Chapter 3

Jacob POV

I woke up to see that I was in my room, last remember I was in the clearing with the pack and with my imprint. My imprint. Edward. I looked around my room like I'd find him to be somewhere in here. When I saw he wasn't there I felt so empty. I felt a sharp pain in my chest that was agonizing.I whimpered and moaned in pain. I was nearly howling.

My bedroom's door was swung the door was Bella ,Sam and my pain was getting worse and I want to phase to go find my imprint.

"What's wrong with him?"asked my dad.

"He misses his imprint," answered Bella " Isn't it that what it is Jake?"

~Yes. I want my imprint, please take me to my imprint~ I said.

~ Who is it, who is your imprint Jake~she exclaimed

~Edward, I want Edward.~ I moaned.

She looked shocked as she said ~Ok. Can I tell them?~she looked back at Sam and my dad. I nodded.

"He imprinted on Edward Cullen" she told looked shocked at the news.

"That has never happened before,a wolf to imprint on a vampire."said my dad

"What do we do now?"asked Sam.

~Go look for my imprint that is,with or without you or your help~I said as i got off my bed.

"Wait Jacob, you can't leave yet."Bella said

"Why not." I countered. Finally getting out of my delirious state and being able to speak in English.

"You're still weak, you can't phase in this condition."she said

"I don't have to phase to go look for my imprint."I say evenly. I put on my shoes, they just look at me while I do this." I'm going for a walk." I walk over to the window and open it and backup.

"Jacob Black don't you dare jump out that window or I will-"I did let my dad finish and I jumped out the window.

When I landed I yelled, "I'll be back later don't worry."and started jogging off into the forest. I honestly was not looking for my Edward-Wait what my Edward? I still must be delusional. Whatever any way I really just needed time to think. And then I would go looking for my imprint. My wolf was impatient but so was I. For once I wanted what my wolf wanted.

I was not looking where I was going and my reflects were still fuzzy so I didn't see the change of ground level under me. I fell . Or so I thought. I was caught by something or more like someone that was cold.I shivered,even though their cold temperature was pleasant against my feverish skin.

I had to admit I was nervous but I gathered all my courage and looked up to meet a pair of golden eyes that could only belong to-" Edward" I breathe

"Jacob" he says with a crooked smile. He is still holding me up with one hand the other comes up to my face and caress my cheek .I close my eyes as he does this it feels so good. I liked it because it cooled my heated reminds me of the days before I was a shifter and heat and cold were different to me.

I open my eyes and I see beautiful golden eyes looking back at me.A sudden dizzy spell hits me and I gasp and grab hold of Edward's arm.

"What's wrong?"he asks as worry swims through his eyes.

I didn't want to worry him so I answered,"Nothing, it passed already."But after I said that another,stronger dizzy spell hit me.

"Edward "I gasped before everything went black.

Edward POV

After a while I calmed down and looked up at my gave me a smile and I returned a small one.

"How are you feeling honey?" she asked as she rubbed my back.

"I'm doing better."I was true,I was feeling better but I was there, yet.l was still worried about ,I couldn't get him out of my mind.

"What's wrong?" asked Esme with worried eyes.I must have sighed while thinking of Jacob.

"Oh nothing,I think I will go on a will make me feel much better than I already am."I said as I left her embrace.

"Oh ok,just be careful."she said and I got off my couch and walked to the window.

"Ok"I said before I jumped out the window.

I started to walked aimlessly into the I saw . He was about to fall and it looked like he was not paying attention to where he was going.I ran toward him and caught by his arm. good… ran through his eat was pleasant as made me warm. A way I hadn't felt in decades.

He still was staring then slowly looked up to meet my eyes."Edward"he breathed."And I melted."Jacob"I answered with a smirk on my face.I took my hand and caressed his closed his eyes and unconsciously seem to nuzzle his cheek into my hand.

He opened his eyes and he suddenly gasped and grasped my arm as though to steady was worry gnawing at my was wrong? So I voiced my thoughts.

"What's wrong?"I asked

He quickly answered,"Nothing,it passed"just as he finished saying that he gasped my name swayed and his knees buckled,I caught him before he fell.

I was so in panic mode. I was scared there was something wrong.I literally stared at him in my until the reasonable part of my brain started to respond.

"You have a family member that a doctor,duh."which sadly also happen to be a little smug and sarcastic.

I picked Jacob up and the ran towards my house. "Hold on, Jacob."I whispered

"Carlisle" I yelled as I reached the clearing of my was already waiting for me in front of the was in front of the rest of my family.

"What are you doing with that-that mongrole?"Rosalie screeched while she pointed at the unconsious Jacob in my arms.I growled at dare she insult Jacob.

He stepped forward,"What's wrong son?"He put a hand a on my shoulder and looked at an unconscious Jacob.

"I don't know he gasped twice then passed out,"I told him

"Here,take him to my medical room so I can check his vitals."Carlisle said

I took him to the medical room and placed him on the bed as gently as I could.I stood next to him,grabbed his hand and held it as

Carlisle walked into the room.

"Ok, lets see why he passed out."stated Carlisle as he started looking over Jacob.

"What's wrong with him?"asked Carlisle after a while

"He seems to be suffering of severe exhaustion,"he replied"He just need rest and should wake after couple of hours."

"Great."I answered with a sigh of relief.

"Edward,"Carlisle called-I looked up at him-" I will leave alone with him but you know we will be talking about this later."I nodded and he left the room.

I looked back down at Jacob,whose hand I was still holding,and whispered,"Can't wait for you to walk up and let me see for myself that you are ok." I smiled at him and even thought I saw his own lips curl.
