Chapter 14: The Last Stand part 4: Til all are One

As the Ark rocketed through the Earth's atmosphere, two emotions ran through Korra's mind. She felt slightly fearful of her inevitable encounter with Unicron, as well as taking Asami's words and confession to heart, realizing there was a chance she may not come back to see her again. At the same time however, there was a sense of excitement running through her as well, soon to be the first human in space. It was at that moment that the Ark had successfully made into space and Korra could see her sword begin to float due to the absense of gravity. She then grabbed it as Rodimus turned to a console on the ship.

"Teletrann 1, activate artificial gravity," he said before Korra could feel the weight return to her body.

"ARTIFICIAL GRAVITY ACTIVATED," an AI voice responded as Korra got out of her seat and looked out one of the windows, staring out into the vastness of space in awe.

"How does it feel Korra?" Rodimus asked.

"It's incredible," Korra answered. "It's nothing like I've witnessed before." However, that sense of joy quickly faded when she saw Unicron's looming planet form coming towards them.

"How much time do we have before he makes it to Earth?" Korra asked.

"An hour, if we're lucky," Rodimus answered.

"Well, we can at least slow him down and buy you guys some time," Crosshairs stated. "Teletrann 1, activate orbital defense cannons." In that moment, four massive cannons that orbited around the Earth positioned themselves and began to fire laser beams at Unicron.

"I don't know how long that'll keep him busy," Crosshairs stated.

"Any time we gain is important Crosshairs," Rodimus responded when Silverbolt and the spirits of the other Aerialbots quickly ran to the others.

"We've got company coming from behind!" Silverbolt reported. "Cyclonus is leading an assault against us!" Rodimus then activated a camera in the back of the Ark to see Cyclonus flying towards him, squadrons of Sweeps behind him and with Scourge and Lugnut beside him.

"You shall pay for the loss of our leader Autobot scum!" Lugnut shouted.

"Silverbolt, you and the others hold them off as long as you can," Rodimus ordered. "Korra, strap yourself in." Korra responded by doing so as Silverbolt and the others ran towards an airlock.

"Hold on!" Rodimus advised as he banked the Ark to the left hard to avoid laser fire.

*QUE TRANSFORMERS PRIME OPENING THEME*

Back on Earth, despite Megatron's demise, the battle had not ceased or even slowed. Most of the Decepticons were still willing to fight and even if they didn't, there was still the matter of Unicron sending his manifestations into battle. A group of Autobots, lead by Ultra Magnus, were currently fending off Decepticons and manifestations when the sounds of metal footsteps caught their attention. Ultra Magnus turned around to see the Earth Empire mechasuits coming their way. He responded by readying his massive hammer.

"Hold your ground!" he ordered the Autobots with him, when suddenly, the suits propelled themselves upward with earthbending, launching them over the Autobots and towards the Decepticons and manifestations before beginning to fight them instead of the Autobots. Ultra Magnus was stunned, wondering why this was when he received a call on his comlink.

"General Magnus, my forces have no longer have hostilities towards your's," Kuvira said on the other side. "Cease your actions towards them and they will not engage you."

"Understood," Ultra Magnus responded before kicking an Eradicon to the ground and smashing its head with his hammer. While that was going on, multiple Unicron manifestations were charging towards the Autobots and mechasuits as they fended off the remaining Decepticons when Fortress Maximus and Metroplex charged at them, Fortress Maximus dodging a lightning bolt before slicing a massive manifestation down while Metroplex fired at the smaller ones on the ground. However, as they brought them down, more suddenly formed.

"These things just won't die!" Fortress Maximus stated. "No matter how many we bring down, ten more rise up to take their places!" Suddenly, a motorcycle engine caught everyone's attention.

*QUE 'DARE TO BE STUPID' BY WEIRD AL YANKOVIC*

The manifestations turned to see the Junkions riding atop massive motorcycles lead my Wreck-Gar.

"Don't look behind door number two Monty!" Wreck-Gar said. "It's time to play 'End of the line, my valentine!' Ger-roni-do-ron-ron-roni-mo!" One of the Junkions then swung a massive morning star at one of the smaller manifestation's head, knocking it off of its body The manifestations shot purple lightning at them, but they easily dodged them as two of them wrapped massive chains around one of the larger manifestations before tugging at them, causing it to fall to the ground.

Some of them then went after some of the Decepticons, dropping large nets on top of some of the Insecticons and bashing the sides of some of the Tankor drones as the drove past them. Some of them were shot down, but they immediately got back up and continued fighting as if it was nothing.

"Why won't these things go down!? down!?" Shrapnel asked.

"It's not knocking them down, it's getting them to STAY down that's the trick!" Bombshell corrected before being knocked down by a Junkion driving to him, knocking him down with a spear that acted as a jousting lance.

"They're indestructible!" Kickback exclaimed.

"And they're everywhere!" Slipstream added as she tried to shoot as many down as she could, but no no avail as not only did they get back up, more of them came in from where they came.

"You check in, but you don't check out," Wreck-Gar said as he used an axe to slice through Unicron manifestations atop his motorcycle.

One of the Junkions then tossed talons that wrapped around Slipstream's legs, causing her to fall and crash into Kickback while more of them tossed chains to bring an airborne Insecticon down to the ground.

Wreck-Gar then got off his motorcycle as it transformed into another Junkion before slicing Unicron manifestations and dodging lightning bolts from them.

