So let me stay

Nico looked down at the camp from his tree. His dark eyes watched that of Percy and Annabeth smiling at each other, holding hands. He had made a choice. And he had already followed through with it. He had told Percy how he felt, then left to return to Will's side. But still the decision came with it's consequences. He may have chosen Will, but that couldn't replace the years of love he had held for Percy.

So he sat in his tree, on the brink of wanting to leave once again, and watched. With the breeze flowing softly, he could barely hear Annabeth's light giggles at 'her' Percy's joke.

"Watching them won't make you feel better." Will's warm voice came from below. His back against the tree, tanned face looking in the same direction that Nico's had nice been in. "I'd imagine that it only makes it hurt more."

"How would you know, Solace?" Nico scoffed at him, bring his eyes back to the lovey couple.

The blonde laughed at him as he looked up. "You think that you're the only one who has ever had an unrequited love?"

"O-of course not!" Nico blushed with embarrassment. He had never though that the blonde would have ever been in that kind of situation.

"I haven't."

"What?"

"I have never had someone that I wanted that belonged to another."

"Oh." Nico said, sounding somewhat disappointed.

"You see, the person I want likes to push everyone away. And even though that person's heart might belong to another right now, it doesn't mean I can't steal it away. Besides, that person isn't in a relationship, he already ruined that chance." Will smirked, letting his blue eyes follow Percy.

"Maybe you should tell that person that you would stay by him. That you'll be so much better than the other person that they like." Nico almost laughed at himself. Like he should be giving love advice. He was hounded by Cupid until he was forced to admit his own deep dark secret to a person he didn't really trust at the time.

"Hmm." Will mused.

The blonde could help but to let out a chuckle, as did Nico, as Annabeth pushed Percy away from her. The brunette went flying back into the pond with a loud splash that drew no attention to them, surprisingly. As the demigod resurfaced, he splashed his girlfriend, drenching her pants until it looked like she had been the one to fall in the pond. Percy's light laughter made Nico smile sadly. That sadness that he tried to hide didn't escape Will's prying eyes.

"Ya know," Will cleared his voice with a small grunt. "I want what they have?"

"To be drenched from the waist down?" Nico still mused a about that. The perks of having the son of Poseidon as a boyfriend.

"The laughter, the looks, the hand holding."

"Well you have someone you like right? I already told you what I think."

"Will you let me?"

"Let you what?" Nico drew his eyes away from the past, from Percy, to look down at the sun kissed blonde.

"Will you let me stay by you? I promise I can be much better than him."

Short...but... I write longer the more time I write for the fandom. And I don't really know much about this pair. I kinda support Pico.

Disclaimer- Ja, I don't own.
