Hello my fellow Total Drama fans. Well it took a while but I manage to finish this chapter. Yes it took forever to do and if you saw my update for my Gravity Falls reaction story you will know that the reason I haven't gotten anything done before then was due to falling into a depression which let me tell you wasn't my proudest moment. But even when getting better and writing again it still takes time to get any good chapter done, even more when you want it to be a well written chapter. But the time is now and here we have the teams face their biggest fears. Who will win since I threw the curve ball last time? Only one way to find out.

Total Drama Shinobi!

Chapter seven; Face Your Fears Like a Shinobi

"Last time on Total Drama Island," Chris started as he smiled at the camera. "The campers had their survival skills put to the test when they spent the entire night camping in the woods. Katie and Sadie's friendship were on the ropes when the two got lost and it snowballed from there. Duncan's ghost story spooked the Killer Bass then Naruto told them of one of his ninja missions where he ended up going against one scary dude. Shame we didn't get more details. With the Gophers, Izzy pulled a prank on them by dressing up as a bear. Unfortunately, a real bear showed up and the Gophers spent the night up in a tree; which really sucked for them. Then it rained and the Killer Bass ended up losing their tent so no one got any sleep last night. Naruto found the lost BFF girls and with a few words, mended their friendship into a stronger bond. With a surprising twist the Screaming Gophers were the ones on the chopping block because DJ ran back to find his new pet Bunny, costing the team the win. DJ boarded the boat of losers with his new pet, never to be seen again."

Chris poked at the firepit, making a bit of smoke come out. "Yep, the challenge was rough alright. And if I have anything to say about it, today's will be even more brutal. Luckily I do. What fresh horrors have we planned for our campers? Find out next on Total…Drama…Island!"

Theme song

The screaming Gophers sat around the still burning camp fire, not long after DJ left on the boat of losers. Most of them were disappointed that they lost the challenge but also because this was the third challenge they lost in a row. One however was angry; angry at their teammate, angry at the lost and just angry in general. It wasn't hard to figure out which one. "I can't believe this."

Everyone glanced up towards Heather, who was sitting in her seat, with crossed arms and growling slightly. "We should have won this one."

"Really?" Lindsay asked confused, "then why did we vote CB off?"

"Getting angry won't change anything," Tyler advised to his alliance captain, "we just need to regroup and get them next time."

The others nodded in agreement while Heather still scowled. Then, to the Gopher's surprise the Killer Bass walked into view, Beth holding a tray with a jello cake. "What do you guys want?" Heather asked suspiciously. "Coming to gloat?"

Courtney huffed, "please that is beneath us."

"Harold's fire ant farm broke and the ants are loose," Naruto explained. "We're waiting till they clear out and thought we might as well hang out with you guys."

"We brought a peace offering too," Beth added, holding the jello out to them.

"Ah thank you," Lindsay says as she looks at the jello before she jerks back with a small shriek, "oh my god! A worm's in it!"

This took the team by surprise and looked to see a worm was indeed in the jello. "Oh no, no, no" Beth explained quickly, "it's just a gummy worm."

"Like I said, we wouldn't stope that low," Courtney reminded them, "it's gross enough as it is anyways."

"Ooooh," Lindsay said, very relieved. "That's much better."

Beth nodded and handed the jello to Lindsay to take, "yeah, much better than a real worm. They really freak me out. I'd hate to even think about being covered by them."

"I hear that sister," Leshawna said with a nod, "creepy crawlies give me the hebbie jebbies."

"I feel yea," Tyler agreed, "the same for me but with chickens."

"You're afraid of chickens?" Gwen asked him, wanting to make sure she heard that right.

Duncan chuckled, "wow that's…that's really lame man."

(confessional)

"So suddenly everyone is having this big share fest by the fire," Gwen explained to the camera, her chin resting on her hand. "Like how Justin went on and on about his mortal fears is no longer having his good looks. Harold's afraid of ninja, though seems fine around Naruto for some reason. Even Heather admitted she was afraid of sumo wrestlers."

*static*

"It's true that I'm afraid of ninja," Harold confessed to the viewers. "And I know Naruto is one. But I also know he's a friend and doesn't act like, well a ninja, so it helps out. In retrospect however that's, like, even more terrifying."

"What's my greatest fear?" Gwen repeated her questioned, looking quite nervous. "Being buried alive."

"Walking through a minefield" Lindsay added from next to Gwen, "in heels."

Down the line was Owen who explained, "flying man. That's some crazy stuff."

"I would never go up in a plane," Izzy added, hugging herself, "never."

Geoff was next "I'm scare of hail, it's small but deadly dude."

Bridgette looked down before she said, "being left alone in the woods."