Meanwhile, the Dweller was devouring everything in its path when Lin, Su, Wing and Wei swung towards it while Opal and Windblade flew towards it and the Dinobots charged towards it, knowing who controlled the beast. A hatch then opened, revealing Shockwave as he rose upward, looking down at everyone who faced him now.

"Feast on their flesh," he ordered the Dweller before getting off of it, allowing it to burrow underground and head towards Lin and Su, only for them to stomp down on the ground, forcing the Dweller to resurface. Two of its smaller tentacles then went downward in an attempt to jab at them, only for Opal and Windblade to descend towards them, Windblade slicing one of them with her sword and Opal using her airbending to slice the other one off. The Dweller roared out in pain before Grimlock transformed into his robot mode and jumped upward at it, attempting to land on its head and jab his sword into the beast's cortex, only for a tentacle to grab him and toss him at Windblade, knocking them both to the ground.

"Grimlock!" Slug exclaimed before charging towards the Dweller, only for it to dive down towards him, attempting to devour him, but then Swoop descended down and picked him up, narrowly avoiding the Dweller's jaws in the process.

"Yeesh Slug, you could stand to lose a few tons," Swoop remarked while Wing and Wei attempted to earthbend two buildings down at the Dweller in an attempt to crush it, only for it to descend underground and remerge close to Wing and Wei, sending them flying backwards before Moonracer and Firestar sped to them and caught them while Flareup and Elita-1 emerged from atop a building and shot at the Dweller. It roared at them and attempted to ensnare itself around the building only for Asami to fly downward in the Con-Buster and fly into the beast's mouth, a charged repulsor blast ready before sending it out,
causing a massive explosion as Asami bursted through the Dweller's side as it fell, dead. Asami then landed with the others as Knock Out ran to them and Varrick landed beside Asami. However, Shockwave then slowly walked through the corpse of the Dweller and charged his cannon.

"It's time to end this..." he said before firing his cannon.

Meanwhile in the Fire Nation, Ripclaw was setting fire to everything in her sight. Nothing was sacred or safe to her. All that was in her mind set was to burn this entire nation to the ground and rebuild it in her image, when a voice suddenly caught her attention.

"Azula!" Zuko shouted as Ripclaw transformed into her robot mode and turned to see Zuko standing atop a roof, to which she glared at.

"Zuko..." she snarled as she readied her Siphon Claw. "How wonderful to see you again my 'dear brother.'"

"Why start this Azula?" Zuko asked, attempting to reason with his sister despite the fact that her spirit was now inside the body of a Predacon. "The throne is not your destiny."

"This isn't just about the throne dear Zu-Zu," Ripclaw responded. "You and Mai took EVERYTHING away from me, and now, I will destroy your entire world."

"If you so much as lay a finger on my family, I'll-" Zuko shouted, knowing now that any attempt to reason with her was gone.

"You'll do NOTHING!" Ripclaw interrupted before lunging her Siphon Claw at Zuko, which he jumped onto another rooftop to avoid before launching fire blasts at her, only for her to deflect them with her wings. She then opened a hole in her hand and shot a massive lightning bolt at the building that Zuko was standing on, but Zuko was able to land on his feet and run away from Ripclaw.

"Flee, flee! Run for your life!" Ripclaw mocked as she swung her arm at a building, causing it to collapse. "There is nowhere to hide!" She the transformed back into her dragon mode and breathed fire down to the ground as Zuko shielded himself with his firebending. Observing this was Inferno while he was busy slaughtering and burning everything he saw with his flamethrower.

"Royalty!" he called out. "I will assist you!" However, just as he was about to fly to the scene, Drift jumped from a rooftop and tackled Inferno to the ground. Inferno screeched in anger before kicking Drift off of him before getting his blasters ready while Drift readied his swords.

"You and your master's reign of terror ends here Predacon!" Drift declared, only for Inferno to laugh at what he said.

"HAHAHA! You're food for the colony Autobot!" he responded before yelling and charging straight towards Drift.

Back up in space, the Ark continued to evade the laserfire of Cyclonus and his forces while the Aerialbots, Powerglide, Springer, Crosshairs, who was onboard a small shuttle that launched from the Ark, and a squadron of Autobot drones fought back to protect the Ark as it made its way towards Unicron while the laser cannons continued to slow him down. Suddenly however, the pinchers in his planet mode suddenly fired energy towards the cannons, destroying them all with one hit. As if that wasn't enough, the planet mode began to slowly move its parts around as Rodimus' optics widened in pure horror, realizing what he was doing.

"By the Allspark, he's transforming!" he exclaimed as the planet slowly and ominously transformed into a massive robot that looked similar to his manifestations, the massive ring now skeletal like wings behind him and with horns on his head as if he was something that crawled straight out of Hell itself.

"How foolish...to battle in the name of this backwater planet," he said. "How absurd. You must all surely realize...that the end is here." He then began to float towards the planet, much to Rodimus' terror.

"All remaining cannons, position yourselves towards Unicron!" Rodimus shouted into the console. "Autobots, do anything you can to slow him down!"

"We're kinda busy here!" Springer responded through the other side.

"We can't let him reach the planet!" Rodimus argued as the remaining orbital cannons placed around the planet positioned themselves in front of Unicron and fired, forcing him to stand atop of the Moon and fire dark energon blasts from his optics, destroying them while some of the Autobot drones fired at Unicron's head, only for him to swipe at them as if they were flies,
destroying them on impact. Rodimus then set his sights on Unicron's mouth as it opened.

