Demons of the Past

Epilogue:

Answer Me

Claec sat in his cell with only a sliver of light coming through the narrow window. All of his power and strength was stripped from him, leaving him next to nothing. There was a clang of a door outside and the door to his cell was opened. Standing there was Leo with his usual suit jacket missing, his sleeves rolled up and his tie undone. He narrowed his eyes at Claec before walking into the room to stand on the outside of the bars.

"Well... if it isn't my so-called son, Leo the Lion, how's that fluffy pink Ram Spirit of yours doing? Has the Celestial Spirit World reabsorbed her energy yet?" he mocked.

Leo clenched his fist before taking a needed deep breath. He kept his composure and looked down at the miserable wreck Claec had become. A smirk appeared at the corner of his mouth and Leo crossed his arms over his chest.

"Aries isn't going to die," he said, confidently.

"And how are you gonna stop it? It's the natural order for the sentient energy that composes each and every Celestial Spirit to some day return to the flow of the Celestial Spirit World," Claec said, a twisted grin spreading across his face "Tell me you didn't come here to try and convince me to remove the fragment of Dark Regulus still in her, did you?"

Leo's grin remained and he crouched down before his father's cage. The outside light shone through the cell door and set his ginger mane ablaze, illuminating his hazel eyes.

"No... that's not why I'm here," he said, his sharp teeth gleaming.

Claec glared at him from the corner of his eye.

"Then why are you here?" he asked.

"Because you're going to tell me something," Leo said and his confident look turned to one of cold seriousness "Where is my mother?"

Hey and Happy New-Year. Sorry for taking so long but my grandmother passed away and we had to go to her funeral... but she's free from pain now so that's good at least :')

Does anyone get the reference here? Anybody? This entire epilogue is a parody of... what? Leave your answers in the reviews.

Okay, that's it for this story. I'm out, peace!
