Clay waited for his girlfriend, Christine, by the train station as they were planning to travel to Santa Barbara. He has his ring ready to propose to her, but he has no plans to do this for the day.

"Hey," Christine's voice called.

Upon seeing her, the two share a hug.

"Oh, hey. I'm so glad you're here. There are so many things I want to tell you," Clay started as they let go of the hug.

"Wait, wait, wait," Christine cuts him off and she has her smile. "There's something I want to say while I have it straight in my head."

"Okay, go ahead."

"You never stopped believing in me. Thank you for that," Christine looks honest and serious to start her confession. "And there's something else, something that I couldn't admit to before. I could have given Mrs. Ganush another extension on her loan, but I didn't. It was my decision, and it was wrong of me."

She is glad that the curse the gypsy is broken and put it behind her.

After a few seconds of thinking it over, Clay puts his hands to her head and gives a kiss to her lips.

"You've such a good heart. You're so beautiful right now," he complimented.

"Do you like my new coat?" Christine asked with a smile, showing her new blue coat to her boyfriend.

"I do. I really do," Clay answered. "What happened to the old one?"

"I threw it out, and I never want to see it again."

Clay smiled at this. In fact, he knew she is going to do something like this.

"Christine," he said. "There is something I got to tell you."

It was then he pulled a white envelope, which frightened Christine fearing it's the cursed button in it.

"I know it's the button you owned and it's cursed," Clay confessed. "I may be a skeptic, but I talked to Rham about it. He told me everything about you having the Lamia's curse and that you used the method to get rid of the Lamia's curse by transferring it to someone else. He also told me about what happened at the seance. Last night, the button, which where the curse is on, was on my car. I tried to look for suitable people who could be dragged off to Hell. First, I tried my own mother, but I didn't. I love her too much, so I tried on Mrs. Ganush's granddaughter from her papers, but it's just too much. Therefore, I decided to do it on myself."

"You what?" his girlfriend looks frightened by this decision he made.

"You heard me, Chris," Clay admitted while still holding the envelope with the button in it. "I'm going to sacrifice my life for you. I'm sorry."

"No, Clay! Please!" Christine runs up to him for a hug and started to cry. "Don't go to Hell! Please, I need you!"

As he looks at her, he touches her tear.

"You know, all of us human beings cry, and I want to share my last moment with you," he stated as he returns the hug. Christine backs away from him. "Goodbye, Chris. I love you."

"I love you, too, Clay," Christine returns the statement.

Just then, the floor around Clay started to break, and black, ugly hands grabbed him in Christine's place. It is his moment to be dragged into Hell in her place. Unlike the previous victims, he accepted his fate and didn't struggle for help. All Christine can do is watch this and can't do anything to help. As Clay's face dessicated from the burning fire in Hell, the last gesture he gave her is a thumbs-up before the Lamia drags him to Hell, and the floor pulled itself together.

Christine walked to the spot and kneels down with tears of sadness on her face once again.

"Thank you, Clay."