"The only thing we fear worst then bad haircuts," Katie said, which caused Sadie to shiver "is being away from each other for too long."

"Oh, I take mine back," Lindsay said suddenly, "having a bad haircut sounds way worst then a minefield."

"Well I hate mimes," Trent offer since everyone else was sharing, "like a lot."

"I'm not really afraid of anything," Courtney denied.

"Bologna," Duncan coughed aloud.

Courtney glared at him, "Oh really? Well what's exactly your phobia mister tough guy?"

Duncan looked startled before looking at everyone else, who was focus on him. Seeing he wouldn't be able to bluff his way out of this he sighed, "C-Celine Dion music store standee."

"A what of who?" Naruto asked confused not knowing either the person nor whatever Duncan is afraid of.

"Dude did you just say Celine Dion music store standees?" Trent asked, wanting to make sure he heard that right. Duncan just covered his face with his hands.

"Oh, I love Celine Dion," Lindsay said happily before she paused, confused about something. "What's a standee?"

Trent answered with a chuckle "you know, those cardboard cutouts that stand in music stores."

"Don't say it dude," Duncan warned him though he was too late.

"Think a life size, but flat Celine" Trent added, ignoring Duncan's warning.

"So if we had a life size standee right now…?" Courtney lead off to tease the punk.

"Shut up!" Duncan said, trying to cover his ears so he wouldn't have to hear it. He decided to change the topic or rather put someone else in it. "What about you Whiskers? I'm sure you're scared of something. I bet it's that Zabuza guy, right?"

"Who?" Tyler asked, looking as confused as the other members of the Screaming Gophers.

"A ninja Naruto told us about for, like, one of his missions," Harold explain with a shiver. "He's sounds even more terrifying then a normal ninja."

Gwen raised a brow at him, even more when several other Killer Bass that heard the story (such as Justin, Beth and Bridgette) looked a bit scared as well. "That scary?" she asked Duncan.

The punk smirked "the dude would make the perfect slasher movie villain. And the best part is he's real." He paused here and looked to Naruto, "or was real. You sure he's dead?"

Naruto nodded, "yeah my team buried him ourselves. But I can't say I'm scared of Zabuza, even when I was a genin. No, my greatest fear is ghost."

"Ghost?" Owen asked, surprised by this. And he wasn't the only one.

Duncan snorts, "wow really man? You faced a murdering monster of a ninja and no doubt more, but you're scared of ghost."

Naruto gave him a small glare, "you're scared of a cardboard singer. I can fight and break that. I can fight almost anything, but I can't fight ghost. Even worse is they can curse you and you can't stop them."

Courtney giggled, very amused, "still seems childish."

"What about you Courtney?" Trent asked her, "you're scared of something."

"Nope," the CIT denied, "nothing."

"Not even Zabuza," Duncan asked with a smirk, "You looked pretty scared when Naruto told us about him. Hell, you were scared of my story."

"I will admit Zabuza sounds like a freighting character," she admitted even if she hated to do so, "but have you ever considered that I was just humoring you?"

"Sure, sure princess," Duncan said, waving her off much to her anger "whatever floats your boat."

"Shut up!" Courtney ordered, angrily stomping her feet.

"You don't have to hide what you're scared of Courtney," Naruto said to comfort her. "we're all friends here. We're not going to make fun of you if you're afraid of something different."

Courtney huffed, "I'm not scared of anything."

Naruto frowns at this. "Being afraid is not a weakness," he advised, thinking back to one of the things Iruka taught him and his friends. "The bravest man isn't the one that fears nothing; but the one that goes and faces his fear."

"Well said," Trent agreed, and the others nodded as well. Courtney just huffed and didn't budge on the issue.

The next morning Chris got the campers' attention by a whistle. "Campers!" Chris called out dramatically for the camera, "your next challenge is a little game I like to call, Phobia Factor. Prepare to face, your worst fears."

"Worst then this?" Leshawna asked, holding up a graying sausage that had a few hairs on it.

"We're in trouble," Gwen added plainly.

"Heather!" Chris called out, looking at a small note card for the different challenges. "meet us all in the theater; it's sumo time!"

Heather, who was not expecting this, spat coffee from a mug which covered Trent. Gwen didn't have time to taunt Heather as Chris called her out, "Gwen; you, me, the beach, a few tons of sand."

Gwen gasped at this, as the rest of the cast slowly realized what was happening. All expect for Lindsay, "wait; how did they know those were your worst fears?"

Gwen slapped her forehead as it dawned on her, "because we told them."

Lindsay stilled looked confused, but Trent explained it to her, "at the campfire last night."

Lindsay stood up at this reveal "this were listening to us?"

