Sora: Hello people! I wonder how long it has been since I've even touched this fanfic. 3 years?

Giotto: It has been since April of 2016.

Sora: Sugoi~ I never knew I could leave something alone for so long.

Giotto: It's not amazing! It's been more than a year and I'm busy waiting to see why Tsunayuki wants me to go to school on a Saturday! And to top it all off, Tsuna is missing!

Tsunayuki: Calm down Giotto. I'm sure your beloved will return soon. Just read the story!

Giotto: Huh? Let me see…

Sora: NO! You can't read it! You're just going to have to wait.

Giotto: Aren't you being unfair?! Just let me see it!

Sora: *tries to hold Giotto back* Tsuna! Help me!

Tsuna: Anyways, as Sora's trying to fight Giotto off, (Sora: Hey! Don't just announce the beginning! Help!) I hope you enjoy the last chapter of Hidden Idol. It's been a few years and lots of anticipation. Thank you for sticking with this story and Sora and all of us hope to see you again sometime soon!

Giotto: Hey, isn't that-

Sora: Anyways, hope you enjoy and I'll see you in my next fic (if I ever write another one).

Also, I must remind you that the Vongola consists of Mukuro, Sasagawa, Yamamoto, Hibari, and Gokudera while the Sky consists of Daemon, Knuckle, Asari, Alaude, G, and Giotto.

8 am, Saturday, at school

'Why did I ever become her manager?' That was the first thought that ran through Reborn's mind while he hauled a speaker up to the roof of Namimori Middle School. "I should have just kept on being an idol," he mumbled under his breath. "Hmm? What was that Reborn?" a smooth, melodic voice asked through his earpiece. Reborn put on smile as he continued walking up the steps. "Nothing," he replied smoothly while inwardly cursing at the idol he was managing. "Great because there's literally only half an hour left before Giotto gets here." Reborn sighed. "And what are we doing this for?" he asked, he himself not knowing what was going on inside the idol's head. "You'll see," was the only reply he got before the line was cut. 'I hope this will be worthwhile because I am never doing this again' he thought to himself as he finally reached the roof and put down the speaker. As soon as Reborn told her that everything was in place, Tsunayuki smirked. 'Let the show begin.'

8:30 am, Is this really happening?

Giotto walked up the steps of the middle school not knowing what to expect. When he looked at the building from the outside it looked normal, but he knew Tsunayuki wouldn't call him here without a reason. "Oh, isn't that Giotto?" a familiar voice asked from behind. Giotto turned around to find his band, the Sky, walking up the steps. "Hey guys. What are you doing here?" Giotto asked. "We came at the request of Reborn," G answered, "but we have no idea why. Anyways, what are you doing here?" Giotto replied, "Tsunayuki asked me to come here after our concert yesterday. She just told me it was her final condition."

"Final condition?"

Giotto realized that they had no idea what he was talking about and just shook his head. "It's nothing." The band looked at him weirdly before they shook it off. Suddenly, a familiar voice came from above. "Hello everyone! Sorry to ask you all to come to school on a weekend, but I thought it would be better if we just got this over with in one sitting." The band looked up but couldn't see anyone. "Oh, I'm speaking to you from the speaker system," Tsunayuki clarified as she watched the band hurriedly look for the source of her voice. "Tsunayuki? Why did you ask us all to come here?" Asari asked, feeling just as confused as the rest of them. "Well, you have all come to play a game," was the cheerful reply. "What?!" everyone shouted, including Reborn who was on the roof watching Tsunayuki speak through a microphone. "Yep!" Tsunayuki happily said as she proceeded to explain the activity she made up. "I have a very big secret to tell all of you, namely one person, but only the first person to get to the roof while singing a duet with me will get a kiss~" The band mebers all sweat dropped at the rules. "Um, do we all have to extremely participate?" Knuckle asked, not wanting to take part in the game or take the prize. "Yep!" was the only reply he received.

