As the Professor and his daughters stepped out of the portal, they spotted the comforting and familiar sight of their lab.

As the Utonium family started to rejoice the fact that they were home! They suddenly heard a from not to long ago say "So this is your lab? Sweet!"

At once, Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup and the Professor quickly spun around to see Mikey stepping out of the portal.

For a moment, the Utonium family stared at the mutant turtle in shock. Then Buttercup was the first to find her voice with "Are you crazy! This was a one way trip! Do you have any idea how hard it will be for us to send you back to your world now!?"

"I just wanted to see your world." Mikey protested in a somewhat sad voice.

However, Buttercup was having none of it. "Well you did and you managed to invent a new kind of stupid, a damage you can never undo kind of stupid, an open all the cages in the zoo kind of stupid, truly you didn't think this through kind of stupid."

As she finished, Mikey began to cry.

"That was mean." Bubbles almost hissed.

"It's his own fault." Buttercup defended.

"That still doesn't give you the right to make him cry, apologize to him at once." The Professor ordered.

Buttercup frowned as she turned towards the turtle and said "I'm sorry."

At her words, Mikey pulled Buttercup into a hug as he said "It's okay, I forgive you."

Buttercup frowned and tried to free herself from Mikey's hug, but one look of disapproval from her family and Buttercup allowed Mikey to continue to hug her.

Once he let go of the five year old, Mikey asked "So when are we going to take a tour of your town?"

At once, Buttercup felt the urge to facepalm.

However, Bubbles then said "As soon as we arrange things with our mayor."

"Bubbles..." Both Blossom and Buttercup started to say at the same time, but Bubbles interrupted with "He wants to see our world and if a Monkey can shop in a grocery store here, then why shouldn't Mikey see our world?"

Blossom, Butterup and the Professor had no response to that, Bubbles did have a point since Mojo jo-jo was allowed to go shopping for food in spite of the fact that he was a criminal.

A few moments later, Blossom called the mayor's office. The leader of the powerpuffs waited for a few minutes before she heard the mayor's voice say "Hello Blossom, this a surprise. Usually it's me calling you and your sisters. So, what special day is it?"

"Mayor, a new friend of ours came to Townsvile all the way from New York and he wants to see our city." Blossom began to explain.

"If he's a visitor, then why do you need to tell me about him? Of course he visit our city." The Mayor int interrupted.

"Well, his name is Mikey and he's...a little bit..different." Blossom started to say.

"How's he different? Is disabled or something?" The Mayor wondered.

"No, he's not disabled." Blossom replied before she paused unsure of how to explain it over the phone. Then the leader of the powerpuff added "You know how the gang green gang, Mojo-jojo, Fuzzy lampkins and the ameba boys are all different?"

"Wait a minute, are you saying that this Mikey is a criminal mastermind?!" The Mayor once again interrupted. This time, sounding worried.

"No, he's not a criminal mastermind, Mikey's just a mutant." Blossom explained in a soothing tone.

"Hey! I'm not just a mutant. I'm a cool mutant! I'm a teenage mutant ninja turtle!" an annoyed Mikey called out.

"Mikey, I'm on the phone!" an equally annoyed Blossom stated as she temporary covered the phone.

"Huh?" the Mayor wondered from the other end.

"Sorry, about that Mayor. Mikey interrupted me." Blossom replied as she quickly put the phone right back next to her ear. "Anyway, as I was saying Mikey is a mutant, but he's a good mutant whose family helped ours."

"What did he and his family do for you?" The Mayor wondered.

"They helped us rescue the Professor." Blossom replied.

"How did the Professor end up in New York?" The Mayor questioned.

"Let's just say, it was an experiment gone wrong." Blossom stated.

"You said it." Mikey piped up in agreement.

As Blossom continued to talk with the Mayor, Mikey started to wonder what his family and friends where up to.

Meanwhile, back in the parallel New York City, Raph was shouting "I'm going to kill him!"

"Calm down, Raph." Leo stated.

"Calm down?! How can you be so calm when our little brother got himself stuck in another world?!" Raph yelled.

"Raphael! Enough!" ordered Splinter.

Raph glowered but said nothing.

"Donatello is working on a way to restart the portal and I'm sure that the Professor is doing the same in his world." Splinter reminded his hot-tempered son.

"I'm working on it as fast I can." Donnie called out from his lab.

"Can't you go any faster?" Raph snapped impatiently.

"Go to your room now!" Splinter ordered in a tone that left no room for augment.

Knowing better then to anger Splinter, Raph hurried towards his room.

"Do you think that Mikey's okay? Leo asked his father, unable to hide the worry on his face.

An equally worried Splinter looked at his eldest son as he replied "The girls won't let anything happen to him and Micheangelo can take care of himself."

Back at the Utonium household, Bubbles was giving Mikey a tour.

"This is our kitchen." Bubbles explained as she showed the turtle the white clean room.

"It's so clean!" Mikey cried out with excitement in his voice.

"What food do you guys have? Would you like me to cook for you guys?" He added.

"Hey, you're a guest. It's our job to provide for you." The Professor called up from the lab.