"It's a reality show Einstein," Gwen reminded her, "they'll always listening to us."

Naruto nodded his head, pouting slightly as that was one of the main reasons he hasn't be able to go and try and get some training done to not only make sure he doesn't lose his edge anymore then he already has, but to help burn off some of the extra energy throughout the day. The challenges help sometimes but other times there were periods he wasn't able to do anything. He's own musing was only broken when he noticed Chef walking pass the table carrying a tray with a fried chicken in the shape of a fully grown, uncooked chicken. He looked up to see Chef holding the tray out for Tyler, the jock becoming pale and shaking. After a moment to gather his courage before he reached and grabbed the fried chicken by the feet. Holding it up Tyler gulped before he closed his eyes and slowly moved the chicken towards his mouth afterwards he took a bite of the fried head. He opened his eyes to find it strange as he didn't taste anything by the fried bread crumbs. He holds the fried chicken out to inspect it before the head of a very much alive chicken popped out with a cluck.

Tyler screamed before throwing the chicken away. Naruto blinked in surprise before he looked at an amused Chef. "Did you fry a whole chicken without killing it?" he asked to which Chef nodded. Naruto blinked before he laughed, "That is so cool!"

Chef chuckled and gave Naruto a fist bump.

The two teams stood around a large inflatable pool, filled with live squiggling worms. This was Beth's challenge as her fear was being covered in bugs. All she had to do was jump into the pool, so her whole body was covered for three seconds. The others cringed and gagged at the worms before Beth took a deep breath and jumped in, diving beneath the worms. No one said anything as they waited, until the time was up and Beth broke the surface with a gapping breath of air. Beth beamed and held her arms up in victory while her team cheered, "And Beth sets the bar way up there" Chris proclaimed to the camera.

"Nice work Beth," Naruto smiled, helping the girl out of the pool.

"Thanks," Beth said before she shivers and knocked some of the worms off with her hands, "I just don't want to do that again."

Lindsay sat in the mess hall with Justin right beside her, both looking scared. In front of them was Chris who held a wing of brown long hair in a style most likely been in the 80's. Next to Chris was his own personal makeup artist, his kit ready for Justin. Their challenges were simple; wear the wig for the remainder of the day to score a point for Lindsay, while Justin has to get a makeover of bad makeup and look at himself in the mirror for ten minutes without screaming, fleeing or trying to remove the makeup. Justin took one look at the makeup before he gave a cry of panic and fled. Chris looked amused before he noticed that someone took the wig from him. It was Owen, who found the wig to be cool in his opinion. So much so he wore it himself and started to dance around. He however didn't see one of the seats and tripped into the table. Chris quickly swiped the wig back and placed it on Lindsay's head.

Owen rubbed his head as Chris approached him, "Owen my man, I got a surprise for you outside."

Owen followed the host and walked next to Izzy, who was looking confused as Owen as. Chris led the way until they stopped in front of an airplane, one that looked like it was falling apart. Both teens were scared, even more when Chef opened the door to show he would be the one flying them. The two Gophers gasped in horror before Chef grabbed them both and pulled them into the plane. Less than a minute later the plane was started and taking off. Owen and Izzy were screaming, even more once they saw tape that was covering cracks in the wings starting to peel off.

Naruto was in edge as he walked towards the cabins. He knew he would have to face his fears of ghost but that doesn't mean he would make it easy. He felt he might be safe for now as Chris has Leshawna get chased around by an intern dressed as a giant spider and Chef was still flying Izzy and Owen. He just opened the door of his cabin when Chris walked up to him, "Hey Naruto, can we talk?"

Naruto was taken aback but shrugged and closed the door and walked up to him. "Walk with me," Chris said, starting to walk and Naruto followed him easily.

"What's this about?" Naruto asked him since Chris doesn't make an effort to talk to the campers when there wasn't a challenge to taunt them with.

"As you know we are doing a fear challenge," Chris started to explain. "And as you heard last night, Harold's fear are ninjas. Now we first intended to have a couple of hired actors scare him in a quick show. But then I got a better idea that not only saves on the budget but also bring in the ratings. Have a real ninja scare him."

Naruto blinked at this, "me? You want me to scare Harold."

Chris nodded, "that's right. You show off some ninja skills and scare the pants off Harold."

Naruto frowned, thinking it over before he said, "What do I get out of it?"

Chris sighed at this; truthfully, the host had expected something like this, but he would be lying if he said wasn't hoping Naruto would do it for free. "What do you want? And within reason. No immunity for a long period of time, no getting out of the challenge or stuff like that."

Naruto's terms however weren't what he expected. "I want time where the cameras aren't watching me."

"Come again?"

