The auditorium was packed. Red and Belle waved when they saw the little family unit.

Emma waved back to them and walked over with the loves of her life. "Hey you two." Emma smirked then watched Henry go to the women, having made friends with Red.

"Little man." Ruby kneeled down to give Henry a five. "Here to root mommy on?"

Henry nodded vehemently.

"I think she'll win with you cheering her on." Rubes grinned at the boy.

"Me too. All of us!" He grinned and spun around with his arms open wide.

Emma watched him, her arm draping around Regina's lower back. "You're gonna do great, baby." She whispered into the mayor's ear before placing a kiss on her temple.

Regina smiled as she leaned into Emma. "I've got a great support system." She kissed Emma's cheek then squatted down to pull Henry into a hug. "Mommy's got to go on stage now. Be good for Emma."

"Otay Mommy. Kick butt." Henry giggled and Emma gave her best 'wasn't me' face with Regina's quetioning look about her son's language.

"Knock 'em dead, Madame Mayor."

Regina shook her head but gave Emma a smile before going on stage, behind the curtain where Robin and the moderator were waiting. "Mr. Locksley."

"Former Mayor Mills." Robin smirked. "Good luck on your debate today. You'll need it."

"As will you." Regina smirked back. "You may have some smear tricks up your sleeves, but your ideas concerning real topics are shit for the most part."

"We'll see how it plays out the end. May the best man win."

"Or woman." Regina replied, tired of playing nice. They walked out on stage then, practically the whole town there.

"Welcome town of Storybrooke. It has come time once again to hear the canidtes out for mayor of this great place. Will the current Mayor please speak her opening speech."

Regina gave a magnificent speech, followed by Robin's smooth one. Then the questioning began, Regina cool and calm.

First question was toward Regina. "Mayor Mills, the one question thats been buring to be answered, you and Sheriff canidate Emma Swan are obviously together. Now, if she wins her election and you yours do you think it will help or hurt this town and how it runs?"

"Emma and I being together will have no effect on how we do our jobs whatsoever. She'd answer to the county commissioners while I answer directly to the people. It would neither hurt nor help the town because we'd keep our professional and personal lives separate."

Round after rounds of questions were asked of the both of them. Finally, the debate was over and Henry ran up on stage as people stood and applauded. "Mommy! You win!"

Regina laughed and engulfed her son in a hug. "Not quite, sweetie, but I do think I did well." She lifted him as she stood and smiled at Emma.

Emma stood below the stage and grinned up at the two. "You did very well."

Red and Belle came over to them once Regina had stepped down. "Well done, Madame Mayor." The petite brunette said.

"Thank you, Belle. That was more civil than I had thought it'd be. Which I'm grateful for. There's more important issues at stake than whether I see a therapist or not." Regina replied.

"Right or if your dating the hottest canidate for sheriff or not." Red chimmed in, earning a chuckle from the subject matter.

"Right." Regina smirked, setting Henry down. "People are just jealous, is all."

Emma chuckled, "Alrighty, Henry, are you ready to spend some time with Red and Belle? Em gets to take mommy out on a date."

Regina looked at Emma with a brow raised as Henry nodded. "Yeah." He said, turning to look up at the girls with a cute grin.

"We'll play lots of games. So many Henry will pass out from all the fun." Ruby said with a smirk.

"Nuh uh! Can't make me sweepy wiff fun!" He giggled before hugging his mother then moving for the other couple.

"We'll take good care of him. You two have fun." Belle said, the three beginning to walk away.

Regina looked to Emma. "I thought the three of us were going out tonight."

"Yeah, well Henry thought it best to tell me during the debate that I should take you out on a date. So, gotta make the kid happy." Taking the Mayor's hand she started leading her out of the Hall. "We'll have a nice night."

"Oh I know we will. So he told you that, hmm?" Regina asked, skeptical. Regardless, she took hold of Emma's hand and laced their fingers together.

"He did. I think he has a crush on Red." Emma chuckled. Getting to the car, she opened the door for Regina on the passenger side. "I'll drive."

"Aww. My boy's first crush and it's on someone you slept with." Regina laughed. "That's slightly disturbing in a way." She said as she got into the car.

"You just HAD to go there didn't ya." Emma rolled her eyes with a smirk before shutting the door and going around to the other side and getting in.

"I did. You never told me, but I could tell. Makes me wonder who else you encountered in Storybrooke." She said glancing Emma's way.

Emma turned towards her and took Regina's hand. "Yes, I did sleep with Red. However, it was only once. We both agreed that we were in love with other people and that our relationship should be platonic. I haven't slept with anyone else in Storybrooke. You're the only one I want. You're the only one I've ever wanted, Flower."

"And you're the only one I want. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up. Not tonight." She said squeezing Emma's hand.

"It's okay. It needed to be brought up and now that it has, you know where I stand. You don't have to be afraid or worry about me and that sort of stuff anymore. Okay?" Em smiled and leaned over, pressing a kiss to the woman's lips.

"I know." Regina whispered. "I wasn't worried about you wandering. I was just curious who all you'd been with, is all."

"Oh ok." Emma kissed her once more. "Alright you, lets get to this date huh? I got an idea in mind."

Regina nodded. "Let's. I can't wait to see what it is."

Emma had stopped by one of Regina's favorite restaurants and ordered it to go. From there the couple went to the pier and set out their dinner on a picnic table by the water. Simple but romantic.

"Emma, this was thoughtful and beautiful. You sure Henry asked to stay with Ruby?" Regina asked with an arched brow and smile as she sat.

