A/N: I thought of a cute ZoRo moment, and I had to write it down! This story will be a little after Robin joins the crew, and Zoro is wary of her.
Disclaimer: I don't own One Piece.
After Nico Robin had wormed her way into the Strawhats' crew with both sweet talk and bribes, she settled down, acting as if she was never their enemy. Zoro refused to accept her as a true nakama, and tried to go out of his way to ignore her, but the woman was persistent. It's like she knew Zoro didn't trust her, and she seemed to enjoy the challenge.
Worming herself into the deepest depths of Zoro's trust was no easy task, but Nico Robin was not one to give up so easily over something so petty.
"Here." Robin simply stated, placing a cup of tea next to Zoro.
It was a daily thing now. Robin would come to give Zoro a cup of tea after he did an intense workout, but of course, Zoro would refuse it each time. The woman didn't seem to mind though, and she placed it next to him anyway and walked away.
"I don't want it." Zoro roughly rejected, and Robin set the cup next to him, softly smiling.
"Tea helps you relax.." Robin explained, a sly grin taking over her soft smile, "And it appears you need it."
She walked away, leaving Zoro to grumble to himself about how annoying she was. Zoro crossed his arms and glared at the cup of tea below him.
"I hate tea." Zoro said to himself, walking away from it as if it were some kind of leper.
Next day
"8,000!" Zoro yelled at the top of his lungs. He was panting heavily after placing his usual set of weights down.
"Good evening, swordsman-san." Robin greeted and placed a cup of tea next to Zoro.
Zoro scowled at her, "I don't like tea."
Robin smiled in return, "It's good for the typical insomniac." she said after gesturing her hand towards him.
Zoro's scowl deepened, but the woman strided away, laughing softly to herself. She was such a troublesome woman...
"Women..." Zoro sighed, pushing the cup of tea away from him.
Next day
Zoro finished another workout, and stretched off the muscle pain he felt in his lower back. Push-ups were pretty hardcore if you did 9,000 of them. After he finished, he sat down, impatiently waiting for something. Well, someone. He wasn't sure why he was waiting, or why he was angry that that woman didn't show up today. But for some reason he refused to acknowledge, he wanted to find out why she wasn't pestering him today.
Zoro searched the ship for someone who knew where that woman was, and eventually, Nami told him that Robin was sick today. Zoro frowned and walked over to the kitchen, retaining his frown. He wasn't sure why he was doing this... But... Why not?
Robin's room
Robin's eyes fluttered open after feeling the horrible urge to sneeze into the nearest tissue. She was taking a nap, but she had woken up so many times, the longest she slept was only ten minutes.
"Hello, Robin-chan." Nami greeted along with a cup of tea in her hands.
Robin's eyes sparkled at the sight of it. It had to be tea, it just had to be. "Hello, navigator-san," Robin greeted back.
"I brought you some tea." Nami said with a sweet smile and placed the teacup in Robin's hands, "Oh, and before you thank me - I didn't make it."
Robin looked interested as she sipped the tea. It tasted pretty good, but a bit too sweet for her taste.
"Zoro made it. I guess he wanted to make you feel better, eh?" Nami guessed with a light shrug. She walked out of the room.
Robin sipped the tea again. This time, she smiled.