"Hang on Korra!" he said as Korra hend on tightly to the arms on her seat before Rodimus set the engines on the Ark to full throtle, causing it to rocket towards Unicron's mouth. The Ark sucessfully flew inside before firing a hole in what appeared to be a wall and flying through it to prevent being sent to Unicron's stomach. The ship then landed atop what must have been one of Unicron's blood veins before Rodimus and Korra exited the ship, weapons at the ready.

"We have to head for Unicron's spark chamber," Korra stated as he and Rodimus ventured forward through the darkness around them.

"I have a feeling he's not gonna make it easy for us," Rodimus stated. Right on que, from the veins emerged Unicron's manifestations, this time made of glowing, hardened dark energon and surrounded the two of them.

"I am this Universe's past and its future, and soon, the line of Primes and the Avatar Cycle will simply past," they said before charging straight towards them, Rodimus quickly dodging lightning bolts and a swift punch from one of them before kicking it and slicing its head off while Korra firebended at another and got out her sword hilt, igniting it before jabbing it at its chest, causing it to crumble.

Meanwhile, Optimus looked up in horror as Unicron transformed, knowing that Rodimus and Korra did not have much more time to destroy him, when he saw a giant Unicron manifestation, one that was twice the size of Kuvira's mecha giant, begin to march towards the city. Knowing that Wu and the evacuees could still be in the city, he narrowed his optics with determination before flying towards a building that was right in front of him. The manifestation stopped and looked down at Optimus, glaring down at him.

"Optimus Prime..." it growled.

"You cannot pass!" Optimus declared as he got a massive sword out. "The darkness will not avail you Lord of Chaos. Go back to the shadow!" The manifestation however began charging his hands with purple lightning and prepared to attack Optimus.

"YOU...SHALL NOT...PASS!" Optimus shouted before leaping from the building and plunging his sword to the ground, causing the ground bellow the manifestation to begin to crack and send it falling to the depths, crumbling to pieces as it did so. While that was going on, Soundwave was dodging attacks from Sideswipe and Sunstreaker left and right, deflecting Sideswipe's swords and dodging Sunstreaker's blaster, when Sideswipe suddenly kicked him towards Sunstreaker and he punched straight through Soundwave's gut, causing him to get on one knee.

"Had enough Decepti-creep?" Sideswipe asked, only for Soundwave to suddenly launch a tentacle at Sunstreaker, grabbing him with it and tossing him at Sideswipe, causing them both to fall to the ground. He then walked towards the two Autobots, only for Sideswipe to grab one of his swords and slice Soundwave's right arm off. He then clutched it, trying to slow the bleeding when Sideswipe kicked him to thr ground and ran towards him, only for a tentacle to trip him to the ground. He then jumped up and attempted to slam his knee at Sideswipe's chest, only for Sunstreaker to tackle him to the ground. However, Sideswipe then got back up and thrusted his sword at Soundwave's spark before grabbing his brother and falling back.

"INTEGRITY...DROPPING..." Soundwave said before spontaneously exploding, his parts scattered all across the battlefield.

"Ha ha! No one does a cheep shot at Sunstreaker and gets away with it!" Sunstreaker said before high-fiving his brother.

Back inside Unicron, Rodimus had fired three arrows at the manifestations in front of him before they exploded, destroying them when another tried to get the drop on him. However, Korra launched herself at it and kicked it away from him before firebending at it while using her sword to slice another one down. Rodimus then got out his blaster and lept up at another manifestation, firing at its back before kicking it down and firing an explosive arrow from his crossbow to destroy another. He then transformed into his vehicle mode and ran three more over before Korra jumped atop of him and used her fire sword to slice the arm off of one that tried to attack him. However, another manifestation then swiped Korra off of him and grabbed Rodimus, forcing him to transform.

"I'll crush you with my bare hands!" it shouted.

"You think you can back that threat up!?" Korra responded before slicing it in half vertically and walking up to Rodimus. "You alright?"

"I'm fine," Rodimus answered as he got back on his feet, only for more manifestations to form. "They're only gonna keep coming until we're both dead!"

"Then it looks like we'll have to fight our way to his spark chamber," Korra responded before the two of them charged at the manifestations.

Outside in space, the Autobots were busy trying to slow Unicron down as he breathed purple fire at them, destroying four drones, when Cyclonus flew in with Scourge and shot at them.

"Death to all Autobots!" Scourge shouted before Silverbolt formed in front of him and fired his new shoulder cannons at him. However, Lugnut then flew in and punched him, only for Crosshairs' shuttle to swoop down and fire at him.

"C'mon Silverbolt, take him out!" Crosshairs shouted through his comlink before banking to the right to dodge a punch from Lugnut while three Sweeps started to fire at him. However, Silverbolt and the other Aerialbots then merged into Superion and flew down to shoot at the Sweeps, only for an explosion to send him flying. He regained control and turned around to see Lugnut floating in front of him, confirming he used his explosive punch on him.

"Size matters not, compared to the mighty rule o-" Lugnut declared, only for Superion to suddenly punch him, sending him crashing into the Moon. His victor was short lived however as Superion quickly dodged a massive lightning bolt from Unicron's hand.