"I'm sure. This was on a whim but I still wanted to be romantic in a different way. You know how I am."Emma shrugged with a smile. "But feel free to ask Hen yourself."

The mayor chuckled. "Nah, I believe you. You're good, Emma Swan. Really good."

"Did the refined mayor just use the word 'Nah'?" Emma laughed.

"What can I say, my girlfriend's rubbing off on me." She smiled. "You date someone for long enough, your habits start to rub off on one another."

"Tell me about it, I found myself walking a bit straighter the other day." She laughed.

Regina chuckled. "Good. Good posture alleviates future back problems."

"Yeah, as future sheriff, can't have those back issues." She smirked before taking another bite of her chicken.

"Exactly." Regina smiled, taking a sip of the wine Emma had poured for her.

"So how about you, Henry and I do something fun tomorrow? What would the two of you like to do?"

"Actually, tomorrow, I think Henry and I need to be alone." Regina said as she poked at her food. "I have something to show him."

"Oh..." then she realized why, "Oh. Right yeah." She smiled softly.

Regina nodded. "Thank you for being understanding."

"Of course. I'd be a horrible person if I wasn't."

"I wouldn't say horrible but... It'd be pretty crumby if you weren't."

Swan laughed lightly before leaning over the table and kissing the mayor. "Well its a good thing I'm not crumby then, huh."

"It is." Regina smiled, kissing Emma again. "I'd say I did pretty well with you."

"Yeah, I'd say you did too." Emma smirked before kissing the woman for a third time and sitting back down in her seat.

"So where are we off to next?"

"We are going to take a barefooted walk on the beach, watch the sunset and just enjoy it all."

"Mm, sounds heavenly." Regina smiled and finished her meal. "Ready whenever you are."

Em stood up and threw away their take out boxes then offered her hand to Regina. "C'mon, babe."

Regina took it and together they walked down to the beach, where the sun was beginning to disappear. "There's nothing like a sunset on the beach."

"I thought you might like it." Em squeezed her hand before bringing it to her lips and kissing her fingers.

"No matter what the outcome of the race is, today has been a great day." Regina said before leaning in and kissing Emma.

"Yes it has." Emma smiled and stopped walking to pull, Regina flush against her, returning the kiss and deepening it.

Regina dug her nails into Emma's back, clutching onto the material of her shirt. She moved one hand up to bury in the blonde's hair.

Emma broke the kiss a moment later, needing air. She rested her forehad against Regina's, "It's becoming very difficult to just keep it at sexy makeout moments." Swan smiled and kissed her lips once more.

"It can progress to more very soon." Regina whispered against Emma's lips.

Emma breathed against Regina's lips, "I hope so. And you definitely won't regret it either."

"Oh I look forward to it." Regina said as she ran her hands down Emma's sides. "There won't be any regrets."

"Never." She smiled before leaning back in and kissing Regina fully, wrapping her arms around the small of the woman's back.

Regina set her hands on Emma's chest, slipping them under her jacket. Then she slid them up to rest on the sides of the blonde's neck as they kissed deeply. The mayor could stand there and kiss Emma all day.

Em stepped back after a moment and walked over to the base of the sand dune and sat down, leaning back against it. With her finger she motioned for Regina to come over, once she had, the blonde pulled her mayor down to straddle her waist, continuing their lip lock.

Regina slipped her arms around Emma's neck and moaned softly when the blonde began to kiss a trail down her throat. The mayor tilted her head to the side to give her better access and rolled her hips against Emma.

The blonde nipped the flesh of Regina's neck the second she felt the woman's hips move. There was no way to describe how much Swan wanted her. She left her mark on a sensitive spot before moving back to kiss the brunette's lips.

Mills ran her hands down to the bottom of Emma's shirt as they kissed then slipped them under, her nails lightly scratching at the blonde's abs. After a moment, she moved her hands up to cup her girlfriend's breasts, giving them a little squeeze.

Emma moaned against Regina's lips as her back bowed at the sensations given to her. "Flower..." She whispered as her hands moved down her back and gripped the brunette's firm ass.

"Emma..." Regina rested her forehead against the blonde's, breathing heavily. "I don't want to wait anymore, but the timing..."

I don't want to wait either, Regina... But I will. For you, I'll do anything. But I think Daniel would want you to be happy, to love again."

"I know he would." Regina said as she got up and took a couple of steps away, hugging herself, now noticing the night air's chill. "It just feels wrong to give in right now."

Emma got up, moving over to her, shirt still unbuttoned. She pulled Regina into her arms and kissed her shoulder. "Then don't give in yet. I'm not going anywhere."

"I'm sure you're getting tired of me pulling away, though." Regina replied, leaning back against Emma.

"Nothing I can't handle. Though you better make sure our first time is hella good." She chuckled.

Regina laughed at that for a moment before turning to face Emma. "Believe me it'll be good." She said looking from the blonde's lips into her eyes.

"I know it will be. You're worth the wait even if I have to wait ten more years. You have always been worth it."

"Well, we've already waited 10 years. What's another 10?" Regina smirked before kissing Emma. "Just a few more days. I need some time for Daniel."

The blonde nodded and kissed her again. "I'll be waiting."

"Would you mind taking me home now?" Regina asked quietly.

Of course I don't mind."

Emma got the mayor back to her place and stood in the living room. "I'll sleep on the couch if you want."

Regina shook her head. "Nonsense. We've slept in the same bed numerous times already."

"Alright." Emma smiled and followed her upstairs, just to sleep.