Naruto jerked a thumb to the camera man that was filming them. "I want some time where the cameras aren't watching or filming me. One of the biggest reasons I haven't been doing any training is because the cameras are watching me when I'm about to try."

Chris tabbed his chin, thinking it over and weighing the pros and cons. After a minute he said, "only if you really scare Harold or show a good ninja trick. And then your camera free time can't be during challenges."

"Deal," Naruto said holding a hand out to Chris.

The host beamed and shook the hand, "we'll go over the details after the challenge is over. Now go and scare Harold senseless and bring in the ratings!"

(confessional)

"Is it mean to scare Harold?" Naruto asked the camera before he shrugged in responds. "Maybe. But everyone is facing their fears so it's fair, and it can help Harold in facing his fears. Plus it won't be bad; I'll just be pranking him really."

Harold exiting the bathrooms to head back to the rest of the team, since Chris was taking Brigette, Katie and Sadie to different parts of the woods where they weren't allowed to find each other. Harold thought his teammates could handle it but was also on alert. His worst fear are ninjas, so it wasn't wise to be off guard. When he got within seeing distances of the teams did he notice smoke gathering around him. He got into a karate pose as he noticed the gray smoke spring from something hidden in the grass. He didn't get time to try and see what as the smoke covered him, hiding his view all around him. He glanced all around, sweating beginning to form before he declared, "easy Harold…just get out of the smoke you'll be able to see them coming."

"What makes you think you will see me?"

Harold jumped as the dark growling voice that seem to come from all around him. He didn't see anything, so he called out hoping to have the voice reveal his location, "I know your tricks ninja!"

The voice gave a chuckle, a dark chuckle that sent shivers down Harold's spine and the campers when they ran over by the smoke to see what was happening. The voice said, "you don't know my tricks brat. I could kill you without you even knowing what happen. You won't even get to hear me or even get to scream."

"Who are you!" Harold shouts, jerking around when he thought he saw shadow move but it was gone.

The voice chuckled again, "I doubt you've heard of me. Even without a mist I'm still considered a demon to those much braver and stronger then you."

Harold froze and gulped, shaking terribly. "You're not him. Zabuza's dead."

The voice laughed again, "you'd be surprise how easy it is to fake one's death."

Harold jumped as this time the voice said that right behind him. He turned and tried to hit the supposed fallen ninja but hit nothing but smoke. By this point the rest of the campers stood outside the smoke, each one on edge with the dark voice and the shadows they can barely see. They saw Harold's shadow but their concern was the larger shadow appearing for a second before vanishing. Harold was shaking while trying to find a way out. If he could get out of this smoke…

But before he could even make an attempt to flee the voice called out again. "Eight vital spots."

Harold blinked at this before the voice started to list off slowly, "Larynx, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subclavian veins, kidneys, heart."

"Wha?" Harold asked, confusion covering gear for a moment.

"Which vital spot should I go for first?"

Harold stiffen, not realizing what was about to happen. "get a grip Harold. You can get out of this before he kills you. At least he didn't say brain."

"Excellent suggestion," the voice said behind him, causing Harold to freeze. "It's so nice when my targets give me the way they want to die."

Harold spun around to see his attacker. The man towered over Harold with large muscles, no shirt and the lower half of his face wrapped in bandages. He had a wicked looking glare and held the biggest sword he has ever seen in one hand, ready to swing it down on him. Zabuza glared and simply said, "die," before he swung his weapon at Harold.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

The rest of the campers jumped when Harold gave out a piercing scream. They were able to see the massive shadow near Harold before it swung something massive at him. They didn't say a thing as the smoke started to clear showing Harold on the ground in a dead faint, foaming at the mouth.

(confessional)

"Damn," Duncan admitted with a stunned look, "what happen in there?"

*static*

Geoff held his hat as he tried to come to terms with the scene. "did you see the size of whatever that dude had? How did Harold survive man?"

*Static*

Naruto sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, "I may have overdone it. But I'm sure Harold's fine.

*static*

Harold stared blankly at the camera, his mouth open in an unheard scream with no reaction whatsoever.

The teams sat at the stage where they did the talent show challenge with Heather on stage and a large sumo standing across from her. Heather herself was shaking at she stared at the large angry looking sumo that was getting ready. Chris then explained off to the side. "Here's the deal Heather: the sumo wrestler will charge at you. To score a point and put your team on the board, all you have to do it is stay in that spot and not run away."

Chris blew a whistle and the sumo charged right at Heather. Heather panicked as she crouched down into a ball and covered her head but stayed in her spot. The sumo didn't expect this as he tripped over the crouch teen and fell off the stage. Heather looked up and saw that she did it. rising up she held her hands over her head, her team clapping and cheering at the victory.