"I've got better things to do tonight than die!" Springer stated as he dodged the lightning bolt and shot down two Sweeps with Powerglide.

Back on Earth, Izumi merely watched from a bunker as her father continued to fend off Ripclaw along with her mother. Suddenly, she gasped in horror as he was blasted back against a building and suddenly ran out of the bunker's safety.

"Izumi, wait!" Mai called out.

While that was going on, Drift was busy dodging laser blasts from Inferno as he laughed like a maniac.

"BUUUUUUURN AUTOBOT!" he shouted before activating his flamethrower, which Drift used his swords to deflect the flames. Drift then walked forward until he was close enough to Inferno and kicked him against a wall before jumping at him, only for Inferno to punch him to the ground. He then ran at him, only for Drift to leap back onto his feet and swing his swords at Inferno, which he dodged, only to get punched in the face, to which he punched back and forced Drift to the ground, bashing his head against the ground, only for Drift to kick him off of him. Inferno then got out his blasters and opened fire, only for Drift to suddenly lunge himself at Inferno and grab his arm, forcing his blaster to point at his head before forcing it to fire, blasting Inferno's head clean off his body before it fell to the ground. Breathing heavily, Drift put his swords back onto his back, only for a blast of blue fire to propel him against a building. He weakly looked up to see Ripclaw flying above him.

"A pity you Autobots die so easily, or I might have a hint of satisfaction now," she growled, only for a huge blast of fire to send her to the ground, cutting her hide on the side near her spark. She then got back up to see Zuko jumping down at her from a building, but she then reacted by swinging her tail, causing Zuko to be sent against a wall and for him to fall. He groaned in pain before Ripclaw transformed and landed in front of him.

"You care about him, don't you?" she asked. "Good. Then you can watch him DIE." She then began to walk towards Drift, but then...

"HERE!" Izumi's voice shouted, causing Ripclaw to stop in her tracks. "You witless worm!" Snarling, Ripclaw then turned to see Izumi standing atop a bell tower, wearing an atire similar to her mother's during the Hundred Year War.

"You..." Ripclaw sneered as she transformed back into her dragon mode and walked towards her.

"I am taking back what you stole," Izumi declared.

"You will take NOTHING from me, my dear niece," Ripclaw responded. "I laid low your gresteast firebenders. I instilled terror in the hearts of men. I, am queen, of the Fire Nation!"

"You are no queen, and this is not your nation!" Izumi shouted. "This is our land, and we will have our revenge!" Ripclaw then roared out in anger and breathed a massive amout of fire at the bell tower, only for Izumi to jump off of it and onto the roof of another building before tossing glowing energon stilettos at Ripclaw, only for her to deflect them with her wings. Izumi then firebended at Ripclaw, only for her to fly upwards and swoop downward towards her, only for Izumi to jump and land fairly harshly on another building before Ripclaw crashed into her. She then shielded herself from more blue fire before Ripclaw transformed and plunged her Siphon claw her way. Izumi quickly jumped out of its path, but the force of the impact caused her to be sent against a wall. She then quickly got back up though and jumped from building to building, tossing more energon stilettos at Ripclaw as she transformed into her dragon mode and breathed fire towards all of the buildings, but Izumi was too fast as she landed on another rooftop. Izumi then spotted the area where Ripclaw was cut and watched as Ripclaw began to crawl towards her, snarling, before narrowing her eyes, focusing on that area. She then tossed an energon stiletto towards it, impacting the cut and slicing through it, impalling Ripclaw's spark. Ripclaw roared in pain as she crashed against the building while Izumi jumped down to the ground to avoid her as she began flying upwards, still roaring out in pain before suddenly going silent and still, plummeting to the water and impacting harshly.
Izumi readied herself for Ripclaw to emerge, but she didn't. She was dead once more. Izumi then quickly ran over to her father and assisted him back to his feet.

"I-Izumi?" Zuko asked.

"Let's get you some help Father," Izumi responded as she helped Zuko towards the bunker while Drift got himself back up and followed.

Back at New Iacon, Wing and Wei were dodging the laser blasts from Shockwave's cannon as they launched cables towards him, but he shielded himself with his cannon arm, only for Grimlock to charge towards him. However, Shockwave reacted by bashing him with his cannon arm, forcing Wing and Wei to fall back before Grimlock crushed them. Varrick then quickly stepped in and fired a small missile launcher on his left shoulder that impacted Shockwave and caused him to stumble backwards a bit, but he was still able to aim at him. However, an airbending blast prevented him from doing so and he looked up to see Opal flying above him and landing atop a building. Shockwave then fired at the building, causing it to begin to collapse.

"OPAL!" Su cried out in horror as Opal began to fall, the wings on her suit ripped from the debris, when suddenly, Bolin ran to the picture and propelled himself with earthbending to catch Opal before landing on the ground.

"Opal, are yo-" Bolin was about to ask, only for Opal to interrupt him by suddenly kissing his lips. Though slightly surprised, Bolin didn't hesitate to return this.

"I love you Bolin," Opal said.

"I love you too Opal," Bolin responded. This tender moment was interrupted however when Shockwave aimed his cannon at the two of them.

"How touching..." he coldly said. "The lovers can now die together."

