Author's Note: So this is just a little something that popped up in my head, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

"I never miss a shot," stated an adamant Clint Barton.

Natasha of course backed him up, but the others weren't as certain. They immediately demanded that they be allowed to test his skills- well, Stark demanded, the others asked politely. So Barton was tested and he, of course, didn't miss a shot. Which is probably why the whole team was so surprised on that all of a sudden, not so average Tuesday.

A few days prior, Clint's eyes had been watery and pinkish so after a few days of furious blinking, Steve sent him to one of the many eye doctors in New York City, with Natasha as an escort. While Barton and Widow were out the remaining Avengers decided to play poker. Bruce won most of the rounds.

Many games later, a voice that was distinctly Hawkeye's called,"Hey Tony, you think you could make me some cool looking goggles with this prescription?"

All the Avengers turned to see Clint squinting at a small slip of paper and holding a pair of glasses. For about five seconds, there was absolute silence as the other Avengers stared at the glasses, Natasha smirking in the corner.

"Why do you need glasses?" questioned Tony suspiciously.

The others echoed him. Natasha was still smirking.

"What are you talking about?" asked Clint, confused,"I've had glasses since I was twelve."

"Then how is it that thou aim is always true?" boomed an even more confused Thor.

"Wha- Oh, gosh you guys didn't know?" Clint said, staring at them intently,"It's on my S.H.I.E.L.D. file."

Tony took out his cell. Natasha continued to smirk.

Captain America paused as Tony hacked S.H.I.E.L.D. and then the answer dawned on him, "You're far-sighted?"

"Yup," confirmed Clint as he joined Natasha in smirking,"but I can't very well fight in my glasses so I usually wear contacts." Here Clint glared at the slip of paper in his hand. "But apparently the contacts were affecting my eyes so I need to 'take a break' and wear glasses. I was wondering if Tony could just make me goggles or," he glanced at the nerdy looking glasses in his other hand,"maybe cooler frames?"

Tony looked from his phone where he had been staring at Clint's file, "Yeah sure," he snatched the paper and glasses from Clint and headed to his lab muttering.

Steve, Thor, and Banner glanced at the two smirking assassins somewhat indifferently and went back to their game. Clint and Natasha chuckled.

So, on that Tuesday, the Avengers learned that their teammate, who never missed a shot, couldn't read without glasses. The whole thing was really rather amusing actually.

Author's Note: Well? What did you think? Please take the time to review as this is my first fanfiction and I'd like to know what I need to work on. :)
