him as they walked to the school.
"Kaiba. I just don't understand him."
"Are you still going on about that?" She looked at him.
"Sorry, I'll stop now."
"You should, we're here."
The auditorium of the school was a mess of blue, yellow and red jackets as the students sat in their seats and waited for the traditional welcoming speech to begin. A bald man with a goatee wearing a burgundy trench coat stepped on the podium with an easy smile and his arms open wide.
"Welcome students to the Dueling Academy." He bellowed out. "In here you will learn the ins and outs of dueling in a special program made by the founder himself, Seto Kaiba. The school is divided into three dorms separated by color and skill. I wish you the best of luck in your studies, future dueling champions. Now proceed to your dorm buildings where a nice dinner will be waiting for you."
The first building Naruto noticed when they walked out of the auditorium was a gorgeous, huge mansion with a blue roof across a pond and next to a forest.
"Not bad. Kaiba's sense of luxury's as intact as ever." Naruto commented.
"If you say so. But that's the Obelix Blue dorm. The female one." Alexis stopped him. "I have to go, before I'm late for dinner. I'll see you around Naruto." She walked off.
"But… wait, where's the Slifer Red dorm?" He yelled after her. Alexis pointed off into the distance behind him as she disappeared from view. There was a small building in the distance, the opposite way of the school.
After a few minutes of walking Naruto came across a two-story building that looked like it belonged in the much poorer part of town then the Obelix dorm.
"Somehow I'm not surprised." Naruto grumbled as he stood in front of the building.
"It's horrible!" Someone yelled next to him. He turned around to see a short, blue-haired boy with rounded glasses standing next to him.
"It's not that bad." Naruto offered with a small smile, gaining a disbelieving look from the other boy. "The view of the ocean's nice at least."
"I guess you're right." The boy sighed. "The name's Syrus, by the way. Syrus Truesdale."
"Naruto Muto." Naruto shook his hand. "Nice to meet you."
"Wait, you're the son of the King of Games that beat Crowler in the entrance exam, aren't you."
"Yep, that's me." Syrus's eyes lit up in excitement.
"Please, you have to tell me what he's like! Is it true he's friends with Seto Kaiba? How about Maximillian Pegasus, the creator of Duel Monsters? And who's your mother? Is it true that he married his friend Tea Gardner?"
"Easy." Naruto gave an awkward chuckle as a sweat drop began to form on the back of his head. "Let's get settled in first, and then we can talk." He looked at the front of the building to see a student register. "Looks like we're actually in the same room, with some other guy called Chumley. I think it's this way."

The room they were assigned was decidedly on the small side, although Naruto has a suspicion all Slifer Red rooms were. It had three tables with a chair in front of to the left, a triple bunk bed on the right, a couple of closets and a window on the far wall.
"It looks even worse than the outside." Syrus sighed.
"Aw, it's not that bad. I think. It has…" Naruto struggled to find the right word. "Character? I call the top bunk."
"Top bunk's taken." A large head popped out of the covers on the top-most bed. It had a large nose, bushy eyebrows and two tufts of black hair that resembled a panda's ears on it. "The name's Chumley, and as your senior I'm taking the top bunk." Naruto looked below to see the boards straining to keep the no-doubt heavyset boy on the bed. "Also that desk over there's mine."
"Fair enough." Naruto shrugged. You were here first. In that case I'm talking bottom. Syrus, you can have the one in the middle." The blue-haired boy gulped at the sight of the boards. "So when's dinner anyway? I'm starving."

I'm finding this one to be a little bit difficult to get going. I guess that's what I get for not actually watching the show beforehand. Oh woe is me.
