I promised someone I would update today so here it is. sorry for taking forever, I have no excuse.

Johnny's face looked malicious as his shadow gained on the helpless humans, the Goth chick's laser not doing enough damage to slow the spirit down. It was the one time that the phantom kid couldn't kick his ass, for one Johnny was on his own lair and every ghost was extremely protective about it and for two for some reason the ghost kid didn't want to reveal he was half-dead to his classmates. The kid was even too far away for him to be any help to the humans. Right as shadow reached the first of the defenseless class and eerie scream echoed from around the space, shadow paused to look as where the scream might be coming from but no one had moved an inch from when they had shown up.

The screaming turned into an inhuman and in-ghostly sounding growl and the next thing the class or shadow and Johnny knew their vision went black.

Sam was the first to wake from her forced sleep and what she saw immediately set her on edge. In front of her was a kitchen table, it looked to be a normal table except that Danny was strapped to it. All around her she and her classmates were chained to the wall or a chair or some other object, all facing the table which was beginning to look more and more like a sacrificial alter. One by one each person in class woke and struggled against their restraints, but one by one they found that they were human proof.

The last to wake was Danny, he woke with a groan and as his eyes focused on the ceiling above him he groaned louder.

"It aint a picnic for us either twerp" Johnny said they had to misfortune to be put in a glass dome near the stovetop, of course that was ghost proof so neither he nor shadow could get out.

"How long have we been asleep?"

"Asleep?" Dash yelled "we were knocked out, Fenturd! If we didn't follow you we wouldn't be in this mess now. And we wouldn't have been attacked by that freak either!" the class agreed with Dash raising complaints and panicking again when they tried to futilely break from their bonds.

"It's all your fault Fenton. If it wasn't for you or your freaky family ghosts wouldn't be attacking the most popular people and just stick to you losers." Paulina cried.

"The ghosts probably wouldn't even be in our world at all!" Mikey said. More and more voices rose up but Danny's expression didn't change. When there was finally a lull in the angry voices he just turned his head to, surprisingly, Johnny and asked again. "How. Long. Have. We. Been. Asleep?" though his voice was soft it sounded more menacing than anyone could believe Danny could ever be. Johnny sighed deeply and leaned closer to the glass dome.

"About 4 hours, you're in trouble dude."

"And no one will be leaving me." A voice said as she entered the kitchen. The ghost wasn't one that visited Amity Park; she was an old looking granny with her hair tied in a tight bun at the back of her head and kind looking eyes that smiled at them over a row of sharp looking teeth.

"Granny here has been lonely for decades and now she finally has her hands on some company." She said. Johnny paled as he finally saw her, his shadow flattening out so it acted like a real shadow instead of his luck.

"Mrs. Keenly." He said politely. He started sweating when she turned her head to him.

"Ah, if it isn't Johnny-boy. The disrespectful brat that rides him motorcycle over my garden, lovely to see you dear." She said her mouth opening wider to show that she had the mouth much like a shark, rows of sharp teeth gleaming with saliva. "I will deal with you later."

Johnny mumbled something about her garden being on his road path but shut his mouth when she snapped at him. She turned to the group and brightened up a bit at her captive company.

"Oh, dear. Where are my manners? I am Mrs. Keenly, but you little dearies can call me granny. After all we are going to be getting to know each other very well soon enough." She hobbled to the table and looked down at Danny.

"You, my dear are far too skinny. We need to fatten you up or else you won't grow big and strong."

"Ha! Puny Fenton strong? Never." Dash said, feeling like for once they were going to be okay. I mean what harm could a granny do? Granny snapped her head around and growled at Dash, the very same growl that they heard before they passed out.

"Well deary, seems like your first meal just volunteered. I better get started." She grabbed a knife from the counter and slowly approached Dash, whose smile disappeared.

"Wait, meal?" he squeaked. Danny was thrashing on the table but his bonds were human and ghost proof, seem "granny" heard about him. The knife was at Dash's throat when granny suddenly looked at her hands.

"Oh dear! You still have grim and dirt on you from outside. I need to clean you all up first, be right back dearies!" Granny sang as she walked out a door near the fridge.

"Oi, Fenton. What did she mean "first meal"?" Dash asked his voice trembling. Danny sighed and quit his struggling.

"Remember that story Hansel and Gretel?" the class nodded, for some reason lancer thought it would be a great object lesson to bring meat pies to the class and then tell the story. "Hansel and Gretel were lost in the woods when they came upon a house with a witch; the witch captured them but Gretel escaped. The witch tried to fatten Hansel up by feeding the boy lots of food. Hansel tricked her by giving her a chicken bone to feel when she checked how fat he had gotten since the witch was nearly blind. Eventually the witch figured out what was happening so she opened his cage to cook him and that was when Gretel and Hansel defeated her right?" again the class nodded.