They all cried inwardly. The only person who was pumped up about this whole thing was Giotto, who wanted to know Tsunayuki's secret and also let no one get her kiss. 'Argh! What am I talking about?! I literally just broke up with her, I shouldn't want to kiss her! But…she reminds me so much of Tsuna…' Giotto thought, having conflicting emotions. "Well then…let the game begin!" A horn sounded out of nowhere, signaling the start of the game. "Oh, and be careful," Tsunayuki added," After all, there are certain things you might run into~" The band all looked at each other in confusion before proceeding inside the building.

The first thing they saw was an earpiece with a microphone attached to it. "Nufufufufufu. I see. This is how we're going to sing the duet with her," Daemon commented, taking an earpiece and putting it around his ear. Once everyone was set, the music immediately started.

They all listened Tsunayuki's melodic voice, realizing that this wasn't much of a duet but instead backup singing. As they proceeded to the stairs, three figures suddenly jumped out at them. "You shall not be going past us," an alto voice spoke, using the traditional Japanese that was characteristic of Basil. With him were Mukuro and Sasagawa, all seemingly ready fight against the Sky if needed. "Eh? What are you guys doing here?! More importantly, can you let us pass?" Giotto impatiently said. "Unfortunately, Tsunayuki told us to EXTREMELY protect her secret from you guys, so you'll have to EXTREMELY go through us if you want to figure out her secret," Sasagawa said in a threatening manner. Daemon only laughed. "Nufufufufu. See if you can stop us." Knuckle, a bit worried for the safety of not only his bandmate, but also his cousin's, also stepped up. "Don't worry Giotto. You go on ahead with the rest of the band. I'll stay behind and make sure everyone doesn't actually extremely fight," the priest said. "Thanks Knuckle," Giotto said as he ran past the group. "Kufufufufu. Don't think you can get past me. Unlike them, I'm not passive," Mukuro chuckled as he literally lunged at them. "Nufufufufu. You were never be able to beat me when it came to fighting Mukuro. What makes you think you can beat me now?" Daemon smirked as he grabbed Mukuro's outstretched hands and wrestled with his cousin. Basil and Sasagawa just stayed back along with Knuckle, enjoying watching the two wrestle. "I'm beginning to think that none of them actually have the motivation to stop us," G commented as they walked up the stairs onto the second floor.

As if it was none of her business, Tsunayuki continued to sing.

2nd Floor

As Giotto, G, Asari, and Alaude made their way to the opposite side of the hall to reach the stairs, a person jumped out at them. "Herbivore, I'll bite you to death." A very bloodthirsty Hibari jumped out of a classroom, aiming to knock out Giotto before being stopped by Alaude. The two cousins exchanged violent moves before coming to a standstill. "Alaude? What are these fighting moves that I've never seen you do before?" Giotto asked cautiously. "Kyoya and I used to take karate classes before we joined the bands," was all the explanation he got as Hibari made another move and Alaude blocked. "Ok… We're just going to leave this to you and go ahead Alaude," Giotto decided as he slowly inched his way with G and Asari past the two fighting members.

The trio continued down the hall before another person suddenly jumped out at them. "I don't really wanna do this, but I heard that Asari also used to take kendo before joining the Sky," was all an excited Yamamoto said before he threw a bamboo sword at Asari. Giotto looked at Asari strangely. "Am I literally the only one in the band who didn't know about any of the martial arts classes you guys used to take when you were little?" Asari only smiled a little before blocking Yamamoto's sword. "Ok. I give up. See you later Asari," was all Giotto said before he moved on with G.

The two moved down the hall before Giotto suddenly stopped. "Giotto? What's wrong?" G asked. "G… are you also going to suddenly be proficient in some form of martial arts when Gokudera jumps out whenever he does?" Giotto asked blankly. G only smiled. "Well…" As if on cue, Gokudera jumped out with a bow and arrow in hand. "G! I challenge you to an archery match!" Giotto could only facepalm as he just left his friend without a word and climbed up to the third floor.

