I'm trying this from my phone, because I'm too excited to wait 'til I can use MW to type it up from what I've written down. So, I'm sorry for any weird stuff with the format.

It was the night of the monthly sleepover for the Fairy Tail girls. It was also Christmas Eve, and we were gathered at my house, already opening our presents. The conversation had turned to people's love lives, as usual. And that's okay.

Until it came to mine.

"So, Lucy, how are you and Natsu doing?" Mira asked, handing out presents.

"We aren't dating," I huffed.

"Why?" she asked. "It always looks like it. I think you two DO have feelings for each other, you just won't admit it to anyone, including yourselves."

Damn, Mira is good. "If there's a price for rotten judgement," I said, grabbing the present she held out to me, "I've already won that." Thinking back to all the other crushes I've had, I added, "no man is worth the aggravation; that's ancient history, been there, done that." Like that time Cana had predicted I'd have a "fateful encounter".

"Who you think you're kidding? He's the earth and heaven to you," Mira replied.

"You try to keep it hidden, buhoney, we can see right through it," Cana chimed in, making me blush.

"Girl, you know you can't conceal it, we know how you feel AND who you're thing of," Levy said.

"No chance, no way. I won't say it. No. No," I replied forcefully.

"We see you swoon, you sigh. Why deny it?" Wendy asked.

I can't believe how much pressure I'm feeling right now. "It's too cliché," I shake my head. "I won't say I'm in love," I admit. Somewhat. Kinda. I guess. "I thought my heart hard learned its lesson; it feels so good when you start out," I added, remembering what went down the first time Mira had said Natsu and I would look good together. "My head is screaming 'get a grip, girl, unless you're dying to cry your heart out'," I said, my mind still on the "let's dig for some photos that might or might not exist" incident.

"You keep on denying," Mira said, a slight smirk on her face.

"Who you are AND how you're feeling," Wendy added, nodding in agreement with Mira.

"Baby, we're not buying," Cana said.

"Hon, we saw you hit the ceiling," Erza gently added.

"Face it like a grown-up," Levy said. I remember how she finally talked to Gajeel a couple of weeks ago, and I blushed as she continued, "when you gonna own up that you got it bad, girl?"

"No chance. No way," I repeated, Natsu's smile popping up in my mind, making me smile. "No. NO," I added, dropping the smile.

"Give up, give in. Check the grin, you're in love," Cana winked.

"This scene won't play," I said, squeezing one of the presents in my lap. "I won't say I'm in love," I repeated, mostly to myself.

"You're doing flips, reading our lips," Erza stated. My stomach was flipping... "You're in love," she added.

"You're all way off base; I won't say it," I replied. "Get off my case, I won't say it."

"Girl, don't be proud, it's okay you're in love," Lisanna said.

That felt like a blessing, with how she used to like Natsu. Then again, she is with Laxus now.

Looking down, I started opening the small gift in my hands. It was from Natsu. I couldn't help but grin when I saw it. A beautiful gold necklace, a key charm hanging on it. In the spot where the zodiac symbol would be, a tiny pink heart was engraved. "At least out loud, I won't say I'm in love," I said, smiling.

Well, I hope you enjoyed it. Sorry again for any format issues.
