The one and only Bill Cipher stood, looking rather dumbfounded for probably the first time in his life. Dipper had a similar look, but it was toward the demon.

"Bill, it's just a trampoline."

There was another session of silence and Bill stared down at his Pine Tree. He'd never seen, let alone heard, of a trampoline before. Ruining the lives of people didn't exactly bring him in contact with these sorts of things.

"Here, come on," Dipper took the blonde's hand and pulled him closer, motioning to the object in question, "It's not dangerous, I promise."

"Pine Tree, please. I know it's not dangerous. It's weird. What does it even do?"

"I'll show you."

Dipper climbed up onto the trampoline and crawled to the middle. He got to his feet and started jumping. The brunette gave the other the look of 'it's really not a big deal.' At the almost horrified stare that he got back Dipper began laughing. It didn't matter to him if Bill wasn't going to jump with him. He knew how to have a good time on his own. Dipper took his time gaining a bit of height, spinning, and making the simplest of movements. The kid wasn't any kind of athlete after all.

Bill clicked his tongue when he knew Dipper wasn't paying attention to him any longer. To be placed under an inanimate object was ridiculous. He really didn't like giant circle thing, whatever it was called. When Dipper said he had something to show him, Bill was expecting something a little more captivating. He eyed it again and huffed. Maybe if he just tried it for a little bit Dipper and him could go somewhere else.

"I guess I could try it. I mean it's not like it's a big deal or anything."

Dipper slowed his movements, wobbling as he stopped completely, "Get up here, then."

Bill gave one more look of disgust and climbed up onto the bouncy material. Dipper held out his hands for the other which Bill took immediately. He reasoned with himself that time together with the boy was quality time regardless of what they were doing.

"All you do is jump. No reason to act like you have a stick up your butt," Dipper gave the demon a smile and made small jumps to encourage the other. He made sure to keep a hold of Bill's hands as well.

The dip and rise from where he stood simply bothered Bill, but he pushed himself to give it a shot. His hops were halfhearted to say the least, but the longer he continued, the more enjoying he found the experience. There was a lightness in his chest when was in the air. Sure, he was used to floating around and generally just staying in the air when he was a glowing dorito, but this was so much different. There was never anything that brought him back to the ground before. He cracked a smile, finding no problems when Dipper let go of his hands. Bill jumped with the boy, laughing when they'd occasionally bump into each other or fall back to their bottoms only to be back on their feet after a bounce or two.

Dipper was just glad that the demon was finally enjoying himself. He was, admittedly, worried that Bill was just going to leave after Dipper first climbed up. Seeing the other smile made him feel giddy. There weren't many times where Bill had a smile like that. No motive behind it. No smug undertone. He was genuinely enjoying himself, and so was Dipper.