Bridgette sat on a log in the forest, all alone. Her task was staying in the woods for six hours without running back to camp or to any of the campers. "I'm not scared," Bridgette said to herself to keep herself calm. "Six hours out here is nothing."

A small chipmunk popped out of the ground and scurried by her feet. Bridgette jumped at this and accidently kicked her leg, catching the rodent and sending it flying. "Oops," she muttered, feeling bad about what she just did.

One the shores of the island the campers stood before Chris who was using a shovel to place sand into a hole. Inside was a large clear coffin where Gwen was laying in, looking frighten and breathing evenly through an open slot. Gwen flinched when Chris dropped a shovel full of sand on the coffin. Since her fear was being buried alive it was clear what her challenge was. Luckily she wasn't totally in danger as a large air machine was hooked up so she had plenty of air for the challenge. "There's enough air for you for an hour, you only need to last five minutes" Trent reassured her.

"Why are you trying to calm her down?" Courtney asked crossing her arms, "she's on the other team."

Trent scowled at her. "She's about to be buried alive which is what she's most afraid of. Even if she was on the other team, I wouldn't want anyone to face their fears like that."

"He has a point you know," Naruto agreed, getting the CIT to turn her scowl on him. "But I think she'll be fine even without his help."

"As long as we decide to dig you up," Chris joked with a chuckle and another shovel throw.

"Not funny Chris," Gwen said with a glare.

"Jeez take a pill" Chris muttered, taking a bit more pleasure then he should at the next shovel throw.

"I'll be listening the whole time," Trent said as he lowered a walkie talkie through the slot. "Just yell for me if you panic and I'll dig you right up."

"Goodbye cruel world," Gwen moaned before the slot was closed up and sand covered her view.

High in sky Owen and Izzy were screaming their heads off as Chef pulled off some tricks like flying the plan upside down for fun. Their screams can be heard all the way to the ground where their teammates felt pity for them. Even Naruto was worried for his friends as he walked toward the cabins to try and calm his nerves.

He didn't think he should stay by Gwen for her challenge since he had to hold back going to unbury her since the first minute of being buried was a panic cry but she still keep herself from giving up. Right now he was trying to relax after that and the scare he gave Harold but he was still on guard. Naruto knew he would be forced to face his fears soon since he was one of the few yet to take the challenge. He opened the door to the cabin only to freeze.

In the open doorway was a short woman wearing a shirt dressing gown and long messy black hair was looked like it was wet and draped over her face, expect for a visible bloodshot eye. Worst was the fact she looked deadly pale and he could see through her. Naruto gave a cry before he struck out a punch but it went right through her head. He gave another shout and jumped high into the air and threw several shuriken at her but they also had no effect.

The other campers watched with Chris as Naruto ran right pass them with the ghost following. They watch as the drone followed the shinobi, being the source of the hologram ghost. Chris laughed, "did you see him jump?"

"We did," Leshawna said in disbelief. "Over twelve feet into the air. Who says white boys can't jump?"

"How does he do that?" Tyler asked that jealous of the way he was able to jump so high. As a joke good at basketball he couldn't say he is able to jump that high.

"You think he would show that more often," Courtney muttered annoyed by the lack of Information on his skills set. As the self proclaim leader of the Killer Bass (in her mind) she felt she should know what her team can do so she can plan accordingly.

Chris chuckled rubbing his hands together, "I don't care what he does. When he pulls surprise stuff like that it brings in the ratings." He paused to see Justin running by them, the make up artist not far behind. "Seriously he still hasn't put on the makeup? That is weak dude."

Trent sat on the beach and check the timer on the air machine showing three minutes remaining. "You still alive in there?" Trent tease as a joke to keep her calm. "Only three more minutes."

"And then you'll dig me up right?" Gwen asked quickly, clearly wanting to get the challenge over with.

"Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere," Trent reassured her. "I promise."

"I need some kind of distraction," Gwen begged through the radio. "Tell me a story. Umm, why do you hate mimes so much."

Trent sighed but started anyways since it would help her feel better. "My mom took me to this carnival once when I was four so I could see the elephants. I was so stoked."

"Yeah?" Gwen asked.

Trent stood up and went on, "I was so busy watching them that I lost her for a minute. I called out but when I turned all I could see this horrible white face with black lips pretending to be me. I screamed and tried to run but every time I turned around he was there, doing this creepy fake run and scream routine."

Trent stopped but only because he felt someone tap his shoulder. At first he thought it was either his teammates or Chris but when he turned he froze. Standing behind him was a mime, placing his hands on an invisible wall. Trent screamed and dropped the radio before he took off running. The mime followed him, neither one paying attention to the radio in the sand. "Trent?" Gwen asked when she heard that he stopped talking.

