Rose was sitting in the Head's Common Room in front of the fire with a book in her hands, failing to notice that Scorpius was observing her all this time.

Suddenly, the book was snatched out of her hands by a smirking Malfoy.

"Hand the book back, Malfoy."

"Not gonna happen, Weasley. You have been ignoring me all day."

And before Rose could reply he pulled her off the armchair and into his arms. The book fell to the floor with a thump but neither of them noticed. They were lost in each other's eyes and hadn't even noticed that they were leaning closer, until their lips touched. Neither pulled back, both trying to show how they really felt into the kiss, trying to break traditions and prejudices.

When they finally pulled back it was impossible to stop the grins that broke on their faces. Their foreheads touched and Rose could not believe that defying her father meant gaining much more. She might have lost her family's trust but she was certainly proud for being a Slytherin, even more, she was proud she had fallen for a Malfoy.

What she didn't know that Scorpius was thinking the same things for her.