From the living room, Buttercup muttered from her under breath "Only because you ran after us, when you told not too."

"What was that?" The Professor called up from his lab.

"Nothing!" Buttercup hastily added.

"Can I see your rooms next?" Mikey asked.

"I want to show you the bathroom, the backyard and the guest room first." Bubbles replied politely.

"You have a backyard? Can I go see it? Can I Can I?" an excited Mikey all but begged.

Bubbles giggled at Mikey's enthusiasm before she replied "Of course, you can. After I show you the upstairs."

"Upstairs? What do you guys have upstairs?" Mikey questioned.

Then he realized "Wait you guys have an upstairs?"

Bubbles once again let out a giggle as she said "Well, we do have a bathroom filled with towels, shampoo, soap and a rubber ducky. In my sisters and my room, we have a bunch of toys, books and clothes. We even also have a costume closet."

Mikey could only grin in happiness.

A few minutes later, Mikey was checking out the powerpuff girl's bedroom. It was very pink, but the bed sheets were a mix of pink, blue and green.

"Woah! Cool windows!" Mikey phrased, before he gasped at the sight of the city. "Oh, the view is so beautiful! I wish me and my family had a view of NYC like this!"

Then Bubbles remembered that he and his brothers only recently been given premison to go to the surface this past year.

Not knowing what else to say, Bubbles said "You can enjoy the view anytime you like as long as you're here."

"Really?!" A delighted Mikey cried with joy.

Bubbles simply nodded.

"Oh thank you! Thank you so much!" Mikey cried with joy as he pulled Bubbles into a hug.

Sometime later, the Untoniums and Mikey were in the kitchen enjoying a nice dinner that consisted of pizza, pasta, garlic bread and chocolate cake.

"You guys didn't have to make me a nice dinner." Mikey stated with glee as he ate a slice of pizza.

"As we already told you, you're our guest Mikey." The Professor replied as he ate some pasta.

"This is good! I haven't had chocolate cake in a long time." Bubbles stated as she eyed the cake with joy. "I should be thanking you Mikey."

As Mikey let out some laughter, Buttercup added "Don't forget, this only happened because Mikey decided to follow us home."

At her words, Mikey's grin faded as he suddenly remembered his family that was all the way back in an alternate New York City.

Sensing his feelings, Bubbles reached out and gently patted him on his right arm.

Mikey smiled in thanks as his mind wandered back towards his family.

I hope they're okay. Mikey thought to himself with worry.

Meanwhile, back in the Turtle's alternate NY, at that very moment, Donnie was still working on that portal non-stop.

"Donnatello, how are you feeling my son?" asked Splinter as he entered the lab.

At the sound of his father's voice, Donnie stopped working on the portal and turned to face Splinter.

"I just feel so hopeless Master Splinter." Donnie confessed. "I just kept working and working, but I'm nowhere closer to starting up the portal again than I was several hours ago."

Splinter rubbed his right paw under his bread before he said "Why don't you take a break Donatello? Perhaps, the chance to clear your mind will help you work better."

Sometime later, the two of them where sitting in the kitchen, drinking green tea together.

"What do you think Mikey's doing with the Utoniums right now? Donnie wondered as he took a slip of tea.

Splinter continued to drink his tea for a bit before he replied with "I'm sure they are treating him like a guest after all we did for them. They strike me as a honorable family who would gladly repay us in return."

Donnie then pictured Mikey and the Powerpuff girls having fun and fighting crime together. He then felt a mixture of longing and envy at the fun that the girls and Mikey were having.

Almost as if he could read Donnie's thoughts, Splinter said "Donatello, don't forget what Mikey did to get to the world of the girls."

"How could I, Leo and Raph forget?" Donnie replied as he recalled how upset he and his family was when Mikey ran into the portal and left them behind.

"Will Mikey be punished?" Donnie asked carefully, not wanting to sound he wanted his little brother to be harshly punished.

Splinter carefully rubbed his right paw under his bread again before he replied with "He will be punished, but not too harshly of course."

"I wonder what Mikey is doing with the Utoniums now?" Donnie wondered.

At that very moment, Mikey and the Utoniums were getting ready for bed.

"The Guest room is so big!" Mikey gasped in amazement.

Blossom and Bubbles could only giggle, while the Professor looked amused and Buttercup just secretly rolled her eyes.

"Yes, it is. Isn't it?" Professor Utonium stated before he added "Now remember if you need anything, feel free to head up to my room and give me a knock."

"Thank again." Mikey replied as he nodded.

"No problem." Blossom answered as she and the rest of her family added "Good night Mikey."

"Sweet dreams." Bubbles piped up before she, Blossom and Buttercup flew upstairs.

"Sweet dreams to you too dudette." Mikey called out after her.

"Good night Mikey." The Professor added as he closed the guest room door.

"Good night Professor." Mikey replied as the door closed.

Unsure of what to do, Mikey just lad in bed, thinking about his family.

I wonder if they're sleeping right now.
Mikey thought to himself as his eyes began to drop shut and drifted off to a peaceful sleep.

I'm sorry I couldn't resist having Mikey do a name drop.