"Not today!" Kuvira's voice shouted as she, now inside a mechasuit, jumped up onto Shockwave's back and punched his face while Su and Lin metalbended cables at Shockwave's feet and tripped him. However, right before he landed, Shockwave transformed into his tank mode and fired at everyone, causing them to fall back into cover. Right when one was about to hit Knock Out, Asami jumped down in her Con-Buster and fired a blast that generated a shield to deflect the laser fire. Then Blaster suddenly jumped on top of him and turned the tank barrel away from them.

"Come on Decepticon punk!" he said before Shockwave transformed back into his robot mode and punched Blaster in the face and tossed him against a building's wall. Lin then earthbended a giant slab of earth and launched it at Shockwave, causing him to fall to the ground before she and Su ran towards him. He attempted to fire at them, but then Varrick fired a missile at his cannon arm, causing it to move back and fire at a building instead. Shockwave then attempted to stomp at Su and Lin, only for them to jump out of the way and wall run up two seperate buildings before metalbending cables at his arms while Kuvira, Wing and Wei bent cables at his legs, forcing him to the ground. He struggled to get back up when Grimlock slammed his foot on him, forcing him to stay down.

"I've been waiting for this moment for a long time Shockwave," Grimlock growled before getting his massive sword out and plunging it into his optic and slicing his head in half vertically, killing him instantly. Lin and Su watched this as Lin breathed deeply, knowing this long struggle to take this monster down was finally over. However, all of a sudden, a group of manifestations of Unicron formed in front of them and one of them plunged their fists down to the ground, causing everyone to fall to the ground. It then advanced to Su, only for Kuvira to run in between them.

"Kuvira, what are you doing!?" Su asked.

"Go back to the abyss where you came from!" Kuvira shouted at the manifestations. "Fall into the nothingness that awaits you!"

"Do you not know death when you see it, human?" the lead manifestation asked as he tore the mechasuit open and tossed Kuvira out of it. "This is my hour!" He then unleashed a torrent of purple lightning and used it to levitate Kuvira upwards as she screamed out in agony, feeling herself burning from every inch of her body before a bright light blinded everyone and there was nothing left of Kuvira except ashes.

"KUVIRA!" Su exclaimed before attempting to charge at the manifestations, only for one of them to bash her up to the rest as they slowly advanced to them.

Up in space, the Autobots continued to shoot more and more Sweeps down, but they were powerless to stop Unicron from destroying the final orbital cannon and begin to make his way to Earth, breathing purple fire from his mouth to attack the Autobots as thet desperately tried to stop him.

"Come on guys, we're running out of time," Springer silently said.

Inside Unicron, Rodimus and Korra continued to slice their way through Unicron's manifestations when one of them suddenly punched Korra to the wall, causing her to fall harshly to the ground. Seeing this, Rodimus immediately sliced the the one he was fighting in half and ran in between Korra and the manifestation just as it plunged its hook hand towards her. Rodimus then swung his sword, decapitating it, but not before feeling a jolt of pain in his chest. As the manifestation crumbled, he looked down to see a large hole in his chest and fell to the ground. Korra saw everything unfold before her eyes in shock and horror before immediately unleashing a blast of airbending that took out the rest of the manifestations that surrounded them. She then quickly ran to Rodimus, who was coughing as he continued to bleed.

"Don't move," Korra advised as she turned back into her human form and despirately attempted to use her waterbending healing abilities to fix the wound. "Don't move, lie still."

"I-it's no use..." Rodimus weakly responded. "Korra...i-it's up to you now..."

"No...no Rodimus, you're going to be okay," Korra argued, tears beginning to swell. "You're going to live."

"D-don't grieve..." Rodimus replied. "As Ultra Magnus said to Aang once...the needs of the many...outweigh...

"The needs of the few," Korra finished for him as the tears began to fall.

"Or the one..." Rodimus added. "I would gladly die for you...a thousand times...for you have been...and always shall be...my friend..." All Korra could do was allow the tears to flow down her face as she softly began to sob while Rodimus gently placed his hand on top of her's.

"N-now go..." he said. "Use the power of the Matrix...l-light our darkest hour...until all...a-are one..." With that, he slowly closed his optics, causing Korra's already red eyes to widen.

"No...No, no, no, no!" she pleaded. "Rodimus, don't you dare..."

"Goodbye Korra..." was all Rodimus said before his body went limp and finally died, but Korra refused to believe it.

"No...no stay with me!" Korra sobbed as she continued to try to heal the wound. "You stay with me. Rodimus...please. Please!" Finally beginning to come to terms, all she could do now was sob over his body, her tears continuing to flow. Suddenly, Unicron's manifestation formed behind her as she continued to cry, smirking in a sadistic manner.

"Tell me...WRETCH...how now shall you challenge me?" Unicron asked as Korra didn't even turn around to face him. "You have nothing left...but your DEATH!" He then roared out and began to charge straight at Korra, ready to kill her and destroy the shard of the Matrix inside of her, when Rodimus' chest began to glow and the Matrix floated up to Korra, causing Unicron to stop and shield his optics.

*QUE 'THE TOUCH' BY STAN BUSH*

Korra's eyes widened as she looked down as the Matrix, in its entirety, began to enter her.

She could feel her techno-organic mode forming, except this time, she began to grow to the size of a regular Cybertronian as well.

YEAH!

"Arise, Korramus Prime," the voices of the original Primes, Optimus and Rodimus said as Korra was now the same as her techno-organic mode, except now as an actual Cybertronian and her face was now metal, her eyes replaced with light blue optics.