Trent screamed and kept running, not even pausing when he pass Chris and the other campers. Chris called out over a bullhorn so he would be sure he would be heard. "Just talk to him brah! Ask him to go away!"

Chris checked his watch, "well we got two minutes before we have to dig Gwen up. I wonder how Naruto's doing."

As if on que there was a loud angry scream "go away!" This left Chris chuckling.

Naruto as trying to lose the ghost without going too crazy and show his skills out in the open. Not to mention he was sure the ghost would still be able to find him even if he transformed into one of the campers or even a simple rock. The trees were no good since even jumping up to them and going from tree to tree the ghost was still following him. He jumped from a tree onto the roof of the mess hall before jumping down and entering through the door quickly. It was completely empty so Naruto took a seat to calm his breathing and heart rate.

After a minute he gritted his teeth and pulled at his hair. "What the hell is the matter with me?"

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he opens his eyes he jumped to see the ghost right in front of him. At first he ran for the door but stopped after a few steps. "No," Naruto muttered as he clenched his fist. "Naruto Uzumaki doesn't go down without a fight."

He turned and face the ghost, a determined look on his face. "You want me? Come get me!" Naruto called out, getting into a fighting stance with a kunai in hand.

The ghost just stared at him before she vanished without a trace. Naruto blinked at this before he cheered and pumped his fists in victory.

Trent looked around the beach where Gwen was buried, hoping that he lost the mime. What he didn't realize was the mime was behind him, pretending there was a wall blocking his way. Trent finally looked behind him and jumped with a scream. Seeing the mime kept 5e act up Trent called out. "There's no wall there man! Stop being creepy!"

The teams sat on the steps of the cabins with Duncan standing in front of his fear. A cardboard standee of Celine Dion. Courtney stood next to Duncan to help the punk who was stiff as a board. "She's pretty, not scary at all."

Duncan gulped seeing the standee in its pose and lifeless eyes. "Just one hug and you're done," Chris explained to him, finding the whole thing funny.

"T-t-that looks really…real man," Duncan muttered, barely about keep himself from doing anything crazy.

"She's made of cardboard dude!" Naruto shout encouragingly, sitting besides the only teammates still around, Beth and Harold. "You can do this!"

Duncan gulped before Courtney placed a hand on his shoulder, "Hey, it's okay if you can't do this."

She held Duncan's hand, causing the punk to smile softly. He took a deep breath and said, "okay I'll try."

Duncan took a few deep breaths before he ran forward, arms spread out and eye closed until he reached the standee and pulled it into a hug. The Killer Bass cheered as Duncan held the standee, even Courtney cheered and pulled the punk into his own hug after he lets go. "Duncan you're awesome!"

Duncan was taken aback by this but not as much as he was the fact he actually hugged the thing. "I did it."

Courtney then realize what she was doing and quickly let's go. The others didn't notice as they crowded around Duncan and congratulated him.

Trent ran onto the docks, having a plan to escape the mime. He raced to the end and jumped into the water, leaving the mime to pause at the end of the boardwalk. "Woo-hoo!" Trent cheered as his clever idea. He laughed and taunted the mime. "What's the matter? Can't swim?"

However to his horror the mime took a deep breath and went into a cartoonish pose to dive in after him. Thinking quickly Trent said, "Stop! Uhh, your makeup will run!"

The mime paused and thought it over before he nodded in agreement. He slumped over and walked away in defeat. This cause Trent to laugh even harder. "Take that you makeup wearing freak!"

"Nicely played Trent," Chris said clapping as the mime walked pass him. The host stared and grimaced as to be honest he wasn't a fan either.

Chris then pulled out a large remote. "Unfortunately I don't think things are going quite so smoothly with our buddy Geoff."

The party boy in question was sitting in a lawn chair, relaxing. True he still had to complete the challenge but to be honest he didn't think it was possible. It was a perfect sunny day with no clouds in sight. He had nothing to really worry about. But as he settled down for a small nap he felt the sun wasn't hitting him anymore. He opens his eyes and looked up to see a small gray cloud a few feet above him. He raised a brow before something started to fall from the cloud rapidly; small bits of hail.

Geoff jumped to his feet and let out a shrillish scream before taking off as fast as he could. But the cloud seemed to be following him, still pouring hail over his head. He ran pass his teammates, getting them all to watch the very strange scene. "Ah look," Lindsay said with a happy smile. "that cloud is following him. It's like his own baby cloud. I want one too. Here cloudy-cloud!"

Geoff took no notice as he ran pass the spot where Gwen was buried, the timer flashing showing her time was up. Naruto slowly walked out of the woods to see what the screaming was about and notice the timer on the air machine.