Third Floor

Giotto walked to the middle of the hallway where the stairs to the roof were before getting blocked. 'Oh no. Is someone gonna jump out at me and demand a singing contest or something?' He looked up at the shadow that was blocking him only to see the one and only Reborn. And then they proceeded to…

Reality

"...was what I was going to have you all do before I realized that it was dumb and practically impossible," Tsunayuki said to the audience in front of her as she stood on a makeshift stage on the roof of Namimori Middle School. The Vongola and the Sky all sweat dropped at Tsunayuki's creativity. "That's…interesting," was all Yamamoto said. "But I'm pretty sure none of my band members used to practice a martial art?" Giotto questioned, turning around only to see everyone sheepishly scratching their necks. 'Wait, seriously?' Giotto thought as he looked at them blankly and quickly turned back around to look at Tsunayuki. "So, what are you going to extremely do instead of the game?" Knuckle asked, kind of curious as to why they were all gathered. "Well, the only thing I can do: perform!" Tsunayuki said excitedly as she handed a mic to Giotto, "With Giotto of course."

Giotto took the mic from Tsunayuki and stood up to get on the stage.

"Oh, you're going to be part of the audience Giotto. After all, it's only a small part," Tsunayuki clarified. Giotto looked disappointed as he sat down again. Tsunayuki looked at Reborn, who turned on a speaker and the music started. She closed her eyes and began to sing.

In all honesty, Tsunayuki was nervous. She, or rather, he didn't know if this was a good idea or not. After all, he would be revealing the only secret he had kept his whole life.

However, his nervousness disappeared and he smiled as he remembered all the times Giotto helped him. He remembered the days when he was bullied or laughed at, and how Giotto would always somehow find and rescue him, even if Giotto wasn't actually at school.

He remembered how he woke up at Giotto's house after getting beaten up and accused of making Giotto fall in love with Tsunayuki. He remembered his heart beating after realizing that Giotto loved him and the slight disappointment when he meant that he loved him like family. He remembered how Giotto helped him and was even willing to get revenge for him. And these memories made his heart beat faster and faster for the person he loved.

Of course, he would be lying if he said it didn't hurt when Giotto confessed that he loved Tsunayuki, his own alternate personality that he created. But at the same time, he didn't really care. After all, it was just another way to spend more time with Giotto and to maybe even be on the receiving end of the love he had always wanted. However, he realized that if he really wanted to make Giotto's dream come true, he would have to give up Tsunayoshi and instead become Tsunayuki. So he sealed his original self away and decided to remain as Tsunayuki for as long as Giotto loved her.

When Giotto told her that he loved someone else, she was sad. Disappointed. She loved everything about him but he chose someone else instead. But when she heard it was Tsuna, Tsunayuki decided to bring him back. After all, this was what Tsunayoshi sealed himself for: to make Giotto's love come true. And now that Giotto's love belonged to Tsunayoshi, there was no need for a Tsunayuki. So she decided to stop this lie, and while it pained her to do so, she was fully aware that she herself was just a part of Tsunayoshi that he created to satisfy his love's desires. After all, they were the same person, the two sides of the same coin. So she brought him back and Tsunayoshi became whole once more.

Giotto, on the other hand, was confused. Why did Tsunayuki have him sing the female part? After all, he was a male and she was a female. But he went along with it anyway, hoping to fulfill the final condition that the girl he used to love with all his heart had imposed on him.

As Giotto sang this part, he instinctively knew that something big was about to change. That his sense of reality would do a complete flip and that he would never see the world in the same way. More specifically, he would never see Tsunayuki in the same way. And when Tsunayuki took a breath and started singing, Giotto realized.

The person in front of the audience wasn't Tsunayuki. After all, the person who just sang used a rather male like voice. A voice that sounded suspiciously familiar. A voice that they hadn't heard in the longest time. A voice they had missed.

As the last notes of the song faded away, Tsunayuki was no longer in front of them. Instead, they saw the wig being taken off, the long hair being replaced with familiar gravity-defying hair. And when he opened his eyes, they all realized that the amber eyes that they expected to see were replaced with honey colored, doe eyes. The members of the Sky were shocked while the members of Vongola smiled with happiness.

"Tsuna...yoshi?" was the first sound everyone heard in the midst of shock and happiness. Tsuna just casually smiled. "Tadaima minna." The first one to react was Giotto, who jumped up and ran to the stage. He hugged Tsuna as if he hadn't seen him for the longest time, which was technically true. Giotto couldn't stop the tears flowing from his eyes as he held the love of his life in his arms. Tsuna smiled and hugged him back. "Tadaima Giotto," was whispered into the blonde's ear. At some point, everyone snapped out of their shock and smiled as they watched their best friends hug each other.