"NO!" Unicron exclaimed in rage before shooting lightning bolts towards Korra, now Korramus Prime, only for her to bring out a sword that turned into ice and plunged it to the ground, causing a shield of ice to form in front of her and deflect the lightning.

"This is the end of the road Unicron!" Korramus declared as the ice in her sword now turned to fire before she charged towards the manifestation.

AFTER ALL IS SAID AND DONE

The manifestation attempted to stab her with his hooked hand, only for Korramus to slice it off and stab it in the chest before tossing it with such force that it broke through the wall and into space.

More manifestations then charged at her, only for her sword to change into an earth sword and for her to plunge it to the ground, causing it to rip in two and send a majority of the manifestations to fall through before Korramus charged at the others.

Korramus' sword then changed back to an ice sword and she plunged it to a manifestation, causing it to freeze before turning the sword to an air sword and pointed it at more of the manifestations, causing a tornado to come out and tear them apart.

She then punched another to the ground and sliced its head off before getting out a blaster rifle similar to Optimus' and fired at the other ones, causing them to fall to the ground.

Now that the manifestations were down for now, Korramus began to run towards where Unicron's spark was when tentacles came in from the walls and grabbed her.

However, after struggling for a few seconds, she mustered up the strength to rip them off the walls and free herself before slicing the others that came after them with her sword.

At long last, she was inside Unicron's spark chamber and opened her chest, revealing the Matrix.

"Now...light our darkest hour!" she declared before unleashing a massive blast from the Matrix that hit the spark dead on, causing it to explode and begin a chain reaction while outside in space, Unicron thrashed around in an attempt to stop her.

As Korramus ran down the pathways as explosions began to surround her, she came back to Rodimus' body and picked him up gently.

"Come on old friend," she said. "We're going home." She then ran back towards where the Ark was and prepped it for take off.

The Ark flew straight through Unicron's optic as cracks began to form all over his body and he continued to thrash around while the Autobots that were trying to slow him down all quickly retreated.

"Autobots, Unicron is going to explode at any second!" Korramus stated. "Get out of there while you still can!"

"You heard the lady, let's move!" Silverbolt ordered as he and the others immediately flew back down to Earth.

YOU KNOW YOU GOT THE TOUCH

Back down at Earth, the Unicron manifestations that were advancing towards Lin, Su, Bolin and the others suddenly crumbled before them much to their surprise.

"What's happening?" Lin asked.

"Guys, look!" Blaster said as everyone looked up to see Unicron thrashing around, one of his legs having broken off.

At this moment, Unicron was mere seconds away from finally being destroyed for good.

"Destiny..." Unicron growled.

"You cannot...destroy..."

"...my...DESTINYYYYYY!"

However, right when he said that, Unicron's head blew off and went into orbit around the Earth.

The rest of his body then exploded, the shock waves causing Cyclonus, Scourge and the other Sweeps to plummet back down to the planet while the explosion created a spectacular display for everyone on the planet.

TOUCH!

Seeing the explosion, Tenzin, his children, Bumblebee, Waspinator, Bulkhead, Mako, Arcee, Bolin, Blaster, Asami, Knock Out, Lin, Su, Varrick, Zhu-Li and Optimus Prime ran over to see it.

"They did it!" Arcee stated. "Unicron's gone!" Then, they saw the Ark as well as the other Autobots flying down and landing in front of them.

"And they made it!" Asami added as she and the others went to the Ark's doors as they opened, only to see a somber Korramus carrying Rodimus' body before gently setting it down and falling on her knees as she reverted back to Korra, who began sobbing once more. Any happiness that the others felt immediately vanished upon seeing this.

Though the battle was finally over and the remaining Decepticons having surrendered, it came with a cost. Outside of City Hall, a space coffin containing Rodimus' body was ready for launch as everyone gathered to mourn their fallen friend, Korra having a few things to say.

"We're assembled here today...to pay final respects to our honored dead..." she said, trying to fight back more tears. "And yet it should be noted that in the midst of our sorrow, this death takes place in the sunrise of the world he gave his life to protect and nourish. He did not feel this sacrifice a vain or empty one, and we will not debate this at these proceedings. Of my friend I can only say this. I first met him when I was three years old...and of all the sparks I have encountered in my travels...his was the most..." At last, she could fight the tears no more and paused to let them start flowing down her face.

"...the most human," she finished before placing her hand on the coffin. "Goodbye..." With that, she backed away and allowed the coffin to be launched into space, everyone standing upright as a sign of respect as the coffin made it to the vast reaches of space. Korra could take this pain no more and walked inside the building. She sat down at an open window, tears still flowing when Optimus Prime approached her.

"He is not really dead," he stated, causing Korra to turn to him. "As long as we remember him."

"What do you mean?" Korra asked.

"A Prime and an Avatar are not as different as one would think," Optimus answered, kneeling down to her level. "Both are the symbols of balance and peace in their respective worlds, both will always endure many struggles and much pain in their lifetime..."

"And both have connections to their past lives..." Korra finished, her eyes widening in realization, causing Optimus to smile down at her.

"You and Rodimus will always be together, the best of friends from now until the end of time itself," Optimus stated. Korra then looked down, closing her eyes and cocentrating on the Matrix the same way she would concentrate on Raava's energies before opening them, finding herself in the same astrial lights and in her Korramus form, only instead of Prima, there was Rodimus, who smiled at her. Beaming with joy, Korra quickly ran over to him and hugged her friend tightly, which he returned.

