One Year Later

"Dean, quit being lazy and grab that box." Naomi said wiping her sleeve across her forehead.

"Don't call me lazy, woman, I just did most of the work around here."

"You a lie. Don't make me take away your 'eat my cooking' card."

"Will you at least feed me in a different way?" Dean asked slyly while picking up the box, handing it to Naomi so she could open it.

"Nope." Naomi said imitating him as she placed the box on the kitchen counter.

Dean moved behind her placing both hands on the counter and pressing himself closer.

"You sure?" He whispered in her ear slowly dragging his tongue against her, tasting sweat and everything that was her.

Naomi tilted her head back giving him better access. "Positive."

Dean moved a hand off the counter as he trailed it along her rib cage and moved to her bare breast in her wife beater. "Still sure?"

Naomi pushed his hand away and turned around facing him.

"Do you see all this stuff we still have to unpack, my goodness, you and your one track mind."

Dean shrugged. "You're the one that doesn't want to feed me. I can't work on an empty stomach."

Naomi placed her hand on her hips, shaking her head. "Don't make me regret moving in with you if this is what it's going to be like."

"You could never leave me Giggles; we're stuck like bananas and peanut butter."

"What? Does that even make sense?"

"It does if you eat bananas and peanut butter, which one day I'm going to surprise with you that on our time off."

"Come on. We got the big items unpacked, just relax. It's just dishes and your damn miscellaneous stuff. We've been at this all day."

Dean walked out the kitchen and headed to the living room taking in everything and starting to feel a bit overwhelmed. He couldn't believe how the year went for him. He heard Naomi footprints as she wrapped her hands around his waist behind him.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just still not believing that you decided to move to Vegas with me."

"Why would I not? Dean, we've been through hell and back this past year. We both almost lost our jobs on numerous occasions."

Naomi thought back on the past year since canceling her wedding. The reaction wasn't good at all. She stayed holed up in the room with Dean as she ignored text after text from him and his family even work. The only call she answered was from Stephanie who figured out that Dean was there. They both were basically shunned from the majority of their co-workers minus a small handful. They weren't allowed to be seen with each other outside of the ring for at least 6 months and then they had to deal with the backlash of the dirt sheets. It was a rough time as Naomi lost her title to Charlotte and Dean was quickly relegated to side storylines away from the belt. Naomi knew Dean suffered missing his friendship with Roman and they finally became on speaking terms last month, they still had rough roads ahead but Dean was glad to have his best friend back in some way.

Jimmy still wouldn't speak with Naomi and it hurt her a lot as she missed that part of their friendship as well.

"Would you go back and do it again?" Dean asked interrupting her thoughts.

"In a heartbeat."

"How do you even know what I'm talking about?"

"I know you Dean."

Naomi let go of him to stand in front of him. "I would go back and only change one thing and that's not waste so much time denying that it was you; the moment you harassed me in the gym."

"You were practically begging for it and who am I to deny you?"

Naomi wrapped her arms around his waist as he bent down to kiss her nose.

"I love you." She said staring into his eyes.

"You sure about that?"

"Do you think I would have left Florida to come here with you? I've made a lot of errors in the past year but you are definitely not one of them."

"Love you too Giggles."

They heard the doorbell ringing pulling them apart temporarily.

"Pizza's here." Naomi announced skipping to the front door.

"Stop bouncing, unless you think it can get our pizzas free." Dean called out after.

Naomi stuck her tongue out opening the door to a very friendly delivery guy who couldn't stop smiling at her as she paid for the pizzas and tipped him handsomely.

"The smell of your green peppers and anchovies are making me sick. Why can't you be like a normal person?" She stated handing Dean the pizza to put on the table as she grabbed plates and napkins. "Beer, water, or soda?" Naomi called from the kitchen.

"Surprise me and you know you love me for being abnormal."

Naomi knew he wanted the beer with his pizza as she grabbed a Pepsi and him a beer, grabbing the plates managing to balance them all. Naomi walked into their dining room to place everything down in front of him. She was about to open the pizza before Dean stopped her, gently grabbing her wrist.

He pulled the chair out for her as she sat down in front of the table. He slowly opened the box of pizza to prepare to serve her as Naomi noticed that the pizza was in the shape of a heart. Naomi's head titled and her eyes squinted as she noticed the black olives on her pizza spelled out "Marry me?"

Naomi put her hands over her mouth as in the middle of the pizza stood the most beautiful ring she ever laid eyes on, it was a 1 carat, and perfect princess cut sapphire solitaire set in 18k white gold.

"At the end of the day I suck at this romantic stuff and you still deal with me so want to do what the box says and marry me?"

Naomi finally read the inside of the box which was written in black sharpie "Marry me?" Naomi looked up at him as he dropped awkwardly to one knee.

"Shit, I should've taken the ring first?"

"Dean, get up." Naomi said a bit teary eyed.

Dean stood up as Naomi picked up the ring that was surrounded by the pizza.

"Since you went ahead and made this awkward let me save you like always." Naomi said as she put the ring on her finger and stood up. "Yeah Dean, I'll marry." Naomi jumped into his arms wrapping her legs around him. "And you better not ask me if I'm sure."

Naomi threatened before kissing his lips.

Dean pulled away from her. "You know this mean you're stuck with me."

Naomi smiled before pulling him closer to her face. "I wouldn't have it any other way…."

A/N: This concludes my story. I just would to express my thanks to everyone who read it, reviewed, skimmed it, glossed over it. I don't care. This is my first multi-chaptered story that I've shared with anyone and to see that it was well received puts a gigantic smile on my face.

I was going to post my alternate ending because my original plan was to NOT have Dead and Naomi end up together and actually no one was supposed to find out but I'm going to keep that chapter locked with me and give everyone a pairing that maybe they never thought about. I am working on another multi-chaptered story separate from this one and yes, involve Naomi, so stay tuned and thanks so much everyone.
