After Harry had spun the time turner and watched as the stars zipped by in reverse he turned back to the two Solo children inside the cockpit. "So you can really see Aayla Secura?" He asked as Aayla stood off to the side, interested in what the three of them could come up with.

"If you mean the blue and gray Twilek, then yes, we can see Aayla Secura," Anakin answered. "Why does that name sound familiar by the way?"

"She was a general in the Clone Wars and wielded two lightsabers instead of the usual one. Obviously, she died obviously which is why I was so surprised to learn that you could actually see her. I'm not entirely positive about why I was able to see her where she died, but I think it has something to do with my magic. Where I come from, ghosts are rather common or at least common at larger concentrations of magic, so magic must resonate with the imprints of souls."

"That is the prevailing theory at least," Aayla spoke up, reminding the two Solo children that she was here. "I did not join the force until after my body decomposed so I was not expecting to reach consciousness within until much later, perhaps centuries. When Harry arrived at the location of my murder I felt a tug that reminded me of someone ripping the blanket off of me in the morning and dragging me off the bed. There was little time between my unaware state and being fully aware. I believe we both freaked out quite interestingly."

"Oh?" Jaina asked with a smile, eager to hear about an embarrassing story from Harry. After all, when starting over in a new place you did not share embarrassing stories. Unfortunately, Jaina had an extended family that would gladly share what they could to turn her into an interesting shade of red. Anakin would take a particularly perverse pleasure in sharing her embarrassing stories.

"Yes, what did you do again Harry? I believe you jumped back and apparated while banishing a number of charms my direction," Aayla teased he friend.

"So says the woman that seemed to think she still had her lightsaber and tried to attack me. I believe one of your more memorable lines was, 'I need a new belt so stay still!'"

"Not my best moment," She admitted sheepishly while the Solo children laughed in the background. It wasn't often that you heard of an elder knight react in such a way and they could just see Harry reacting with a multitude of spells.

"But I don't understand, I know we shouldn't have seen her before you interacted with her, but since she has a consciousness in the Force wouldn't we be able to see her if she manifested herself?" Jaina pointed out.

"Normally yes," Aayla answered, "But this is a weird case. Since I've interacted with Harry I'm not a Force ghost as you would normally think of. For one, you aren't as connected to the Force as you should be to see me. There are very few in the galaxy that should be able to see me actually. Also, I am not fully in the Force anymore. I still have the connection, but I cannot return to the fold fully. I believe I am closer to Harry's type of ghosts that anything as I also have a grey coloration to my appearance."

As Aayla said this, Anakin and Jaina realized just how different this ghost was from their uncle's story. Not only was she gray, but there were a few injuries visible. When Darth Vader joined the Force, his ghost was devoid of the injuries that had once made him a Sith Lord according to Luke. "So what does this mean?" Anakin asked.

"We're not sure," Harry shrugged. "There really hasn't been a good time to bring it up to Uncle Luke since he's currently struggling with whether or not he should reform the Order. He needs to decide that for himself and not rely on a fabled knight of the Old Order."

"I'm hoping that if this new species doesn't totally screw up the galaxy I could perhaps be a teacher at the New Jedi Temple. I never got to take on a Padawan because I was a little more liberal in my interpretation of the Code, so perhaps I can help someone copy my style and finally get a somewhat student." That was one of Aayla's biggest lingering issues from her lifetime as the council had never trusted her after her brush with the Dark Side. Never mind that they seemed to bend over backwards for other knights that had been tempted, she was always the one they watched. Skywalker had been given a Padawan for Force sake!

"Taught by a ghost?" Jaina mused out loud.

"I was," Harry replied as he glanced at the Navicomputer to make sure they were on the right path. "He taught in a really boring monotone, but I doubt Aayla would do that for a few hundred years at least." Aayla went to swipe at the back of Harry's head but simply passed through his head causing him to shiver. "Gah, I hate when you do that!"

"Then stop making fun of your old teachers. You probably didn't pay enough attention to him." The mage and ghost glared at each other, but the two Solo children saw their lips twitching in amusement. Harry and Aayla had spent so much time together in the past few years that they had developed a type of sibling bond, full of teasing and play fights when they traveled through the emptiness of space.

"So, what are we doing right now?" Anakin asked, trying to figure out why Harry had grabbed him. "I know you said something about saving Uncle Chewie, but I don't see how in the world you think you can save him." Jaina also leaned forward to hear Harry's plan. It wasn't that the two Solo children didn't trust Harry, but there was a big challenge in the way.

"What do you two know of time travel?" Harry saw the incredulous expressions on their faces and didn't expect much different. It seemed that as civilizations grew more advanced things that were once dreamed of tended to be pushed aside for reality. They hadn't figured out how to do a certain thing already, so it was deemed impossible and pushed to the elderly scientists for theory based works.

"That's simply not possible!" Jaina denied. Once again she didn't want to not believe in Harry, but no one had ever travelled in time before.

Harry simply smiled and shook his head. "For the average person, yes it would be. However with a device that could possibly be duplicated in this galaxy and a certain substance found on seemingly every world I have visited so far. With my time turner, not the most original name I know, if I was standing still I could travel back a full day in time."

