Liliya navigated her way through the dark hallways of the castle, careful not to be spotted by any of the teachers or prefects doing their rounds. After taking a few flight of stairs from the dungeons she finally made it to the chamber door. She stood there for a few minutes contemplating whether to even knock or not, but thinking about what Bellatrix said she decided for her own well being that she should in fact knock.

Liliya lightly knocked on the office door only to have it be opened seconds after. Bellatrix stared down at the timid girl before her with a devilish smirk on her face; as she opened the door she reached through and grab the girl's wrist tightly as she pulled her through the opening.

Bellatrix closed and locked her door before turning around to see Liliya standing awkwardly in the middle of the room, absent-mindedly picking at the skin around her nails. She begins to circle the girl like a vulture circling its prey, moving in closer and closer until they are face to face. Bellatrix snickered as she observed the ends of the girl's hair turning white again, such a timid little creature, she thought to herself with a light chuckle.

"Why am I here?" Liliya asked bluntly.

"I figured you might want to see this before it's published in the Prophet come morning," Bellatrix says bluntly as she faces the girl and hands her a memo.

All muggle borns are to be collected and presented to the ministry this coming week, following this they are to be auctioned to the highest bidder. Anyone attempting to harbor said muggle born will be dealt with accordingly by the Minister, Lord Voldemort.

Liliya read the words and felt herself become weak. She stared at the paper unable to fully comprehend the words as her vision now became blurry, tears falling from her eyes. She feels a hand brush against hers as Bellatrix retrieves the paper from the young girl's tight grasp.

"Th-this can't be right …" Liliya muttered softly, finally raising her eyes to meet the gaze of her professor.

"It is pixie," Bellatrix says sternly but soft.

Bellatrix notices the girl growing paler by the second and catches her as the slytherin's legs give out beneath her. The dark woman hoists her to the nearby couch and holds her tightly in her slim arms as the girl sobs.

"We'll take care of it … Narcissa surely won't let anything happen to you," she cooes reassuringly, "You'll be mine …"

The last part was barely a whisper and Liliya wasn't even sure she heard the woman right. She broke from the firm hold and looked the woman in the eyes, those black eyes twinkling with conspiracy and lust. Liliya shakes her head nervously as she moves further down the couch to put space between them.

"Why?" She whispers out in confusion and fear.

Bellatrix leans forward on her hands so that their faces are only inches apart.

"Because my pixie, I get what I want …" she whispers threateningly.

Liliya's breathing starts becoming shallow as she gets up and races from the room, back out into to the stone hallway and running as fast and as far as she could. When she reached a desolate part of the castle she slid down against the wall and let out a gut wrenching sob as she buried her face into her hands. Against the cold stone of this once happy castle she cried herself to sleep.

That next morning she was on autopilot, navigating the halls in a zombie like fashion. When she reached the main halls of the castle she began to pass the early rising students that were on the way to the Great Hall for breakfast; she could feel their eyes boring into her, heard the faint whispers as she walked past. Liliya finally made it to the Great Hall and took a seat at the end of the Slytherin table, she sat as still as the statues that lined these hollow halls. She was pulled from her fog when she heard Draco and Kate shouting at her.

"Liliya!" Draco shouted as he shook her lightly, "Oh Lil we just saw the Prophet, we won't let anything happen to you. We promise!"

"Yeah, I already owled my parents and they said they will bid for you at the auction! They wont let anyone take you!" Kate exclaimed what she thought was reassuring.

Bid. Auction. I'm to be sold like a piece of property. Liliya thought distantly, Professor LeStrange's words ringing in the back of her mind, You will be mine …

"Yeah, and you know mum will be there too … she won't let anyone out bid her!" Draco exclaimed as he sat down beside her, "It's going to be okay."

As she looked to Draco with tears stinging her eyes she hears an owl enter the hall, she looks up to see the black bird drop a letter in front of her. She looks at the name carelessly written across the top as an after thought. Mother. Liliya opens the letter with shaking hands.

Good riddance.

Nothing else. No signature, no take care. But honestly what did she expect. She instantly dropped the letter and pulled out her wand. Before either Kate or Draco could grab the parchment she lit the paper on fire, eyes wide and pupils dilated black as she watched it burn. There is suddenly a large hand on her shoulder, she turns to see Professor Snape with sad eyes.

"Miss Blackwell … you need to come with me …" he says softly as she begins to stand.

Liliya follows him as she hears the protests from her following friends. Their words become buzzing background noise as she passes more staring eyes to the Headmaster's office. The Slytherin didn't even realize she was siting in the office until Snape spoke to her again.

"I'm sure you've seen the paper by now …" he drawls as she nods, "You will be handed over …"

She flinches when he says that. Snape sighs as he pinches the bridge of his nose.

"Miss Blackwell, there is no way around this unfortunately," he tries to offer kindly, "You will be staying at the ministry until the auction come Monday."

Liliya nods as she stares at her lap, tears falling onto her tightly folded hands.

"I understand," she says with a sob.

Except that she doesn't understand. She's not a muggle born, but because of her spiteful mother she is put in this situation.

Liliya didn't dare look up as they led her onto the platform next to the man over seeing this whole ridiculous affair. She could hear people murmuring around her, obviously they knew who she was or they at least know of her mother. The girl tunes out the man as he sets the starting price, she can't help but let out a bitter scoff under her breath. She listened as the man called out to bidders, thanking them for their participation.

Finally she looks up, gazing at the wide room around her and taking in the many faces of the people raising their card to indicate their bid. One man caught her attention as he repeatedly lifted his card after every counter bid; he looked at her as he licked his lips slowly and observed her developing body. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she forced herself to look away. She found Narcissa standing in the middle of the crowd looking frustrated at the man in the front.

Then the former Slytherin spots her, Bellatrix LeStrange, standing a few paces back behind her sister. The dark woman smirks and winks as she yells a bid way higher then that vile man. Liliya watches as the man crosses his arms and groans at being out bid, but then its over. The announcer declares her sold. She is escorted off the stage and over to where Narcissa is waiting with Draco and her sister.

"Oh Liliya, dear!" Narcissa exclaims as she wraps her in a tight embrace, "I thought that man would never let up!"

Liliya's eyes lock with that of black obsidian as she hugs Narcissa back.

"We will have what ever your mother is willing to give up delivered to the manor-"

But before she can continue Bellatrix clears her throat in interruption as she finally steps forward, grabbing tightly onto the girl's wrist and pulling her closer.

"I do believe that I am the one who has purchased our dear pixie," Bellatrix says sternly, almost daring her sister to challenge her, " She will come with me. In my home and under my care."

"Bellatrix, honestly, you can't be-"

"She's mine!" Bellatrix exclaims as she wraps an arm tightly around Lilya's shoulder, "She will be coming with me!"

Liliya looks to both Draco and Narcissa pleadingly, but the both just look on confused by the outcome.

"Come, pet" Bellatrix commands as she grabs Liliya by the back of the neck to lead her away, "Narcissa, dear, have her things delivered to my home," She says with fake innocence and a sickly sweet smile.

Narcissa and Draco stand there completely gobsmacked as they watch Bellatrix roughly lead Liliya away and too the numerous fireplaces to travel by floo. Stepping in they are engulfed y the familiar green flames and step out into LeStrange Manor.

"Welcome home pixie," Bellatrix says in a soft tone.

Liliya gulps nervously, What just happened.