"Do you remember how they defeated the witch?" Danny asked.

No one answered, at that point in the lesson the class learned how gross the meat pies were and had used them for projectiles. "They burned her in her own oven." Sam said and paled a little bit more.

"and what do you think happened?" Danny asked, calm as ever.

"she died." Tucker said "and she came to the ghost zone."

"I don't wanna die!" Dash screamed.

"It isn't going to be a picnic for me either," Danny said "she wants to feed you to me, so she can fatten me up and eventually eat me too." A few people in the class started to gag and Lester ever threw up a bit in his mouth.

"But that's cannibalism!" he said

"And she's a ghost witch, your point?" Danny snapped. He started struggling again; it was silent in the kitchen until something loud snapped.

"Danny, what did you do?" Sam asked.

"Hopefully something I can pull off twice." He said though his voice sounded tight and angry. He wiggled again and another snap sounded accompanied by a small groan. Johnny turned away, being the only one who could actually see, up close, what Danny did.

"Danny what—"but she was cut off as granny came back into the house with a hose.

"Now dearies, the more I thought about it the more I noticed how dirty all of you are. I can't be giving my darling indigestion, so I am going to clean you all up now!" with that she flipped on the hose and sprayed the entire room, though it wasn't like being sprayed by a garden hose, it felt more like being hit with a fire hose. The water beat into everyone, soaking them in seconds and giving pretty bad bruises to any exposed skin. When she was finally done she dropped the hose and picked up another knife on her way to Dash.

"No! I don't wanna die!" he was crying as the knife neared his neck again. The people around him all looked away, hopefully to shield themselves from the sight of a dying classmate. Even if that classmate was a bully, Granny's malicious smile grew as her blade pressed down and drew blood… but not from the meat sack's neck. A confused grumble echoed from her chest as her gaze found the tip of a knife protruding from her stomach.

She dropped the knife in her hands and turned. Danny was standing in front of her with a knife held awkwardly in his broken hands, he was also dripping wet and his eyes were cold as ice. "But darling?" she asked. "What have the humans done to gain your approval?"

"Well for one, they haven't chained me to a table." He answered

"Yet." She snarled and swiped her clawed hand at him. He was still in pain from the river test so his shoulder was sliced open when he tried to stumble out of the way. Danny managed to quickly dodge her follow-up swipe and kicked the table into her already injured midsection, Mrs. Keenly coughed blood but it did not sway her from her prey.

Danny and the witch fought around the kitchen, throwing knives and slipping over the wet ground. Eventually Danny got in a lucky punch and the witch was knocked out against the sink. The class cheered until a small growl echoed from Danny's chest, he turned to the class and shocked them all with his vibrant green glare. The temperature dropped until the water on the ground froze and the students started shivering.

"I think that is enough." Johnny said. He knocked Danny over the back of his head and caught him when he fell.

"Johnny? How?" Sam asked.

"I don't think you understand how bad luck works. As long as Danny couldn't get out that old bag had all the luck, as soon as he broke his first thumb the luck shifted and shadow broke out of the glass dome to set me free. It was almost dangerous though when Danny almost lost it, the luck could have switched again if I didn't knock him out." He flicked his wrist and shadow touched every binding, breaking it easily.

"It's really getting bad isn't it?" Tucker asked.

"Yeah, you guys need to see Pandora. She has some human influence so she can help. My lair is too far for him now."

"Uh, I don't understand. First you are trying to kill us, now you're trying to help us. Why?" Star asked trembling. She was hiding behind Paulina who was hiding behind Kwan because Dash was still a terrified mess on the floor.

"That was different." Johnny said "You were in my lair un-invited; I had every right to kill you guys. But Danny also saved me when he defeated the old hag, thus my debt is to help him and who he protects."

"But why is Danny so good at fighting?" Megan asked

"That is for himself to answer." A powerful voice answered, filling the room. Sam and Tucker smiled and ran toward the new ghost that had just arrived, one that looked angry and could kill them any second.

"PANDORA!" they yelled. "but how?" Tucker asked

"Johnny's shadow has many uses" Pandora answered cryptically. "Come students we shall go to my lair and in the morrow send you home." She gently picked up their passed out classmate and lead the others outside to her chariot which was gigantic.

"How can we trust you?" someone asked in the group.

"Because she can help."