"The Earth...is it out of danger?" Rodimus asked. "Did we win?"

"We won Rodimus, thanks to you," Korramus answered.

"No Korra, I can't take all of the credit," Rodimus responded. "I wasn't the one who destroyed Unicron."

"So what happens now?" Korramus asked. "Now that I'm a Prime, what happens to the cycles?"

"They have become one now," Rodimus answered. "The Matrix is now perminantly bonded with Raava, meaning whoever is the next Avatar will also become the next Prime."

"Rodimus, I am so sorry that all of this happened," Korramus stated. "I should have been able to prevent this."

"Korra, don't grieve," Rodimus reassured. "I knew that someday I may have to lay down my life for yours, and I would do so gladly, a thousand times like I said." Korramus smiled in response and hugged Rodimus once more.

It had been some time since that day, and now was the time for celebration, for everyone had gathered at Air Temple Island for the marriage of Varrick and Zhu-Li.

"And though the battle took a severe toll on our beloved city, out of the destruction, love did bloom," Bolin said, standing beside Varrick and Zhu-Li, smiles on their faces and both of them in their wedding outfits and fake snow falling around them. "So that is why, dearest friends and family, we gather today to celebrate the wondrous and at times inexplicable bond between Sir Varrick and the Lady Zhu-Li." It was at this moment that the cameraman was pointing his camera towards the audience.

"Hey, pal," Varrick irritably whispered. "Camera on me. This is my big day!" The camera man then quickly turned the camera to him and Zhu-Li.

"True love is a fickle creature, difficult to find, nearly impossible to tame, but Varrick and Zhu Li have proven that even the longest of long shots can have a chance at happiness together," Bolin continued, Varrick raising a questionable eyebrow at the words 'long shots.' "Now for the vows!" Pabu, also dressed in a formal outfit, jumped onto Bolin's shoulder with a chirp, Bolin removing a small scorll tied to the bottom of Pabu's chin.

"Thank you Master Pabu," Bolin said as he began reading the vows. "Do you, Sir Iknik Blackstone Varrick of the Southern Water Tribe, master of the high seas, take the Lady Zhu-Li Moon to be your lawfully wedded wife? Will you promise to treat her not as your assistant but as your honored and cherished partner?"

"You're darn tootin' I do!" Varrick answered.

"And do you, Zhu-Li, take Varrick to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Bolin asked Zhu-Li. "Do you promise to care for him in sickness and in health, and...and also scrub his calluses on a bi-weekly basis, which isn't really that much to ask-Okay, I'm not reading all this."

"I do take Varrick, calluses and all," Zhu-Li softly answered as she and Varrick took a step towards each other.

"You may now...do the thing," Bolin said before Zhu-Li suddenly dipped her new husband, surprising him before the two of them kissed. Varrick then stood up again, hand in hand with Zhu-Li as the wedding guests errupted into cheers and whistles before tears formed in Varrick's eyes.

"Are you all right?" Zhu-Li asked.

"You just make me so dang happy," Varrick answered as he rested his head against Zhu-Li's. Varrick then reached into his pocket and pulled out a remote, pressing a button before fireworks whistled into the sky before popping into a colorful fireworks display.

Later that evening during the wedding reception, jazz music was playing courtesy of a band lead by Thano and with Hasook, Lu, Gang and two of the Wolfbats and Varrick and Zhu-Li were waltzing on the dance floor, where Bolin and Opal were also dancing, while Waspinator sat at a table, drinking energon.

"Ah, Waspinator happy, at last," he happily said before Ikki suddenly pulled him away from the table excitedly towards the dance floor. During all of this, Mako, who was now sporting a mechanical left arm after what he had done to Kuvira's mecha giant's core, and Arcee were talking to Prince Wu.

"Mako's cousin told me how level-headed you were during the whole evacuation," Arcee stated. "I gotta admit, I'm impressed."

"I think you're gonna make a great leader," Mako added before pointing strenly at Wu. "But that doesn't mean I'm gonna set you up with Korra. She's with Asami now so don't ask."

"That's okay Mako," Wu responded. "Sometimes a good evacuation is its own reward."

"Good to see you Prince Wu," Korra said as she approached the three of them. "Or should I say King Wu? You ready to get back to Ba Sing Se and finally take the throne?"

"Yeah, about that," Wu answered. "I was actually thinking of stepping down as king and getting rid of the monarchy altogether."

"...Are you joking?" Arcee asked.

"For once, I'm not," Wu earnestly answered. "I'm not. Now, I know what you're gonna say: I'm being lazy, I'm afraid of responsibility, I'm putting my singing career before my people, but it's none of those things. I really think the Earth Kingdom would be better off if the states were independent and had elected leaders like the United Republic."

"That's actually pretty wise and mature of you," Mako responded.

"I think it's a great idea," Korra added. "The Earth Kingdom should evolve, and I'll do everything in my power to help you make that happen."

"Looking forward to working with you, but for now, the dance floor calls!" Wu replied before slowly plodding towards the dance floor.

"How's the arm?" Korra asked Mako, looking slightly guilty.

"Gonna take some getting use to, but much better," Mako answered as he moved the fingers on his mechanical arm.

"The words 'thank you' don't feel big enough for what you did, but I honestly don't know what else to say," Korra replied.

