Okay, so I decided to write a sequel to "One Last Hope". I really like using Sakura as the bad guy, but if you have read "One Last Hope" you would understand why that can't be. I have an idea of where this will go. Short chapter just to tease it. Hope you all enjoy!
"She would want you to get out of the rain, Naruto."
Naruto suddenly became aware of where we was. He jerked his head back, blinking after what felt like an eternity. He slowly turned his head to Kakashi who wore the same sad look on his face as he had since they found Sakura in that hut.
"You should come inside, with everyone."
Naruto turned back to the newly filled grave that held Sakura's body. He was angry. Not only at Sasuke, but at Sakura. Why couldn't she have seen that he would have never hurt her like Sasuke. But, Naruto knew that Sakura had been lost for a while. She had been driven mad by her desire to have Sasuke for herself. This desire had led to her death. Naruto took a shaky breath. It was hard to lose the woman that you cared for, even harder to lose that woman to someone that you thought of as a brother.
The sky was pouring rain that day. It didn't seem to want to stop. Since the moment the funeral began, it had been a downpour. Naruto had stayed by the grave while the others had retreated indoors to escape the cold and wet. Kakashi came to stand by Naruto, staring down at the flowers and things placed on Sakura's grave.
"She would want you to come inside, Naruto."
"No, she would only want Sasuke by her side." Naruto snapped.
Kakashi kept his eyes forward, but felt Naruto's piercing blue eyes fall on him. Naruto glared at Kakashi then at Sakura's grave. He took a shaky breath and then turned away. Kakashi watched Naruto's frame disappear into the dark, rainy distance.