"Welcome back Jyuudaime," Gokudera said as he approached the stage. Tsuna and Giotto let go of each other as they heard everyone approach the stage. "Thanks Gokudera."

"Welcome back Tsuna," Yamamoto said as he went to sling his arm around Tsuna. Everyone welcomed Tsuna back as if he had really left for Italy and came back a year later. "Thanks everyone!"

"I extremely didn't expect you to be Tsunayuki, Tsuna," Knuckle said.

"Then it seems I hid my secret very well~" Tsuna said cheekily. They all laughed and hugged Tsuna one by one. They all chatted with each other and the Sky were surprised to find out that the Vongola had figured Tsuna's secret out soon after Tsuna had supposedly left. "So you guys knew this whole entire time and didn't decide to tell us," G commented, a little envious that he wasn't let in on the secret. "Maa maa. That would have ruined the whole entire thing," Yamamoto reasoned. "But still…" G sulked.

"Well, I think a welcome back party is in order. We can all head to Takesushi and eat some sushi while talking," Yamamoto proposed. Everyone agreed and started heading off. Tsuna was about to follow them before he felt a hand on his arm.

He looked back and found Giotto staring intensely at him. "If you stare that much, you're going to burn a hole through me," he commented. Giotto blushed profusely before looking away. "So… you were Tsunayuki the whole time?" Giotto asked. Tsuna hesitated a little before responding.

"Yes and no," Tsuna replied.

"What does that mean?"

"Well, ever since the day you told me you liked Tsunayuki, I decided to give it my all to make your love come true. So I locked myself up in my own conscious and made Tsunayuki so you could have the love of your life," Tsuna explained.

Giotto looked down in despair. "So, I made you disappear, just so I could date someone I realized I didn't love later? I'm so sorry, Tsuna."

Tsuna rushed to cheer him up. "No no no. I wanted to do it. It wasn't your fault at all. And besides, I came back didn't I?"

Giotto looked up at Tsuna. "But…" Tsuna put a finger to his lips to shush him.

"No buts. After all, there was only one reason I came back," he said while smiling gently. Giotto blushed when he realized the reason but smiled all the same. "So you came back for me?"

Tsuna smiled. "Well, only if you say it."

Giotto smiled even brighter as he stepped forwards and took Tsuna's hands into his own. "Sawada Tsunayoshi. You have been a constant in my life. You have always been by my side regardless of how many girls I believed I loved and you have always cheered me up when I was dumped or was doing the dumping. You sacrificed yourself for me even when I told you I loved someone else. Tsunayoshi, you are literally the light of my life. You have been with me through the bad times and the good times. You have lit a smile on my face every time I see you smile. Tsunayoshi, I have fallen in love with your smile and the brightness that it brings to my life. I have fallen in love with your kindness, loyalty, and patience as you stayed with me as I went through my successes and my failures. I have fallen in love with you, Tsunayoshi, and I wish to keep you by my side as I continue to walk on my path of life. So, Tsunayoshi, will you do the honors of staying by my side forever?"

Honestly, Tsuna was speechless. He was happier than he could ever imagine. He thought back to all those days when he was depressed because Giotto was with another girl and happy when Giotto finally broke up with his girlfriend. He remembered all the times Giotto was there to cheer him up after he got bullied or made fun of and all the times he had been there for Giotto when Giotto needed a little light in his darker days. All of those days, emotions, and times culminated to this one moment as he clutched Giotto's hands and tears started flowing from his eyes. He then said the one word that he has always wanted to say:

"Yes."

The End

A/N: Hi minna! Thank you for reading Hidden Idol from start to finish! It's been a long ride of writer's block and cringey writing. Sorry for the fact that the beginning of this final chapter was pretty much a joke, but I didn't know what to write until I wrote all of it.

Anyways, the song that Tsuna and Giotto sang was Pierrot. I was listening to Senka sing it and it was beautiful. I thought it might apply to the whole Tsunayoshi Tsunayuki situation and put it in.

I hoped you enjoyed Hidden Idol and I'll see you again someday!