Turns out the cloud wasn't a normal cloud. In fact, it was being controlled by Chris as he made it follow the still screaming party boy. Standing next to him Trent watched and smirked. "Can you make the cloud go lower and pelt him harder?"

"You are one sick dude," Chris chided before he smirked, "but yeah."

As he did, the cloud so low it was covering Geoff's head, not that it mattered much since all it did was make Geoff scream louder. Trent chuckled at the sight "that's awesome." He paused with a frown, something on his mind. "Hey, you feel like you've forgotten something?" he asked the host.

"Sometimes," Chris admitted, "but I usually ignore it and the feeling goes away. Now watch this; I'm going to bury him in hail."

"Bury?" Trent questioned before he gasped. "Gwen!"

Chris watched him leave but shrugged and went back to his fun.

Bridgette paced around her clearing, trying to calm her nerves. "Okay, okay, okay. Bridge; you can do this. Only," she checked her watch, "four hours and fifteen minutes to go."

A loud caw of a crow could be heard but that didn't frighten the surfer. "Don't bother try and freak me out producer people!"

But a loud shrillish scream pierced through the forest, followed by another one, freaking Bridgette out. The screams could be heard all the way to the beach where Naruto, Trent and Chris were shoveling to free Gwen. "What was that?" Trent asked the host.

"If I had to guess," Chris said with a shrug, "I would say Katie and Sadie couldn't handle being apart anymore."

"I hope their okay," Naruto said as he dug up more sand.

After a few more minutes they completely uncover Gwen's coffin. "Gwen you did it," Trent said happily. All he got in return was her throwing her walkie talkie which hit his head. "I deserve that."

"You kinda did," Naruto agreed, since he heard of how Trent left Gwen after the mime showed up. Even if the fear of the mime is taken into account the fact he forgot about her afterwards still wasn't good in his opinion.

"She's alright!" Chris called out with a laugh, "She's alright!"

After a few hours chef finally landed the plan, seeing he was running out of fuel and the wings weren't holding up as much anymore. Once they landed Owen and Izzy jumped out and ran a few feet from the plan before they started to kiss the ground, happy to no longer be flying. That didn't stop them from laughing and Izzy to declare. "We did it!"

Chef shook his head as he watched them, barely noticing that both wings finally broke and fell off the plan.

Bridgette smiled at the camera, feeling good about herself. "Actually, I'd like to thank the producers for making me face my fear. It's like Naruto said; the bravest man isn't the one afraid of nothing but who can stand up and face their fear. I'm proud of myself."

Bridgette looked pleased with herself and how she was doing so well on her challenge. Feeling like she might help her team win the challenge, although she wasn't even sure how everyone else was doing. Her train of thought was broken when she heard something in the woods. It was a sound that was getting louder and louder and louder. Bridgette stood up, getting slightly scared. Even more when a second sound came, both started to sound like screaming. "Guys is that you?" Bridgette asked nervously. "This isn't funny."

Bridgette fidgets in place as the sound got even louder, making it sound like whatever was making the sounds they were coming closer. Finally Bridgette couldn't take it anymore and ran out of the clearing and away from whatever possible danger was heading her way.

Less then a minute after Bridgette left the clearing, two figures burst from the underbrush on either side, showing it to be Katie and Sadie, both screaming at the top of their lungs. They kept running until they meet in the middle of the clearing and hug one another. "Katie!" "Sadie!" both friends turned sisters said as they reunited once more.

Lindsay moaned at her reflection in the mirror, seeing the horrible wig she was still force to wear. Beside her was Chris who was checking his watch, "Aaaaand….you're done."

"Yay!" Lindsay cheered before she pulled the wig off and threw it away without a care. She looked at her normal reflection and gave a small coo. "Aww, I forgot how pretty I was."

"Uh-huh," Chris muttered in a deadpan tone with matching look. "Sure you did."

The teams stood together once more, this time around a fenced off area. Chris smiled inside the pen, "Okay gang, we're in the ninth inning." The host smiled at Tyler "Tyler, for your challenge, you need to get into this pen for three minutes," he paused to lift the top of a box to reveal… "with these chickens."

"You can do it Tyler," said Geoff encouragingly.

"Unless of course you're chicken," Duncan added to tease the jock.

"I'm not sure we're getting anywhere with this one" Chris complained, seeing Tyler rocking back on forth on the ground while hugging his knees.

"Tyler stop being a girl" Heather demanded of her alliance member.

"Why are you being pushy?" Courtney asked her with a raised brow. "Your team is winning anyways. You don't need him."

"By one," Heather reminded her, "and I rather we keep a strong lead in case one of you Killer Bass get your act together."