The Solo children looked at Harry in awe at the casual delivery of something that had been thought to be impossible. "You said standing still though," Jaina pointed out.

"Exactly," Harry smiled at Jaina causing her face to flush and heart to flutter like a schoolgirl. "I don't know how much research has been done in the travel you are able to do, but there were a lot of theories from scientist on my world. One of them stated that as you approached the speed of light you were approaching time travel itself. Couple that with time travel and you can go pretty far. I'm not really sure how far you would go to be honest as math isn't my strongest subject and I don't want to experiment in any way, shape, or form with that. All I know is that I can go back far enough to perhaps help out Chewbacca. That's why I asked everybody if they had actually seen the lovable Wookie get crushed or not."

"Wait," Anakin interrupted Harry's explanation, "If we can go far so back in time, can't we go far enough to prevent the moon from crashing in the first place?"

"But you stopped the machine in the first place," Harry pointed out. "Using a time turner doesn't actually change time, but it does give you a second chance at something as long as you don't witness the thing you are trying to prevent."

Seeing that his alive passengers weren't quite getting it, he had explained it to Aayla a while ago, Harry conjured up a piece of string. "Think of time as this piece of string, linear and one dimensional. Now," Harry said as he held the sting in place and conjured a smaller sting, "This is what happens when a time turner is used. Time doesn't change in this instance and eventually we arrive at the same time we left with little having been changed."

"So because no one could say with certainty that Uncle Chewie was obliterated," Jaina had struggled with that one word, "Because the moon actually blocked their view, it's possible to save him?" Her eyes were wide with hope and soon was replicated by Anakin.

"There's a chance," Harry shrugged, trying to keep their hopes tempered with reality. "A slim chance that will take every bit of skill that we have, but there is a chance." Nothing deterred the two in their hope and Harry silently promised to do everything in his power to make this succeed. Giving them hope was one thing, but knowing you had a chance to change something and then failing in that chance was heartbreaking. Honestly, he was suddenly rethinking his choice of companions for this rescue mission, but no one ever accused him of being far thinking. It would have been better if he had grabbed Mara or Luke.

"Alright, we will be dropping out of hyperspeed just as the ships on the ground should be gearing up to lift off. Jaina, you and Anakin will take the controls and keep us out of sight of the Falcon. This also means that we will be quite near to the moon as it descends so we can be close enough for my spell to grab Chewbacca in time. Go ahead and take the seats as the time turner also sends us faster through space and we are about ten minutes out."

"Harry," Jaina spoke up after a five minute pause as all three tried to get into the mindset needed for their mission. Aayla had wandered to another part of the ship as she would be of little help in the next hour or so. "Harry, how likely is it going to be that we actually succeed in this?"

Harry sighed and rand a hand through his hair as he thought about his answer. "There's a chance Jaina, there's always a chance. But, that also means there's a chance that we fail and Chewbacca's time is officially up. We are trying everything in our power, but sometimes Fate is a cruel mistress."

"Oh," Was all Jaina was able to say before turning back to the controls. Both she and Anakin seemed to have a new fire in their eyes and he knew that they wouldn't fail because of their flying at least.

As soon as they dropped out of their fast travel Harry told the two to descend close to the moon and as soon as they were in the atmosphere to open the cargo bay doors. He gave them terse instructions that when the moon was four hundred feet from the ground it did not matter if he had Chewbacca or not, they were getting the hell out of Dodge.

As the doors opened Harry could see the chaos that was still happening on the ground and took a deep breath, gathering all the ambient magic around him in hopes that it would be enough. Harry had gotten a detailed description of the chaos from Anakin's and Han's mind. He didn't like legilemency, but something needed to be done and he would feel better if all of this paid off.

Casting the Accio at the correct time, Harry instantly felt the drain. The charm had never been designed to work on sentient life, but it was doable if you put more power into it. The bigger the life and the farther you summoned from the more power it took and dragging a fully grown Wookie almost a mile in distance was not a walk in the park. Harry was idly aware that Jaina and Anakin yelled at him as they pulled up and the moon was fairly close to touching down, but most of his attention was on the flying mass of fur who had managed to turn around and saw he was moving to safety and the immense drain on his core. He was going to be feeling this in the morning he knew.

Moving at the last second, Harry wasn't crushed by a flying Wookie and managed to fall on the button that closed the doors before collapsing to the ground beside the panting best friend of Han Solo. It was a couple of minutes later that Jaina rushed to the back and cried in happiness at seeing her surrogate Uncle alive and safe with Harry lying right beside him.

"Hey Jaina," Harry smiled tiredly at her as she moved to him. "I'm beat, so before I pass out there's two things. One, we can't leave the planet for another three hours since we can't show up at the asteroid before we leave in the future."

"And two?" Jaina prompted.

"Could someone take me to my bed?" With that Harry succumbed to exhaustion with a smile on his face.

A/N: So, the motivation I had for this story when I first started is very little now which is why it took so long to update. It isn't hard for me to write, I wrote this in only a few hours when I was inspired, but it was getting the inspiration that was the problem. I will try to do better, but I can promise nothing. For those grow fed up with their wait, I understand and thank you for reading as much as you did. For those who continue to read, I thank you. For those who want to try out there hand at writing this story feel free, but make sure to PM and let me know and give credit where credit is due.