"You don't need to say anything," Mako responded. "I want you to know I'll follow you into battle no matter how crazy things get. I've got your back and I always will."

Later that night, Korra leaned against the gate to Air Temple Island, gazing at the new spirit portal while Naga rested near her, when Tenzin approached her and stood beside her.

"I spoke to Cerebros," he said. "Tomorrow, he's announcing a plan to expand the city rather than rebuild downtown."

"I bet Aang never could've imagined there'd be a spirit portal right in the heart of New Iacon," Korra responded.

"Korra, you've transformed the world more in a few years than most Avatars did during their lifetimes," Tenzin reassured as Korra looked down sadly.

"But I feel like I've only just begun," Korra stated. "There's so much more I want to learn and do."

"You don't know how happy I am to hear you so full of hope again," Tenzin replied with a smile.

"It's been a bit of a bumpy ride, huh?" Korra asked.

"I've come to realize life is one big bumpy ride," Tenzin answered.

"I know I was in a pretty dark place after I was poisoned, but I finally understand why I had to go through all that," Korra said. "I needed to understand what true suffering was so I could become more compassionate to others, even to people like Kuvira." Tenzin, still smiling, then placed a hand on Korra's shoulder, causing Korra to smile again when Asami approached the two of them.

"Excuse me, Tenzin?" Asami asked, causing the two of them to turn to her. "Varrick is looking for you. Something about wanting to try out a glider suit to fly off the tower?" Suddenly, Tenzin's expression changed to alarm.

"That doesn't seem like a good idea!" Tenzin responded as he rushed off, Korra and Asami with amused smiles.

"Want to sit with me for a minute?" Korra asked. "I'm not ready to get back to the party just yet." Smiling, Asami walked forward and sat down next to Korra, placing her hand on top of her's.

"I don't think I ever really apologized," Korra said.

"For what?" Asami asked.

"For being gone all that time," Korra answered. "For not coming back sooner."

"You don't need to apologize for anything," Asami responded. "I'm just so happy you're here now. I don't think I could have handled losing you and my father in the same day." Tears then began to well up in Asami's eyes at the thought of her father.

"I am so sorry about what happened to him," Korra said as she embraced her.

"And I'm sorry about what happened to Rodimus," Asami added as she returned the hug.

"So what now?" Korra asked as they dropped their arms. "Back to the dance floor?"

"I'm kind of all danced out," Asami answered. "Honestly, after everything that's happened the past few months, I could use a vacation." Hearing this, Korra thought of something.

"Let's do it," she said as she looked to her excitedly. "Let's go on a vacation, just the two of us, anywhere you want."

"Really?" Asami asked before glancing down in thought. "Okay. I've always wanted to see what the Spirit World's like."

"Sound's perfect," Korra replied.

Later, the two of them, out of their formal outfits and in their usual outfits while carrying camping knapsacks, looked up at New Iacon's spirit portal before Korra turned to Asami with a smile, which she returned. Hand in hand, the two of them walked inside before turning to face each other and giving a gentle kiss before they were inside the Spirit World.

Twenty years have passed since then, and the Ark was heading up into space towards a massive space bridge that orbited the planet. Korra, now forty one years old and wearing a wedding ring, was standing at the bridge of the Ark, watching as the space bridge opened and sent them towards their destination: Cybertron. Soon, the planet would finally be free of over ninety years of Decepticon tyranny. She then turned to Asami, who was in her armor and waiting for her at the door, wearing the same wedding ring. Before the door opened, Asami pulled Korra to her and gave her a gentle kiss.

"For luck," Asami said as Korra smiled at her before the doors opened, revealing Mako, Arcee, Bolin, Blaster, Knock Out, Jinora, Bumblebee, Ikki, Waspinator, Meelo, Bulkhead, Rohan and Optimus Primal standing there, the humans in Asami's armors and Autobots and Maximals standing behind them as Korra transformed into Korramus Prime and got her massive sword out.

"Let's roll out!" she said before the Ark began to fly towards Cybertron.

I'M SURE THAT YOU ALL WOULD WANT ME TO KEEP GOING, AND I'M FLATTERED THAT YOU'RE THIS ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT THIS UNIVERSE I MOLDED, BUT I REALLY DO THINK THAT I SHOULD JUST PUT THIS SERIES TO BED BEFORE IT RUNS OUT OF STEAM, LIKE WHAT MIKE AND BRYAN SHOULD DO WITH THE AVATAR UNIVERSE IN TERMS OF TELEVISION. OR HELL, EVEN IN OTHER MEDIAS. REMEMBER THAT TERRIBLE LEGEND OF KORRA VIDEO GAME?

IN TERMS OF OTHER PROJECTS, I DO HAVE OTHER STORIES IN MIND, NAMELY ONES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH CROSSING TRANSFORMERS OR BEAST WARS WITH THE SHOW STORM HAWKS, BUT I'M SURE THAT YOU'D RATHER ME TALK ABOUT THE FUTURE OF DAWN OF THE KAIJUS. AND IT SADDENS ME TO SAY THAT IT MAY GO UNDER A REWRITE. LET ME BE PERFECTLY CLEAR THOUGH, I AM NOT ABANDONING IT. THERE ARE TWO REASONS I MAY REWRITE IT THOUGH. ONE: I FEEL AS THOUGH I MAY HAVE RUSHED A FEW THINGS ON IT.