Courtney scowled at the reminder, "There's no one left! Everyone either completed the challenge or failed it. Justin still running from the makeup artist and we got no one left."

Chris chuckled "not necessary. We got one more challenge set up."

This got everyone, expect Tyler's, attention. "Who," Courtney asked confused. "it can't be me. But I didn't-"

"You didn't have to," Chris objected. "we're always watching you and your reactions."

(flash back)

"Like I said, we wouldn't stope that low," Courtney reminded them, "it's gross enough as it is anyways."

"I knew it!" Lindsay declared in victory. "didn't I tell you guys they were eavesdropping."

"Who cares," Courtney muttered, disappointed that her secret was out in the open now. "All it'll do it tie the game."

"Let's make this interesting," Chris offered. "I'll double your teams' score if you can complete it."

All eyes were on her and all Courtney could do is gulp.

The teams stood in front of a tall platform with a diving board on top. At the bottom was a large round tub where Chef was stirring the mass amount of jiggling green jello. Courtney had a look of despair as she realized what she had to do. Next to her Duncan snorts "you're afraid of jelly?"

"No!" Courtney shouts before she admits in dismay and anger. "just the green kind. It's like sugary, jiggly snot."

Chris stood to the side amused, "you can face your fears and dive straight into this pool of jelly, or let your team lose the game."

Courtney slumped in defeat before she walked over to the ladder and started the climb up. "This is insane," Courtney pointed out as she climbed. "I could seriously die doing this."

"Oh that is cruel," Gwen said aloud. "It's probably warm by now. Warm, green jelly. All snotty and bouncy," Gwen gaged and shivered at the thought.

Courtney however saw through this ploy, "You're not going to make me quit."

"That's it, keep climbing!" Duncan called out.

"You got this Courtney!" Naruto added to try and calm the girl down.

Courtney made it to the top and peered over the edge of the diving board and gave a small squeak. Duncan called back up to her, "Like you said Courtney, it's okay if you can't do it."

"It is? But we'll lose" Sadie pointed out to which Katie bumped her for being mean.

Courtney looked over again and then covered her eyes, "I can't do it. I'm coming down!"

The Screaming Gophers all cheered while the Killer Bass all sighed. Chris smiled to the camera, "And there you have it. The Screaming Gophers win invincibility this week, breaking the Killer Bass's winning streak."

Owen decided to celebrate by stepping into the vat of jelly and sat down till it was up to his neck. "You were right Gwen, it is warm" Owen stated happily.

Final Score: KB-4 SG-5 Winner Screaming Gophers.

Courtney sniffed as she sat before the camera, trying to keep herself from crying, "I'm so embarrassed. How can I be so weak? I deserve to go home." Courtney shook her head to get it straight. "Stop it. Show come confidence Courtney." This didn't last very long as she was unable to hold it and started to cry in shame.

That night the Killer Bass sat around the campfire. The votes have been cast and only two marshmallows remained on the plate. Everyone had a marshmallow in hand, expect for Courtney, Bridgette and Justin. "There are two marshmallows left on this plate. You three are the ones that failed the most of their challenges. Two of you couldn't even try. One of you are going home tonight and cannot return…ever.

"The next name I'm going to call is…Bridgette."

The surfer let out a breath of relief as she took her marshmallow. Justin and Courtney glanced at one another, both worry they would lose here. "The final marshmallow of the night goes to…Courtney."

The CIT beamed before she got up for her marshmallow. The model slumped in defeat, sad it had to end. Justine got up and headed for the docks, his teammates giving their goodbyes. As he passes Chris shook his head, "Sorry due but you ran away from make-up. There's no coming back from that."

Justin sighed and waved goodbye to his team and sat down on the boat.

(Confessional)

"Am I disappointed that I had to leave? Yes," Justin admitted before he smiled "but on the other hand I didn't have to look at myself being ugly. And that's a win for me."

The team started to head back to the cabin, Naruto staying behind since Chris wanted a word with him. The shinobi noticed that he was the only one remaining as Chris smiled and handed him something. He looked at it to see a small disk just smaller then his palm with a large red button in the middle. Chris smiled at the ninja, "You did an awesome show with Harold so here's my end of the bargain. When you press this button all camera near you will shut off and leave you alone. Just remember you can't use it during challenges."

Naruto smiled, giving the button a toss before catching it again. "Thanks Chris."

The shinobi walked away as Chris chuckled, "no thank you my boy. Just keep bringing all sorts of drama and the ratings."

And done! So the Screaming Gophers won like cannon but with how the fears played out it was believable right? How did you like how the challenge went down? Did I make the fears for the other players good enough or should I have done differently? Let me know and don't forget to review. Until next time.
